My experience was absolutely fabulous. I’m really glad I got try Bottino on a quiet night. I decided to sit in the window, treated myself to a modern Italian dining experience and people watching. Ambience and energy was very relaxed. The decor is FABULOUS! The staff was very friendly, shout out to Kade. Kade has that “IT” factor when it comes to customer service. I arrived starving and wanted to experience a “chelsea” neighborhood vibe and Bottino delivered! Basically I went with Kade’s recommendations, enjoyed the Prosciutto San Daniele to start… DELISH, Seared Salmon on point… and dessert 🍨 was super rich. My favorite part about this experience was another local NY’er ended up sitting in the window beside me, we ended up chatting the entire time and will make a return visit for another experience.

We had a beautiful wedding at Bottino back in September 28th this year and I just wanted to give a big shout out to Bottino's team especially Sydney and Devon for being so easy to work with and the assistance and support they gave us made our wedding planning so much easier. We had a full buyout on a Sunday with about 50 guests in total and the space was just perfect for everyone to roam around freely, it wasn't too crowded nor too empty. We did used a couple of vendors they recommended, from planning to menu tasting to executing on the day of, the whole experience was just seamless. Big shoutout to Sydney for always being so reassuring, she's extremely responsive, whether it's updating the seating charts, the timeline or the vendors follow up, they were all done in a timely manner. We had only 7 months to plan the entire wedding and if there's one thing that I didn't need to worry about during the planning, it will be Bottino for sure. All of our guests praised for the food being delicious and said they would come back to the restaurant and try other items on the menu, especially the tiramisu!(Though my personal favorite would be the pecan pie!) Thank you Bottino for giving us such a memorable wedding celebrations and we can't wait to celebrate our first year anniversary at Bottino next year! I highly recommend them if you're looking for a romantic intimate wedding in NYC!

I had my microwedding at Bottino on 9/20/2025, and I have nothing but praise for the entire team. Many couples describe wedding planning as stressful and overwhelming, but my husband and I can confidently say we did not experience that. The special events team at Bottino was absolutely fabulous—making the entire process feel easy, seamless, and almost effortless. I frequently emailed Sydney, Devon, and Danny with questions, and they were always quick, professional, and attentive in their responses. Their vast experience with weddings and other events truly shows, and I would wholeheartedly recommend Bottino to anyone looking to host a special occasion. I’m already looking forward to visiting Bottino again in the future!

We had a wonderful dinner at BOTTINO this past Sunday. From the food to the service, everything was exceptional. Our server, whose name unfortunately escapes us, though we recall she's Colombian; warm, attentive, and genuinely hospitable. My partner thoroughly enjoyed her steak, and I appreciated the thoughtful recommendation from our server as well. We look forward to dining here again soon.

Bottino is a true Chelsea gem! We’ve been coming here for years, and it never disappoints. The house made pastas were perfectly al dente, the fresh seafood dishes bursting with flavor, and the seasonal ingredients really shine. The year round garden patio is magical cozy, romantic, and feels like an escape from the city. Service was warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming, just like real Tuscan hospitality. Highly recommend for date night, celebrations, or just a delicious Italian meal. We’ll be back again soon! Mike.

We have enjoyed several delightful dinners at Bottino and have held two events there. Most recently we hosted a cocktails + dinner party for 24 people, which was a rousing success. The events staff was exceptionally helpful with all aspects of planning, the food was wonderful -- and accommodated all dietary restrictions -- and the space was warm and inviting. Our guests all had a great time, and so did we! Highly recommend.

Beautiful garden area in the back. Food was excellent, especially the squid ink pasta dish. Branzino portion was small but it was tasty. Bread pudding was excellent, so was the tomato stracistella salad. Was a bit pricey but the atmosphere was really nice.

