Korean Fried Chicken Takes Flight in National City - Eater San Diego

"Global brand Bonchon opens its second outpost in the San Diego area and its 22nd location overall in California this Wednesday, July 15 when the famous Korean fried chicken chain rolls out its latest shop in National City’s Bay Plaza Shopping Center. Per the current dining restriction, Bonchon will launch first with takeout and delivery and postpone its grand opening celebration until dine-in service is reinstated." - Candice Woo

Ordered pick up from this location, we have been here multiple times before and, I don’t think it has ever disappointed. However this time I’m unsure if the quality or the kind of chicken that was used for the boneless wings (half soy and half spicy) it was horrible. I feel like McDonald’s has better chicken, I believe like ground chicken is being used now vs the regular chicken from before. I even had to just eat around the chicken to get some flavor, it was very disappointing. Everything else we ordered did not taste different, we got the pickled radish and bulgogi fried from rice. I included a photo below. I was very frustrated since we spent our money for not even good quality and definitely ruined our night.

Google
Chicken was good. Rice was hard needs improvement. Shrimp siomai was disappointing. Bulgogi Dish & fried Zucchini was okay. Service definitely needs improvement . Some of the menu you see online is not available at the store. Would only comeback for the chicken to-go.

Google
Fantastic wings! So flavourful - tried the soy flavoured as well as the yang yum sauce - so good!! Quick and efficient service - perfect if you are looking for a quick bite to eat

We dined in at 6PM on a Thursday with only one other table with people at it, but it took about 35-40 minutes to get just a plate of 12 boneless chicken pieces. With just the two parties in the dining room, the staff seemed confused and unable to handle the empty store. We had our order taken twice by two different waitresses while they kept asking each other which party sat at which table. They came back to ask about our orders again 20 minutes later, and dropped off the wrong beverages at a different point. It boggles my mind that with the combined brain power of two waitresses, they never figured out how to serve two different tables in an empty restaurant. Other than asking the two tables multiple times about the same two orders, they abandoned us. No refills on water until we demanded it, no updates on the 40 minute wait for our order, and we were left wondering what was going on. At some point, one of the waitresses rushed in through the front door and was yelling at the cook that they had run out of noodles at the Asian market next door. It seems that they don't order and prep for food service ahead of time. This store seems under prepared for everything. Empty containers and food line the hallway, stacked on the ground in a haphazard manner. The food was also disappointing. The boneless chicken had the same consistency as McDonald's nuggets, with mashed goop in a fried shell casing. It looks just like the cheap Tyson chicken meat balls that you can buy at Walmart, but they added breading and fried them. It's not real chicken meat, but the processed kind where they blend together different body parts and form it into a ball. I ordered two flavors. Half my plate was room temperature, the other half piping hot. But the only thing with flavor was the sauce, and that wasn't an impressive flavor either. You could buy the sauce from any store, drizzle a line across those Tyson chicken nuggets, and get the same flavor as what they're charging $18 for at this place. But if make it at home, you won't get the awful service. How do you take 40 minutes for chicken nuggets? How confuse two parties in an empty store so many times? This place is a disaster.

If you're craving some seriously mouthwatering Korean fried chicken, look no further than Bonchon! From the moment I walked in, I knew I was in for a treat. The fried rice was nothing short of amazing--perfectly cooked, packed with flavor, and just the right amount of seasoning. It was the ideal start to an incredible meal. Now, let's talk about the kimchi. Traditional, spicy, and packed with that authentic kick that really takes it to the next level. It's hands down my favorite kimchi I've had in ages! And speaking of favorites, the coleslaw was absolutely to die for. The tangy vinegar and black pepper profile was so refreshing and unique, it completely stole the show for me. Seriously, it might be the best I've ever had. But let's get to the main event: the wings. Oh my goodness, the wings! Crispy, juicy, and perfectly seasoned--they're by far the best I've ever had. We went with the ginger soy and traditional Korean BBQ sauces, and both were absolutely phenomenal. The ginger soy had that sweet and savory balance, while the Korean BBQ was just the right amount of smoky and tangy. Each bite was a perfect burst of flavor. Bonchon is a true gem if you're looking for incredible Korean flavors that are both comforting and exciting. I can't recommend it enough!

Google
Very friendly service with very tasty Korean inspired dishes, especially their chicken wings. The soy garlic is one of our favorites, though if you want a bit of spice you can go with the Korean BBQ sauce (my youngest son's favorite). The house fried rice is also sweet and flavorful, and the pork belly in the pork belly bao buns is very tender. This location is smaller than the one in Kearny Mesa, so it can be a bit crowded, and the parking lot spaces are very full, and depending on the time of day you may have to park a little far as the parking lot services a lot of very busy establishments like Seafood City. Definitely recommend for grabbing lunch with family and friends.

