Brasa! My experience at Brasa in New Orleans was absolutely phenomenal from start to finish. Every dish was beautifully presented and full of flavor from the delicious appetizers (Ceviche & Pan de Bono) to the perfectly cooked steak (Vacio) and Colifor and the decadent dessert brownie that ended the night on a sweet note. The atmosphere was warm and elegant, making it the perfect spot for an evening out. Let’s not forget my Hibiscus Margarita was 10/10 recommend. What truly made the night unforgettable was the incredible staff. The Trouble Twins, Elijah and Zariah, along with Joe and Vanessa, were nothing short of amazing! Their energy, professionalism, and friendly personalities made us feel right at home. They went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. If you’re in New Orleans and looking for an exceptional dining experience Brasa is the place to be!

I don’t usually go out of my way to write reviews, but this experience truly earned one. From the moment we walked into Brasa Steakhouse, everything felt intentional and elevated. We were greeted warmly, seated smoothly, and the atmosphere immediately set the tone for an amazing night. But what truly made the experience exceptional was our waitress, Nataly. My friend and I ordered the Chuleton De Res for 2, along with the Parmesan fries and Brussels sprouts. We initially wanted the steak medium-well, but Nataly confidently recommended medium and thank God we trusted her. It came out absolutely perfect. Beautiful crust, tender center, juicy, flavorful…cooked exactly how a premium cut should be. Every bite was elite. The Parmesan fries were crisp and packed with flavor, and the Brussels sprouts were roasted perfectly with incredible balance. Everything was executed with care and precision. What stood out even more was Nataly’s knowledge and passion. She took the time to tell us about the owners, their backgrounds, and the other prominent restaurants they’ve founded in New Orleans. That level of storytelling made the experience feel personal and meaningful…not just another dinner reservation. Because of her, we’ll absolutely be visiting their other concepts soon. Service like that is rare. Nataly wasn’t just a waitress, she was an experience curator. Attentive, professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely warm. She truly made our night. From greeting to seating to the flawless food and unforgettable service, this place is a gem. 10/10 across the board. We’ll definitely be back. Just shared a delicious dinner for two. Had the empanadas, pan de bono, the picanha and the special 16oz ribeye, with al gratin and brussels sprouts. Ended with a very yummy brown butter pound cake. Every thing was top notch and exceeded expectations. The atmosphere is a vibe. The service was amazing, Nataly, was our server and she did a phenomenal job explaining and recommending the menu to its fullest. Was a truly great experience while visiting New Orleans.

I had the pleasure of being served by Celma, and she absolutely made our dining experience exceptional. From the moment we sat down, she was incredibly attentive, kind, and genuinely helpful. She anticipated our needs without ever being intrusive and went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. I went yesterday to try the coolinary menu and everything was excellent. I love the empanadas and the ceviche with the plantain chips. I’d say I really prefer the passion fruit pisco but the regular pisco is also good. The flan is just 100/10 we really loved it! Our server Elijah was very nice and kept checking on us all the time. We really liked him. Great experience!

My wife and I stayed at the Westin after a cruise here in New Orleans. We stumbled upon this restaurant by chance, wanting to stay closer to our room and exhausted. Have to say, this place is amazing. We shared the ceviche- honestly, second best I’ve ever had (hulas in Monterey being the best, but that’s for another review- not an onion fan, so I appreciate big pieces of fresh fish, and they did not disappoint.) you have to try their short rib Mac and cheese- so good it should be illegal. And our burger was perfectly cooked and served by the chef himself who checked in on us, in addition to our stellar server, Chris. I know you have a lot of wonderful dining choices in New Orleans, but if you end up down this way, it’s well worth a visit. Trust me, you won’t be disappointed.

Very nice anniversary night with my wife. Steaks are 10/10 sides were fantastic. Carrots were very flavorful when you dip them in everything that's on the plate. Would def go again.

