"In the heart of Little Venice, this handsome regional edifice on the banks of the Lauch belongs to chef Jean-Yves Schillinger. A tasteful contemporary decor sets the stage for a culinary cast drawn from near and far: cassolette of prawns and Thai veggies; red mullet, baby artichokes and a rouille sauce with Alsace saffron; wafer-thin apple pie, butterscotch and vanilla ice cream…" - Michelin Inspector

We had a reservation at Bord’eau and were seated outside by the water. A beautiful, peaceful spot where ducks and swans drifted past. I started with the bean salad, which was refreshing and light, with pickled onion scattered throughout that added a lovely zest. For my main, I chose the vegetable risotto, and it was outstanding: robust in flavour, packed with fresh seasonal vegetables, and layered with just the right balance of tartness and umami. I finished with an espresso and a few small sweets, the perfect close to a memorable meal. Wonderful experience and I’ll definitely be returning!

Beautiful restaurant with expert staff and fantastic menu. We had a quiet table on the second floor. A basket of popovers was a welcome addition as was the amuse bouche. The lamb chops were perfectly prepared. Reservations are recommended.

Very good service, good food, excellent desserts. Good atmosphere, nice surroundings. However, the portions are rather small (excluding the desserts) and I don't think it was quite worth the money for me.

Wonderful meal on a beautiful terrase. They were great with kids and had a children menu (which was still nicely plated and made them feel like part of the celebration). Very good wine list.

We’ve eaten here for the new year’s eve. We’ve reserved and fortunately reserved. The staff was so kind and kid friendly and also adapted their menu for out 9 year old daughter. I recommend very highly. And very dish was so tasty🙏

We were very unhappy with this restaurant. The people working there did not care if we were unhappy and they were awful to us. We are old, small, don’t eat much and so we asked if we could share one entrée, plat et dessert (for 65€). They said “no”; we must each spend 54€ minimum. We insisted, they insisted, and then they said we could leave if we didn’t like their rules. So, we spent 108€ and took 3 boxes of food back to our apartment. They begrudgingly served us. The food was in fact very good but the experience was so bad that we did not enjoy anything. We had the fois, the pork and the chestnut dessert in the restaurant. We took home a cod, and the fois and pork that we could not finish. And, as I said we spent 108€.

Wow. We had not expected food and service at this high level, well above other restaurants we have recently enjoyed. We were previously in this location when it was the 2-star JY's, which has since moved and they turned this location into a spin-off. However, clearly the bar is set in the Michelin realm. The duck foie gras was sublime. Pictures show the fish with gnocchi, splendid by all accounts and the magret de canard, which was superb--perfectly selected duck, perfectly cooked, with a wonderful classic sauce with a hint of spice and orange, We rarely order dessert, but were glad we tried them here; true masterpieces from the pastry chef. And beautiful to look at, as you can see. This is a "must visit again" dining experience.

Wonderful experience dining here. The wait staff were incredible and very polite. Great bottle of Reisling set the tone. The food was delicate and well prepared. Great experience