Google
I love wings and I love Korean wings especially. I came to bonchon because my friend told me they have great bulgogi items. The waiter also recommended to us the wings are thier specialty! So we ordered a dozen wings. Half spicy and half regular. They were so good ! Came with 4 giants drums and the rest were regular size. Man they were some of the best wings we have ever had. Crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. We also got bulgogi fries and bulgogi tacos which were also good ! The fried rice was some of the best fried rice I have ever had! Definitely coming back here to try some other item on the menu !

Google
Very good fried chicken wings. Korean tacos very good as well. Music... well, it's bad and too loud. Tables are sticky. Will return most likely. PLEASE do something with that terrible music!

Yelp
The wait can be kind of long here because the inside is pretty small. The chicken is worth the wait. The skin is super crispy. I personally love the soy garlic flavor because the spicy can be a bit too spicy at times. I typically choose the coleslaw over the radish. Their seasoned fries are a must!

Yelp
Bon chon has delicious Korean fried chicken. We always get the soy garlic wings. They are never dry. My kids always need an order of fries and my older kid loves the bulgogi fries. We also order shumai but to be honest it taste like those previously frozen ones you buy at the store. Maybe we like it because of the honey mustard dipping sauce it comes with We end our meal with the Korean donut. It's definitely the closest thing to Leonard's malasadas (Hawaii thing). Granted it's in the shape of a twist donut. But it's just so light and fluffy. If you have never tried Korean fried chicken I recommend bon chon. It's clean, great customer service, and good food

Yelp
The restaurant is clean and bright. Parking can be a challenge at times. This Korean fried chicken style restaurant has a variety of dishes. We loved their lunch specials with wings. Their fried rice and bimbimbap rich dish is delicious with bulgogi. Their wings are perfectly crispy and flavorful. The service was friendly and helpful.

Yelp
This will definitely be the only Bon chon I go to when I'm in the area. It's always clean. The wings are always on point. I came here a few times for lunch, this place has really good service and food. The workers are always polite and welcoming. I always get the lunch spicy combos wings with rice, they come out tender, crispy and spicy. So delicious!! Sometimes I get another order to save for later, and it'll still taste good and not dry out or get hard. The sauce is spot on here. This one is the best Bonchon so far, I really like coming to this location. Parking is easy too. Bonus, there's milk tea and desserts in the same area you can go to after.

Yelp
I absolutely love the chicken wings here! The spice a lot but it burns so good. The flavor is amazing and so is the garlic soy one. Stars here is very friendly and service is great. The ambiance is very relaxing and not too overwhelming!

Yelp
Unfortunately customer service was complete opposite then our first visit. Maybe she was new and still learning the ropes but, it was just not good! Our order of fried rice went to a different table. Then when she realized it was the wrong table (minutes later as she had returned to the kitchen to pick up other orders) because that party brought it to her attention they never ordered fried rice. Then she took the fried rice off their table and brought it to ours and insured us it wasn't touched by the other party! VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!! After inspecting the rice, it did seem untouched but, my first thought was to reject all together as it sat at another table for some time. First visit we were given small plates and a bucket for our trash or bones. This time...received neither and had to ask for it. Food was still amazing! It was service this time that made my review go from a 5star to 3star

Yelp
Happy to have a place like Bonchon in the area! They have some great flavorful food. I have been a couple times now and every dish is flavorful and well proportioned. All the staff is really nice but sometimes they can be a little slow bringing you any condiments, refills or take out boxes. They have some lunch specials too!

Yelp
February, 2024 Update: We decided to eat at Bonchon instead of having it delivered this time and had a fantastic experience. The service was friendly and efficient and the food was fantastic as always. Tonight we tried the Yangnyeom sauce along with the Spicy strips. We also shared Strawberry Soju between us which was absolutely delicious.

Yelp
I was craving Bonchon for my birthday yesterday but couldn't leave the house so I ordered online and sent my son to pick it up. I've eaten at the one on Convoy and loved it. I ordered the bulgogi tacos and 20-piece half Soy Garlic/ Korean BBQ along with a side of coleslaw. Absolutely delicious. The only thing I couldn't find was the Kimchi Coleslaw I had at the Convoy one. I was looking forward to it. Their food is ALWAYS freshly made and so good. I could eat their wings everyday.
google avatar

Jasam C.

