Took my friends and myself out to eat New Years Eve expecting great Sushi for me and one of my friends and the other two ordered other items. We had for the Sushi; my friend had the Titanic and Monkey rolls while I had Crouching Tiger and Hidden Dragon rolls. The others ordered Mapo Tofu, Shrimp Chowmein and green beans. Our appetizers were potstickers and spring rolls. The potstickers were mushy and bland the dipping sauce was average, the spring rolls tasted off and the sauce for it was sour and left my tongue feeling fuzzy after eating the sauce. My Sushi rolls were really warm and had no tooth when eating them it was again mushy, I've never had Sushi that didn't taste fresh but my Sushi New Years Eve didn't taste fresh but was frozen longer than it should have. I know fish needs to be kept cold after being frozen too keep stability in the flesh because freezing damages fish. The staff working where absolutely awesome and we all sat in the upstairs area and the use of the elevator to get to our table was great for those of my friends who need access. The art and atmosphere all throughout the restaurant is worth it. I'll just have to try something different if I do go back.

Wonderful place to eat, great food, plus there's a robot!

This is my new favorite place to eat!!! Came for the calamari and heard the sushi was “the best,” did NOT DISAPPOINT!!! Wonderful sauces and flavors. The hidden dragon roll is SO CUTE and SO GOOD!!! Absolutely delicious flavor combinations and textures. GINORMOUS selection of tasty foods and sushi, I’ll spend several more visits just trying things out!!! Great seating and seating choices, everything was immaculate and there’s these ADORABLE robots that deliver the food to your table! Food was served incredibly fast, too! From start to finish, I loved the experience and the food!!!

Had an amazing dinner here. Ordered a bunch of different sushi rolls and Asian cuisines. Also got some sashimi and a couple seafood dishes. My favorite is their sashimi, such thick slices and super fresh!

The dining experience is by far one of the best in Sonoma County. I had the chance of experiencing an omakase meal with chef Louis he was amazing! Everything I had was unique and delicious! Each dish was beautifully plated with precision flavors were bursting with every bite! I will be sure to come back!

Fantastic Japanese style sit down restaurant with a full bar and service delivery robot to reduce human contact during our pandemic times! Took Dad there, again this year, for his 78th birthday. Service was fabulous and our waitress even brought out our birthday cake, lit our candles, and helped us sing "Happy Birthday" for our celebration. I ate at Boathouse Asian Eatery with my family this weekend. The ambiance is nice & bright. I'd say their food was delicious too! Not wave worthy but definitely asian-approved. I had a party of 4 and we ordered the following: Tacolicious (2 Orders), Hidden dragon, Wok tossed green beans, Korean short ribs, Shaken beef, Sweet and sour spare ribs, and Beef chow fun. Of all the items, I really enjoyed the shaken beef. Super tender! Everything else was pretty good and our waiter was outstanding, I believe his name is Miles. He was attentive and checked in with us frequently while balancing all of his tables during a busy night. Had a nice experience & would definitely come back to try other items!

A great addition to the Graton Casino and the variety of restaurants in the food court area. I think most people would agree that they typically don't go to a casino for an ultimate dining experience; However, Boathouse Asian Eatery did not disappoint. The soup came out fast and was better than some Vietnamese restaurants I've visited. Maybe I'll actually consider going to Graton just for pho haha.

While killing time waiting for the Mother-in-Law to gamble we decided to have some Sushi at this spot. We are going to Japan for the first time in October and have been trying various Japanese experiences before our trip. For Sushi, we decided on a couple of pieces of torched tuna, Ebi, Tamago and torched Wagyu. I have had Wagyu at a few different restaurants but never really got what all the fuss was about. We really liked the torched Tuna. We tried Sashimi at a Sushi place in Paso a few months ago but weren't really into it. So I guess we need our Sushi at least cooked a little bit. People say you can judge a Sushi place by it's Tamago, which is why we got it here. Honestly, I can't really say much about it as this was my first time trying Tamago. It was egg. That's about all I can say. The Wagyu here though was very good. Probably because it is supposed to be A5 grade. I finally got the experience that people say, "it melts in your mouth." Service here was pretty good. I ordered the Lychee Martini but it was WAY too sweet for my taste. Total girly drink. One cool thing about this place is they have a little robot that goes around the restaurant dropping off dishes. I've seen these kinds of things at restaurants in Japan but this was the first time I saw one here. It even had a screen with a little cat face on it. Very cute. Good spot for Sushi at Graton before or after your gambling sesh.

