The 16 Best Restaurants In Yountville

"The wraparound patio at Bottega feels like a permanent vacation where lounging with craft cocktails, like the Bear Flag Revolt with a pomegranate bear-shaped ice cube, is the most pressing thing you have to do. The pasta and meat dishes are what it’s all about here, with standouts including rigatoni al coniglio with balsamic marinated rabbit, tagliarini bolognese with Zinfandel-brushed pecorino, and braised short rib. No meal should end without the tiramisu that’s covered in a cocoa-dusted chocolate shell, paired with another one of those rock star cocktails. " - christina julian, andrew steinthal

"If you're a Food Network addict, it's worth putting Bottega on your list so you can taste Michael Chirello's Italian menu in person. It can feel a little bit touristy, meaning it can get loud and busy, but the service is surprisingly good and the signature ricotta gnocchi is undeniably awesome."

Went here as a group of four on a Saturday night with no reservations! We had a two hour wait, but spent it at the bar, where we got some delicious wine and appetizers (lamb skewers and burrata). Once we sat down at our table, we got the braised short rib with polenta, the raviolo, the risotto - each dish was beautifully crafted and scrumptious. For dessert, we shared the affogato and chocolate lava cake with vanilla bean ice cream. Such a treat! The atmosphere of the restaurant is lovely, perfect for a couples dinner or date night. Highly recommend this spot for the next time you’re in Napa

Google
Ambience, food and drinks - absolutely amazing. The whisky sour is a must try. The brussel sprouts salad was fresh , delicious and amazing. As was the Spaghetti Sophia Loren and the Ravilio. We started with drinks at the bar and sat on the patio. Very romantic and beautiful atmosphere.

Google
I love the ambience, perfect for a quiet romantic dinner, with the subdued lighting and perfect acoustics as you can hear your companion speak without straining to hear. Friendly, attentive and efficient customer service. Food was delicious, so many good choices that we may have to return to try a few more. They have outdoor seating and a large outside venue to hold events.

Google
It was suggested a must visit restaurant so we ate here our first night. The food was good, not great. The service was just OK and the atmosphere was average. Our party has the Raviolo, Vegetable Lasagna and Brazino. All were good but we were not impressed. Above average for sure but not the visit we were expecting

Google
This restaurant truly exceeded my expectations. If you’re considering dining here, don’t hesitate—just go. I’ve been to many places, but nothing compares to the experience I had. The truffle fries were outstanding, and the service was attentive without being pushy. I ordered the pasta carbonara, which was traditional, flavorful, and perfectly balanced—not too oily. Every bite was delicious. The Caesar salad was also fantastic. Overall, I don’t often give such high praise, but this place definitely deserves it.

Google
Worth the hype! Worth the price. Great food. Had a best meal after a long time

Google
I love the food here, pastas were great, apps were excellent, but the tomahawk was overcooked. However let me tell you, this is the first restaurant in a while where the music isn't too loud. We had a table of 6, and everyone could hear each other just fine. It's so unusual to find a restaurant with a bar that isn't so loud. I really appreciated it.

Google
Had a great experience at this restaurant! The food was flavorful and beautifully presented, especially the house-made pasta. The staff were friendly and attentive without being overbearing. The ambiance was cozy and perfect for a relaxed evening. would definitely come back!

Yelp
Romantic, upscale, welcoming The restaurant was candlelit with white tablecloths, chunky menus, and obvious quality right off the bat. Our server was personable and took time to learn our names because we were coming from a social function with name tags! The food was everything you're hoping for in an authentic Italian dinner! Fresh, light, flavorful and filling.

Yelp
Food was lack luster arrived 40 mins from ordering and the meat was cold but pasta was warm. The lasagna was tasteless! Was really disappointed over all! Service was also lacking had to ask for everything even water refills even though they were standing behind us and could tell that the water glass was empty! Not sure what was going on there! Ambiance and decor was nice the only plus the place has going on. Very disappointed. Go somewhere else. The menu was also very limited.

