My friend and I came here on a whim and were very pleasantly surprised. The menu was off a QR code which made things much simpler. The vibe in here is excellent. The Halloween decorations definitely give this place a lot of personality. The music is also very good. Not too loud. We ordered Boske Sangria and Mori Soñando for drinks which tasted phenomenal. The Mori drink was really really good. For an appetizer we chose the arepitas. They were delicious and the presentation was gorgeous. Following the appetizers we both got Lomo Saltado which was perfectly cooked, flavorful, and the fries were literally perfect. Dessert was flan, and well worth every bite. I heavily recommend a visit here for a meal.

Very cute and fun establishment. The food was 5/5; everything we ordered was delicious. The music was great and kept the vibe going. The hookah ($40.00 / $25 for refill) was done well also. I took 1 star off for service and weak drinks. The food server was very confused and kept bringing other guest's orders to our table and our food was given to the table next to us. We were also asked to move from our seats twice. I will definitely be returning and will just order a different drink. Must try!

Came here for my birthday dinner and the service was terrible. It could've been waaay better , we sat down and no one approached us until another server had to tell her co-worker that she had a table to attend to. When she does finally approach us she has no idea what we're talking about unless we showed /pointed at the picture of the items we wanted. After we got our food our server didn't come back to check on us until an hour later. When we ordered dessert we had to constantly remind her. The bill came and automatically her gratuity was included and I feel like she did not deserve it. Poor service. Good Food. Amazing Decor. Personally, i will not come back here.

This place is cute.... Nice decore. We didn't stay long, we sat at the bar which was huge btw. Ordered two rounds of drinks that were ok. The bartender was polite and interactive. Music was good... a mix of everything. We did not eat food here so I can't comment on that. Everyone seemed to be having a great time. Dj says your name if you're celebrating a birthday, that kinda thing. Bathrooms are downstairs. Dip in and check it out for yourself if you're already in the area. Enjoy!

I have the worse experience here the food was terrible. presentation is ok but taste terrible n they tried to over charge us I really hate this place so please save ur money n don't go there. There's plenty good restaurants in the area.

I dined here with a bunch of Yelp Elite friends and we sat by the bar. The interior was lovely and colorful with a chic, classy ambiance. We shared some appetizers, including Tostones Rellenos, Yuca Croquettes, Shrimp Ceviche, and Wings. The Tostones Rellenos were stuffed with ropa vieja, along with a tasty savory sauce. I loved how crispy the Tostones were, while the pork was nice and juicy. The Yuca Croquettes had angus sirloin inside, which was succulent and full of bold flavor. I also enjoyed the Shrimp Ceviche, which was served with light, airy, wonderfully crunchy plantains. The shrimp was fresh, tender, and had just the right amount of seasoning and citrus. The wings were decent, and had a bit of a kick to them. I ordered the Mofongo Bowl with Shrimp, but I think it would have been better with Ropa Vieja. The Mofongo was chewy, and tasted yummy with the accompanying sauce. However, it was a bit dry and bland. The Shrimp was just okay. Service was not the best. While I did enjoy some of the appetizers, I am used to much more authentic Dominican cuisine. This seemed to be just a trendy place, serving very Americanized Dominican fare. I wouldn't return.

Welcome to Steinway street! We came here on Wednesday and had a blast! We made it just in time for happy hour and were able to get two rounds of drinks and some appetizers for $8 and $6 respectively. The place was empty when we got there, we had a reservation at 630PM. The place is nicely lit. The service is good; the waitress, bartender and servers were all very attentive and helpful with all our questions. We started with our first round of drinks and guacamole with plantain chips and 3 rounds of wings. For our second round of drinks we had chicken empanada tacos, chimi sliders and tostones rellenos. The wings had 4 each, the sliders and tacos were 2 each and the tostones were 3. Everything was delicious! The appetizers and the drinks. It all came together perfectly. I would definitely come back again to try their entrees. See you soon BOSKÉ!

Food and drinks are delish! The DJ is amazing, plays all the hits and the best of the old school! They have hookah too for the folks that love their night outs with a drink and a hookah on the side.