Amazing menu ! Sit comfortably either upstairs , at the bar , or tables. Every dish a treat, has never disappointed !

The service was very fast and really good. The food was good and there were some items you don't see at a typical sushi restaurant. The portions were also very big. However, the price does not fit the price. It's food sushi charged at inflated rates. I would come back but would order a lot less.

We got a sashimi boat and it was ok for 150 We got uni one and 6 small oysters, yellow tail, tuna, a couple different peaces of white fish, salmon 4 peaces of each type. Tempura not good at all Sake ok Service, friendly We also ordered saba and it was cold

after a few hours of gambling, we decided to eat at boathouse asian eatery. the menu was extensive and so much to choose from. they had a ton of sushi options, chinese dishes, a page full of drink specialties, etc. order consisted of: jalapeño poppers $13 chicken chow fun $20 walnut prawns $21 butter fried wings $19 shaken beef $29 chocolate espresso martini $15 pineapple mojito $14 my pineapple mojito was delicious that i had to order another. my friends espresso martini was amazing to her as well. food was pretty darn good. nothing was greasy but a little on the salty side. i would eat here again ... this place sure does best bistro 101. i do have to add service was not great. the older blond haired lady was not the nicest. it truly felt like was over her day and wanted to get get the hell out of there. oh and your food is sent out via robot but place expects 20% or more tip. get the heck out of here.

Not a great experience. We often visit Rohnert Park for business. Made a reservation for 10, then immediately called back to advise it might only be 5-8. Reservation was secured with a credit card, but no other terms or conditions were provided. When we arrived, we informed the hostess we would be 4-5 and asked for a smaller table downstairs. She refused and insisted we stay at the large table upstairs. The menu highlights multiple crab items, but none of them are actually crab. They are fake "krab" (Pollock and food dye), and nowhere on the menu is this disclosed. No asterisk, no clarification. Misleading, at best. Thirty minutes into our meal, the manager approached and announced he would have to charge us $50 per empty seat (six total). I stated that I was not informed of that policy, and made the reservations on speakerphone, which my colleagues attested to. I also further advised that we had called and also informed the hostess upon arrival that we would be a much smaller party of 4-5. The hostess insisted we were sat at the table for 10 when we preferred a smaller table and asked for one. Instead of addressing this reasonably, the manger proceeded to stand over us and then crouch next to the table, lecturing us for five minutes--during a business meeting. He scolded, admonished, and warned us about "next time." (There will not be a next time.) He acted as though we should be grateful that he "decided not to charge us" in a restaurant that wasn't even full on a Saturday night. If my card had been charged for so-called "no shows," it would have been disputed and charged back immediately. The biggest mistake, however, was this: he chose to threaten and harass me in front of business colleagues, in the middle of our meeting. That crossed the line. I bit my tongue, but it took everything not to walk out on the spot. And yes, we noticed--had our group been men, I suspect the treatment would have been very different. After finally leaving us alone, the focus of our meeting was ruined and shifted to discussing the manager's behavior. We left feeling harassed, embarrassed, and unimpressed--both with the food (fake krab) and with the service. Our waiter was fine, even though he got a drink order wrong; he corrected it immediately. Never again. Congratulations on alienating a professional group of 60 people who meet monthly in Rohnert Park. They will hear about this experience, especially the colleague who recommended your restaurant.

