Lots of seating/ nice ambiance. Great customer service 🙏 Pancakes 🥞 I felt like they needed more fruit or sauce. The syrup provided wasn’t the best. The pancakes were really chewy and very dry. Awesome cafe with surprisingly tasty food! The coffee was pretty good but didn’t stand out. However, the food really impressed me and was a lot better than similar brunch places in the area. I strongly recommend the Athletes breakfast burrito, which was flavorful and not nearly as heavy as a typical burrito. Avocado toast with a side of vegetables was also really tasty. You can tell they care about not just putting out the same old food, and making something health-conscious without sacrificing flavor. I look forward to coming back here and trying the lunch menu!

We had breakfast at this nice place. Multigrain bread is delicious, coffee was okay, I expected a better taste, maybe I am more into stronger flavors. Omelettes were great, but it was a bit sour. In general it was great. Price vs quality was not so even, was a bit expensive for what I expected.

This is my go-to spot for super fresh, delicious and healthy breakfast when I'm not in the mood to cook. The service is always kind, friendly and efficient. Their coffee is so yummy. I highly recommend the soft chili scramble w/avocado, the BL burrito, and the Athlete's burrito...my 3 faves. They are also great for modifications due to dietary restrictions. Grateful to have BL in my neighborhood!

We ate here early on a Sunday morning (so we beat the rush) and had a really nice breakfast. I had a flat white, which was done extremely well. We had the best mates bowl and breakfast bowl (added chicken). Overall both were good, but my favorite was the best mates bowl because it had a little more flavor and the grains base was amazing. It was a little spicy so it might not be the best choice for someone that does not like/tolerate spicy food. The ingredients were fresh, and the food well prepared. We were greeted with a smile and service was good. Would definitely recommend this restaurant, and we will be going back - both for the coffee and the food.

Stopped by on a cold rainy Saturday and was able to get a table for 4 right at lunch time. The place was busy and bustling and the main server was friendly and prompt. It was a little cold inside as all the windows and doors were open while it was pouring rain and cold out, so everyone dining was wearing their coats, but I'd imagine it's delightful on a warm sunny day. We placed our orders via mobile, which was easy and drinks and food came quickly. We had a range of teas, hot chocolate, and chai lattes, and all were good. For food we tried the Warm Chicken and Ancient Grains Bowl, the Rainbow Bowl, and the Best Mates Bowl. All were light, well prepared and presented, and tasted healthy. I had the Best Mates bowl, which had a little spice to it and good combinations of flavors between the farro, brussels sprouts, mushrooms, and feta. It was a nice breakfast/brunch/lunch spot!

This is what brunch in LA is supposed to be. It's an Australian inspired beach restaurant, so maybe I just need to move to Australia for their brunch options. The first thing that caught my eye was a sign with their pumpkin drinks, so had to order a pumpkin spiced latte. (No I'm not basic, it's Fall - get on board). Not only did it look beautiful, but it was delicious. Just the right amount of sweetness, it's basically fall in a cup. For my meal I got the Soft Chili Scramble with Avocado and I added the BBQ Brisket, which was the way to go! It was prepared beautifully and tasted amazing. It's not BBQ like you'd think smothered in sauce, oh no it's like the brisket is infused with BBQ awesomeness. These guys don't skimp on the avocado, you want avocado, oh you got avocado. My boyfriend had a the croissant sandwich which one of the better breakfasts sandwiches I've tasted in a long time. Kudos to the chefs and barista, we will be back.

Being a huge coffee lover, the taste of the coffee matters most to me but I also love when the presentation of my drink looks pretty. Bluestone Lane has some beautiful, colorful matcha drinks that taste as good as they look. I am a sweet coffee girl so I tried their seasonal pumpkin spice latte to really get in the fall spirit and let me tell you, it did not disappoint! The latte had so much flavor and a kick of cinnamon, exactly how I asked for them to make it. The aesthetic is also pleasing with indoor and outdoor seating to enjoy the view, and it's also dog friendly! If you want some delicious aussie coffee that's also instagram worthy, this is the place for you.

Tasty fresh lots of customization options, super friendly staff Free residential parking easy to find nearby all times of the week. They have two large patios out front with umbrellas shading, lots of dogs on patios the drinks are consistent and they are quick with online orders delivery etc. Presentation is always pleasant cute and pretty! They have gluten free vegan options and their app is super easy to order ahead for pickup or delivery They have cute merch as well and their food is based off aussie Cafe styles They have juices smoothies wine as well!