Came here for last minute plans on a Wednesday and had a great time! The food was absolutely delicious. We ordered the chicharon and guava bbq wings. I did try out the pernil Mac and cheese a friend ordered and was pleasantly surprised. The Strawberry margaritas were delicious! The place is pretty small and dimly lit and has a Dj at night. We ended up doing bottle service and enjoyed our evening

I decided to come on a Tuesday night with one of my girlfriends for what we thought was Ladies night and come to find out the buy 2drinks get a free dinner entree ladies special starts at 7pm & we got there by 5:30pm Since we were already sat down we decided to stay there and try out their food. They should definitely put that in their Instagram stories/post for the future when other ladies come before 7pm. My friend and I decided we were gonna share the guacamole and plantain chips as an appetizer. For dinner entrees we shared the Chofan with chicken & Churrasco (medium) with white rice, black beans, maduro (sweet plantain) and a house salad. Sadly I was disappointed. The salad was fine, maduros & beans were ehh, white rice tasted didn't taste fresh at all, wasn't fluffy whatsoever & it was hard! The steak was cooked medium but sadly the food got cold fast and I didn't get to enjoy the steak because of their a/c blasting and it wasn't even hot that day! The chofan was over seasoned and the guac would have been better if I had known it was gonna come with green peppers! I decided to get their sangria because they didn't have any Rose wine which I was kinda sad about too! Luckily they had some white wine and i was able to drink that as my second drink! Overall I did appreciate the customer service with the hostess, waitress, and busboy. Even though I didn't have that great of a first time I would definitely like to go back & try other dinner entrees and appetizers! Till next time Boske

What are my thoughts? So the vibe is something else! At 9:30 PM, it was so packed. It's lit in here. This is the place to be! Now on to the food...the wings were good. I thought they stood out. Totally would get that again. The yuca croquettes were flavorful. I wasn't a fan of boske bowl. My favorite thing was my drink: morir soñando. It was sweet, orange flavored, and strong in alcohol, and yes, true to its name...yes it was worth dying in your dreams. My cocktail came in a glass in the shape of a fish and had an orange slice and an edible flower inside. When I sat at the bar, I looked to my left, the couple each had these cocktails that were each so beautiful! I needed to mention like the jungle nectar had this elegant glass. Another thing that stood out was the presentation. There is an Instagrammable background for photos of a dripping neon heart. One more thing that was on point was the music. If you like to shake it, then note that this club turns up for dancing! It has all the top 40 Latin reggaeton hits! This is also a great spot for a birthday party or a celebration! I saw a place to reserve on open table, but when I went to book a table, they were all reserved so we just walked on in. I'm wondering how early I needed to book it. I also have to say the waitress taking care of us was really friendly and also attentive. On another note on IG, I saw their delicious brunch menu, and it looked yummy. I love to return & try their sancocho, tres golpes, red velvet waffles, bacon sliders, skirt steak & eggs, since it looked so incredibly delicious!

This place is so cute! My friend and I went for ladies night! (Buy 2 cocktails and get a free app&meal) they have a specific menu for ladies night, which had good options. We got the empanada taco and the boske bowl both we're really good! They have hookah after 8pm! Their service couldve been better but we enjoyed our drinks and meals!

The place has a great ambiance, a typical Dominican Lounge restaurant in New York City that has great lighting and good music all night, but super packed, making a reservation here with a small party is very hard so me and my friends decided to sit at the bar. The bartender did a great job with us, gave great recommendations that she had for drinks and food, and always checked on us making sure we were good and did not need anything. For me, I had a dry mojito or without alcohol as I was trying to continue my dry January challenge, one of my friends had the morir sonando which looked super good For food, we share a few appetizers. Boske Wings crispy passion fruit habanero with cilantro lime cream. The bartender told us the wings were super spicy, I was very excited to have a bite of the wings, but I did forget that we Dominicans don't eat a lot of spicy food, the wings were not spicy at all but were super bueno. Shrimp Ceviche cucumber grilled corn and plantains chips very good great taste the only complaint about this is the chips are not enough and they want to charge us extra for more. Yuca croquettes stuffed with mozzarella and chef blend black Angus sirloin. This is a must-try, the croquettes were super delicious, and very stuffed meat and cheeses. Tostones Rellenos, crispy plantains stuffed with cheppy sauce garlic shrimp with ropa vieja. The form is very similar to the mini monfonguito, I would have to say that it is logically the same. the taste was good and the tostones was pretty big and stuffed with pork.