Yelp
I've been here a few times, with friends and coworkers. The food is good. I usually order their wings and fries. Service is great. The place is nice and clean. I will keep coming here.
google avatar

Sepi A.

Yelp
This is the BEST fried chicken you'll ever have! The restaurant is super casual and service is excellent. Everyone needs to try the chicken at least once... it's amazing and so crispy. The Convoy and National City locations are both great.
google avatar

Yelp
TASTY chicken for a decent price. Service is whatever tho. Parking here is horrible idk why they always pick locations that have bad parking
google avatar

Ramona A.

Yelp
Although the chicken is bomb, I will say it's super salty and you need rice to balance it out. We came on a Sunday for lunch and unfortunately they only do lunch specials M-F. It's also very pricey for their food but it is worth it. The spicy is very spicy so be aware! The parking here is rough, be prepared to circle around a few times before you can find a spot. Also they only do military discounts on Wednesdays!

Yelp
I called in for a to go order after working from La jolla, they said it will be ready in 15 mins, the drive there was 20 mins, I even went and do some grocery in seafood city right next to it to give them an ample time to prepare for my order, went in and paid for my order and they said "it's not ready yet and will be out for a few minutes" . Waited for another 30 mins because they said they dont know what happened to my order. I would understand if they were busy but there was only 2 customers inside. WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT! MAKE IT MAKE SENSE. They offer me a free soda as a complimentary for patiently waiting but too furious and tired to take it

Yelp
I love BONCHON, I first had it in the Philippines, then in VA, and here in National City. I fell in love with the wings the first time I had them, and ever since that's been the only thing I get. My order: -10pc wing half&half (half soy garlic/half spicy soy garlic) -Kimchi Bacon House Fried Rice And if I'm really hungry I'll get an order of the -fried Shrimp Shumai. This location is very cute inside but also very SMALL! I wish it hey could expand or relocate to a bigger location. The ambience and aesthetic are cool and calm to the wondering eye. The service was great, nothing less then exceptional. We received quality customer service from the employees, and I claim it to be the best Bonchon experience I've ever had. I definitely would eat here everyday but the way my bank account is set up... Overall rating: 8.5 of 10.

Yelp
We've tried several Korean chicken but always come back to Bonchon. Their wings used to be "regular" size but the past visits looks like chick's wings...

Yelp
Crispy Chicken Wings and Drumsticks (tried Half and Half, then all Spicy), Japchae, Pork Buns, Pickled Radish, Tteokbokki, and Kimchi Pretty dang yummy! The Korean fried chicken is certainly the highlight of this place. Wonderfully crispy, super flavorful batter with tender chicken, it was almost as good as what I remember the fried chicken in Korea to taste like. The pork buns were super yummy too. Japchae good but a little heavy with lots of beef. Tteokbokki was a little too spicy and not as fluffy and soft as it should be, but still good. Pickled Radish and kimchi were great and refreshing. I ordered delivery from this place twice in a week!

Yelp
9/3/23 @1440 Fried chicken strip was horrible! SUPER SALTY. It's like eating a bag of salt! HORRIBLE! The server saw it was not touched and we didn't want to take it home- that's how horrible it was!. The server went inside and when she came back-- they won't take it off the bill ( WTF) .They can only replace it. We just asked for plain strips. Bibimbap bulgogi was really bland. The bulgogi was average. The coleslaw kimchi made me nauseated! Kimchi was good. The seasoned fries was okay. The Takoyaki was good. Servers were nice. DO WE COME BACK? Naaahhhh- oh maybe for the Takoyaki.
google avatar

Farhana S.

Yelp
Loved the food & environment. Better than expected . It became my favorite spot. Thank you
google avatar

Edgar G.

Yelp
AMAZING! Drumsticks are my favorite. Love the Korean bbq flavor. Can't go wrong with radish or slaw. I've only taken out. Foods ready in 10 min. Ambiance is cool. It's clean inside, smells clean, lots of cuties with booties.
google avatar

Amelea J.

Yelp
I would eat here again. Got everything delivered to my building. Fries and chicken was still Crispy. The spicy chicken is actually spicy. The bimbop (spellcheck) bowl was fire and the radish is bomb. The kimchee is a miss for me though. It hasn't fermented all the way or something.

