Biscuits & gravy are baaaangin’. Seriously one of the best I had in Chi. The biscuits are buttery, flakey, while the gravy was thick and luscious!!! Kids menu portions are really nice as well. Back of the house is keeping this place busy, I was so impressed with the kitchen and their timing. Everything was fine up until my server gave me an attitude when I asked for silverware AFTER the food was ran to my son and I. I was polite and gracious knowing she was triple sat, and that she would get around to me when she could. The audacity that I was inconveniencing her when I asked for silverware is beyond me. On top of that, I asked for a lavender latte and she implied it was going to take a while. Again, I was inconveniencing her so I just opted for a regular coffee. She did bring me a side of lavender, but really would have liked a latte instead. I recommend improvement on coffee service as a spoon was also not ran along with it. I also felt rushed, and again inconveniencing her the whole time. I didn’t feel welcome during my experience nor valued as a guest. Hospitality needs major improvement as the sense of entitlement is absolutely ridiculous. The irony of it all is that she only started to be nice to me after I paid and tipped her 18%.

The food was amazing and perfectly cooked. The place was clean and the overall environment was friendly. Anthony was a great server!

My brother and I got to check out BB and I will say it was a very different kind of restaurant in a good way. The food quality was really good and you could tell how passionate they are about the food. The Service was pretty good. Kind of had that old 60’s diner feel. And the atmosphere was pleasant and the vibe really was open and welcoming. Do yourself a favor and give Boulevard Bistro and you won’t be disappointed!

My partner and I shared the steak skillet together. It’s about normal size. We ordered it with the pancakes and some juices. It all came out to about $30 something dollars. The pancakes were actually really good! We finished the whole plate. The steak skillet was also amazing. The steak was seasoned perfectly. The potatoes were crispy and soft. Will definitely be coming here more often as one of our new breakfast spot.

This place is amazing! Every thing we had was tasty! It's a simple menu but all the food is complex and layered. Each bite bursts with such flavor, nothing disappoints. The coffee is plentiful, the lattes are inventive, and the juice is fresh. The service is spectacular, the servers are kind and accommodating. Don't miss out on this place, it's a gem!

Boulevard is a gem!! Everything is so good, but definitely try to cobb panini, corned beef hash, and tuna melt. The mushroom soup is also so good, and fries are fantastic. The owner is wonderful - she is so personable and remembers her regulars. Clean, great atmosphere, fast service, good food, great prices. What more could you want??

Absolutely phenomenal food. The skillet was loaded with vegetables, the french toast was fluffy, perfectly cooked, and had the most delicious crispy edges. Coming back tomorrow because I’m already hooked by visit number one. The owner, Daria is such a sweetheart too! She ensured we had a lovely time.

I ordered the Scrambler with Sausage, Tomatoes, cheese and spinach. The scrambler was very tasty and the eggs were nicely cooked. I ordered the French Toast as my side and I absolutely loved the French Toast. It was very good and so tasty. The side potatoes were good as well. The only thing I was not to crazy about was the coffee, it was really watered down. Very light. There was a young man who took care of us. I don't know his name but he was really nice, and very attentive.

Super cute restaurant with a great location for people watching. Large American menu for diner type food. We came for brunch and had the French toast, buffalo chicken salad wrap, and kids mac and cheese. The food was hot to order, super tasty, and good portions. They even made a yummy hot mocha with their cafe menu. The service was friendly but slow. They were busy but we still waited awhile for food. Definitely a take your time kind of restaurant. Will definitely be back.

For years, I had passed this location and kept saying that I would eventually stop by for breakfast or lunch. It was under a different name and I think that it changed since the pandemic. Nevertheless, I had a slow Sunday, so I stopped in. I played it safe with my ordering. I stuck to my go-to breakfast choices - Belgian waffle, scramble eggs, and house potatoes. The waffle was not an Eggo, which is a winner. The eggs had to have had a little bit of salt in them because I didn't need to add any. The potatoes could have used a little seasoning, but they were hot on the plate. I remember the restaurant being rather busy in the past. There was the usual brunch feel to it with the crowd waiting outside for a seat. It may be that it was cold when I went or people are still cautious with remnants of COVID lingering. I'm just glad I stopped in when I did.