New brunch place for us. I had my iced Mocha & Jen had some hot coffee pumpkin something both were very balanced and well made. Tables are a bit small to hold all the great stuff. I had the simple but perfectly cooked bacon, soft cooked egg, flakey croissant sandwich. Very small spot easily passed by but if you know you know. Everything I had was great and lower price than I'd think for Rose Ave. Not a great remote work spot because of size but date or visit... cozy

This is one my favorite cafe in Venice!! I appreciate the great service from Jeremy and Henry :) they were so hospitable and the vibes here are wonderful! Highly recommend!

Average breakfast spot on Rose, good options & great coffee but nothing outstanding.. Food - enjoyed the lemon ricotta pancakes served in the mini griddle & enjoyed the scrambled eggs as well! Overall everything was pretty average & didn't feel like any dish was too memorable. I did really like the coffee & have been back for that only. Service - you order off of a QR code at the table, pretty busy inside especially on a weekend so didn't interact too much with the staff! Ambiance - indoor & outdoor seating, the outdoor seating on Rose is great. Lots of people seem to enjoy working at the cafe tables. Decent option for breakfast/coffee on Rose in Venice! Didn't feel I had a memorable experience overall and the food did not stand out to me, but did not have a bad experience either & definitely is a good option for a quick & easy breakfast when in the Venice area.

We went on Sunday morning around 930am and there was no wait. They offer a ton of different smoothies and lattes. I only had the breakfast croissant sandwich and it was amazing.

In my experience the food lacks flavor. Service is great and ambiance is nice, but the food leaves a lot to be desired. Coffee selections are vast and interesting. I'd probably go back to grab a coffee, but not food.

The iced mocha latte was delicious. Usually I ask for half the sweetener but it wasn't necessary for this drink as they prepare it with cacao powder. I also ordered the prosciutto + burrata sandwich. The sweet chili jam was a great touch. Forgot to take a picture, but I enjoyed it SO much.

The oatmilk cappuccino was delish. The eggs with herbs and chimmichurri were also good. The 2 men with me ordered 3 eggs scrambled with toast and bacon (basic) but ate it all up so much have been good. P

My friend and I went for breakfast on Sunday, there is no wait. The service was great. The food was fresh and delicious. We ordered green baked eggs which is not in the menu and spicy chicken wrap. The food choice is healthy and tasted great. Love this place.

I love this place! The staff is always super friendly, they the avocado toast is an absolute must! It's an easy place to setup and work at or bring clients for a coffee and chat. I love that they take InKind as payment and can't recommend this place enough!

It's already been 3 times I've been to this place and it's pretty dope, good vibes, good service, monumental food! I have became a regular whenever I go to Venice beach and I want a good brunch lunch type of food.

I've always admired Bluestone Lane's aesthetically pleasing coffee shops, drinks, and food online since I don't live near one, so when I was in Santa Monica for a work trip, I knew I had to stop by. I ordered a vanilla latte and the green baked eggs while my colleague ordered a tea and burrito. At the time, we ordered via our phones and then waited at the table for our food to arrive. It was pretty empty when we came in and left. The food was good and fulfilling and our drinks were just what we wanted. I hope to stop by again the next time I'm in town.

Came to Bluestone lane with a friend for a quick bite for the first time, and I have to say: "I'M IN LOVE!!!" The food is delicious, fresh and their options are definitely unmatched. I had the Avocado Toast with bacon on the side. I also had the pleasure of being helped by Shae(?) She was so friendly and helpful I could tell she really enjoyed being there. Ordered delivery through uber eats. Breakfast burrito was supposed to come with crispy potato wedges. Instead came with French fries you get un the frozen food aisle. Stale and flavorless for $19

We have been coming to this place for years, always loved their friendly attitude and consistent food quality. Usually I also get the Aussie Ice Latte, emmm the creamy ices cream what a brilliant combination. Lemon Ricotta pancakes are about the right portion, not too big but enough to fill up. Love the atmosphere, both indoor and outdoor, love their pet friendly policy. Love the people love the food. Thank you!

'#1 coworking spot in Los Angeles' Okay, okay. This might be a made up award, but Bluestone Lane truly is a vibe. This small cafe hosts a number of fantastic breakfast and brunch items, as well as a full bar, Wifi, coffee, and pastries. The restaurant sits on Rose with a prime view of oncoming traffic and city goers. While the inside is aesthetically decorated, I'm a huge fan of their outdoor patio, which includes their deck with a number of tables, as well as additional street seating during covid. I order my go-to oat milk matcha latte, which was served iced and tasty with no sweetener. For brekkie I got the wrap which was served stuffed with egg whites, tomato, pesto, and avocado. Best part? Their pet friendly. Run, don't walk.