Overall the food is delicious! Only down side about this place is that 9:45pm is last call. 9:50 pm you will not be able to order food cuz the kitchen closes, plus they have also messed up and forgotten to give me my order before. Which is fine I guess since the foods delicious

My husband and I have been meaning to check this place out for the longest time. I think one of the reasons we haven't yet is neither of us care for seafood. Thankfully we found plenty on the menu that suited us. We ordered the pork potstickers, wok tossed green beans with a white garlic sauce, combination chow mein (sans the shrimp), and the sweet and sour spare ribs (apparently this was just added to the menu). The potstickers came out first, and quickly. They were smallish but the filling was very tasty, they were pan fried nicely, and the dipping sauce was super good. Next came the rest of our food. The green beans were cooked well, not mushy but not overly crunchy, and the sauce was good however it was a bit bland. I would have liked a lot more garlic. The chow mein was good, it came with beef and chicken which were both tender and flavorful. My husband said he thought the noodles were a bit bland and I agree, though just slightly. The sweet and sour sauce on the spare ribs was really delicious- not your typical dyed red sweet and sour you get in typical Chinese restaurants. For the ribs themselves, some were nice and meaty while others were fatty and had a lot of gristle/cartilage which I feel is to be expected with pork ribs. On the whole though, I really enjoyed that dish. But be sure to ask for extra napkins if you get this dish, there's really no elegant way to eat them, you just have to get messy and use your hands. Our server was Elijah, he was very knowledgeable and polite, and made some great recommendations. He even went as far as to go back and ask the chef a question for us. They did have a robot delivering some of the dishes (our chow mein came to the table that way) but I didn't feel neglected in any kind of way. Elijah made sure we were taken care of throughout the meal. I thoroughly enjoyed our meal and I would happily return.

My wife and I went to Boathouse Sushi for dinner. We had the pot stickers as an app. Wok tossed green beans in white garlic sauce, combination chow mien and the sweet and sour spare ribs. The food and atmosphere was great. The service was excellent. Our server Elijah was very nice and attentive. I'd recommend this place and we will be going back.

Service, it's important to me other than the food. Here they are always so kind and attentive to their customers whether you're seated or at the bar. The food is great I like the Chowfun, Kung Pao and short rib dish. Happy hour is very good they have a variety of different things in the menu. The Tacoliscious, Jalapeño bomb and Coconut shrimp is a good starter appetizer to share with friends. The atmosphere is nice you can even Alejo's the games there.

The food is great, drinks are good, staff is friendly. The menu is large and offers both expensive and mid priced options. For me, two people usually runs about $60 for a shared entree, app, and two drinks. I love the garlic noodles.

Food here like always is amazing! Great place to get some deliciousness if you find yourself at the casino! My honey and I always eat different things when we come here. The hand rolls are my absolute favorite so I had to get some as a main entrée for myself! We also had ordered miso soup, BBQ oysters and a sushi roll but I didn't get any pictures of that! Service could have been better in my opinion. After we finished a few dishes they were almost piling up on our table and no one would clear them. They were focusing on empty tables, but in my opinion the people who are there are more important than empty tables, as dishes keep coming about and there's no room for them because we have dirty dishes that need to be cleared off! I mean they have robots who bring the food, it would be cool if they cleared the table also Overall the ambience is very chill and casual! Definitely food makes up for the service we received this day.

This place never disappoints. The clam soup is a must along with scallop fried rice. Everything is so flavorful!

Haven't disappointed yet with the restaurant. Every time when we are here , we look forward to eat here . The service was great and they are very attentive. The restaurant is nice and clean .

Celebrated my mom's bday for the 4th of July, and what a great choice. Good food, I had no issues. Authentic flavors. It was delicious. Food surprisingly came fast too. It was great. I recommend, and I would def come back. Service was fast, and that robot was sooo cool. Wave of the future. ;) Ambiance had a nice dim light setting, so it def set the mood. Lots of seating, with 2 floors. Perfect for bigger groups.