Mirror Image Photo Booths has had the pleasure of being booked at BRASA as a vendor for their Santa Brunch, and most recently working with them to host a private dinner party for our cousin. Each experience has been absolutely wonderful from start to finish. The staff, especially Elijah and Fernanda, were an absolute pleasure to work with. They are incredibly professional while also being warm, personable, and genuinely welcoming, which makes all the difference when collaborating on events. And I cannot leave out the food and drinks. Everything was phenomenal. The flavors, presentation, and overall dining experience were top tier. If you are dining with a group, I highly recommend the family style experience. It is perfect for sharing, connecting, and truly enjoying everything BRASA has to offer. We highly recommend BRASA for events, private dinners, or simply an amazing meal with exceptional service.

Best ceviche I've ever experienced... This alone is worth the visit! Delicious cocktails, melt in your mouth steak, and a sommelier who passion for wine is simply infectious. We shared sides of carrots, parmesian fries, and a giant roasted cauliflower. Highly recommend!

Let me start off by saying, I loveddd Brasa. It was an exceptional experience. From the entrance being its own lobby that you take up an elevator to the main entrance of the restaurant to the food and service. I want to start off with the Au gratin potatoes. They were cheesy, and cooked to perfection. Not too hard or mushy or anything. The Wagyu empanadas were to die for with the chimichurri sauce. We were told by our waitress that Chef Edgar's mother makes them personally. Which is interesting to know. The Picanha steak was really the high light of the evening. I had it medium well, and topped it with a bit of salt and some of the sauce that was provided. I loved it. It was sliced to perfection. Fell apart in my mouth each bite. Lastly, my least favorite was the califlor. It lacked much flavor. It was all over the place for me. Sweet, zesty, fresh, unflavored, etc... 4/10... I added some salt to make it a bit tastier. I enjoyed 1 cocktail which was the porn star martini. It was light, and beautifully placed. Saying all that to say, I will be returning.

If you haven't heard... @chefedgarcaro and @antonio_mata have recently opened up this beautiful new Steak House in @canalplacestyle The place is gorgeous and the food is even more delicious. The flavors that chef has incorporated into each dish from his homeland of Colombia is just . Did you know they dry age each steak in a Himalayan salt chamber and it makes all the difference. And Y'all the empanadas are made by @chefedgarcaro Mom. You can't get any better than that! I am already looking forward to going back soon.

I had heard many positive reviews about Brasa and was excited to have some time today to enjoy lunch at this incredible restaurant. They have a great executive lunch special that's only $29 with many great offerings and the meal includes a soup or salad. My soup was the perfect temperature and tasted great - broccoli, bacon and cheddar. I also had what must have been nearly a full pound burger as I was full after eating just half. I asked for it medium rare and it was cooked exactly medium rare - most chefs are a bit scared and overcook it. The wagyu burger was insane - memorable - worth the calories. The restaurant was truly beautiful and the waiter was super kind, attentive, and I could tell he was just a really great guy. I was fortunate to be there when they weren't packed, usually the weekend evenings bring a crowd. Today was a nice break and a glorious meal in the city.

Super nice restaurant! We stumbled across this place on a trip to New Orleans while we were at the mall. The inside is pretty elegant and nice. During the time we visited, it was lunch time. They have a menu just for lunch with items like lobster rolls, salads and sandwiches. I ordered the 2 for 29 lunch special with a house salad and grilled chicken sandwich with fries. The food was delicious. A nice thick sandwich with slaw on it and a nicely dressed salad with half an avocado on top. I highly recommend this place to anyone who is visiting the area

What an amazing meal! Very pretty ambiance-loved the lighting. Australian Wagyu was the most delicious choice! It was served with two different green/red dipping sauces (the spicier one , red, was the best) and we ordered the sautéed mushrooms which were plentiful and a beet salad, also plentiful and very fresh ingredients! Our dessert was a 24 k gold cocoa bean mousse that was almost too pretty to eat-but of course we did!!

My husband, two of our friends , and myself went to Brasa for my birthday last Saturday night. We checked in at the host stand and were greeted by John McIntyre the GM on our way to have a drink at the bar. He was very welcoming! We had a quick cocktail at the bar before heading to our table. The bartender was knowledgable and the cocktails were delicious. We were greeted promptly after being seated at our table by our server Aleisha. Aleisha was wonderful and attentive throughout our meal. The GM John also made it a point to check on us throughout the meal. He sent us over some very delicious desserts for my birthday at the end of our meal. The food was top notch, the atmosphere was great, and the service and management team were some of the best. We can not wait to go back!

