Bo's Kitchen & Bar Room

Pros- mixology at its finest Cons- food maybe an afterthought The ambiance is amazing. It you here on a day the bar is cozy and intimate the bartenders know their cocktails. The dining room is get if you are in the booths on the perimeter but awkward for a couple in the middle. I was a couple in the middle. The drinks are divine and innovative. The food is okay. On my date I had the seared branzino which was good but the rice and veggies accompanying it was not. My partner got the poached salmon and was not able to finish his meal because he was overwhelmed by the amount of uncooked salmon. Poached is a variable cooking term and in this case... minimal. I would highly recommend date here for drinks and appetizers but entrees chose wisely.

This is the second time ordering food to take away from Bo's. The first time we ordered a burger that was so greasy it leaked through the cardboard container. In hopes to catch them on a better day (a year later), we ordered out again and were sadly let down by the LACK of improvement. In fact this time it feels like we've actually wasted our money. The mac and cheese looked like a pale layer of soggy noodles with a puddle of oil, posing as truffle oil, layered on top. Game for bow-tie noodles in Mac and cheese, but do better. As for the Brussels sprouts, it feels like we got the bottom of the barrel (quite literally) because there were a total of .... 3 Brussels sprouts cut in half. While we really enjoy the cocktails, it feels like Bo's should be more of a bar room — cut the "kitchen." If this review deters even one customer from spending a butt load of money on mediocre food, I'll feel like I've done a service for the greater good.

I dined here this evening after looking up soul food locations for restaurant week. I ate at the bar. I enjoyed everything including the music. The reasons why I didnt score 5 stars would be the bartender(s). I wasn't checked on after my food was delivered. Their was no communication throughout the 3 courses. I do wish the bartender would've suggested a cocktail instead of saying another prosecco. In regards to the food, I do wish the marble potatoes was cut in half or quarters. Whole potatoes aren't very appealing. The creamy kale was alot. Kale is very particular and an acquired taste. It can overpower a dish and it did.

I love this place, good cocktails. The Dublin monk is strong but pleasant. The owner even chatted with us and gave us a good welcoming experience.

Had a lovely after work drinks evening at Bo's last Wednesday. Wonderful atmosphere, reasonable expense, and good service. Had such a good time, in fact, that I managed to lose my work bag at some point in the evening. Thinking I had left it at the bar, I went back the next day hoping they had it. While unfortunately I hadn't left it there (I did find it later), the staff and manager were incredibly helpful in trying to recover it. They went above and beyond at a time when they could easily have given me the cold shoulder. Well worth a visit even before this, but you've got a customer for life now!

Really enjoyed this bar and the food is great too. Solid drink menu, great service, and comfortable low key but classy atmosphere. Beer list was solid. Whiskey list also solid. The burger was tasty and the fries perfectly crispy. I'll come back for sure. Great job Bo's staff and kitchen!

Nice place. Great for a quick cocktail/bite-to-eat. Had the fish tacos, which were tasty. Did not like the one tortilla for each taco. I couldn't picked up the tacos with my hands because they just kept falling apart, had to ask for more for myself and my friend.☺ Good place over all!🌞