I had my bridal shower at Bottino, and I truly could not have asked for a better experience! The space is so elegant and gorgeous, and the staff went above and beyond to make everything perfect. They were incredibly helpful with setup, welcoming guests, and assisting with every little detail throughout the event. I am so grateful to have celebrated such a special day here and highly recommend Bottino to anyone looking for a private event space. A major shoutout to Devon, who was the main contact day of. It was very easy to make reservations for a large party here. Upon arrival, our table was not ready but we didn't wait too long. We were seated in a private enclosed outdoor area in the back with heaters. The heaters were not strong enough for chilly winter weather, but the ambience was great. We ordered fried artichokes, arancini and burratas to share. The arancini was hot, cheesy and delicious- I would order again. The burrata was second best with fresh figs. For main dishes I tried the burger and the bolognese. The burger looked better than it tasted, but was still good. The potatoes were perfectly crisped. The bolognese was rich and the pasta was perfectly chewy. Small portions with high prices for every dish, but that was expected for a restaurant in Chelsea. Overall, I would recommend this place if you're looking for a nice space to celebrate with a large party.

A noisy Italian spot with an outdoor dining area in the back for larger parties, this was a spot for a group dinner (about 30 of us). They had a couple servers for drinks and water, and while they lasted through the speaking section of the group meeting, they were busy and disappeared the rest of the meal (I had an empty water cup throughout most of dinner unfortunately). Long wait between courses. Shared appetizers - carrot salad, a little arancini, burrata, and market salad were ok, though light for half the table to share for each serving; felt like a small bite each. Vinaigrettes on the market salad were a bit too light, didn't contribute much to the dish. The hazelnut vinaigrette for the roasted carrots... saw the barest hint, but didn't contribute much there. Main - cavatelli funghi was good, I liked the mushrooms and asparagus and the pasta sauce was nice and balanced. Asparagus was a nice touch inside, chopped. The dessert of a mixed berry with zabaglione was good, tart and a hint of sweet. Overall reasonably good food, but I've had more attentive service.

Had a great time on a last minute reservation. Casual and fancy ambiance. Service was excellent and friendly. Very timely. Had an overcharge on wine but they quickly fixed the issue. 1. Burrata - fresh and good mix of ingredients with fig and pear 2. Chicken and duck liver - very smooth and comes with Concord grape jam which was delicious 3. Steak - cooked perfectly medium as expected and not overly salted. Great steak quality. Comes with lots of mushrooms 4. Squid ink pasta - with deshelled mussels which was lightly fishy tasting but delicious! 5. Chocolate pudding - very good and dark chocolate tasting 6. Affogato - refreshing was to have a shot of espresso. Had it with amaro which they give plenty of and I liked it was separate. Good limited single glass wine list Overall a great time here and would gladly come again! Highly recommended!

A group of 5 of us dined here last Sunday at 5pm. We made a reservation and requested to be seated in the garden, which they graciously accommodated by arranging the tables to seat 5. Though I arrived with only one other member of my party, we were seated immediately while we waited for the others. Because we came right at opening, the restaurant was mostly empty. It was max only 2/3 full by the time we left around 7:30pm, so I can't comment on service during a busy time. With that said, the service was very attentive. The waiters (we basically had 2) kept our glasses full, brought our dishes out in a timely manner, and replaced silverware without us having to ask. They also were able to easily answer questions about the menu. I was excited for the menu because of its unusual pairing of flavors: Tajín aioli with arancini, for example. However, the seasoning missed the mark in a few cases. I think the stars were the appetizers and the desserts, namely the arancini, the summer salad, and the bread pudding. The pasta and entrees were either on the salty side, in the case of the bolognese, or underseasoned in the case of the Branzino. Also the starter of bread (not pictured), was not served warm, which was unexpected. The summer salad had a great balance of sweetness, tartness, and richness from the grilled stone fruits, straciatella, and balsamic. The arancini was perfectly cooked, hot and gooey in the center, the Tajin aioli providing a nice kick of spice to balance the mildness of the rice and cheese. The pecan bar wasn't overly sweet, and the pecans contributed a great flavor, but the crust was a bit tough to break through with just a dessert spoon. The bread pudding was great, just unlike typical bread pudding, in that it was less dense. The chocolate tiramisu probably didn't need the chocolate as it overwhelmed the delicate flavor of the custard. I can't fully comment on the drinks menu, as everyone in our party stuck with water except for one. The one sip I had of his orange wine tasted fruity and crisp, as expected. The garden setting was also beautiful in the evening, though I did get 3 mosquito bites while sitting there. Overall, we enjoyed ourselves and we especially liked the appetizers and desserts. The service was great and the prices were reasonable, though the appetizer portions could've been bigger for sharing. Keeping in mind this experience, we would make some adjustments to our selections, but we would come back. 3.5/5

