Winter Park, Florida Is a Charming Small City Near Orlando — How to Visit

"At Briarpatch, the most iconic eatery on Park Avenue, locals line up for mimosas and delicious brunch offerings. The housemade cakes — carrot, chocolate layer, and red velvet — are as Instagrammable as they are tasty." - Karen Cicero

The 21 Best Brunches in Orlando, 2021 | Eater Miami

"Be prepared to wait – just as others have on weekends over the past 40-plus years – for a table at Park Avenue’s Briarpatch, be it inside the pleasant dining room or outside on the bustling sidewalk. The uber-popular breakfast haunt gets downright nutso on weekends as patrons clamor for plates of griddled goodies and eggy sustenance. The breakfast carnitas and pear pancakes get a lot of play, as does the prosecco peach bellini, but everyone seems to miss their ice cream which is no longer served." - Faiyaz Kara

Wonderful place to have breakfast. There was a line to get in, but it moves quicky as there is lots of seating. The food and service were wonderful. The grilled cheese was especially fantastic. The raspberry lemon cream pancakes were also wonderful, but very very large portions. I also particularly enjoyed the mezcal margarita.

Took my sister-in-law for a brunch on a Sunday. It was pretty busy as expected, but the wait was far better than I thought it would be. They have a great system and it was appreciated. I have been here a handful of times and each time, I am pleasantly surprised by the flavors and quality of their dishes. I would recommend a breakfast date during the week though.

Google
What even?!? My daughter and I visited this gem and shared their stuffed French toast and quiche- both of which were was out of this world delicious! Seriously, if I close my eyes I can still taste the savory flavors in the quiche and the light and fluffy French toast with berries. A little on the pricy side but the portion sizes and food quality do not disappoint!

Google
Place had a long line but worth the wait… plus I have to give it to them the seat very well and get people in and out. Food was amazing, huge portions with maintaining quality. A great spot for brunch or lunch. So good. I would highly recommend to anyone.

Google
The attached photo is of their spinach, feta, and sausage omelette with home fries. The portions here are generous, and the food is delicious. This is a very popular spot in a great location, so be prepared for a lively, bustling atmosphere. Tables are close together, and you may need to speak up to be heard. People waiting in line might be standing nearby, but if that doesn’t bother you, you’ll love it here. I’ll definitely be back, but next time I’ll wait for a table outside to enjoy the experience a bit more.

Such a bustling atmosphere with great hospitality, quality food and healthy portions. Those soft scrambled eggs were delicious! We shall return to try other things.

Google
Very high-quality food with bistro style relaxed but professional service, our server Mark was great in facilitating that. Loved our brunch and was pleasantly surprised both of our dishes. I tend to order Benedicts for brunch when available, and this one did not disappoint. It's a perfect cook on the egg. It's a great idea with the short rib Benedict. It was well worth the price. The quiche special was very good, good quality ingredients and very good price for a special. We did not take a picture of our drinks, but my wife ordered a bananas foster latte, and it was very good. Overall very happy with our visit!

Google
Briarpatch Restaurant is a find for those who are demanding with food. From the first moment, the welcoming atmosphere and the friendly staff made me feel at home. Despite being picky, the chef and the team adapted my preferences, creating a perfect alternative that exceeded my expectations. Every bite was an explosion of delicious flavors, with fresh and high quality ingredients. Not only did they meet my demands, but I also rediscovered the pleasure of enjoying a good meal. I recommend Briarpatch to anyone looking for a culinary experience that suits their tastes. I will definitely be back!

Yelp
First time at Briarpatch and was very impressed with both the food and service. I had the French Toast (plain) with sugar free syrup and breakfast potatoes, and both were delicious!! We (as a party of 4) went on a Sunday around noon and waited in line for about 24 minutes, but the wait was definitely worth it. Everyone enjoyed their meals, which were served in less than 15 minutes after we placed the order. As for the ambiance, the restaurant is clean with simple decorations, however they maximize the seating area so there's not much space between tables. Our waitress (Melissa) was excellent, she was patient and knowledgeable, she answered our questions with impressive knowledge of the menu item ingredients, serving portions and pairings. Overall fantastic experience and highly recommended trying their breakfast menu!