Yelp
A Meal to Remember The 1000 Layer Potato with A5 Wagyu Tartar was the star--perfectly crisp potato layers, rich egg yolk, and black truffle shavings. It was flawless. I also had the Black Carbonara, a dish I can't leave without ordering. Creamy, smoky, and packed with flavor, it never disappoints. Bottega consistently delivers incredible food and a great atmosphere. We had the pleasure of meeting the new chef. Bottega is lucky to have him!! f you're in Napa, it's a must-visit.

Yelp
Had a great meal here. Great spot for a date night or dinner with a group. Started with the Negroni which was served with a clear ice cube. For appetizers we enjoyed the calamari and the Brussel sprout salad which was one of the highlights of the meal. Oh the bread was great as well so be sure to try it as it comes out warm and fresh. For the entree we ordered the bolognese and the risotto served with scallops. Both great. For dessert we ordered the chocolate lava cake and the tiramisu. I would ask for a side of vanilla ice cream with the chocolate cake. The lava cake is amazing and perfectly warm and gooey on the inside. The tiramisu was probably the only low point of the meal and not a classic tiramisu. Service was good.

Yelp
Amazing experience at Michael Chiarello's Bottega when we finally got to go up to Yountville in Napa Valley on 11/26 for our belated anniversary trip. Bottega is located at the lovely V Marketplace on Washington St. Food, service and ambiance were all exceptional! Hughes kudos and thanks to Jose Lara, our wonderful server that night . That dipping sauce they serve with the bread was OmG heavenly. We could not get enough of that. So, soo good!!! The Burrata was divine. Perfect combo of ingredients that went oh-so-well together. The Branzino was perfectly grilled paired with cauliflower. I was excited to order the Rigatoni with rabbit as I have had something similar in Prague several years ago. This was actually my least favorite of all the dishes. Still good I probably would have enjoyed it better with a different protein. Lava cake with Marconi almonds was the perfect ending along with the complimentary plate of cookies! Highly recommend!

Yelp
2 words: Go. Here. My group and I came here after a day of wine tasting and it exceeded our expectations and more. The ambiance is great for a date night or even a girls night! Our server was one of the best servers I've had in awhile- his name is Murphy and he is very knowledgeable about the food/drinks and never gave us a bad suggestion. For the food- we ordered a little bit of everything and shared (which I highly recommend). The highlights were: the burrata with the persimmon (never have I ever tasted something so new and great), the gnocchi (they tasted like little delicious pillows), and the cinnamon sugar donut bites for dessert (dare I say more)! I still think about this dinner. If you are in the area or are visiting- Bottega is a special place and a must stop! You will not regret it.

Yelp
I made a reservation here for my Husband's birthday and everything was excellent! The place was a little tricky to find as it was if I am not mistaken inside a hotel. However, the people are welcoming and wonderful and helped us as soon as we entered the place. Here's what we got: - Arancini (Basil pesto arancini stuffed with house made mozzarella, served with Nonna's sauce, finished with Parmigiano Reggiano) Sooo good! Its so filling! Really a heavy appetizer for 2! We shared 2 Entrees! - Raviolo Potato pasta filled with farm hen egg yolk, ricotta and Swiss chard with truffled brown *This is very savory and one Raviolo is mooore than enough! Very filling! - Branzino alla Griglia Wood grilled Branzino and fennel , watermelon radish, Castelvetrano olive salad *This is sooo good! We love the fish its fresh and meaty! They also have the best and fancy cocktails! Mine was a strawberry margarita I think? And had the cutest iced bear made of strawberry puree! For our dessert, we tried the gelato i think it comes with 3 varieties (I forgot) and they come in fancy gold cups and we also had tiramisu... But we were also surprised that the restaurant gave my husband a birthday dessert! We ordered a pot of coffee to end the night! Everything was delicious, has great presentation and most of all amazing service! Will definitely recommend for special events!

Yelp
Bottega was a delicious treat for a night out with the girls. I ordered the special truffle risotto, and it was the highlight of the evening--rich, creamy, and full of flavor. The girls couldn't resist and ended up sneaking bites from my plate! The ambiance was warm and inviting, making it the perfect spot for a fun and memorable evening.