Another NYC gem! Tucked away off of 10th Ave. but well worth the travel from the closest train station. Came with reservations and was quickly sat. Had the option to sit indoor or in their outdoor/covered garden. The ambiance was nice. Both wonderful options. The food was very good and service was top notch. Kim was our server and was magnificent. Very attentive and helpful. Ordered the deviled eggs as an app with the bread basket. Deviled eggs were "different" but pretty good but the pastas were the true highlight. Would have loved the bread to be toasted. Great date night spot and I'm sure a neighborhood gem!

This place was such a pleasant surprise. I wasn't expecting anything, I picked the restaurant based on location but it was perfect. It was easy to get a reservation. I had the fried artichokes, butter lettuce salad and the cappelletti with sunchoke, butternut squash and mascarpone. Everything was absolutely delicious. The waiters were very attentive. The place itself is beautiful, we sat insight and it was very comfortable and the noise volume was good. They even surprised my friend with a birthday cake, which I wasn't expecting. Would definitely come here again and try the outdoor seating.

Good but not nearly worth the money. Portions are small, price is large. Too many other options in NYC to spend this kind of money

We used Bottino for our wedding ceremony and reception Jan 25, 2025. We were lucky enough to get to use the main room for our reception, the garden lit so beautifully with the stars and lights from outside for our ceremony, and the "pool room" for our reception. Everything from the patience and guidance in planning, a special nod to Devon on that, the cocktails, food, service, staff, and general ambience, made it special for us and our guests. Many of whom commented on what a beautiful wedding we had. Bottino played a major role in that and we would highly recommend to others.

My fiancé proposed to me at Bottino, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. He secretly coordinated everything with the manager to make the day extra special. The staff was incredibly kind and accommodating, and the food was absolutely phenomenal. The steak and fish were cooked to perfection, the pasta was beautifully al dente, and both the arancini rice balls and salad were exceptional. We didn't think we had room for dessert, but since we were already there, we decided to go for it--and I'm so glad we did. We ordered the Tuscan bread pudding with vanilla gelato, and oh my goodness, it was out of this world. It was perfectly balanced, not too sweet, but rich and comforting. Since my fiancé couldn't step away from work to get flowers, he asked the restaurant to arrange for at least 90 roses, and they made it happen. If you're looking for a place to celebrate a special occasion or simply enjoy an incredible meal, I can't recommend Bottino enough.

I attended a 50-person event here, and it was a great experience. They did a great job of the flow between a ceremony and rearranging for sit-down dinner. The patio with the greenery around makes one feel like she is in a city forest. It truly feels like an escape from the city despite being in a great location. The food was great! We loved all the pass around items before the main meal as well as the dinner dishes. The steak was probably the winner at the table, and I was wild about the arugula salad. The waiters did a great job keeping our glasses full. I can't speak directly to the event planning experience since it was my friends' event, but they said it was overall really great and easy leading up to the event. Very memorable!

A delicious Italian restaurant in Chelsea with homemade pasta. We ate here for my husband's birthday and it was very special! They have 3 different seating areas inside, and I covered outdoor patio with beautiful lighting. We shared the food family style - ordered a bunch of appetizers and pastas. It is great for large groups as well as small dinner dates. Highly recommend for a special occasion!

Absolutely beautiful and romantic! This restaurant is stunning and exudes such a romantic atmosphere--it's no surprise they host a lot of weddings here. I didn't sit in the outdoor garden due to the temperature, but they did have heated lamps for those who wanted to enjoy the space. It's perfect for a date night, a group gathering, a girls' night out--really, all of the above! The food was absolutely amazing. I made a few modifications to the dishes I ordered, and the chef was incredibly attentive and detail-oriented, ensuring everything met our needs perfectly. I also ordered a bottle of wine, which was fantastic. The service was top-notch--I couldn't have asked for a better experience. I will definitely be returning!

