We came here after going to a special exhibit at the Legion of Honor, what a treat! I loved the decor with dark paint and gold/brass lamps in this warm cafe'. I had the Green Dream with grilled Zucchini, whipped ricotta with lemon zest, pesto and pistachio, mmmmmmm... Flavors dancing on my tongue! The service was friendly and quick. This will become a regular lunch spot when going to the Legion of Honor.

41st and Balboa isn’t exactly a destination in SF but I am glad I made a special trip to check out CVC. I loved the bandiera chicken pesto sandwich and was glad the server talked me into the chocolate chip banana bread. They did something to the butter to make it taste so good. Maybe lemon?

We had an absolutely lovely experience at Boa’s this morning! The interior is warm and inviting, with great seating options- both tables and bar seats. Each table feels like your own personal little nook, extra sweet when there’s sunshine streaming through the large windows, and the bar seats are great too. Makes you want to stay awhile! Probably not ideal to eat in with a big group (more than 4 people), but you could get items to go enjoy in Golden Gate Park. The food was excellent, honestly can’t wait to dine there again and try more of the menu. Egg frittata sandwich was pillowy and so flavorful, didn’t want it to end. Fruit toast (mango, pineapple, kiwi) with lemon ricotta and a sprinkle of basil was an absolute dream. The food was too yummy to snap a pic before digging in! Staff were friendly & fun also. So excited about this wonderful addition to Balboa street, highly recommend stopping in for food and a beverage any time of day :)

Delicious hand-pulled espresso drinks! Banana cake was very good. I would also like to see a crispy cookie option to enjoy with coffee. We loved the house-baked bread in the Godfather Sandwich, filled with quality Italian meats and veggies. Caesar’s salad was good but dressing could use a bit more anchovies. Beautifully decorated space with friendly staff. Very happy to see this addition in the neighborhood. Thanks, we’ll be back.

OMG LOVE this place!! The bread they use for the sandwiches (and I think everything else?) is insanely good. My friend and I split the Godfather and Chicken Caesar sandwiches which were both to die for!!! We also got the Nutella toast for fun which was so decadent and rich, yum! The atmosphere is super cute too, cozy chic cafe, first come first serve and order at register. Water is available, I also got the chai latte with oat milk to drink which was great! Amazing service, will be coming back again FOR SURE!!

I have tried the Caesar Salad, it was really good, dressing was so tasty and the Little Gem was crisp and fresh. Looking forward to try their sandwiches. Cute little corner spot in our neighborhood.

Google
Such a cute place, and the food was delicious. Why is this place not packed? Get here before it’s “discovered”! The Godfather was one of the best Italian sub variants I’ve had in a while.

Very cute cafe with local neighborhood vibes. Small breakfast menu, but the food we got was delicious, as was the coffee. Good for friends, families, a date, take out or dine in. Friendly staff - can’t wait to come back.

Yelp
What a wonderful new add to the Outer Richmond! Boa's has been long awaited by my family who was eager to have a restaurant with Italian offerings within walking distance and we were not disappointed! The interior is sleek and modern with a beautiful bar for single diners and although the space itself is on the cozier side, I think its perfect for a date night. That said, we went with our young daughter and they are very accommodative to families as well. I will have to try their coffee and baked goods! Onto the food - which is top notch! Their flour for the breads are imported from Italy and they bake everything fresh daily. High quality flour from Italy is heaven sent for those with mild gluten sensitivities. Bruschetta - the bread is to die for and the tomatoes were super fresh and flavorful. A great way to prep the tastebuds for what is to come. Margarita Pizza - this 12inch pie was a marvel. Slightly thicker crust than a true Neapolitan style pizza with the perfect ratio of sauce to crust to cheese. Chicken Pesto Sandwich - pulled white meat chicken, pesto, cheese, tomato and arugula wrapped in their homemade bread. Excellent combo. We were really happy with our dinner and just wished the portions were bigger because everything was so tasty. Can't wait to come back. In short, I highly recommend and hope they do well in our neighborhood! Support small businesses!

Yelp
I love this sweet little cafe! My husband and I live just a few blocks away and were excited about the possibility of a new place to walk to. We have only had their coffee so far but their food looks amazing too. The coffee prices are very reasonable. I am happy that I can stop in for a latte a few times a week and not feel like I'm breaking the bank. I love that it's both a cafe and a restaurant. You can have a full, light meal, or just hang out with a cup of coffee and read, work or hang out with a friend. The ambience is really cozy, warm and inviting. We walked in on New Years Eve for wine and hot chocolate and talked with Ramsey behind the bar. The service is great. I'm so happy they are in the 'hood and can't wait to try more of their offerings!

Yelp
Boa's is a great new spot near Ocean Beach which opened up this week. It's just a short 10-minute walk away. It's this corner store with lots of natural light and inviting decor. It seemed like a perfect spot to relax and enjoy some coffee so I decided to give it a try. Coffee was good. They source their beans from 11th Hour in Santa Cruz so they don't have their own brand of roastery. I also tried their chocolate chip banana bread, which was super tasty and paired well with the coffee. Their menu seems to focus on Italian (inspired) salads and sandwiches, and while I didn't try those this time, they looked pretty good. I'll definitely be back to check them out. For now, I'd give them a solid 4/5 for coffee and snacks, it's not the best coffee in SF, but it's still really good. Combined with the vibe, service, location, and food options, I'd say this place is worth a visit. Looking forward to coming back!

Yelp
I've been waiting for this place to open since last year and they finally did! There is minimal signage at Boa's so you may just walk right by them. Cafe is clean and the wood benches are pretty nice. I ordered a mocha and banana bread to go. Service was friendly. Mocha was done right. They said they will be rolling out lunch service in a couple of days. Can't wait!

Yelp
Beautiful location in the neighborhood and very chill and relaxing space. Great place to bring friends, or work, or hangout. The Taglio salad was amazing!

Yelp
We were their first food customers I've been waiting for this place to open up on the block for a while. We got the godfather and chicken caesar. The sandwich stood out it's a unique flavor with high quality ingredients. Excited to try the other stuff on their menu!

Yelp
Great addition to the neighborhood located in the old CVC shop. Delicious sandwiches and salads with homemade bread. I haven't tried the pizza yet but have had two tasty sandwiches and a perfect light salad. A healthy breakfast, lunch, and dinner spot with that lighter California menu is just what we needed on this side of the park.

Yelp
As a local living 1 block away, It's great to have such a wonderful coffee shop in the Outer Richmond. The toast and banana bread were lovely, and the coffee was very good. It is a perfect place to get some work done and have food and coffee with friends and family! The staff were very nice. They are also open until 8pm! Highly recommend!
