Super friendly, quick, great atmosphere - let's get that out of the way. The food is some of the BEST BBQ I've ever had. I actually did NOT LIKE any of their sauces (very much vinegar based and just personally not my style). But you know it is good BBQ because it absolutely does not rely on sauce at all. We loved their brisket Philly Cheesesteak. We then got a 2-meat platter with mac n' cheese (the BEST I've had, super creamy and cheesy) and Pork n' beans (pretty good). The ribs fall right off but also hold their own just right, with a nice crust and spice rub. The brisket was super tender and with a fantastic crust/rub as well - paired magically with the mac n' cheese. Last, we did try the stew they had and it was quite good with several meats in it. Highly recommend! I would love to come back if only for more brisket and mac.

Their Collard / Yam mix is so darn delicious! Mac n Cheese is super creamy and flavorful! Great tasting sauces and meats! I've been coming here for a while, and had to get my fix once again! Never any disappointments ever! The sides match the flavors of the meats which is so hard to come by in Portland. I had the Buffalo Chicken & Blue Cheese sausage along with the Pulled Pork on this round. Pickles, & pickled onions are delightful!

Great place to grab bbq for the family! Baby loved everything except the Pork n Beans - they were a bit spicy! Delicious, fall off the bone meat and wonderful sides. Excellent service, too!!

Crazy good BBQ! I enjoyed their pastrami special in sandwich form. The service is great, I asked about 9 questions during a busy lunch rush (sorry) and they were patient and knowledgeable. Definitely going to order catering from them!

A must try if you even remotely enjoy BBQ. This is the best BBQ in the Portland area, hands down. Everything was perfectly moist and tender, everything was seasoned expertly, and it was so filling. We intentionally didn’t eat anything before this so we’d show up hungry and we thought for sure we would devour every bite, but we still ended up taking home leftovers. You will not regret eating here, just be sure to get here early because they sell out of stuff fast!

Everything I look for in a barbecue place is at its peak performance here: absolutely tender brisket, meaty ribs, sides packed with flavor, surprisingly tangy sauces with perfect balance, friendly staff, happy, clientele, fast service! I’ll be coming back, and recommending this to everyone

I cannot wait to come back. They're dishing out some of the best mac n cheese in the city here. The sausage was snappy and the brisket was really great as well. Definitely will come back and get some kielbasa and some of the Texas hot links.

Really impressed with the BBQ. The ribs were very moist with the perfect little tug to remove from the bone. The sauce was on the side as it should be when the meat is that well prepared. Sides were great with the beans and spicy mac&cheese the stars at our table. Staff was very friendly and the food was ready quickly. Limited parking behind the building but street parking was available too. It was pretty busy at 1PM on a Wednesday with most of the indoor tables in use and half of the outdoor picnic tables were busy.