Was here for the NYE late night package! Definitely not the normal situation with a pre fixe menu and a DJ. However, I need to give them a review and props for their great service. One of the partners were there to make sure everything went well that night and the waiter was super nice. It's a great option to have a delicious dinner and some upbeat music without doing one of those other big NYE events. Delicious lobster bisque and skirt steak! Plus more champagne than we needed!

Classy, delicious, expensive. The fried artichokes are a can't miss appetizer. The seared branzino was absolutely delicious. Nice wine list. Excellent service from the bar to our table. The heated outdoor patio made it possible to accommodate our health safety needs for a business dinner. So many dollar signs but that's how it is in New York. Not the most remarkable meal I've had here but very solid on the excellence level.

Let's start with the positive(s). We (a couple) walked in without a reservation circa 7pm on a Thursday. The hostess was exceedingly nice and accommodating given they had events on that day and a full house and said we needed to finish dinner by 9. We assured her we would and sat down. It was downhill from there despite a very pleasant but clueless young waitress. We started with a glass of wine and asked for their "artisanal" bread basked which purported to have blackened spring onion butter, oil & grove extra virgin olive oil. What came was cold bread that was clearly not baked in-house and a pasty black mass that was supposed to be the butter! We asked the young lady to heat up the bread which she promptly did. We then moved on to ordering dinner. My wife, being a vegetarian, asked for vegetarian sides from the "contorni" (asparagus, russet potatoes and broccoli rabe) to be put together as a "main course" and I ordered "bavette cacio e pepe" with grana padano, pecorino, black pepper, olive oil. What came for my wife was a mass of boiled broccoli rabe! !!! I was a tad luckier as the grana padano added some flavor to the bland pasta. I will end with one more positive - the restaurant's ambience is very nice with comfortable tables and chairs and an airy open backyard.

We dined here on a Saturday night after our son had selected this for his wedding reception next year. We found the staff to be incredibly helpful in planning the event. We also found the food to be incredible. We had a meal that lasted well over two hours, which was exactly what we needed to go over some details regarding the event. At no point will rushed, the staff was attentive when necessary and distant when we would have preferred them to be distant. We dined in their back patio, and found it to be lovely. Obviously, we will be coming back, but I would strongly suggest this as a worthy local place.

TLDR: An unassuming but delicious and beautiful Italian spot in Chelsea. The ambience of the restaurant was so unexpected with its twinkly lights and super spacious interior. The service was great, our waiter was able to recommend a delicious wine for the table. Of the appetizers- I recommend ordering the Burrata. It was so fresh and paired well with the prosciutto. The stars were definitely the pasta dishes, the sauce was emulsified and pasta itself cooked al dente.

This is one of those restaurants that you may decide to pass on because the outside doesn't look so great. Don't be fooled, it's beautiful and spacious on the inside with a patio to boot. I was there for a corporate event, so the patio and back room were blocked out for us. We also had a limited menu choice. What I had was excellent. I had the Branzino entree, an Angels Envy neat, and a salad with blue cheese and pomegranate seeds. It is very warm and cozy, romantic, and welcoming. The staff is outstanding. Remember to tip well.

Gorgeous hidden gem of a place with a large outdoor garden patio in the back! A great place to escape NYC hustle and bustle while dining on delicious bites. My favorites are the ricotta bruschetta with apricot jam, arancini, sliced skirt steak (huge portion - this ended up being two meals for me!), and berries with cream. I would skip the little gem salad. Sounds great on paper, but a little too overdressed. Wheelchair access: ramp from the street, a little tight around the entryway so be prepared to wait for people at the bar to move. The garden in the back is accessible. I saw a door to an accessible restroom but did not use it. Staff helpful!