Where to even start with this place. I stumbled on Bluestone in Venice a couple years ago at the height of the pandemic when only outdoor dining was open - I was greeted by the most friendly staff I've seen in the industry and beautiful little beach cafe just a few blocks from the ocean. This little beach coffee shop is an oasis - whether you're having brunch or getting a little work done in between calls, it is just a nice welcoming place with a unique vibe. Not to mention - their aussie espresso is bomb. Oat draught and lattes are a highlight for me, but they also knock it out of the park with their food. The staple is the avocado toast, topped with feta and cracked pepper... so good. For a quick healthy snack they also have surprisingly good smoothies, which I frequent after a workout. Beyond the product, this place makes you really feel like you're a part of the neighborhood, and it's because of the people. You can feel that the staff really care about people - the manager Corey goes out of his way to make you feel welcome (see his latte art in the pic), Hunter always greets you with a smile that turns around even the worst day, Lauren is one of the sweetest people you'll meet, and Woody is both a badass barista and is one of the hardest working people I've known. So grateful to have found this place - I'll be a loyal local for life!

I had a delicious avocado toast - they definitely don't hold back on the amount of avocado they put on it, which I appreciate. I feel they could have used a bit more cheese as it was a bit overpowered by the avocado. The other toppings went well with it and the bread was good. A bit expensive for just one slice, which is why it's not a 5 star review. But I was also impressed with how nice it was, considering I ordered it online.

Bluestone Lane has become my favorite go to coffee chain! I love the fresh taste of their coffee, the iced Aussie latte with vanilla ice cream is a perfect treat! Service is nice, and the drinks were made to order on time pre-ordered with their app. Highly recommended.

Used to love ordering form this place but in the past few months the food has gotten really salty and the quality has gone down. I work down the street and I order from them all the time or used to now I keep asking them for utensils with my food and they never put them in the bag I don't understand why that's so hard for them to understand I had even explained that I pick up my food to eat at work and I don't have utensils at work I spend about 40 to 60 dollars every time I order from here and they can't follow a simple order. This morning I placed my final order and no utensils in the bag. This will be the last time I order from them.

I've been to Australia w/the mister, so I know it doesn't compare, but let's pretend with the healthy eats and yummy lattes! I really love their iced coffee and if I want something sweeter, I get the ice cream latte! It is definitely too sweet for my mister, but I love it! The last time we were here, I ordered the burrito, and there was supposed to be avocado, but I didn't get any! It did come with a side of fries, which I loved. My little one loved them too. We also got the pancakes, which the mister really liked. Cute place for outdoor dining, especially in this climate.

Beautiful atmosphere! Wish we were able to eat here but unfortunately we were told by our waitress with a recommendation to not order food because apparently they were "backed up". She pushed a little too hard with that agenda so we would be pressured to not order and leave the restaurant so they can close early. They were supposed to close at 2pm today, but unfortunately I overheard a conversation with the co-workers scheming to close the doors at 1pm when my family had driven far to celebrate a Christmas meal here. We were not willing to order a meal here with the waitress' attitude totally killing the vibes lol. Also, the chef in the back was not wearing a mask while preparing the food. He even served an order of bacon with his bare hands that a couple people ordered behind their backs. Did I mention his mask was off? Lovely decor though. Merry? Christmas.

Perfect for that gorgeous LA afternoon when you want to get together with friends you haven't seen in months, order some coffee that costs more than most cocktails, then ignore those friends in favor of your phone. Perfect for that. Anything else, it sucks.

My friend and I didnt know when where to go to have lunch, We were walking by Rose Avenue and yep, the lady who was taking orders recommended This amazing and delicious burrito. "Athletes Burrito" its light, and hearty and exquisite, i really recommend this place, my friend had a Breakfast bowl and it was really good.

Ended up stumbling into here over the weekend and had the best experience. Such a cute ambiance and Hunter was so friendly.. overall great service, great coffee, one of my new favorite spots!

Came in for Christmas Eve brunch. The staff was so friendly and seemed happy to be there (despite the holiday!). I like the ease of ordering on the app, yet receiving table service. Not always my favorite, but for fast-casual eats, the concept works. The prices were right and the food was good. Nothing to rave about, but overall a great experience. We had the lemon ricotta pancakes for the table -- be sure to order extra sizurp. I had the veggie brekkie plate and added smoked salmon. Generous portion, lots of salmon and grilled halloumi. My eggs were cooked to perfection!

look man, the breakfast burrito has taken the number one spot (cue the music) as being the most delicious and well priced burrito in venice. why? because it was made with love. that shit was so good and fueled the rest of my ride home very nicely.

