The Best Pizza Restaurants in Ft. Lauderdale and Broward County | Eater Miami

"Say hello to Broward County’s best Detroit-style spot. Tucked in an unassuming Commercial Boulevard strip en route to the beach from Federal Highway, its lounge-y vibe with velvety red chairs is as sultry as its thick-breaded pies. Among its most unique offerings is the Mom’s Spaghetti, literally with spaghetti and meatballs on it."

Detroit‑style squares with caramelized cheese edges and beach‑adjacent vibes at Marina Village. Featured in Miami New Times’ 2025 list, it proves thick, crisp‑edged pan pizza belongs steps from the sand.

We’re from out of town and randomly stumbled across this place—and let me just say, some of the best pizza we’ve ever had. Seriously. But as amazing as the food was, what really made the night was Jordan. From the second we walked in, Jordan went above and beyond. His energy, his attentiveness, the way he carried himself—you’d think he owned the place. That’s how great he was. He made us feel welcome, walked us through the menu like a pro, and made the whole experience one we’ll be talking about for a long time. It’s rare to come across someone who clearly takes pride in what they do and delivers with that level of excellence. If he’s not already in upper management, he absolutely should be. He’s the kind of employee that elevates the whole place. Bottom line—fantastic food, unforgettable service. Jordan sealed the deal for us. We’ll definitely be back.

I can’t say enough good things about Blue Steel Pizza Co. This place absolutely exceeded my expectations, and it’s now one of my go-to spots whenever I’m craving amazing pizza and a great dining experience. Let’s start with the food...because wow! The pizza here is absolutely next level. The crust is perfection: crispy on the outside, soft and airy inside, with that amazing caramelized cheese edge that adds the perfect crunch. The sauce is packed with flavor, the cheese is rich and gooey, and every bite is just the right balance of texture and taste. They clearly use high-quality ingredients, and you can taste the difference. I tried the Tiger King pizza, and it was a total standout. Unique, flavorful, and just the right amount of indulgent. I also loved that they have a creative menu with options that go beyond the basics...this isn’t your average pizza place. Whether you’re into classic flavors or something a little more adventurous, there’s something for everyone. Aside from the incredible food, the service was fantastic. The staff was super friendly and welcoming, making sure everything was just right. The vibe here is really cool, great ambiance, fun energy, and a perfect spot for a casual night out. I also loved the Marina Village location, which makes it a great place to grab food before strolling around or making a night of it. Whether you're dining in or grabbing takeout, Blue Steel Pizza Co. is a must-try. I can’t wait to come back and explore more of the menu. If you love great pizza, this is the place to go!

The Pizza was okay. It was not terrible but not the best either. The one pizza 🍕 with only pepperoni and cheese was supposed to be thin crust. That is NOT thin at alllll also doesnt taste homemade the crust taste commercial.

I originally came out to Marina Village just to have some drinks at The Shorely, but now it’s become a tradition — I always grab something from Blue Steel Pizza before I leave. The food is consistently 🔥, and it hits the spot every single time. What makes the experience even better is the service, especially Jordan. Jordan was super friendly, welcoming, and made sure everything was perfect with my order. It’s rare to get that kind of chill but professional energy — he made the vibe feel like more than just a food stop. Definitely the kind of person who leaves a great impression and keeps people coming back

Great, Detroit-style pizza place in Fort Lauderdale! A short walk from the hotel to a fun, cozy, but inviting atmosphere. The area is all open outdoor seating, so order and find a place to sit. Good value. Big pizza. I had the pepperoni and I could not eat it all.

Amazing spot in the marina village, I had the meat ball sub 10/10 very filling and very tasty; since they do make the sauce and the meatballs from scratch.

The service is just so terrible. They seemed bothered that I was ordering something. Two young ladies were just at the front counter talking to each other and on their phones. Didn’t even bother to make eye contact. I told them they didn’t need to heat it up that much because i was eating it now. It was sloppy and piping hot. It was a really bad experience- shame because its a beautiful atmosphere

Stopped in for the first time early on a week day and was not disappointed. They have a great happy hour, and an even better espresso martini (not on happy hour). They play great music, and service was attentive. We ended up staying to check out their Tuesday night comedy and were very impressed. All food ordered was delicious and well made. Prices were excellent. We will definitely be back next Tuesday!