A delicious Italian restaurant in the heart of Chelsea! We arrived for an early dinner and picked an outdoor seating option. They have a cute patio with overhead cover and fans. It was a beautiful setup! The food tasted fresh and so well-seasoned. We got the Little Gems Salad to start and Cavatelli Alla Norma and Mafaldine as mains. The appetizer was fresh and generous with crab meat. The pastas were SO delicious! The Mafaldine was the star of the show but the Cavatelli was also a hit. The service was wonderful. Overall, wonderful food and ambiance. I would visit again!

This is such a cute spot and you would never tell by the outside how neat this place is. There's actually a little bit of outdoor seating near the back and you feel like you're in a forest canopy with all the greenery there. Service was super attentive too. We ordered a lot to share but the pasta is excellent out of everything tried. I liked the cacio pepe and bologense. Branzino was also really well prepared without bones, head or tail. Also I normally don't have a sweet tooth but the dessert was really good here. The tiramisu had a good balance of textures leaning on the creamier end and the gelato was perfect on a good day.

I always pass by Bottino and finally, I was able to check it out! LOVE the interior/ambiance and super cute inside. The food was good and has a great selection of wine and cocktails. It's not my top Italian restaurant but I'd go back to try the tiramisu and the tagliatelle bolognese. Also for the ambiance too. Definitely has great vibes! What I ordered: - fried artichokes with lemon, mint, chili-flake, sea salt - bavette cacio pepe: grana padano, pecorino, black pepper, olive oil (must get!) - cavatelli alla norma: charred eggplant, tomato, pepper, mint, smoked ricotta salata (it was okay, I wouldn't get this)

My best friend had her bridal shower at Bottino. Staff was very accommodating. It was a great set up and the food was amazing. I had the bolognese which was incredible and also tried Cacio e Pepe and Branzino. The bolognese was one of the most delicious meals I've ever had.

Love this place! Their patio is super cute! My husband and I had our anniversary dinner here and when we came they brought celebratory champagne for us right away! Our server was super friendly and attentive! We had bruschetta to share (it was just one piece of bread with tomatoes) I had the tagliatelle pasta and he had lamp chops which was good with the eggplant yogurt creamy sauce! Sounds weird but went really well with the lamp chops which made it yummy! We finished our dinner off with chocolate tiramisu and glad we did! I don't usually like tiramisu's but my husband loves them and this one was really good actually! Highly recommend this place. We love coming here! We also had our wedding here, Danny and his team made our day magical! Food was great then and is even better now! They didn't have the lobster pasta anymore which I loved but hope to see it back on sometime soon!

A good neighborhood spot is only that when it enjoys learned leadership. Bottino is that spot because Anthony is there, bringing a love for well-turned cuisine, familiarity, and generosity to your visit. Bottino is a spot where a cocktail becomes a lingering dinner because a neighbor bumps into you on the way and decides to join you. Be it the execution of your fave cocktail, or a recommendation from their great range of wines, you can sink back into that banquette and enjoy the colorful parade that is Tenth Avenue--or face into the room for what are usually rather good-looking fellow patrons. No one will rush you, but you know you should have a little salty something to ride alongside that drink, so just order those frittered artichokes already. But don't stop there--order another glass of red and sink into that duck and chicken liver parfait, which is perfection with a hunk of Bottino's warm, crusty house-made bread. Fancy pasta? You'll find it hard to choose from the cavatelli, the tagliatelle, or the cappelletti. One of us always tucks into the branzino or skate wing. I always recommend passing a few things around and sharing with everyone. There's something to make anyone in your group happy, so keep it local chez Bottino. We were thrilled Anthony's made it such a go-to. He was always so welcoming to us at Zampa and Barocco; that he's steps from home assures us we'll never go hungry or feel unloved in our shared corner of Chelsea.