I was so excited to try this place but my experience left my underwhelmed. I'll start with what I did enjoy which was the margarita. It comes with an egg white froth which I've never had with a margarita before and that was a great touch. I originally asked the server to help me decide between the entrana and the entrana gruesa steaks. He told me that I should get neither and I should get the picanha steak which is wagyu. I took his recommendation and ordered it medium. I also ordered the short rib Mac and cheese as my side. When the food came out they were getting everyone mixed up and causing a little confusion so when I saw my steak looking very much not medium I was hoping they gave me the wrong order. They claimed it was mine but it was 100% overcooked. I didn't feel like waiting for a new one so I just ate it. Very unimpressed and the wagyu was super tough. The macaroni was okay. I had to ask for salt because it was bland and I also can't guarantee there was any short rib in it. But yeah, it's no where I'll be running back to. Side note, my friend got the entrana and it was so much better than the picanha I let the server talk me in to :(

Everything was fantastic! Our server Fernanda was on top of it. We had a table of 7 ladies for a birthday dinner. The host that sat us was very informative. Showing us the salt chamber the meat awaits and also the large variety of wine selections. The dining room was pretty full and the two private rooms that I could see both had parties in them. Our service was seamless. We ordered cocktails, spicy margaritas, lemon drop martinis, but the star of the show was the signature Porn Star Martini. I enjoyed two of those for the evening. We started with the tuna ceviche (DELICIOUS) and Wagyu empanadas (highly recommend!). We ordered the short rib Mac n cheese. It was tasty and cheesy but I would have loved more of the short rib. The mashed potato's were very smooth and creamy. We had the tomahawk for the table medium and also a skirt steak option as well as the chicken / el pollo. The birthday dessert was covered a golden coated chocolate shell with a mousse inside. Absolutely looking forward to going back and trying more of the menu like the seafood tower and a few other things that caught my eye.

I took my daughter here for her 23rd birthday, it was a good choice. We were visiting from California and trying to decide on a place for a "pre" birthday dinner, it was a good choice. Alicia was our server and Mauricio was the sommelier; these two should work together always! The food was good and the wine paired excellently. If you're in town, go see them.

The ambiance of this restaurant is impeccable but the service and food quickly put our visit on a nosedive. Our waitress pored water on my phone when pouring us water. Some guy who appeared to be the manager carried an audible conversation with the patrons next to us that was very distracting during the dinner service. The picanha was suggested to me and ordered medium. There wasn't a hint of pink and it didn't not taste of a wagyu caliber. We tried the empanada, au gratin and short rib Mac and cheese while were all edible but not outstanding. Vibes are top tier but the rest did not deliver.

From the moment we entered, Justin gave a wonderful overview of the wines, dry-aged meats and the restaurant in general. The sommelier was on point with his Argentinian wine recommendation. TUNA CEVICHE Yellowfin Tuna, Avocado, Watermelon, Red Onion, Leche de Tigre, Plantain Chips was wonderful as well as the beet and goat cheese salad (REMOLACHA Pickled Beets, Arugula, Candied Pecans, Goat Cheese Croquetas, Thyme Aderezo) presentations were beautiful!!! Our entrees :PESCADO Grilled Whole Fish, Lemon & Thyme ---cooked to perfection and so very flavorful. OJODE BIFE 16 oz Linz Heritage Angus Ribeye, 30-day Dry Aged In-House----this steaks flavor was absolutely perfect! I highly recommend this side dish: COLIFLOR Roasted Cauliflower, Spiced Almonds, Feta Crema, Pesto Overall, the service was exceptional, the atmosphere was wonderfully inviting as well. 100% recommend trying Brasa when in New Orleans!

Came in and enjoyed a tasty pisco sour while my partner had the zero proof cocktail made by Luke, the bartender. Luke was knowledgeable on the menu and extremely personable. The bars ambiance was moody and pleasant for our evening out. Will definitely be back.

Made reservations for my wife's birthday and didn't disappoint. We arrived and were given a tour of the restaurant before being seated. Everyone in the front of house stopped and introduced themselves and wished a happy birthday. The cocktails were wonderful kudos to Joe. Lawson was a fantastic server and very attentive. Steaks were melt in your mouth. The carrots & goat cheese, empanadas, and marinated white anchovies are a must. Special shout out to John the GM and his staff for making this a phenomenal dining experience.