Yelp
This place has delicious Korean chicken! It's a cute spot at National City and I'm glad we have a yummy Korean chicken spot here down south. We ordered quite a few things and all of it was a hit! Customer service was good overall and the fam and I will be back!
google avatar

Yelp
The food was great, service was fast...definitely will come back. The server always checkbon us

Yelp
Love this place! Beats KFC! Best tasting soy-garlic fried chicken and coleslaw! Friendly guy today when I picked up my order!

Yelp
EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTING FOOD AND EVEN WORSE CUSTOMER SERVICE. When a manager named Jimmy asks "if you don't taste anything, you should get a Covid test," you shouldn't have high hopes for their food... (My workplace conducts free weekly Covid tests for employees so I 100% do not have Covid per my test results 2 days ago.) This is my first visit to this BonChon, but I've been to other locations in Norcal and Convoy so I know what type of quality I should be getting. Today, I picked up an order for the Half and Half Strips (10 pc). I noticed that the chicken had the same color despite ordering different sauces and the exterior looked dry/not coated. I took a bite of each chicken and I honestly could not tell the difference between the two chickens. In addition to the bland/light flavor, the chicken itself was a bit dry/overcooked. I called the restaurant and provided the manager, Jimmy, with a picture of my order. Initially, Jimmy stated that I can get a refund but I would have to come into the restaurant with my card for a refund. HOWEVER, they called back again in ~15 minutes saying they will NOT be able to refund me. Jimmy stated that they reviewed the image again and decided that there was sauce coated on my order and that the best he can do for me is a discount for a future order. Please review the images yourself to see if you think the chicken was properly coated!! I tried to explain that my chicken looks different from other yelp reviews at the same store (see attached image). But the manager continues to state that the best he can do is a discount. Then he proceeds to say "if you don't taste anything, you should get a Covid test." I work from home most of the time but I have access to free Covid tests from work so I can confidently say that I am Negative for Covid per my results 2 days ago. (And these are not rapid antigen tests.) Not all BonChons are equal. And this location is the worst I've been to. I highly HIGHLY recommend not going to this location!
google avatar

Cezar S.

Yelp
Service is great. Food is good. Those wings was different from others. Tteobokki, that was my first time trying it which was good and my wife said the same about it. Greeted by staff once you walk in and tells you to sit wherever you want. Great place to grub.
google avatar

Jhenny B.

Yelp
Let me just start off by saying, thank you for opening one closer to our location! If you're a San Diego native, you already know you need to drive to the Clairemont-Convoy area to get delicious Asian food. And the parking and service there is usually horrid, everywhere you go. So you guys moving down south is such a plus for us. Your service is great. I made a phone order and the employee was super friendly. I love when you call a restaurant and they're patient, informative, and provide awesome service. Even when I came in to grab my order the cashier offered extra sauces, utensils and gave me to go boxes. The family meal is big! Although we ordered it for only two adults and a baby. We had plenty left over. Not only was the food crunchy, delicious and flavorful, the portions were generous. I have tried other items from their other location in Clairemont and I've always been pleased. I can't wait to give the rest of the local menu a try. Definitely stop in if you're in the National City area!
google avatar

Yelp
OMG if you have not visited this place in your lifetime you have done yourself a great disservice. The food here is so good I would have sex with it (metaphorically speaking of course). The fried chicken is so good that any true southerner would be able to slap his mama and get away with it. Heck, I'd slap somebody else's mama to have this restaurant in my city back east. 5 Stars is not enough of a rating. It's just amaze-balls.

Yelp
THE CHICKEN 10/10 - soy garlic and spicy Stop reading and just order the food! I love the combo 10 wings and 5 legs 1/2 spicy and 1/2 soy garlic all delicious

Yelp
They deleted my last review!! NEVER AGAIN COMING TO THIS SHIT HOLE! UNTIL THEY WORK ON CUSTOMER SERVICES TO USE COMMON SENSE Rude customer service with attitude when you expose them! I went to order food in PERSON which was almost 60$ So I use my card, I signed, and w.e...few mins after I leave I notice my card is missing "No problem I'll call to ask if they have it" So I called and I let the cashier know and she HANGS UP ON ME!! I call again upset but the same tone that I used before and she was able to hear me? She had said before "I didn't hear you" in a rude way! I go back already upset and the OTHER cashier didn't even know about me calling? Is there no damn communication in this place with all the cashiers??? I was heated, that the cashier went and got her manager to give me my card that she forgot to give me and ended up apologizing Never again coming to this place until I see some changes

Yelp
Saw this place when shopping at the seafood market next door and just had to try them out. Opted for the combo wings (half & half) and also ordered the Kimchi fried rice with pork belly/bacon. All items very delicious and great customer service. For sure will return when in National City