Boathouse is a great Sushi Place inside the casino. I went here with. Large group for a friend's birthday dinner. We all left happy. The sushi is good and the servers were friendly. I would definitely come back here

Was in the area and a friend asked me to check it out. The menu looks so delicious. The chef premium sashimi plate was $49...nothing premium...salmon, tuna, seared tuna, hamachi and a white fish that taste and smell horrible, what a joke! The biggest joke was the o-toro, looks like it's been sitting in the freezer for awhile. $22 for paper thin slice of premium fish, and it was badly cut! It was a disaster, the only good thing was my cold beer! Everything was over priced! My bill came out to $151, they should have given me a shot of 151! Very disappointed that an acclaimed Executive chef LKH, really question the chef credentials and his team.

This place is ok atmosphere wise, we sat upstairs. The wait staff is point on, they were so friendly especially our waiter tonight. The food was spectacular, this place gives me no reason to drive to SF to eat Asian foods any longer. This will be my go to spot. We also ordered hamachi sashimi, I was hungry no photo sorry. The fish was fresh, loved it. The price for the food is same thing like SF, why would anyone bother driving to SF for authentic Chinese food. I have no reason any longer. I used to live in SF, I haven't been to any Asian restaurants out here since I believe it wouldn't be authentic. However hands down this place is. I am so happy to have found my new joint. I will be a regular here.

Boathouse restaurant @ Graton Casino Two nights in a row, I went to the Boathouse restaurant at Graton Casino and ordered their Duck and a side of rice. After paying $ 29.11, what I got were 9 scrap pieces of duck. In addition, I was quoted a 30 minute wait, came back in twice and after 90 minutes asked again and then they fired my food. The 2nd night I took my "less than acceptable order" back in and asked for a refund. Handing it back to the Manager (disinterested woman w/glasses) and opened the container of "old duck w/ mainly bones". Told her, I paid $ 29 for these scraps, you should be embarrassed! " The Drumstick had zero meat on it, no breast pieces, no thigh pieces? All bones! On top of that, I was quoted a 30 wait and waited 90 minutes. The Manager, who gave me a disheartened and disinterested apology did refund my money. The people working at their Expo/To-go station are exceptional. Engaging, professional and they hustle. Worst case of "Shrinkflation" , Bad service, Poor Value, Bad quality in the last year. . . And I eat out everyday. Quite honestly, this is an example of all the poor and (getting worse) Food operations at Graton Casino. Their Steakhouse and all the food operations in the Marketplace (Food court) have been bad and getting worse, except for their Starbucks, which have good team members and make good drinks. Guess Graton figures they have a captive audience, so they can serve "high priced garbage" and get away with it?

3 stars because this place is Expensive! Really not worth the price unless you want to celebrate an occasion. The prices were much lower before and has significantly increased. But the food portion is the same. Robot server is cool to see, it's pretty inside. But will definitely not return due to the prices. Short ribs for $29?! Fried rice for $20?! Chowfun for $22? Totally ridiculous. I can save my appetite for tastier Asian cuisine and wallet elsewhere. I'd suggest you save yours too!

Pretty cool restaurant. Boathouse is located inside the Graton Casino. They have robots that deliver the food to your table which is kind of neat. My parents had been here before and they wanted me to try it out. I got to try the California Crunch Roll and a Philadelphia Roll which were both ok. Not a bad food option at Graton.

I ordered sushi and sashimi. The fish was like soggy and fell apart. The portio. We're terribly small and tasteless. I titled consergie and was told the fish was fresh but I know better. I do not recommend this restaurant, the food court food was way better. I really don't recommend this restaurant.