Yelp
I have heard so many wonderful things about Briarpatch and was excited to come here for the first time. We went on a Sunday around 2pm so the wait wasn't too long for a table for 4 people. They had indoor and outdoor seating. We sat inside because it was a hot day. I ordered the nutella waffle, my husband got the very berry french toast, and my kids got chocolate chip pancakes. I was amazed at how big the portion sizes were. We easily took home leftovers for another day. The food was delicious but my husband's french toast came out a little overcooked and it was very sweet for him. Maybe the combination of the sweet berries, syrup, and mascarpone was a bit much. Overall it was a nice place and I would definitely come back and try other options on the menu.

Yelp
Started my "me weekend" off with brunch here. I was warmly and promptly greeted by the host, seated right away, and handed a menu. The service from start to finish was amazing. I ordered the Southwest Omelette, which came stuffed with chorizo sausage, cheese, beans, and avocado. It was flavorful, though a bit too heavy on the cheese for my taste. I also tried the waffle, it was fluffy but I was hoping for a little more crispiness around the edges. Surprisingly, the biscuit stole the show, I didn't eat it until later, but it was absolutely delicious, next time, I'll skip the waffle and go straight for the biscuit! The atmosphere was really fun and welcoming perfect for kicking off a relaxing weekend.

Yelp
Freshest, most delicious food I've had to date on Park Ave since visiting the area. Staff is amazingly friendly and professional. The dining area and seating inside is very comfortable and clean. Planning on visiting during the weekend, arrive early! Can't wait to return and enjoy some more great food!

Yelp
This place has the most incredible food in central Florida. The wait time goes by pretty quickly, but the inside is a little bit packed. I felt like the staff was struggling to move around the tables because there was a lot of people. There were also a couple of flies that were just Swarming around the inside of the restaurant, but outside was extremely hot and we didn't want to sit out there, I do think with the place as busy as this they definitely should make sure that there are no flies in the restaurant but outside of that it is a great place to eat, and I would recommend it.
google avatar

Yelp
The wait can be brutal at Briarpatch, especially in the summer waiting outside. Once the wait is over - the inside can be a bit loud and bustling. The tables are quite close to each other. Overall, the pancakes are delicious. The cakes looked amazing, I didn't save any room to sample them unfortunately.

Yelp
Food: For the most part, the food was good. I liked everything on the Southern breakfast. They are serving the food so fast that I don't feel my waffle was cooked all the way so I took two bites and gave up. The pancake was cooked but too doughy for me. My husband thought it was good though. The cheesy grits.. I liked it but my husband thought it was tooo cheesy. The bacon had the perfect crisp and taste. The eggs were perfect with the right amount of fluff. Service: For a small party, we didn't have to wait at all so that was great. They were super nice and helpful for newcomers. They kept up with waters and seeing how we were doing. Like I stated, they were quick with the food but just need to make sure the food is completely cooked. Ambiance: it's a small space so if you get there late, you will probably have to wait. They have indoors and outdoors (using the front and trying to avoid path way). Cute little place.

Yelp
Wow! What a fabulous, happy, and bright atmosphere at Briarpatch Restaurant in Winter Park. I had lunch with my friend Beth and we could not stop talking about the fresh and tasty food, Also their amazing hospitality. This is located in the heart of Winter Park on Park Avenue so parking is limited but not impossible. The restaurant has a sidewalk veranda for outdoor dining and its menu is great for a brunch as they serve breakfast and lunch items. You have to try their chunky salad and I hear they have outstanding burgers too. I can't wait to bring my husband for his favorite red velvet cake on his birthday! Loved it, bravo, Briarpatch!

Yelp
My favorite brunch restaurant not just in Orlando but anywhere. Their food is incredible, the staff is helpful and earnest, and it's right across from the winter park farmers market. You absolutely can't go wrong here.