Yelp
Bonchon for lunch-eon? Yes please! I don't know why I waited so long to try this place but finally did this week for lunch. Well technically I ordered through grub hub since I was busy doing things at home and was craving for some Korean fried chicken soooo bad! Ordered 10 pc chicken wings half soy garlic and half spicy. Was kinda bummed they only had 3 flavors which was plain original, spicy, or soy garlic. I got the 10 pc half soy garlic and half spicy and Omg these were so good! First of all the chicken wings were a pretty good size and were soo friggin crispy. The flavor of the soy garlic and spicy was on point too. Although the spicy could've been wayyyyy more spicier, it had a good flavor to it. I'd definitely try this place out again but just wished they had more flavors to choose from because their wings are fire!
google avatar

Lis T.

Yelp
First time had this was in Philippines. Was super excited that San Diego opened up a spot. Best fried chicken ever! Now I can go anytime I visit San Diego and don't have to wait until if go to Philippines (cuz I have no idea when that will be). Open a spot in Hilo Hawaii and I'd be there once a week.

Yelp
Wings are always delicious! I've never been inside to eat but the service is great when we order ahead.

Yelp
This review is specifically for the server Daisy, if she's working it's best to just order take out if she's even paying attention. Im a regular and the first time I met her was like November-ish and it seemed like her first day and she forgot a lot so I let it slide. But time after time she just sucks. As a server myself she was not attentive at all. It was such a slow day that there was only two tables in the whole place. I asked for a new rag because the tables were sticky and she said the spray and rag is just like that...? Like why can't you get a new rag and a different spray? She told me to move to a different table. We ordered a sprite at the beginning of our order and didn't get it. Then at the end eating our food we asked for it and she gave it with attitude with only the can when it's usually served with cup of ice. Then went straight to her phone behind the counter. I watched her fix her hair THREE times before taking a guys order waiting at the table for awhile. I asked for water and she only filled mine and didn't do the rest of the table and went straight back to her phone. A lady walked up and waited at the counter for a bit while she was hiding in the kitchen talking to other workers. When we first walked in there was a table just left dirty and stayed that way even as we left.

Yelp
Good food very convenient when you're lazy to cook dinner. The chicken was dry and got smaller though.

Yelp
Stop what you're doing. Get in line. Order that Korean chicken. I've had all kinds of Korean chicken in my 24 years of life, but theres just something about the Soy Garlic Chicken Bonchon has that makes you remember what happiness feels like. Located in National City right next to Seafood City (good luck finding near by parking, this lot is usually full), is bonchon's establishment. The inside of this restaurant is very group friendly, with booths and big tables around without feeling too tight. I got to order takeout here with my boyfriends mom one day and we went all in. We got the Soy Garlic Chicken wings, the jap chae noodles, side raddish, and we even ordered the Spicy chicken wings. The wait wasn't too bad and the workers were quite friendly. Once it was time to grab the food and sit at the table, My mouth was already watering. Mouth drop. The crunch, the flavor, the juicy delicacy of a chicken wing. Bonchon is currently the best Korean chicken I've ever tasted. Kudos to you, Bonchon.

Yelp
Almost a perfect 5 but this is our first time here i think we need to try more food before going all out. The food was tasty ana the sizes were perfect. we ordered the fried rice and the bulgogi .... my bf is picky a he actually liked it.... he really wanted the chili oil but they had siracha so no biggie there. Place was clean ana staff was friendly and I heard the chicken is good so i will try that next!

Yelp
The fried chicken here has the best texture ever. So crispy and good! Beware- the spicy is SPICY though. Maybe I was weak that night?- but man. I did enjoy the honey garlic a lot though. The wings are large and have a lot of meat. So good. We also ordered the dumplings- they were cold and not that good, so we will probably pass on those next time. The service was quick and everyone was friendly. We will be back again!

Yelp
Service was great and Food was delicious!! I enjoyed the sweet yet savory flavors of the chicken!! The ambiance of the restaurant was very casual! I'd def go back again!!

Yelp
sad to say i was less than impressed. I've been to the Bonchon by my home (north county location) and it was fabulous...but there was almost nothing i liked about this place. i ordered for pickup...there was no place to park or safely stop...that was stressful i ordered a lunch special with 1/2 garlic & 1/2 spicy. all the chicken was WAY overcooked ...hard as a rock. i ended up throwing it all away and since i only have a 30 min lunch break I couldn't go back and ask for a new entree. one plus was that they seemed nice when i called to ask where to park. ...they didn't really have an answer but they were at least nice. no way ..nope...i would never ever ever come back here. and waste my time or money on such a horrible meal.

