"Bombo Italian Kitchen is an all-day Ethan Stowell restaurant located inside the newly remodeled Seattle Convention Center, and they serve food comparable to a mediocre room service spread. And we’re all about room service, but only when it’s delivered bedside while using the hotel robe as a napkin. The pasta dishes here are disappointing, like a beef cheek lasagna with stringy meat that gets stuck in your teeth, and a bland butter and sage tagliarini that a toddler probably wouldn't even touch. And the Italian sub salad, with an entire Subway topping inventory thrown in, is fine, but uninteresting. The pizzas, on the other hand, are more promising. We like the Bombo pizza with crispy soppressata, even though hot honey does a lot of the heavy lifting. We’d come here as a last resort to grab a pizza after being stuck inside the Convention Center all day, but other than that, you won’t miss anything if you stay away." - Kayla Sager-Riley

I recently visited this Italian restaurant and, unfortunately, I left feeling quite disappointed. To start, the service was lackluster; the employees didn't seem like they wanted to be there and were not particularly attentive or welcoming. The overall atmosphere felt uninviting as a result. As for the food, it was okay but nothing to write home about. The dishes were very greasy, and the flavor was just average. However, what really caught me off guard was the surprise gratuity charge. My meal of potato and meatballs went from around $25 to $32, and this extra fee wasn't mentioned anywhere until I received the bill. It felt like an unfair surprise. Overall, there are likely better Italian dining options out there that offer both better service and more transparency about their pricing.

TERRIBLE TERRIBLE Experience! I feel like I was duped, hustled, bamboozled!!! Externally the restaurant is gorgeous! I wanted to show my wife a good time and take her to a nice restaurant. This place was a bad idea. The appetizer chips were burned, hard, and seasonless. I tried to make the best of it and stay positive to impress my wife. For $30, she ordered some non-seasoned, meatless, tasteless noodles dish. For $30, I ordered a tasteless and burned lasagna. The optics of the lasagna are beautiful. It looks delicious.. Upon 1st bite, I can hear Dave Chappelle saying, "Gotcha Sucker!" The Sangria is watered down, I've had better long Islands ice teas at Applebee's. The wine was yuck! The water was warm... and to top it off, we had a 22% gratuity added. I'll be contacting management for a refund.

Honestly very upset about my time here. To start the waitress was not attentive at all and seemed like she would rather do anything but serve us and the doors were open the entire time even though it was cold outside. The food was alright, pretty greasy but not bad. What really threw me off though was that they applied a 22% dine in charge to our bill, I understand auto gratuity with large tables and think that is fair but we were a quiet table of 3 people and were in and out in probably 30 minutes due to the bad atmosphere. I feel like this place knows they’re getting tipped regardless and uses that as an excuse to treat their customers poorly, would not come here again or recommend it to anyone, there are definitely better places to go.

Food was delicious and large portions. Not greasy and seasoned perfectly. My husband is a pizza snob and he was very impressed with the crust and sauce to topping ratio. The cocktails were simply to live for! The bartender was willing to share the contents of the cocktail that wasn't yet on the menu. Our server, Ximena, was so attentive (without being intrusive), funny, very knowledgeable about all the beverages and food, and had us laughing and at the end we wanted to hug her and call her our new friend! We will definitely be back on our next visit to Seattle.

The food was good but not the best. I had the gnocchi and it was delicious but the crab in it was a bit off. The server first gave us room temperature water without any ice so that was weird. There were two of us but the server still gave us our cocktails after we had already gotten our food, even though there weren’t that many people. I usually tip well if the service is great but this wasn’t all that special but they have a DINE IN SERVICE CHARGE of 22% that they did not mention so that was annoying.

The food is good here, they use quality ingredients and you're going to get a flavorful plate. It isn't authentic Italian pizza, the dough is thin crust. A few issues I have are that the prices are too high; the pizzas are dripping in grease; and the service is not reliable, it takes long, and it's hard to get the attention of the staff. Having said that, it's by far the best food option at a convention center I've ever had.

Crazy I didn't even know that the convention center added a new beautiful building and to have a restaurant attached is a brilliant idea. I believe the hostess told us that the whole place seated 280 people. Good spot if you're going to a show at the paramount theater. I wouldn't say this was the best food but the convenience was great since we were going to a show. The service was slow bringing out the food. They forgot a glass of wine as well but brought it out right when we mentioned it. The server was extremely nice. Let's talk about the food. It was just kind of blah and not loads of flavor which was disappointing. The pasta noddles were a bit under cooked and not a lot of crab within the dish. The Wagyu Beef Carpaccio was the best thing we got. The salad had a little too much dressing on it. The pizza was just average and again not much flavor. The drinks were good. When you spend an average of $25 per plate I expect happiness in my mouth! It's not bad but not fav and I would go back for the convenience of being so close to the theatre. The portion sizes were a little less for the price too. For 3 people we spent over $65 per person. 4 dishes and 3 drinks. Again great service but slow with the food coming out. It was a busy night though! Oh one last thought I was so excited to have meatballs with my meal and it wasn’t even on the menu and I was shocked since it was an Italian restaurant.

We stopped in for a drink and a snack last night. At first the waitress was nice. We ordered the avocado crab dip. Cold and flavorless for 21 dollars. We sent it back and got the focaccia bread which was really good. Waitress was replaced by another person during this. The pepperoni type pizza we ordered was the worst pizza I have ever had! We each picked at one piece but server asked if we were all done and just took it away without a word about it. Then to top it all off a 22% is charged without a choice or a heads up. Criminal! I see manager comments about it’s a new fair practice for employees to get their fair share. Not if the servers are entitled to it and do not need to do a good job!