Yelp
I Went here on a Sunday for brunch. The restaurant was very busy but the wait wasn't too long. The food was amazing and the portions were large. I'll definitely be back.

Yelp
Had just finished a conference in Orlando, and needed to kill some time before my late afternoon flight. I chose Winter Park as I wanted to visit the Morse museum and hit up some shopping. I actually found parking very easily, but it could be because it was a Friday morning and not a weekend. I saw the bright yellow awning of Briarpatch, and gave a quick search for reviews and saw that it was highly rated so I gave it a try. I was seated quickly on the outdoor patio at an umbrella table. All of the menu looked delicious, but I chose to go with the pecan waffle. One thing for sure, you cannot complain that they are chintzy with the pecans! The pecans are not in the waffle batter, but there is likely a full cup of butter toasted pecans piled on top! In fact, I could barely finish all of the pecans, so I scooped them up in a to go box for later. Halfway through my breakfast, it started to rain, and then it started to pour. As the rain began falling, my waiter came out and encouraged me to move to a table still outside, but under the roof where it was more protected. I was glad I did when it really started to pour. The staff was attentive, service was great, and food was excellent! It was a perfect start to a great day!

Yelp
Loved my first time at Briarpatch. The place is really cute, reminds me of some of the brunch spots in New Orleans. Our waiter, I believe his name was Brian was great, he gave us recommendations of how to enhance our meals and they did not disappoint. I had the Southern Breakfast which he told me to get the scrambled eggs with Parmesan. Soo flavorful. My friends had the Nutella and strawberry pancakes & the California Benedict. Both were enjoyed! I had the blackberry lemonade cocktail with bourbon. It was good but a little too strong for my liking. I would definitely return!

Juliemar R.

Yelp
The Briarpatch is one of my all time favorite breakfast spots to go to. My best friend lives in Columbus, Ohio and whenever she visits this is our first stop (she always flies in early in the morning). Once you figure out where to park which can be a bit of a pain depending on the day, the experience is great! Note: it gets VERY busy on the weekends and there will likely be a wait. I mostly go as early as possible anticipating this. There is indoor and outdoor seating available. I always like looking at their seasonal menu to see see what they look but I tend to order off the regular menu most of the time. Two of my favorite breakfast orders are their eggs benedict or steak and eggs. I always get a cappuccino (or two). It always hits the spot. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THEIR CHEESE GRITS. So so so so good! I can confidently say that this spot is a Park Ave staple and you need to go at least once but you'll likely go a lot more than that!

Yelp
First time here on Sunday for brunch, the line was long however we were sat pretty fast. There's tables outside and inside is sort of small and loud but service was quick and our server was so helpful and honest with his suggestions. My pancakes with Nutella and strawberries were just what I needed :)

Yelp
Now that's how you do a brunch weekend in Orlando. I headed up for a surprise birthday party for my cousin, and as part of the distraction squad, me and my girl had the very important task of keeping her busy while the setup was happening. I had heard whispers (and more than a few raves) about The Briarpatch on Park Ave, so we took a quick ride over to check it out. Parking was not easy. We lucked out and found a spot a few stores down on the street. Considering what I had heard about the wait times at this place, I was bracing myself, but to my surprise, we were seated almost immediately. Win. From the moment we sat down, our server Mark took great care of us. Super friendly, knowledgeable, and walked us through the menu and specials like a pro. Here's what we ordered: I got the Pork Belly Waffle. My cousin went with the SEC Sandwich. My girl had the Raspberry and Brie French Toast with a side of bacon. Before we even picked up our forks, the aroma hit us. Sweet, savory, a little bit of maple in the air. And you already know we had to have a quick photoshoot before digging in. Now onto the food. My pork belly waffle was solid. Good flavors, good texture, but not quite something I would rave about. The French toast was absolutely delightful, rich, creamy, and perfectly balanced between sweet and tangy. But the star of the table was the SEC sandwich. It was so good, I only got the tiniest bite, but it left an impression. I already knew I would be back for it. And I did just that. TLDR: We went back the next day. This time, there was a wait. The legend is real. But it was worth it. I got the SEC sandwich as promised, and it delivered. We even had Mark as our server again, and he was just as attentive and consistent the second time around. Briarpatch is easily one of the best brunch spots in Orlando. Whether you are planning a cozy date, a post night out hangover cure, or catching up with friends, this place just works. I will absolutely be back again.