Food and drinks are always really good! The food feels fresh, healthy and filling. I've tried a variety of their bowls and they are always great. You order by scanning at the table so there's not much interaction with the staff. They do bring the food out to your table and are always friendly though.

I really enjoyed my vanilla, flat white. The coffee is strong, but really balanced. We ended up getting donuts at sidecar, which was a really great pairing with this coffee.

Good coffee, typical Venice service. And by that I mean a young, kind of LA-hipster annoying barista, if that description resonates with anyone. The current ordering set up is right under a speaker blasting music so he could barely hear me and I was yelling. Why was the music so loud? No idea. I ordered an iced coffee and he rang up a latte. I asked him to repeat the order (because I couldn't hear a thing) and he rang up an iced latte. When I said I wanted iced coffee he realized I meant the cold brew and suggested that saying iced coffee is confusing for them. I explained that I thought a latte is espresso and cold brew is coffee? And he said there's various kinds of coffee so when most people say iced coffee they mean a latte. And then I thought to myself, why are we still talking about this? Let's get that cold brew pouring brah. Their coffee is always consistent between their locations. Not my fave in LA but always a good cup. If you can deal with a "cool" barista telling you how to order. Will only be back if I'm physically walking by! ‍

Grabbed breakfast here with some friends after a 5k race in Santa Monica. I got the breakfast toast with egg, bacon, micro-greens, avocado, mushrooms, tomatoes, and side of kale. The greens were a little salty, but the fresh bread and tomatoes were great. We also ordered coffee which came in a glass carafe/bottle with no handle (LOL); it was naturally pretty hot - be careful! We really loved being able to order and pay separately from the table via QR code. My friends got the breakfast burrito and breakfast bowl and both if those looked tasty as well. I'd stop back in to try those!

I totally recommend to try out the food at this place. It was my first time at this place, and I got what I was looking for, new dishes to try out. I only live 3blocks away and didn't know I was missing the best food. Friendly staff, great service, good vibes, etc.. Now you can order ahead through the app they provide you once you arrive.

This place needs a wakeup or shakeup. Every single time I stop by it's like the staff is too busy hanging out to acknowledge customers. Cheery looking spot with good coffee drinks, but the service is a dealbreaker. Lately I've taken to passing by and grabbing a breakfast sammie from nearby Flake and a flat white from Blue Bottle on AK.

I have never written a review in my life but today I felt the need to do so because I was humiliated by one of your workers. I came in to order food and she treated me as if I couldn't afford to eat there and wasn't good enough. I had full intentions of ordering as it was my first time coming to your establishment. I was very excited to try it out but after that I will never step foot back in again. The young lady was rude, vulgar, condescending and degrading. I hope next time she comes across someone who is in everyday work attire she doesn't immediately go and base their worth off of their appearance.

Venice local here with family in Australia- go figure. They are kind, food is bomb... the banter was deafening -a employee was yelling, or speaking very very very loud. Personally we could not have a conversation in this place with out a insert of their bro commentary in a yelling tone. "What your favorite movie to a"regular" a customer, he was really overtly loud grunt grunt ...sorority yell i felt like bros bonds slash WWF club I dunno I felt like I was in a SNL skit so that made it more pleasant took a bite of yummy lemon pancakes and almost choked when he started to scream very obnoxiously over to a customer outside having a full on conversation. I truly was so baffled it continued the entire hour and 40 mins we were there. I was with my husband and I badly yearned for noise canceling headphones. While waiting for our bill the people who came in 10 min after us .... Got their bill promptly, we had to ask our server please get us our bill got in at 7:10 am left by 8:50 only 4tables had people. Try again Mayb. In the future, Thank you.

A very cute little cafe/location. The ambience is great and the servers are extremely friendly! A cool place to work. Food wasn't too bad. Matcha latte was delicious!

I've always had great service when I go to this place. The cashier who helps me out is consistently friendly and has a great attitude. I also love the coffee. I normally just get an iced caffé latte with almond milk and it hits the spot every time. Price wise it's not that bad in my opinion. They have two sizes for iced drinks (16 oz & 20 oz) and a 20 oz iced latte is around $7 which is fair when you consider the norm at other LA coffee shops is $7+ for a 16 oz. drink. Plus the store is just adorable and cozy. Love this place!

We sat down for a late breakfast a few weeks ago at this quaint little Cafe. The outdoor seating was full, and we were really hungry, so we took a table inside. Excellent food! Fresh, mindful, organic. So many varieties of lattes, organic teas ( try the lemongrass & ginger) cold brews, nitro brews, just excellent! We enjoyed our meal and recommend.