Yelp
I appreciate the creative flavors put into every dish, they were all very tasty, even the complimentary bread/garlic parmesean dip was delicious. I was most impressed with the raviolo, their take on ravioli to a different level! Also loved the how creamy and very buttery the scallop risotto was. They might be too rich for weaker tummies but that's why you have to pace yourself (unlike someone at my table lol)! A little disappointing were the octopus and hamachi. The octo was overcooked and the hamachi was microscopic! Loved my pretty After spa water, more so for the color and fresh floral fun. I didn't taste much alcohol in it but it was light and refreshing. We wanted to try a few other items that weren't on the menu, like lamb chops, black ink pasta and funnel cake prosciutto. Not their fault, it was ours for browsing old food porn on Yelp. Service was attentive, almost too attentive. The nice lady kept coming to take our plates while we were still eating. I was firm in saying I wasn't done but others at the table were missing plates and silverware between some of the entrees. I'll say it's partially their fault for not being more assertive with an ambitious wait staff. Lastly, there was a little miscommunication but thnx, Edgar, for taking care of it and showing us that he valued our time. Would love to return and try more yummy goodness soon!

Yelp
Bottega is a wonderful spot to eat before going to a winery. If you would like to sit outside, you must either arrive very early or reserve in advance. The food was delicious and well balanced. As someone who rarely finishes a pasta plate, I was able to finish the carbonara. The appetizers were good but the crudo of the day was such a small portion, I would not get it again.

Yelp
Celebrated my daughter's birthday at this amazing restaurant. We were seated at a nice roundtable that we requested since we made a reservation, which I highly recommended. They get busy even on weekdays. Our host and server were friendly and accommodating. The food was delectable and amazing. We ordered several different dishes from the menu, a lot to mention and describe, but all dishes were well presented. You can taste the quality and freshness of the homemade pasta. Loved the tiramisu with the chocolate dust it was smooth n velvety. Cocktails were also a great addition. Would definitely come back again especially our server was friendly, he was an older guy there seems very knowledgeable of all the dishes and always checked on our table.

Yelp
Excellent food at Bottega. The pasta was cooked perfectly and very flavorful. The ambiance of the restaurant was very nice with low lighting. I went during a girl's trip, but this restaurant would be perfect for a date night. I did remove one star based on the service. The waiter didn't seem very attentive to our table. I will say that was the only con to the experience though. I was very impressed with the charcoal pasta. It was very unique and so tasty.

Yelp
Went to Bottega for a night out with a friend. The seating was a bit cramped, but since the restaurant wasn't too crowded, it didn't feel uncomfortable. The decor is lovely, and our waiter was attentive, adding to a pleasant experience. The food was good--not mind-blowing, but tasty, filling, and worth the price. Overall, I'd come back for another visit.

Yelp
This is a great establishment. The interior is elegant. Open kitchen concept allows you to see the food being prepared. My only suggestion is that on hot summer days they offer extensive salad and cold food options. The waitress was very sweet and helpful. The arancinis were excellent and so was the grilled octopus . Excellent wine selection.

Yelp
What was once a a culinary staple of Napa Valley, Bottega has since gone downhill. I've dined at Bottega a couple times, nothing phenomenal but a good spot in Yountville until recently with their new chef. To start, appetizers were bland and disappointing. The calamari was criminally under-seasoned and the Caesar salad had old wilted lettuce! Continuing the meal, my Fusilli allá Tra Vigne was one of the worst pasta dishes I've ever had. The fusilli was bare naked placed atop a measly amount of "spicy" tomato sauce. A child could have made a better dish. Safe to say I won't be back and neither will my family.
google avatar

Angela R.

Yelp
Good food, good service. Consistently a good experience when I've dined here. I would say portions are on the smaller side, so plan to get 1 or 2 appetizers and probably a dessert. My pasta with shrimp stock was good but it did not stand out. I thought the Bolognese was better. I really enjoyed the Pecorino Buddino appetizer, which they seem to change the flavors on regularly, as I've seen other reviews with some cool combinations. I look forward to trying something different the next time I eat here. I didn't have it this visit, but I recommend their pasta alla Sophia Loren. It's such a simple dish that I had many years ago, but was so memorable that I nearly ordered it again.
google avatar

Ellie Duong A.