Very few restaurants embody classic Chelsea like Bettino except the now long gone Red Cat. Their garden is legendary and now we dine outdoors through the seasons. It's so tranquil back there and a lovely dinner we had tonight. Ate: Mushroom barley soup Salmon and greens Short ribs Volpiccella Bittersweet chocolate pudding I didn't pay so I don't know the total. Fantastic mushroomy soup perfect for alfresco dining. The salmon was perfectly cooked and went well though an unusual match with the volpicella. The bittersweet chocolate pudding and whipped cream and crunch was delicious. Still an exciting sexy Chelsea spot that exudes city chic. Service was impeccable btw.

Started with bread for the table (complimentary) and a bottle of Pinot Noir which was delicious. We got the artichokes as an appetizer and they were so good. Perfectly crispy on the outside pieces of the artichoke hearts and soft on the inside- would highly recommend starting with this! I got the Bolognese and loved that there was shredded meat on top of my pasta. The sauce and the pasta worked beautifully. My friends got a few other dishes, notably the scallops and the squid ink pasta. The scallops were over a fresh corn salad and it was so perfect for the summer weather. Of course the venue here makes it all the better, but what we appreciated the most was our wonderful waiter! He was so kind and friendly to us, we enjoyed having him. He even topped off our glasses when we finished our bottle of Pinot noir! Will be coming back!

What a charming little restaurant! When I originally made my reservation, I had booked a patio table. Unfortunately, there was a Sat night event so we got bumped. The owner/host called me a few weeks before the reservation to let me know of the change and offered to reschedule for a Thursday night which worked out perfectly for my friends and I. Upon our arrival we were seated inside (another event on the patio) and offered a complimentary glass of Prosecco for the change to our resy. I can't fault the owner for wanting to have events on their patio. It's really charming and NYC restaurants are struggling to get back to the norm so I'm happy to accommodate their efforts. The food was delicious! I started with the steak tartare and my friends the bruschetta with avocado puree and chick peas. For my main course, I opted not for pasta but the lamb chops. Let me say, I was super happy with my dinner. The lamb chops were cooked to a perfect medium rare. My friends ordered the sliced seared steak and the cavatelli alla Norma which had a little spicy kick to it. We ended up ordering the bavette cacio de pepe to split amongst the three of us and it was so good! We were pretty full after a delicious dinner but opted to order some gelato because i always need my bite of dessert. I am definitely coming back the next time I'm in the Big Apple. Maybe next time I'll get lucky and have a patio table! :)

This place has been around for 25 years! We waited a bit to be seated but Anthony the manager was above and beyond and gave us champagne while we waited. When we were finally seated we ordered a round of espresso martinis as well as spicy margaritas. They were delicious. Pro tip: ask for a tajin rim on the margarita. We started off with the brussels sprouts which are hands-down my favorite side dish here. I've tried a lot of brussels sprouts in the city and these are definitely top three. We also started off with the Barada and prosciutto, which could've came with more bread considering there were six of us -however they were quick to give us more when you asked. Alyssa was very sweet and gave us the history of the restaurant as well as some of the staff and was very helpful. I started it off of with the agnolotti which was delicious in sage butter. The delicious pockets of butternut squash bursted in my mouth with every bite. My friend said the Cascio a Pepe as well as the Taglioni bolognese pasta were delicious as well - really depends on your pallet and what you prefer. I was looking for a lighter pasta dish so I chose the Agnolotti. I would definitely recommend this place if you're looking for a more intimate delicious Italian meal perfect for date nights!

Just had a wonderful evening here. Cozy beautiful restaurant with outstanding food and service. Great wine selection too! A must is their fried artichoke appetizer!!!

Decent food, great outdoor seating, but pricy and busy staff. Food: the food is ok, I don't think it's the best Italian food I've had, but was not bad. I got the arancini, which was not as flavorful as most arancini. I also got their special, the capalleti, and it was very heavy but had a good flavorS Service: the service was fine Price: very expensive for what it is. I don't think the portion sizes or the taste justifies the cost. Ambience: best part of the restaurant was the outdoor garden space. It's heated, but was still very cold. I really liked the outdoor space.

