"Want to introduce the kids (or yourself) to Korean cuisine? Start with something familiar: fried chicken. Bonchon, with multiple locations across DFW, is a great place to start. It’s the crispy, savory chicken kids love, plus sauces and sides that will expand their palettes in a family-friendly fast casual dining environment." - Courtney E. Smith

"Beloved Korean fried chicken chain Bonchon is making its way back to DFW with plans to relocate its headquarters to Dallas and open multiple new restaurants across the metroplex. The chain is known for its shatteringly crispy fried chicken wings that are served in spicy or soy-garlic sauce, paired with steamed buns, seasoned fries, and classic Korean banchan dishes like cole slaw and pickled radish. Bonchon currently operates one location in The Colony, which opened in 2016, and had previously operated an outpost on Greenville Avenue in 2013." - Amy McCarthy

This was a togo order. I ordered the 6 piece mix in Korean BBQ (2 drumsticks and 4 wings) and plain fries. First off, the drumsticks were huge and very juicy. The wings were very crispy. I did like the sauce, but I would ask for a little extra sauce. The taste was good, just a bit subtle. Unfortunately for my taste, the fries are breaded and I wasn't too crazy about them. The restaurant was clean, and the person up front was very friendly. Make sure you grab napkins before heading out. Luckily, I had some in the car. I'll definitely be back to try their other flavors.

Friendly staff, quick service, reasonable prices. I just had Korean fried chicken for the first time. The batter was crispy and light and not at all greasy. The sauces were delicious. I got kimchi as my side and I was given a generous portion. I will definitely be back for more.

The manager was so nice and full of smiles the food was hot and fresh! (Note to owners or HQ: I would like to see you award and praise these hard workers for doing their best! Also send in trainers to all the locations and make sure the food flavors are consistent and everyone continues to follow the Bonchon franchise process! Best wishes & success to your business! "Don't forget... make sure you award your employees 🏆 👍 "

Came here for the first time, we ordered the bulgogi bibimbap, spicy potstickers, and the Korean fried chicken. The bibimbap came out first and all the veggies were cold, the bulgogi beef was barely hot, and the rice was room temp. The fried chicken and potstickers took a while to come out, so by the time the rest of the order came out we were already expecting the rest of the food to be cold or room temp. The chicken was good, but not piping hot as you would expect. Overall I would not come back here when there are other places that do Korean fried chicken and bibimbaps so much better and fresher.

Edited review - this was awful and I don’t know what happened here. I ordered the same thing I always do, it took over 20 min to make, but it was cold. Additionally, the boneless wings were TINY. And finally they were not cooked all the way through, see attached pics. For 20 bucks this was a complete tragedy. Original post: Love everything about this place - just eat it

I went here for the first time with my friends we got drumstick ,wings, corn , dumplings and fries with drinks we both paid separately and it equaled out to 40ish each. The chicken was very crispy and I really love the flavors that they have the corn however was a little sad 🥹 I would honestly just go there for the crispy chicken

Best chicken leg I've ever had. Crispy and juicy! Soy garlic pairs perfectly with the daicon radish as a palate cleanser. I want to try some other dishes and tenders next. Highly recommend.

Gives Korean Fried Chicken a BAD NAME. I’ve eaten Korean fried chicken many times in Oklahoma and California. They taste very differently than standard fried chicken wings, better than Buffalo Wild Wings. Yet the Bonchon fried chickens taste much worse than even Buffalo Wild Wings in Oklahoma. So if you want real Korean fried chicken, go elsewhere. Now that’s the actual food. The service and atmosphere were fantastic. They were extremely friendly and nice. But I can’t recommend the food.
