Out-of-towners show up throughout the day, grabbing seats on diner-style stools to peel back the five layers of paper surrounding the carefully crafted Italian beef. It’s constructed with bread that (mostly) holds up despite being dipped, stuffed with super thin slices of well-cooked beef, and topped with a pungent giardiniera.