We came here to wait until traffic died down on our way back to San Francisco. It was a pretty emptt restaurant. 2 stars - mainly for service. Our waitress was friendly and our food was brought to us very quickly! Unfortunately, no stars for the quality of the food. The california rolls were eh. I was highly disappointed with the shrimp fried rice. There was no flavor and I have no idea why there was cherry tomatoes. I have never seen that in fried rice dishes before. It was also an incredibly small serving for 20$. I was also disappointed to find that the utensils were a little dirty (see pictures) :(

Known for being family style servings and focusing on a fusion of Vietnamese, Chinese, & Japanese cuisine- I really came here with high hopes. Dinner was a vast variety of Boathouse Asian Eatery's offerings: -Pan Seared Potstickers -Beef Chow Fun -Combination Chow Mein -Walnut Prawns -Bok Choy & Mushrooms -Dragon Sushi Roll -Tuna Poke Salad x2 Best item of the night was the Bok Choy & Mushroom. Walnut prawns were good and there wasn't any complaints when it came to the sushi roll. BUT!!!! the potstickers, chow fun, & chow mein were a let down. Biggest fail was the 2 orders of tuna poke salad purchased-fish was flavorless, was not fresh, and the dressing was simply soy sauce [SALTY AF!!] 2 stars and that's me being generous. Absent quality & small portions is how I would describe this restaurant!! If that's the type of thing you like... by all means, enjoy yourself some Boathouse Asian Eatery.

This eatery is located in Graton Casino. It's a pretty posh establishment with a large bar and a mix of Asian entrees which include Japanese, Chinese, and Thai. The food was smashin' good and filling. We had the following: * shrimp and vegetable tempura * green beans with XO sauce (huge portion--can be shared between 2-4 people) * Iron pot salmon OMG! Soooo yummy! What was weird is that a"Kelly Bot" delivered it to our table (robot). We did t know what to do so we took our plates off the machine and hit "done" on the robot and it left our table, so I assume we did it right.

A great sushi spot located right in Graton Casino! We just arrived at the casino and we're starving so we decided to check this spot out! We were seated in about 5 minutes and got our food super quickly. The food was delicious and my favorite was the jalapeño sake sashimi!

I don't understand the good reviews. These people must not know good food. So many issues here. To start off the utensils were extremely dirty. We had to exchange them multiple times. The forks were disgusting. Then my hubby ordered the crab seafood soup. The ladle that came with the soup, not only appeared dirty, but it literally had old crusted food on it . Oh, and the seafood crab soup literally had not even a minuscule amount of crab in it. O Toro seemed a very off color and texture. Must've been frozen a while or something. Not fresh . This place is a total rip off and very very disgusting. The barbecue oysters were also disgusting. Literally wasted $300.. go to the food court at Graton much better food for a much better price. I'll give this place one star for our waiter. Service was decent and it's not his fault this place sucks . Never again .

Remember when this was Martin Yan's restaurant? Well, the new owners have kept some of that ambiance. Highly recommend the happy hour Mon-Fri. The drinks are solid and foods are delicious & vibrant. The seaweed salad is overly salty though. Check out the robot server, so cool and no resting b*tch face (RBF) lol. Not saying the waitstaff had RBF's, they were all on point. From the hostess to waitresses, everyone was accommodating, especially to my mother who's blind. They allowed her to sit in a booth, knowing the stools at the bar would be extremely difficult. Now, that's customer service & ADA awareness! The robot just added to the fun atmosphere. Definitely a romantic place for date night(s). Although, the property doesn't allow adults under 21 years old, your teenager can still dine at this restaurant. Mom really enjoyed our time together, since she can't drive anymore. Staff are nice. They have those robot servers, fun:). My favorite here is fried rice I love some good fried rice with shrimps and this places makes it good. I like it. Another things that I obsolutely love here is their lava cake ice cream. Yummm. What I didn't like here is ushi rolls. They cost alot and flavor is not good. But will stop by for some fried rice and lava cake ice cream when I'm in the area:).

