"This spinoff by two-star chef Jean-Yves Schillinger is located next to the Lauch River in the heart of Little Venice. The menu allows the chef to express his creativity in recipes that blend Asian traditions with local Alsace produce. Carrots roasted in hay, herby snail fritters and salted kumquats, or pollock with pumpkin purée, maki of vegetables and yuzu gel. Contemporary decor." - Michelin Inspector

Wonderful meal on a beautiful terrase. They were great with kids and had a children menu (which was still nicely plated and made them feel like part of the celebration). Very good wine list.

Wonderful experience dining here. The wait staff were incredible and very polite. Great bottle of Reisling set the tone. The food was delicate and well prepared. Great experience

Excellent dinner, very reasonable in pricing. Enjoyed all dishes. We also stayed at their guesthouse: excellent location, nice and comfortable apartment with a welcome cake, fruits, water, tea and coffee. We will come back!

Our first time at Bord’eau will not be our last! Everything was fantastic. We speak a little French and engaged with the staff as much as we could but when we struggled they flawlessly switched to English. And were so kind about it! They thanked us for trying to speak French 😊 The dinner, start to finish, was one of the best we’ve had. We had the panko crusted eggplant starter. My husband had the beef filet & I had the fish (filet maigre) and both were divine! The wine recommendation was impeccable to accompany our meal. We finished the night with dessert & crémant and could not have been happier! Already looking forward to our next visit!!

Wow. We had not expected food and service at this high level, well above other restaurants we have recently enjoyed. We were previously in this location when it was the 2-star JY's, which has since moved and they turned this location into a spin-off. However, clearly the bar is set in the Michelin realm. The duck foie gras was sublime. Pictures show the fish with gnocchi, splendid by all accounts and the magret de canard, which was superb--perfectly selected duck, perfectly cooked, with a wonderful classic sauce with a hint of spice and orange, We rarely order dessert, but were glad we tried them here; true masterpieces from the pastry chef. And beautiful to look at, as you can see. This is a "must visit again" dining experience.

The food was good, but unfortunately I didn’t feel welcome due to the behavior of one of the waiters. I asked for butter with the bread (which seems like a normal request), and he responded with a rude “that’s for breakfast.” When he brought the butter, he repeated the comment loudly and in a condescending tone, right in the middle of a full restaurant. It made the experience unpleasant.