With summer in full swing, many NYC restaurants are embracing outdoor dining as a way to entice diners to give their stoves at home a break. I found Bottino through TimeOut NY's list of outdoor restaurants and was happy to see that the outdoor patio was just as pictured. The ample canopy and open passageway to the inner dining room made it a surprisingly comfortable setting despite the sticky summer heat. The menu wasn't that extensive but had some unique dishes like the Seared Mediterranean Octopus. The octopus was grilled to achieve a bouncy, yet soft texture and tasted great with the Cavatelli Alla Norma we also ordered. I also really enjoyed the toasted bread, sundried tomatoes, and eggplant that are layered beneath the octopus. Each soaked up some of the flavors from it, and the octopus itself had pockets of spice, maybe from peppercorn. I'd definitely recommend the octopus over the Cavatelli, which was solid but didn't taste like anything special. I also ordered a watermelon Daiquiri, which seemed to have very little alcohol. Lovely ambiance, notable cleanliness, and a safe venue to enjoy a dinner outside.

The cacio e pepe here is one of the best pastas I've ever eaten. The texture of the pastas are perfectly al dente, I don't think they can do better in Italy! For the second course, the branzino is expertly cooked and falls off the skin in perfect little flakes. Cocktails are very good as well. They have a nice little outdoor patio which is perfect for the evening when it's not too hot.

The ambience in this airy Italian bistro is a Spring delight with pink peonies everywhere and the peacock blue sky visable through the lattice roof. Everything was delicious and the service was top notch, everyone all smiles. We started with a cocktail called a "Bottino", which was similar to a Bellini with fiero, grapefruit + Prosecco. The glass size was generous. I have to order gazpacho when I see it on a menu. This was perfect. Green herbs floating in a perfectly chilled soup, just the right consistency + piquantness. The branzino fillet was divine with delicious garlicky spinach + potatoes. I would have preferred the spinach to be without stems, but that's a minor pet peeve. For dessert, my one friend had an apple tart which she said was very good. The other friend had the zabaglione which she pronounced to be "fair" and I had the mango sorbet with whipped cream . I highly recommend this place if your destination is Chelsea. There's an excellent parking garage right across the street. The attendant actually stood in the street + stopped traffic, so I could make a difficult left turn.

What a wonderful experience to have my daughter's beautiful Bridal shower at Bottino. Devon was wonderful, as was the staff and the service. Food was delicious, and the garden room was simply gorgeous! All the guests raved about this restaurant!!

Had a fantastic dinner here by chance after attending an event at a gallery nearby. It was such an amazing surprise. This is not just a neighborhood restaurant. It is worth traveling for. The Cacio E Pepe is the best I've ever had a pork ragu special was also incredible. It is rare to get pasta that is as good as what you can find in Italy but Bottino did it. Anthony has an amazing ability to make everyone feel like a friend. He is an amazing host, spent a lot of time joking with us and letting us taste wines until we found the one we liked. And sent us a plate of artichokes, which were spectacular. The arancini were delectable. I be making a trip back here for sure.

Had a wonderful dinner with my daughters a month or so ago. I am so late with my reviews! I go to the city often as i have 2 daughters living there now. Bottino was such a great find! So close to Hudson Yards, thus very convenient for us. Such a lovely , spacious restaurant with nice atmosphere and a lovely wine list. Everything we had was delicious, from the shareable size salad and burrito to the artichokes and then the homemade pasta. The sommelier was delightful and helpful. Can't wait to return for Mother's Day,

Amazing in every way!! The food was excellent, wine was excellent, the atmosphere was amazing in a beautiful building, and the service was top tier. Anthony treated us so well and gave us a great experience. We are definitely coming back soon to check out their backyard tables! P.s. try their olive oil cake

Never had a bad meal here. Every time I've come it's been an amazing experience with fabulous service, great food, and a lovely ambiance. If it's a nice evening try to sit in the outdoor space outside, the trees hanging over really make it feel special. Such a gem of a restaurant, would highly recommend. For food - the arancini is some of the best I've ever had. We got a few of the pasta dishes and they were all unbelievable. I got the special which was a braised short rib ravioli and was delicious.