Overall I felt like the food was just ok but the service (eventually) was excellent. We came in on a busy, rainy Sunday evening and asked if they could seat the three of us. He offered us seating at the bar, which was completely empty, but we chose to add our name to the wait list on the screen. It's a very insecure system. The screen has remembered everyone who has ever put their name onto the list. Considering this restaurant's location, you'd think they would be conscious of a risk like this. A server came by and saw that there were three of us waiting. She said she needed to clean a table that just became available and we could have it. That is good service. We tried several rice dishes, such as the kimchi fried rice, and the mapo tofu. I found all of the meat strange. The Trumpzilla roll was ok, but I think it's hard to mess that up if you are using decent quality fish. Our server was very attentive throughout our meal and helpful in checking what oysters were available. She provided good service among an otherwise lackluster dining experience.

It took a very long while to get seated but we did. Our server was pretty quick to get our drink orders which gave us time to figure out what we wanted. Hubby and I got the crispy crab edamame salad and a dragon roll. We both enjoyed the salad but felt the dragon roll was not very flavorful. The wasabi helped for me though. I got to try a pot sticker and those were really good. The portions were good and it was enough for hubby and I to get through time gambling while waiting for the rest of the crew so we could all drive home.

3.5 rounded up to 4 During a recent visit to Graton we chose this place on a whim for Happy Hour. The last time we were here it was still M.Y. China so it's been a LONG time. Some of the decor seemed familiar so they may have kept some of the old decor. Either way it's aesthetically pleasing and created a nice ambience. I will note there was a party or event upstairs that day and was very loud (is it for private events?) which did take away from the nice ambience a bit. Since we were only here for Happy Hour we didn't have the full experience but still had a good time. The complaints I noticed in other reviews about flavorless food and/or poor service didn't apply to us. From the moment we stepped in - we were greeted enthusiastically and seated at the bar. The bartender was all smiles and friendly - drinks came out promptly and she checked on us a few times. Also, it was my first time seeing a robot waiter in person and I LOVED it. The robot didn't serve us since we were at the bar but it was fun watching it roll around serving other customers. The robot's eyes were super expressive and made these funny noises - very amusing. The Happy Hour menu had a limited selection of small bites and cocktail options. I ordered the Tacolicious tacos ($4) and while they were very tiny, it still packed a punch and full of flavor. We also had a Geisha Goddess cocktail ($10) and a beer (I think an IPA?) on tap. The cocktail was refreshing and super strong - no skimping on the alcohol here! Another customer asked the staff if they could switch on the Giants doubleheader game that was on and they happily did it for her. We were getting ready to leave but stayed longer to catch some of the game. SCORE! If I was back in the area, I would consider trying them out for a full meal. Prices are on the higher end but feels like a good spot for a celebration or a nice meal for date night. The restaurant is inside a relatively nice casino so in my opinion, "cheap eats" shouldn't be expected here (or you could just go to the food court which really isn't that much cheaper). I recommend stopping by for Happy Hour if you don't want to break the bank - a welcomed change from typical Happy Hour foods of sliders, wings, and fries.

We ordered takeout here on a Wednesday night for dinner around 6:35pm. It's located inside Graton Casino, which was quite busy that day. We ordered 2 Dragon Rolls ($34), 1 California Roll ($8), and 1 Apple Tart ($7). That dragon roll is basically $17 per roll! Luckily, we had a reward so it was basically free for us, but if we didn't have a reward then we wouldn't have ordered it. Anyways, when I saw my dragon roll, it looked a lot smaller than most dragon rolls. The California roll was a typical size though. At least both sushi rolls were very good, but I don't think the dragon roll should be $17 since it's so small. My apple tart was a bit on the dry side, but perfect in sweetness so I'm still happy with that purchase. I'd recommend this place if you want to splurge a bit. It makes sense for everything to be pricier since it's located inside a casino. Everything tasted good, but the small size of the dragon roll was disappointing. Oh and they charge you $1 for the takeout packaging too!