Ok! Easter Brunch at the New at Brassa Steakhouse NOLA, under the Incredible Chef Edgar Caro was Next Level! We started off w/ a Cocktail which was a mix of Rum & Tequila & various fruit & even a coffee bean. Exploding w/ Flavor like Everything we had. Then for starters Tuna Ceviche w/ Yellowfin Tuna, Avocado, Watermelon, Red Onion w/Plantain Chips for dipping. Then we had to try Empanadas made by Chef Edgar's Mom. You felt the Love & it's crunchy outside & savory meat inside. Then onto an 8 oz Hanger Steak, which was perfectly cooked & seasoned w/o the Chimichurri. My Mom was Hungry to have leftovers so, she opted for the 30-day Aged 16 oz Angus Ribeye, which More than 1/2 of it went home w/ her. Then the Veggie sides Steamed Asparagus, Grilled Carrots w/Goat Cheese & a Honey Chili Crisp & Roasted Cauliflower, Spiced Almonds, Feta Crema, Pesto. That & the Baby Carrots were the stars, but the Standout side was by far Potatoes Au Gratin w/ Bechamel, Gruyere, White Cheddar & Chives it was the creamiest I have ever had. Ridiculously good. For Desert we had Cheesecake which was to die for & Flourless Chocolate Cake w/ a Banana Sorbet. The service was Wonderful & Co-Owner Antonio was even on hand to say Hi. Move over Desi Vega & signature go to Chop House, cuz Brassa Steakhouse will out Steak You Downtown! Treat yourself We sure did!! Happy Easter & Thank You Antonio Mata & Chef Edgar Caro for an unforgettable meal & celebration.

Ok, I had been waiting and dying to try this spot since they opened and I was not disappointed! Absolutely one of the most delicious meals I ever had. Everything was fantastic, from the service to the sommelier walking us out the elevator at the end. They did a wonderful job renovating this space, it's so beautiful and gives you a vibe that's immaculate. Our server, (Alisha?) a lovely young black girl, I'm sorry I forgot her name because we were already having drinks, but what a joy she was! I couldn't decide on a drink so she got the somm to introduce me to a white wine and it was perfect. I did come for the whole fish but they ran out (which is fine, our reservation was later in the evening) so I ended up with the ribeye and garlic shrimp, oh my goodness.. the flavor and quality of this steak y'all... outstanding. I could talk about it forever but I cannot wait to return.10, 10, 10s across the board. Fabulous job everyone!

Brasa exceeded all my expectations. The combination of fantastic food, exceptional service, and a delightful atmosphere made for an unforgettable dining experience. John McIntyre GM, Aleisha our server created a memorable night especially....with the Irish Coffee!! I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a special night out. Wow!! I just had the Best Steak ever!! The wagyu steak just melts in your mouth and was seasoned to perfection. The service was Amazing!! And Goodness it's such a Beautiful ambiance such an upgrade from the old Morton's.

Listen up foodies! Brasa must be on your list! This place has an incredibly warm and inviting atmosphere and serves up some incredibly delicious South American cuisine. Trust me, you won't find anything like it anywhere else in town. Brasa also offers the one and only Himalayan salt dry-aged steaks paired with delicious South American sides that will leave your taste buds dancing with joy! If you are dining, you absolutely have to try their GAUCHO CUT. But, if you are there for lunch, they have a BRASA BURGER that is perfectly dry-aged and is accompanied by incredible sides such as PAPAS CHORREADAS! But what really sets Brasa apart is their personal touch. The owner and chef, Edgar, and his partner, Antonio, will personally come out and ask you about your experience. That's what I call a truly family-friendly vibe. Head over to Brasa and indulge in a culinary experience like no other!

The best steakhouse in New Orleans. We had an amazing dinner experience. The service was great and made us feel special. The location is completely remodeled. It is open and comfortable. We will de finely be making this our go-to Friday night dinner spot.

I live in Miami, One of the few places in the world that I take a flight just to eat this amazing Food!! Service is always superb, and the ambience is a nice setting. Superb in every way!