I cam across this restaurant from tiktok! I was a bit disappointed because the food was ok. The seasoning could have been better. The drinks let us all down. We felt as if we were just drinking juice. The presentation was lovely but it just wasn't strong enough especially for the price. Our server was very attentive and sweet! I thank her for the great hospitality. Ambiance is nice! After 8pm the restaurant becomes more lively with great music and chatter from the tables. Decor was stunning as well. I just wouldn't recommend people to come here but it was a great experience overall!

I came in for brunch last weekend with a friend. The place was surprisingly relatively empty and we had the place to ourselves. They're also pretty brand new. But it has a very clubby like atmosphere so I imagine it gets hopping in the evening. Black leather booths and seats with beautiful walls of a green like jungle vibe and interesting paintings in the corners. We went with their regular cocktail menu instead of the brunch cocktails. So I ordered an espresso martini and also the Violet Bloom later (Mezcal, violet liqueur, pineapple juice, butterfly syrup, and yuzu). My friend also had an espresso martini and the Morir Sonando. The espresso martinis were absolutely delicious. My friend's second drink was in a gigantic fish and kind of tasted like a tropical coquito. My second was visually pretty but wasn't my cup of tea and that's my bad because I'm just not a fan of mezcal but I enjoy the other ingredients that were in the cocktail. For our food she got the steak and eggs and I got the red velvet chicken and waffle. The steak was cooked perfectly and delicious. The red velvet waffles were really nice and the chicken was nice. Together it was kind of an odd pairing to me. My friend thought it was great together but I just feel like the chicken has a general tso's sesame chicken vibe to it. Everything was still very tasty and the service was amazing. I'd definitely be interested in checking them out for dinner or happy hour. Forgetting the best part, their apps! The chicken empanada taco was scrumptious but don't sleep on their yuca croquettes filled with mozzarella and a black angus sirloin blend. Oh my lord. Those croquettes are crack. I'd come back alone for just those.

I found out about this location on Instagram and decided to check it out with a friend. I really liked the vibes here. We came on a Friday night without reservations and we were able to be seated right away but they do require reservations for certain seating. I really did enjoy my entree and the appetizer, I just wish they did not bring it out at the same time because I was still eating the appetizer at the time they brought out the entree. Seinfeld I had to rush the appetizer because I don't want my entree to get cold. The cocktails were great!

Went here last Friday, we had a reservation for 7pm. We arrived and were seated immediately. The place is really nice. We ordered drinks and apps and a little later we ordered dinner. Our waiter came over and told us he was leaving for the night and needed to close out our tab (not unusual for this to happen if someone's shift is ending). He stated another waiter would come by and continue to attend to us, we said ok. We received our dinner after our waiter had left and we wanted more drinks but no one came to our table again. After a while of not being attended by anyone the hostess came to our tablet and told us we had to leave. Two of the people at our table weren't even done with their dinner. At that point we were a bit disappointed and just decided to leave. I spoke to the hostess on my way out and made sure she understood how unprofessional it was to approach us to leave when people were still eating and the restaurant was half empty. Many tables we're unoccupied all night and we were consuming! We were there celebrating a birthday and didn't even get to order the birthday person dessert. Unfortunately I will not be back was looking forward to enjoying this night out with the girls and it didn't work out that way.

Delicious food.. sangria was amazing and nice size for Mother's Day. Their guacamole is delightful with the chips need more chips .... Staff were very nice.... Oh the coconut mojito tasteful....

This is definitely a new vibe in Astoria. It is a great place to celebrate with a group of friends or just on a date ! The Chef is doing such an amazing job with his menu from the appetizers to the entrees and you can't forget the dessert. I have to say my favorite was the arroz Chaufa. The service was great, the staff are friendly, attentive and made sure we were doing okay. The ambience was very inviting, it creates the perfect atmosphere to wine down, have drinks and dance the night away. Boske has an amazing Dj that will have you on the floor all night. Will be returning for their upcoming Típico.