The reason it's not a 5 is the size of the sushi, Tiny. Probably smallest nigiri portions I've ever had in my life. Kid bite size. And the rolls were delicious but thinner than at normal sushi restaurants. The rest was good though. Not impressed with robot delivery to the table.

This is my second time here and I was just as disappointed as the first time... doubt this 2.5 rating restaurant cares about my review. The food court was full so we decided to eat here. Arrived at 6:00pm. Seats were filled. Wait time about 5-10 mins. A long line started to form after us. Seated at 6:10pm. Finished by 7:00pm. 「 ORDERED | VERDICT 」 1. Assorted Sashimi | $40 | (4.5/5) : 15 pc chef's selection. 3 pieces each. Fresh. Nicely sliced. Little more effort on the presentation would've been nice. 2. Korean Short Ribs | $25 | (3.5/5) : Kalbi was OK. A bit too salty. Meat was not tender at all. Tough to bite and chew. 3. Salted Fish Fried Rice | $16 | (2/5) : Okay, I know this dish is supposed to be salty, but chef, you can't let the salt be the main ingredient of the fried rice!!! I've had this dish many times before, but NEVER this salty. Holy crap. So salty that I wanted to cry. Yes, salted cod can be a little salty, but seems like they seasoned the whole bowl of rice with salt... - Total: $100 with gratuity - 「 EXPERIENCE 」 Not the best dining experience. Sat down and no one bothered to check in with us. Staff who served us looked like she was new to the job. I don't blame her. I totally understand. I was in her place once. But her colleague on the other hand... I have to call her out. Wish I noted down her name (glasses, hair in bun, seablue highlights) .. but she was totally unprofessional. I don't know what's going on but it looked like she was being the biggest brat to the newbie(?). She was yelling for her across the room.. I'm guessing she mistakenly put down orders for the wrong table and caused some confusion.. therefore that girl came up hella irritated and started confronting her about her mistake. Mind you, this "conversation" happened right behind us. And of course being the confused customer, I was starring at her because of how disrespectful she was acting towards the employee and to us. The new girl kindly asked if she can help her make a quick correction, but the other girl gives her an attitude and says "no".... It's okay to point out people's mistake so they don't do it the next time, but the way she handled the situation, it kind of pissed me off the whole night. Hey.. I could be totally wrong with my side of the story.. I saw what I saw. Another thing I wanted to point out, first 2 dishes came to our table pretty quickly, but we had to wait another 10-15 mins for our rice to come. Totally defeats the purpose of getting a base for our meal. The other table who came in and ordered after us had all their dishes ready on their table and their fried rice... but where's ours? We had a great dinner while gambling on Monday night. Of course the robot cats that deliver the food were very fun for us to watch. The food and drinks were very tasty. I would definitely go there again.

We had a great meal at the Boathouse, but what really stood out was the service. We sat in the bar area by the TV's at the high tops. Almost immediately we were approached by Deanna, who greeted us with a warm smile. She seemed very relaxed and NOT pushy, offering to get us beverages and menus. We ordered and asked for a couple suggestions. Deanna knew the menu well, and gave us a few ideas. One thing we really appreciate is our sashimi sliced thinner. We asked for an order our way. We've had mixed results at other restaurants when we do that. But she made sure it was served perfectly for us. We asked for a creative and unique roll. Deanna said, "Let me have the Chef come to your table." What amazing service! We thanked her and waited only a very short time. We then we approached by Chef Nico. He didn't call himself that, but based on his knowledge and insights, we knew this guy knows his stuff! He asked our preferences and what we like, making sure to ask if we liked spicy our milder dishes. I'm afraid our answers were all over the place. But Nico somehow gathered enough information to say, "Let me get creative for you. I'll be right back with your roll." He was back in a few minutes and offered us a fantastic roll. How he figured what we wanted from our answers was amazing. Chef Nico was engaging, patient and knowledgeable. Deanna kept the beverages coming and provided A+ service. Great job Boathouse, and thank you for a great meal.