Yelp
Expensive but worth it! Portion seems small but bigger than I thought. The inside is very nice. Love our servers
google avatar

Sandee L.

Yelp
The spaghetti alla Sophia Loren was our favorite! We were told this was made for her 30th birthday and this is the only pasta they don't make in house: they import it from Italy. Our server's suggestion was to try it without the sauce before mixing it for two different experiences. The flavors in just the pasta cooked in the tomato sauce alone were fantastic...and this is coming from a self proclaimed sauce aficionado! The carbonara al carbone was unique with the charcoal pasta which had crunchy little bits in the already al dente pasta. It actually ended up being quite saucy after a good mix of the egg yolk and parm. The rigatoni al coniglio was our least favorite. The rabbit was like chicken and the entire dish was way too salty. The crusty bread with garlic topping is divine. They do charge $2/pp for that and water! I love how they automatically split the pasta dishes for us when we told them we were sharing. Shout out to Brayant for the excellent service! 3.5 stars for the food 4.5 stars for the service 4 stars overall

Yelp
Came here for my husband's birthday. I noted that it was his birthday on the reservation and they put a card on the table. However there was no complimentary dessert or any candle or message on the dessert we ordered. When we arrived around 4:45pm for our 5pm reservation, we were told to come back at 5pm to be seated which we thought was odd since it looked like tables were available and our entire party was there. Not only that, but when we arrived, the person at the front did not greet us and looked past us to tell the party sitting down that their table was ready. A hello or to say I'll be with you in a moment or just a quick gesture would've been nice. When we entered, the restaurant smelled a bit stuffy, so we asked to sit outside. Luckily there was a table available. I enjoyed the ambiance outside much better. It was warm with lots of outdoor heaters and nicely lit. For appetizers, we ordered the shaved brussel sprouts since That's something we don't usually see/haven't tried. It looked good in photos but we didn't realize that it comes with pecorino Romano. I really did not like the taste of that. My husband was okay with it but it got tiring so we didn't end up finishing it. After we placed our order, the server said the bread will be coming right out so we assumed it would be free. Then after our appetizer came out and the entrees were coming out soon, we double checked to see if the bread was coming. The waiter then brought the bread out which came with this dipping sauce that was garlicky and cheesy? But I did not enjoy the taste of it. Tasted like there might've been the same type of cheese that was in the brussel sprouts? When we received the bill, we noticed there was a "coperto" charge of $2 per person. Which is for the water and bread. Keep in mind they just poured us water automatically and mentioned bread without telling us there would be a charge. Also ordered the spaghetti alla Sophia. This was my favorite out of the dishes we ordered. It tasted fresh and flavorful. We also ordered the raviolo which was my husband's favorite. It's unique that it's one huge ravioli. Overall, the food was decent, but the service was not great. The server was not attentive. At one point we had a couple of empty places at our table and it took awhile for them to take it away. They also brought out a new drink my husband ordered without taking away the drink he had finished. So there were lots of empty plates and cups on our table. The service was not good as soon as we walked in and we should've taken that as a sign.

Yelp
One of the best dinners I've had in wine country in a long time. Everything here was really incredible. The lighting was low but plenty bright enough so you didn't have to squint. We ordered a few appetizers to share and cocktails to start. Bread and a delicious garlic dip was brought over in addition and the sommelier uncorked our bottle of wine without hesitation. The pace of service was right on cue and all of our dishes were seasoned so well. We finished with dessert and coffee. I really loved the warm inviting atmosphere and the decor and details were all thoughtful and intentional. There's lots to try in Napa and the surrounding area but I'd say this is definitely one I'll make more prominent on my return list as a local Bay Area resident. Thank you for a wonderful dinner and evening Bottega team.