Great experience for my family who has multiple dietary restrictions (gluten free and dairy free). We got a reasonably quick breakfast on a weekend, with everything arriving as ordered and very friendly service. It's not super upscale, but that makes it great setting and prices. Will be back if I'm in the area, would recommend you check it out. Thanks!

WOW I think I'm the new biggest fan of Boulevard Bistro! I had the great pleasure of going for my first time this past Sunday morning and I was blown away. To start, the vibe is amazing - it honestly took me back to my childhood with an old style diner vibe where you can sit at the bar rail. I honestly didn't even feel like I was in Chicago anymore! I had two sunny side up eggs, toast, and potatoes and it was everything I wanted and more. The food was very fresh and tasty and would definitely order the same meal again (tried and true!). My family who came with me, also thoroughly enjoyed their meals and we all said we would come back in a heartbeat. To top it off, the service was attentive, kind, and great throughout our entire meal despite the restaurant being completely full. I cannot rave enough about Boulevard Bistro - if you've never been, you definitely should and if you have been, you understand why I gave it the review that I did. Thank you, Boulevard Bistro for not only for a fantastic meal but experience as well. Cannot wait to come back!

Went for lunch today with a couple of family members. I had the Southwest Salad with grilled chicken and chipotle ranch dressing. It was fresh, attractive, and the chicken was actually grilled and hot. Super flavorful. My other family members split a turkey panini and same Southwest Salad. We all shared the fries. The sandwich was generous and grilled just right. It benefitted by smearing a bit of the chipotle dressing on the bites. The fries were meh. Service was super nice. Wonderful people. Cute, bright atmosphere. DEF be back.

Boulevard Bistro is our top choice for breakfast out. The food is outstanding, the atmosphere is comfortable and the owner and staff are lovely people.

Stopping in our way through. Nice friendly people, the got a ham and swiss on a baguette, that is kind of like a pretzel bread. very fresh and tasty! nice to find a home style place just past the fast food!

We've been going to this charming diner ever since our kids were little - it's a family favorite and everything from the eggs, to the pancakes and sandwiches are all delicious and freshly made. The owner formerly waited there and eventually bought the place out and made it even better. Friendly staff, great food and great atmosphere - oh, and the French toast is amazing! Go.

This is your standard diner. The food is nothing special. The people are friendly and there usually isn't a wait to get in. I had a Greek omelette with egg whites and a cup of coffee this morning. It came with hash browns (which were cold) and your choice of toast. The coffee is unlimited for $4 (very average coffee). My tab was $24 before tip, so $28 all in for one person. I personally would go to Lula Cafe or Longman and Eagle for brunch as the quality is much higher. But if you want a standard American breakfast, this is your spot.

My boyfriend and I came in on a busy Sunday brunch but got seated right away. It was super busy so it took a while to get a server to come to our table to order our food and coffee. We noticed the table next to us got sat after us but had received their meals before we did which was confusing. When our food did come, it was very delicious. We paid overall $40 including tax and tip.

This was the perfect spot for my little family to have a quick, sit-down lunch in the middle of running errands. The coffee was great, sandwiches tasted delicious. Service was awesome. We'll be back.

I come here quite often. Very good brunch spot and it's woman owned! Not too loud but not quiet either. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive. I usually get some type of skillet, today I got the Corned Beef Skillet and it didn't disappoint.

This place was amazing! My family stopped into this spot by chance and all loved it. The food was incredible (monte cristo sandwich, southwest salad, and two kids' pancake meals), and the staff were incredibly friendly. It's a small spot with a great corner view for little ones who like watching traffic, and there are a TON of choices on the menu. This would definitely be a go-to for us if we lived in the area. Thanks for a wonderful lunch!

Great food and great service. I tried the biscuits and gravy with eggs. It's quite during the week but slammed on weekends. Be patient it's worth it.

Stopped in for breakfast with our party of six. Promptly seated. Nice atmosphere and super friendly staff. We split the 4 egg bistro omelette. We had the breakfast potatoes and rye bread toast and a side of crispy bacon. Totally filled both of us up. My son had the breakfast sandwich also very large portion he enjoyed it. Pancakes, sausage gravy and eggs Benedict rounded out our orders. Good coffee too. Highly recommend!

