If you’re gluten-free a like me, there’s no better place than Breadblok! Everything from their breads, sandwiches, pastries and more is 100% gluten-free And made with the highest quality ingredients! Recently stopped by for brunch and had a lovely mushroom tartine on their Chestnut sourdough, gorgeous seasonal salad and a side of the most delicious tomato soup! This place is definitely on high rotation in my foodie adventures!

Sunday morning brunch stop by. The place came highly recommended from a dear friend who has Celiac and only orders all there bread from here because off all the gluten free options. There’s an indoor and outdoor seating area. Food is delicious. We ordered Breakfast plate, ham and cheese sandwich in croissant, cappuccinos, and chocolate almond croissant. Will definitely stop by here again and try other menu items.

My mom has celiac so every time I leave town I bring her an assortment of bread and treats from here and she loves it. I have to admit I like the sandwiches and drinks and a lot of the items as well even though I am not celiac or gluten intolerant myself. The staff has always been really polite in my experience and it’s never been too crowded during any of my visits. Parking can be a pain in the area depending on what time you go, but there is also neighborhood parking close by at very worst. It is more expensive than some other options in Santa Monica and LA but I believe that the gluten free aspect and quality of the items make up for that. I would go anywhere for my mom.

Gluten free bakery with various pastries and lunch options. Came here for an afternoon snack on a Sunday and there was a short line but it moved quickly. There’s two counter seating spots indoors and outdoor tables available. You order at the counter and pay first before sitting. Credit cards are accepted. Street parking available. They were out of pain au chocolat when I was there so instead I got the pumpkin muffin. It was very moist and more filling than I thought it would be. My friend got the chocolate cake, which is less sweet than you may expect, but still good. The people were really nice and the overall atmosphere is lowkey and relaxed.

If you have celiac disease and can only eat at dedicated gluten-free restaurants, you know how it is when family/friends go out to eat and you feel left out. This is the place where you can take them to enjoy a tasty meal and feel like a normal person again! Breadblok sandwiches/bread remind me of Modern Bread and Bagel on NY's Upper East Side which I love so much. I had the salmon tartine during my last visit, which was delicious! Prices are in line with all other dedicated gluten-free places serving organic, high-quality ingredients! On the top of my list of dedicated GF restaurants for breakfast/lunch in the country, and I've been to many all over the U.S! Highly recommend!

Finally stopped at Breadblok. I picked up a loaf of brioche & a whole grain crusty loaf. They both seem very promising but my lemon tart' s crust was mushy and had a bit of a grainy texture. I would give the tart a 3 of 5 as I have had and made myself better gluten free tarts. I will update the review after I taste both breads and the stone.

My friend and I both have celiac disease and this place is our gluten-free heaven! We had a croque madame, a grilled cheese, panzanella salad and the seasonal soup! Everything tasted great but for my personal palette I would have preferred some more black pepper or a dash of heat of some sort in the soup. Highly recommend! Facility was super clean and bright and service was excellent and fast!

Cool place but honestly a little overpriced for what you actually get pastry wise. Got an almond croissant and an eclair for $20, both were alright. Didn’t get to try the bread but it looked delicious!