Yelp
What an incredible way to end our honeymoon! We mentioned in our reservation that we were celebrating our honeymoon so as soon as we were sat at our table there was the cutest little note congratulating us. I wish I could remember our server's name because she was absolutely incredible! So kind, knowledgeable and gave great recommendations! The drinks were made exquisitely. I am extremely picky when it comes to my amaretto sour and I always get so excited when a luxardo cherry is included since it is my absolute favorite. Now don't get me started on the food! It was just amazing from beginning to end. I still dream about the Burrata! My husband got the lamb and risotto special. It was absolutely delicious, cooked perfectly and the risotto was spot on. I definitely ventured out from something that I would usually order and I'm SO glad I did! I got the Carbonara al Carbone which was incredible. Pasta was cooked perfectly al dente, crispy pancetta with the creaminess of the egg yolk. Truly a chefs kiss! The panna cotta was delicious and the honeymoon dessert was a nice little surprise to end such a special dinner!

Yelp
Bottega is awesome. We had an excellent lunch there comprising gluten-free calamari for an appetizer, while my wife had a gluten-free Bolognese, and I had the rigatoni with rabbit, which was magical. Additionally, the calamari was tantalizingly tasty, meticulously battered and fried to perfection. From the libation end, the Negroni cocktails were fabulous and meticulously well-made. My wife and I ordered the Negroni Royale and Pink Panther, which were gorgeous not only in taste but also in presentation. Additionally, the Negroni Spritz was another standout within their cocktail roster. We savored each sip, which was a nice contrast to all the wine we sampled and tasted on our trip to the vineyards thus far. Our server, Brian, was incredibly friendly and patient with us and provided recommendations if we were undecided on certain items, especially those that could be gluten-free. Their dining room is quite dark and luxurious, with brick walls and black drapes. The ambiance created allowed for a very intimate lunch experience in contrast to the bright, sunny skies outside. We would return in a heartbeat.

Yelp
Service was on point; it took a minute for water to arrive, but once it arrived everything else fell into place. There were drinks, from old fashions, mojitos, apple martini. Then there were appetizers: starting with 'pasta frita con prosciutto', octopus, polenta & an order of the brisket done as a meatball - just scrumptious all around. Finally the mains: 2 orders of the branzino, the ravioli, several orders of the braised short rib, 'Fusilli Michelangelo', I might be missing someone's meal. Again, just devine. My plate the 'Fusilli Michelangelo' was a tad too spicy, no worries I trade with hubby for the braised brisket - on my goodness, just melted in my mouth! Lastly the desserts, an order of the homemade donuts, 'Zeppole', please bring the wheel barrel around; screaming yummy . The ambience casual, as in nice jeans, shirt. A bit loud. We shall return, maybe not all 7 of us, but definitely me!

Yelp
Amazing Italian food with rich history from a great chef. We actually met with the current Exec Chef Alex prior to our seating and he gave us a good history of his career and Chef Michael's. Our server Murphy had some great stories about the history of his career in restaurant in Napa as well as about Bottega. Food was phenomenal. We order ALOT of food. Great starters. Probably 4-5 apps. Great pasta dishes. Probably close to almost all on the menu. Great cocktails. Unfortunately no room for dessert.

Yelp
Hubby and I were looking for a nice restaurant for our babymoon without spending too much and discovered this fine dining restaurant! We both ordered the Grilled "Short rib" Cheeseburger, mine well-done for pregnancy and his medium rare. One of the best burgers I ever had! The meat is nice and tender, topped with mouthwatering truffle oil, fresh produce and nice melty cheese on a grilled semolina bun! It's served with nice crispy fries and delicious Parmigiano on top! Bread came complimentary to the table with the most AMAZING spread I ever had! Our sweet, helpful server mentioned the spread is made with mouthwatering parmigiano, olive oil, basil and chili flakes! I would HIGHLY recommend this small business! In 2008 award winning Chef Michael Chiarello opened his restaurant! Find him on Food Network! We'll be returning for celebrations and get togethers to try more of their drool-worthy menu! SYOY! :-) *Music: Midnight Fever by AI Music