This was a last minute choice, as Italianissimo up on East 84th was fully booked....I'm glad it was! My friend made an early reservation for 6. We arrived early, and were seated immediately The look of the place is really cool, nicely decorated for Christmas! The crowd is eclectic..ranging from millennials to sophisticated baby boomers. We told Anna our waitress, that the friend, who was late, was a wine aficionado, would be joining us shortly. So she sent over Anthony the sommelier. The wine list was nice and manageable. So I text my friend and said I'm ordering a montepulciano The immediate response is great! When they arrive we indulged decadently. Ordering appetizers, the cheese board, burrata.and then the entrees. Veal and chicken which we share.

Great chelsea gem. A bit pricey but that comes with the area I suppose Large area and even a patio of sorts even though I've only been in the winter. The back room is perfect for larger groups Convenient coat check in. Prompt and friendly service. I had the roasted and baked whole fish (Branzino) which I have to say was delicious I'm glad they kept it simolenbecause it really brings the taste of the fish out. The potatoes and the sliced oranges are a perfect complimentary taste and balance to the fish. The Spaghetti Nero (squid ink pasta, bread crumbs, salmon roe, crab and cherry tomatoes) is unique but be prepared for a proper heavy sea food flavor probably because of the salmon roe. They had run out of Pinot Noir and also non alcoholic beer which is fine I suppose. We just had water. The food really does capture the night. The dessert we tried was the olive oil cake which is like a heavy, square cut dense pound cake deeply baked and served with vanilla ice cream. Must try. Our total bill with the above was $92.

Love the location and unique ambiance of Bottino! I've had their sandwiches at their location next door which are delicious but this review is specifically for their drinks. I've been here twice now for drinks with friends. Their gin-based drinks are some of the best I've had in the city. During the summer they had a cucumber gimlet that I still think about all the time. It was served in a beautiful stemmed glass and was delicious in every sip. The Botanist is my favorite drink here right now, it has the perfect light sweetness and the pine-like flavor of the gin accents it wonderfully. I tried a margarita here as well and didn't think it was very good. Stick to the gin drinks! Can't wait to come back and try some of their food items as well!

A fun little restaurant on the Westside of Manhattan in the Chelsea district. There's actually a little area of outdoor seating in the back of the restaurant and which gives you the feeling of being in a lush forest. The staff is friendly and the portions are nice. They do host many private parties here which looks like they do an excellent job in catering to your needs and tastes. Our friends had the burgers which were big and juicy. I had the pasta alla norma, which was excellent. The pasta was perfect and the sauce was fresh with just the right balance between sweet and spicy.

I'm going to preface this by saying that I am new to the city and its been difficult finding a good pasta. I have had good food in the past and always have high expectations. Bottino exceeded all of my expectations and will definitely be returning! I made a resi the day of and upon arrival the staff was very nice and welcoming. Our waitress communicated with us at all times and was very kind. We ordered the fried artichoke and ricotta w/ bread as appetizers and both were soooo good! I ordered the cacio e pepe and it was wonderful! it was my first time trying that pasta and it did not disappoint. I will say that it was a little salty for my preference but nonetheless delicious. Bottino has a nice ambience and everything was very clean.

Food is fine, staff is ok, room is beautiful. So why two stars? Table of six last weekend and, when the waiter came around with the water asked "sparkling or still?" I replied "we're fine with tap water." Two other people, when asked the same question, gave the same answer. We have our meal and then the check comes which includes, surprise surprise, four bottles of $10 water. I mentioned it to the waiter, who didn't really have an answer. So...$50 (of course there's tax and tip) for water that we specifically didn't ask for.

Such a great hidden gem of an Italian restaurant tucked away on 10th ave! Came here before the mckittrick speak easy magic show and was not disappointed. The casarecce duck ragu is probably the best pasta dish I've had all year. I've been craving it since I had it weeks ago. The duck was super tender and casarecce pasta paired really nicely with its texture and shape. Tons of seating indoors and outdoors in their back patio.

The butternut squash pasta was delicious and the Bolognese was equally as delicious. The service was good, my only gripe was the price for the amount of food you get. This place is very much quality over quantity.