Food 10 of 10...service 15/10...ambiance 11/10...devoured the food before I was able to take a pic. Had the turkey sausage scramble with a side of French toast. Scramble was amazing, French toast was best I've ever had. Fluffy yet had the right amount of crunch. Will be going again.

Loved this place and the people that run it is amazing. I brought my car to the shop and it was highly recommended... now I highly recommend it! Daria is very attentive and has a great personality. I had the GF French toast with amazing coffee while I attended a work Zoom meeting. I apologized for belting on the phone (had my ear piece in) and the time I was going to stay and she just smiled and said "you can always stay as long as you want". Now I have where to go when dropping off my car at the shop

FOOD is amazing and pricing is almost too low to believe! Service is excellent. When you order coffee, they leave a pot on the table! This is our new go to place.

I didn't like the food at all. The wrap was watery and the skillet was greasy and they only gave one slice of toast. The prices didn't match the quality or the ambience. Won't be looking forward to a second visit. There's also a surcharge for credit cards.

I've been going to Boulevard Bistro for brunch for several weeks. The food is great, the owner is so friendly and is constantly looking for ways to improve the whole experience. Definitely a great place for breakfast or lunch.

Great service and food at this cozy diner. Felt like a neighborhood spot despite its busy location. Loved listening to the waitstaff greet the regulars. I had the Denver omelet and my boyfriend went with a monte cristo. Both delicious and both had plenty of leftovers! We didn't see the specials board until too late which means we'll have to come back ASAP for the tres leches French toast.

Hidden gem! Greeted by warm and friendly staff with delicious coffee. We ordered the steak and eggs & the corned beef hash. The steak was unbelievably tender and the eggs incredibly fluffy. Corned beef hash was homemade and delicious. Be sure to try their French toast and orange marmalade! Great corner diner and will definitely be coming back.

Delicious food and nice service! Had the veggie skillet which was full of veggies and it was delicious. The toast came with two types of delicious jam. The pancakes were excellent. The noise level was moderate so we could actually hear each other and have a conversation. Parking on the street was also easy. Great experience!!

Food is delicious the chef knows the way a meal goes together. Their staff is friendly and attentive. As for the ambiance of Boulevard Bistro I'm biased because I grew up down the block. And I'm glad their up and running again. Great spot that reminds me of the Seinfeld restaurant.

I cannot say enough things about this bistro. Let me just start with the friendly and excellent service we received from Daria. She was so charming and welcoming. Our food was wonderful, I had the meat lovers skillet and my g/f had the smoked salmon benefit which made me jealous. Also, the coffee was superb. Highly recommend!

Love this place! Boulevard Bistro is the same as the former Cornerstone Cafe. The service and food are consistently excellent and the portions are generous. I really appreciate that I can order a custom omelette with my favorite vegetables and they don't mind at all. The breakfasts come with a side of pancakes (best in the city!) or french toast and there is always enough leftover for another meal.

BB is the reopening of a beloved neighborhood favorite -- Cornerstone Cafe -- under the new ownership of one of its former waitstaff and her husband. The quality remains as good if not better than before, with a slightly slimmed down and better reorganized menu. I've noted some selections are better than before; portions are large -- you won't starve here, and will probably take food home. I've never had a meal here that I didn't enjoy, and some that truly surprised! It's a comfy, simply decorated breakfast/lunch place, with terrific food and wonderful people running it. If you're in Logan Square, it's a MUST TRY place. Enjoy!

Needed to find a place to eat while charging my Tesla and came across this place with 5 stars. They earned the same rating from me! The food was very good and the service was excellent with a home vibe. I got the French toast and my friend got pancakes. We were visiting Chicago and had many breakfasts, this was top tier. i ordered coffee, the cup was poured then the carafe was left on the table and the cream was not in little plastic cups, the coffee was excellent. for breakfast i ordered the denver omelette, which came with hash browns, with a side of sourdough toast, fruit and turkey sausage. the omelette was perfectly cooked, moist and not rubbery. hash browns where not oily and didn't leave a nasty aftertaste. the toast came with a choice of jams, strawberry and marmalade in a small bowls: yum. the atmosphere was relaxed and inviting, Daria my waitress was very kind, she truly fit the atmosphere. thank you

Everything about this place is great! Coffee rocks and so does the food. Anything off the menu is fantastic.