Yelp
Came here for lunch to celebrate my birthday! Received a sweet touch of a handwritten card that was placed on our table. I am sad to have to rate Bottega a 2.5 but rounding up to 3 and here's why: - Attentive service, super friendly staff - We sat outside on a beautiful Sunday, but of course there were flies. Not the restaurants fault though. - We ordered the burrata, burger, raviolo, shrimp pasta, zeppole and tiramisu. Burrata was delicious! Burger and shrimp pasta were good but nothing to rave about. Sadly I found a piece of metal in my raviolo. At first I thought it was a piece of stem from the sage in the dish, but alas it was something that was silver - not as thin as foil, but pliable and sharp. The donuts were really yummy, the tiramisu was okay. Would maybe come back to sit inside and enjoy the ambiance of the restaurant. But the food is just okay.

Yelp
Dinner @botteganapavalley is always special! We enjoyed an epic celebration dinner. It was a VERY busy night- the servers were doing their best to keep up but service wasn't quite as on point as usual. Still I have been enough to say, this is still a stellar place and our server was doing his best. We started with cocktails- the honey bear comes with a cinnamon honey ice bear! For apps we have the arancini (crispy outside cheesy goodness inside in a light tomato sauce) and the calamari (crisp and fresh). The calamari was a standout for the sauce that accompanied it. It was a squid ink aioli- yum!! (Great on bread too!) The shaved brussel sprout salad is a must order - bitter lemony crunchy! I enjoyed the charcoal carbonara, although I wish it was a bit warmer. The espresso short ribs with polenta were out of this world! The gremolata on the polenta really put it over the top! The rabbit rigatoni with fresh ricotta and bacon was comfort in a bowl. The fusilli with mushrooms and chicken was light. The desserts were the least exciting part of the meal. The tiramisu is not traditional- more like a devil food cake encased in magic shell. The panda cotta was simple and good. We always enjoy our time here.

Yelp
Bottega in Napa Valley delivered an unforgettable dining experience! The Daily Raw Fish (Hamachi with caviar and ponzu) was a perfect, delicate start with bold flavors. The Pasta Fritta con Prosciutto was wonderfully crispy and savory, a real treat! The standout for me was the Ricotta Gnocchi della Nonna--the "pillows" were so light, and the old hen tomato sauce was divine. Lastly, the Raviolo with its rich farm egg yolk and truffled brown butter was pure indulgence. Highly recommend! A must-visit for any food lover!

Yelp
Our server was very attentive and quick! The entrance is in the back if you are a first timer. The food was great! We had the special pork chop, carbonara, and grilled octopus. Our daughter had the Parmesan Truffle fries and kids pasta. The fries were amazing! Then we ended with the lava cake with vanilla bean gelato. Such a wonderful dinner for early Father's Day! This place is definitely kids friendly too! The restaurant had a chill evening summer vibe with background music. The patio was filled with people enjoying their cocktails. My husband had an Old Fashion, while I enjoyed a glass of Sauvignon Blanc (Rutherford).

Yelp
Food is delicious! They have a lot of options for vegan and vegetarian. They're very mindful about allergies. The setting is very romantic and elegant, feels like you're in another country. However the Service was very slow we had a table of 9 and we asked to be moved away from the door since it was cold. They moved us to a smaller table. The waiter kept apologizing because we were sitting there for 15 mins ready to order and he was overwhelmed. We went there on a Saturday afternoon I'd say if you want a better service go there on a slow day.
google avatar

Joe C.

Yelp
Excellent food. My bolognese was delicious. Chocolate coated tiramisu was very tasty. Service was great. Severs and other staff were very friendly and paid attention to our needs. Very nice atmosphere to enjoy a holiday meal with the family.

Yelp
What better way to end a girls wine tasting day than a delicious dinner?! We ordered the squid pasta, rabbit pasta, and a T-bone steak. As expected, the rabbit is a bit gamey so if you're not a fan of that, would suggest trying something else. The service was amazing and everyone was very tentative. Would love to come back and try other dishes!