A hookah lounge, a club, a bar? It's all three, with pumping dance music from the moment you step in. If you want a party with average drinks and subpar food, this is the spot. Walk in the door and you've entered a latin party! We came in on a Sunday, so I don't know if hookah's are only on weekends. The cocktail menu offers several twists. The Forest Fashion is sweet, but not overpowering. The Paloma Tropical was the best drink of the night with very nice balance. The violet bloom, is just strange, the mezcal doesn't work with the other ingredients. A better choice is requesting bottle service. Our group shared several appetizers. Chimi sliders were flavorful with warm fries. Yuca croquettes were barely warm, with a little more heat the flavor would come through. The tostones rellenos had an unnecessary cream that took away flavor from the shrimp. The mofongitos were very dry. The service was average, relatively attentive. Come for the music.

I rated this a 3 could go to a 3.5 because of the tacos but Let's start with the food We ordered: Short rib Mac & cheese Mofongo w/ shrimp Yuca croquettes Beef Tacos Our friends ordered ceviche , fried rice, and another dish! Tacos were good, great crunch, flavorful (a must) Yuca croquettes were an unexpected surprise you must try these! (comes with 3) and good flavor seasoned well The Mac & cheese was just average, the short ribs give it flavor (it's made with a white cheese so it's creamy) The mofongo is a NO!!!!! Super dry! Not enough sauce! You get 2 shrimp and we end up leaving it take the risk of you want too but improvement is needed (someone needs to show them how to make this properly take a trip to Washington heights!) Now the service Appeared attentive at 1st! Upon walk in, seating, and prior to ordering! We had so many people coming to the table we were confused who was our waiter, server, etc...... so this is where it gets the low rating None the less .... At the end when it was time to pay yet again another waitress came over took our credit card then end up charging us double the price and did not come over to tell us!!!! She walked around happily, never came back, never bought our card back, did not even say 1 word!!!! We sat there for at-least 15 mins in wonder! Finally someone came over noticed us asking for the waitress with our card and bill to no avail they finally told us she charged us for someone else's table! How could she have not seen the significance we never ordered drinks!!!!!!! We never were compensated for anything, not even a drink offered, nothing!!!!! Our bill was 1$63, their bill was well over $300 dollars, smh....... She never came over to apologize that pissed us off and turned us off completely I'm adding it was not even busy for the huge mistake!!!!!!! Needles to say I won't return back! The service was not what I expected! Good luck

Boské Skirt Steak is so tender and juicy, the service is awesome, and definitely a vibe to end the night so make sure to wear comfy shoes with elegance so you can dance all night!

The wait was long as it was between brunch and dinner however that still shouldn't have been the reason it took so long for someone to take our order. At one point the manager had to check in on us. The drinks shouldn't have been so expensive for the service. The ambiance is the only thing worth the time.

After dinner ...between the waitress and the manager we were told that we had to move because the table was reserved ( it was close to 10 o'clock pm).... The bar was almost full and may I add that there were people putting their belongings on the bar stools ( just because ) preventing others from sitting (manager and waitress didn't tell them anything about that!! When speaking to the manager every question asked what to do when we left the table and no space at the bar.... He just shrugged his shoulders (body language like saying not my problem) very rude and very unprofessional!!! They don't even deserve a 0. Bosque in Spanish means Jungle well they can stay there!!!!

The food at Boske was delicious it's Dominican food with a twist. I order the Boske Mac and cheese with pernil it was cheesy and gooey, the pernil was crispy and well seasoned. The Boske bowl was great it consists of a mofongo bowl with Moro topped with shrimp, gauc and pico de gallo very unique to put Moro inside. I order a tropical Paloma it's was on point. The place is very chic the ambiance is lively. The music was great on Saturdays they have a Típico band it's a super cute place for drinks and date night. Highly recommend checking them out if in the mood for good food, great service, Típico and Hookah!!