Yelp
UPDATE 4/19/21 I woke up with a massive headache. I had to Google Bonchon's ingredients. Yesterday I asked the waiter if they cooked with MSG and he flat out replied "NO." Well guess what? Everything we ate, according to a Google menu did, indeed have MSG in it. Consumer beware! Usually restaurants who do not cook with MSG will have that disclaimer all over their menu. It's a plus for many. I found that odd that it was nowhere to be seen. Mono sodium Glutamate enhances the flavor and comes in many brand names, like Ajinimoto or Accent. For me and my Husband, it causes joint pain and massive headaches. I am sadly disappointed as I feel I was lied to. I will not discount the grade of 5 stars but feel Consumers need to know. I am posting a screen shot of their menu and it's ingredients. 4/18/21 Covid friendly dine in restaurant! The two people running the show here tonight were spectacular! Sunday night at about 5 pm. They asked us to step outside to take our temperatures. We were able to dine in which was crazy good. These people waited on us hand and foot! Hubby went to ask for forks (not good with chopsticks) Tue gentleman said he would bring it to the table. He did. Easily, he could've handed the forks over the counter, but with professionalism, he brought us everything we needed. Food was amazing. Garlic chicken and spicy both ! Love the Japchae! Fried rice was ok. Not great but ok. Service earns them 5 stars. I love this little restaurant and from now on will come to eat when we visit Seafood City. Thank you for one of our first time dining in, since this pandemic.

Yelp
Excited to have a piece of Convoy District in the Filipino Village of National City!!! Covid guidelines are respected with only one takeout order taken inside at a time by masked staff. I tried the lunch special of the signature spicy chicken strips, which saved me $4 compared to the regular entree. It comes 2 less strips with than the regular entree. The strips are HUGE chunks of chicken tenders so much that I finished the meal in two sittings! It was spicy enough, although I wish the strips were brushed with a little more sauce. I get it though because the batter is so thin that more sauce would make the strips soggy. True to what the staff member said about the spicy level being a 7 out of 12. I didn't think it was super spicy but more on the mild side, but take that from someone who eats spicy food weekly. I look forward to trying the fiery spicy chicken outside of lunch hours, since it's not an option for lunch specials. I can't wait to try the Bull Dak next time as it's their spiciest dish. I definitely recommend this place if you're looking for spicy Korean cuisine!!!

Yelp
I've had Bonchon from this location three times-- twice through GrubHub and once by ordering via Yelp and picking up. The food has not disappointed, but the last time we ordered chicken (this past weekend), the chicken was so small. Some of the drumsticks were the same size as my thumbs, if I'm going to be honest. The chicken, both soy garlic and spicy, are rich in flavor and fried perfectly. They have not missed any of the times, except for the size the most recent time. The regular fries are soggy and bland, the onion rings are crisp and delicious (though there is more batter and barely any onion, which is the case a lot of the time), and the seasoned fries are tasty. The lack of crisp in the seasoned fries are made up by the parsley, parmesan and other add-ons. It was close to $25 for a small 10-piece signature fried chicken, and the free side (we chose coleslaw), and seasoned fries. The fries were about $8, which is pretty pricey. The chicken was so small, but ~$16 for 10 pieces isn't too bad, generally speaking. It was a small portion though-- considering my boyfriend and I finished everything and were still hungry, when typically 5 pieces each was enough (because of how big they used to be). The cashier was very nice and bubbly when we picked up the food, though!

Yelp
COVID REVIEW: Everyone was wearing mask and practicing social distancing. Out door seating and take away are available. Customer service was great. The young lady at the register was very friendly and extremely helpful. Our first time here and she definitely helped us making our order. We order the Signature Chicken combo (15 pieces, a mixture of wings and drumsticks). We did half of each sauce. The spicy one being our favorite. We did an order of potstickers, as well half and half with the sauces. Lastly, we ordered seasoned French fries. We ended up paying $48 for everything. Everything tasted and was seasoned to perfection. We will definitely be coming back.

Yelp
This place is my new hang out in National city. If I crave Asian food, I know where I'll be coming. They are a little pricey but the food is good.

Yelp
Love this fried chicken! We always get the soy garlic (not into spicy). Also love their picked radish that pairs well with the chicken. The staff is always nice and pleasant. Place is small so we always get the chicken to-go. It is clean and they have korean shows on tv which adds to the ambiance.