Yelp
I recently had the pleasure of dining at this amazing restaurant in Yountville, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. We sat out on the patio, surrounded by a beautiful environment that enhanced our dining experience. The service was impeccable, and it was evident that the servers genuinely love their job. They treated everyone with the utmost respect, including each other, and worked together seamlessly. The food quality was outstanding, with perfect ingredients used in every dish. The brussels sprout salad was particularly refreshing and delicious. Opting for appetizers only turned out to be a fantastic choice; we ended up completely full by the end of the meal, enjoying a variety of flavors from the menu's smaller portions. I can't wait to visit this restaurant again!

Yelp
It must be five years since I was at bottega, it was very satisfying to return. Promptly seated four of us at our reservation time. Looking at the wine list I was very surprised at its value, we had a nice Etna Sicilian white wine for $54 which I looked up retails for $27 so just a two times markup over retail. We ordered two salad capreses, they were beautiful but I don't think they were heirloom and they certainly were not ripe tomatoes. Not sweet not super flavorful. One couple ordered the carbonara pasta for splitting for two, and it was very nice that they it in the kitchen and put an egg yolk on each serving. A different spin on carbonara but it was very good. Corkage is $35 (high) but waived if you buy a bottle. We had a nice time we'll go back our service was excellent, my only nit is don't clear the table until all of the diners are finished!

Yelp
This place had the best truffle fries I've ever had. To this day, I'm still drooling thinking about it. It was so crispy and not greasy. Just amazing with the perfect level of truffle oil and Parmesan. This is a perfect date night restaurant. The place is quiet and romantically lit with gorgeous plating for their food. Highly recommend!

Yelp
This was a fun find for us. The nearby neighboring property is being completely remodeled so all adjacent tenants have been moved. Bottega is an Italian full-service restaurant that has a nice following. We had the shaved Brussels, tagliarini bolognese, and wood grilled octopus. Our server made many suggestions since this was our first time. All items were nicely Italian flavored. The server was extremely helpful and made our dinner special. Ambiance is classical elegance created by tables and linens topped with white butcher paper. The back servers brought us clean share plates and fresh silverware between courses. The level of service they provided is hard to find at restaurants today. We truly felt like royalty. We strongly recommend you give Bottega a try.

Yelp
Updating and reflecting Mario the manager came over and was apologetic and offered desert. I appreciate that but the evening was ruined and I expected more from the restaurant. We were seated in a cozy area just for couples which was nice. The shaved Brussels sprouts were a great appetizer. Citrus dressing and refreshing acidity. Steak was inedible and overcooked then Undercooked. Disappointing Great service from the young lady who served us. One of the worst steaks I have ever had - NY steakhouse price at roadside diner quality ----------------- Wrote this last night.... Diner style porterhouse at top steakhouse prices. I am writing this as fast as I can to help diners. AVOID THIS FOOD ITEM Definitely one of the most disgusting overpriced steaks I have ever had. returned the first steak as it was overcooked. Second was undercooked and inedible. How disappointing.

Yelp
Nice ambiance, beautifully prepared and delicious food, friendly staff, and yummy drinks summarize my thoughts on Bottega. Pricey, Yes. Servings can either be shared or not, either way works. Would mos def recommend for a nice get together with friends before heading out to the wineries.

Yelp
Another perfect meal! Arriving after just having put our Christmas tree on the curb, was glad to see the tree still up and Holiday like in wine country still. We were lead to the warm belly of the main dining room. Had a nice waiter who was a friend of Michael's for over 30 years. Very friendly and knowledgeable. Shared the pear salad with my husband for starter, it was baby arugula w a few pieces of endive and radicchio, candied walnuts and a sweet chilled dressing almost reminds me of Poppyseed dressing- and pears. Very good choice! I did share in the kids Truffle fries- not oily or overly truffled- i mainly took advantage the fried pieces of sage in there! Delicious. My main was the Special risotto of the night- saffron infused risotto with seared scallops (a little salty but perfect actualy- no other salt)- found myself coming back for that bite of seasoning). Everyone was stiffed from the bread and their meals but i pushed on for a sweet bite- there were 3 i couldnt choose from but the waiter said you'll want the Zeppole- donuts -naming one of the 3 in my head, with Hazelnut cream inside i think, and laid on a plate smeared of apple butter. Delicious! Everyone partook and they were all gone! Wasn't overly stuffed or anything it literally was a perfect meal of many different flavors. We have always come here and it's as delicious as always.