Came here on a Wednesday night for some appetizers and drinks. Turned out to be one of the best spots I have ever visited in Astoria. The staff was super friendly and accommodating. The mofonguitos with the cream sauce was out of this world. You must try the lychee reposado drinks awesome for date night. Music was on point played a Latin and house mix. If you want a vibe in Astoria and want to keep it sexy I recommend this place.

This place is amazing! Nice place in Queens where you can go for dinner, and must I say the food is Delicious, My favorite is the empanadas. Drinks amazing and the vibe, music and ambiance is wonderful. My husband celebrated my Bday there and no complaints. Saturday is a must if you want to go have fun and dance.

So we saw this nice video on instagram and decided to give it a try. Didn't know it was a recently new place that open until after my review. They seated us at very tiny table all the others which were empty had reservations. I got there around 7:30 pm on a Saturday so if you want a big table make reservations. Waitress came and asked if want water. I said yes so she brings 2 bottle water forgot the name brand it looked fancy and automatically was like "great they gonna charge me for this when im thinking it was gonna be basic tap water) Future customers DECLINE the water charged me 16 for 2 bottles. Croquettes are great and they ask many times if everything is okay which is cool. Issue i had was they brought out my plate first and waitress explains my girlfriends steak they burnt and their making a new one (so why bring mines out first) . So now i gotta wait until she gets hers and my food is now cold. Took 20 mins to get the bill after asking for it. Tip was included in the bill but honestly i wasn't going to leave one since they botched bringing my food first and not both the sane time. BEWARE of the FLOOR by the last step coming up from the bathroom my gf tripped on the messed up floor and we both saw 3 other people tripping on something on that floor. I was so mad about my order I didn't even bother mentioning to the staff because I wanted someone to actually fall so they can do something about it because the staff was there seeing it happen and just makes pretend like thats normal. Nice place, but the staff is made up of young girls who you can tell lack experience. Food is good for the most part but its small portions. Has potential with the right staff, be more specific about the water don't make it sound like its tap water . Fix the floor, have more tables available for walk ins. Those small little tables had us eating very careful not to drop nothing. Tell staff to not bring main dish first and the other 20 minutes later. Then it will have potential .

So I planned a date night for my girlfriend and I. We arrived before time so we definitely weren't late. Upon arrival we met with the hostess as we walked in. She definitely had my reservation set. Once she was walking us to our "assigned seating" she was very lost. She couldn't figure it out and when we asked her politely if we could sit at an open table of our choice she had a bit of an attitude stating they were all reserved. When it was all empty when we came in. Okay cool. So she takes us to our table. There's only 1 seat there. My lady sits down and I await for the hostess to grab me a seat. She walks off. Minutes go by she doesn't return. So me standing there like an idiot now I just go to another table and grab a chair so I can seat myself. She doesn't return back til a while then walk near our table and spins off. Joy right? Waitress comes takes our order. We get our glasses of water and then the drink my girlfriend orders. Food shows up and we start eating. I ran out of water and not once was I able to get not 1 refill of water!!! The entire duration of our visit. My girl orders another drink and we waited 30 mins before it came. At that point we didn't want it. We asked another girl who worked there and she had an attitude and stated we only have 2 people and it's busy... where? So you can't go inquire about our drink ordered? Finally our Waitress shows back up after so long and claims she forget. She will go check. 10 mins later someone shows up with it. We didn't except the drink and asked for our check. The place was nice but service was horrible. These young girls working there have no desire to help or be there. When I went to the bathroom they had a coat check there. The girl was busy on her phone snapping away at her gum. Not at all a professional look. From the greeting to walk in to the moment we left. Horrible experience. We had spoken to a Manager who did apologize and claimed they have just opened and the kick off has been a bit overwhelming. It's understandable but end of the day as someone who goes out to eat often this is unexceptable at all. I definitely wouldn't go back here. The one thing we definitely and only enjoyed was their wings. They were cooked to perfection. Other then that it was such a waste of time and money. Super disappointed after I've seen such a hype promo on them on IG. Don't be fooled by the stuff you see on social media.