Yelp
Food Spaghetti alla Sophia Loren 4/5 A dish as sophisticated as it sounds, the flavors are LOUD. The smell of basil washed over me as it arrived at table which I would normally swoon over (call me basil bae) but the salt was applied heavy handedly. I was a bit disappointed as the spaghetti would have been perfect had it not been so salty. Al dente pasta. No protein. It is still worth trying. Scallop Risotto 4.5/5 Tenderest scallops! Risotto cooked nicely. Coming in more expensive than the branzino, I had raised expectations and it delivered. Ricotta gnocchi 4/5 Pillows describe the gnocchi perfectly. Ricotta is smooth. Red sauce paired nicely. Service Coperta cover charge per person. Servers kept our beverages full and cleaned the tables expeditiously, attentive and friendly. I love how there's outdoor seating year around in these odd times we're living in. Large lot for parking.

Yelp
I love Bottega and have been here several times. The food was always amazing, though this time around it seemed a little bit less impressive. The place was not as kept up as it has been in the past. Service was great though.

Yelp
Bottega had delicious pasta, but especially delicious polenta! The rabbit rigatoni was a favorite for us - the rigatoni was thick and al dente and the sauce was delicious. The rabbit was also in large pieces, so if you're afraid of it you can pick around and give it to someone else. We sat on the patio when it was pouring and raining, but we were still extremely comfortable. The patio is fully enclosed by a tarp like material and they have many heaters, as well as many lamps. This place was pricey but delicious and we would definitely be back here!

Yelp
I love that this place takes big group reservations. Came here twice for bachelorette parties. First time I think it was a group of 8 and the second time a group of 10. I had to change my reservation party size and move up the reservation time and the hosts accommodated. Very friendly service and attentive. The waiter offered to take pictures for us and allowed us more time to decide what to order. I'd definitely recommending sharing dishes so you can try everyone and get a taste of the artistry of the menu. My favorites were the chicken, octopus, a beef dish. The rest were very good but not as memorable. The bread and the garlic dip were absolutely amazing. We could not get enough of it. Highly recommend. Big restaurant with great ambiance.

Yelp
If I could give 100 stars, I would. Each bite of each dish left me speechless. No favorites as everything was amazing! Worth every dime. Best scallops I ever had, risotto was creamy and the ravioli was rich. Our server took his time with us and made great suggestions on specials of the days. I can't wait to go back!

Yelp
For a well known restaurant in Napa, Bottega was disappointing. Server forgot to give us bread and when we asked for it, she just realized it then. Food came out pretty late and a bit bland. The saving grace was the sorbet. Bathroom is also not properly maintained.

Yelp
The waitstaff were super helpful and patient as we were on a girl's weekend trip bent on gossiping whilst dining out. The food was intensely yummy and the atmosphere posh yet comfortable. Highly recommend the shrimp pasta and the carbonara pasta. Just to die for. Their cocktails are served beautifully. If alcohol is not your jam, they also have great cocktails!!

Yelp
Came here to celebrate a friend's birthday and we had such a good time! We were a party of 13 people, and they did such a great job of accommodating us. We sat outside, but had plenty of warmth from the heaters. We loved the dim lighting and intimate feel of their outdoor seating. And the service was spectacular! Our server was attentive, animated, and very kind, even with our big group. He also was able to split our checks with no problem at all! Now, on to the food. Um, DELICIOUS. My husband ordered the raviolo, which was super creamy and rich -- a very decadent way to enjoy your dinner! I ordered the bolognese which was amazing! It was so well seasoned, filling, and just the right portion size. Some honorable mentions from the table were the carbonara and the braised short ribs as well. Such a great place to gather and share a meal. Definitely a must try in Yountville!