Yelp
It was quite busy for a Tuesday morning. Ordered the Southern Breakfast and the Pecan Brioche Sticky Bun which were more than enough for two people. Service was quick and the food was delicious. I especially enjoyed the fried green tomatoes with the jalapeño sour cream.
google avatar

Melissa J.

Yelp
Eh.. the menu seems pretty good but I guess I expected better service from this place. Won't be coming back.
google avatar

Purvi S.

Yelp
We ordered the Nutella waffle and cremini mushroom omelette. I wanted a decaf latte or fresh orange juice, but they don't have a decaf option or fresh juice which was a bit disappointing. But the two entrees we ordered were excellent. The Nutella waffle had lots of nutella and strawberries. The whipped cream tasted like melted ice cream, it was delicious. The omelette had mushrooms that were seasoned excellently and good amount of cheese. Overall, a bit pricey but great spot.

Erkenesh S.

Yelp
Parking was nearly non existent. This place was bustling at 12:30P for brunch. The line was long to be seated but the hosts worked tirelessly in the unforgiving humidity looking for patrons whose parties were all present for immediate seating. We sat outside after 20 min of waiting due to availability and stayed hydrated with lemonade and h2o on the rocks. I overheard Passerby's saying "it's always this busy". When we got our food I understood why. Not a crumb was left on my plate. The scrambled eggs with cheese were divine. The short stack of chocolate chip pancakes was fluffy and had crispy edges. Carter was very attentive to us and made sure to meet our every request. Would def return during cooler months.

Yelp
I was getting coffee at Lineage coffee shop and the staff said this was the best breakfast/lunch in town. It was super busy Sunday at 1. I sat down at a bar seat right away. I had a burger and a Bloody Mary. The burger had a house made bacon jam, jalapeño and aged cheddar. It was the best burger I have had in a long time. Service was excellent under the circumstances. Bloody Mary was good approaching great. I definitely recommend eating a burger here. They are not playing around.
google avatar

Allison B.

Yelp
There's always a line down Park Ave for the Briarpatch, and it's understable why. The food is divine! I truly feel this is one of those restaurant where you can't order a bad menu item. On this visit I tried the spicy roast beef sandwich, and I wish this were a regular menu item. It featured peppers, tomato, arugula, burrata, and a sauce that complemented the high pile of roast beef perfectly. Because this place is so great, be prepared for it to be jam-packed inside and pretty loud. I recommend requesting a table outside if you're able to.

Yelp
Booked a reservation for a corporate meeting, showed up, and they were closed. A guy showed up saying they "will open in a few days" and dismissed us. The group next to us payed a deposit on their reservation and supposedly had not received a refund. Better communication please!!
google avatar

Cristal R.

Yelp
Such a great restaurant to stop by when visiting the beautiful city of winter park. I went during the holidays and although they had a limited menu, everything we ordered was delicious. I had the grilled cheese and was surprised at how they elevated the dish so nicely. Will definitely get dessert next time! Service was great.
google avatar

Yelp
Easily described as the "creme de la creme" of brunch! I absolutely love Briarpatch and can't believe I'm only saying so now. If you opt for outdoor dining, you almost feel like you're in a European cafe. The tables are a bit packed in but the food easily makes it worthwhile. Of course there's the indoor seating area if that's more your speed. But about the food? I can't sing enough praise. Everything I've ever eaten has been delicious. It's elevated or a step above the other brunch choices in the area. Plus the plates are nicely sized! Today we had some quiche and very berry French toast. I love how crispy the French toast is and that they serve it with pure maple syrup. The very berry comes complete with fresh berries, compote, and mascarpone! Triple slam dunk! Because we couldn't resist, we also grabbed a plate of truffle French fries and let me please beg of you to try these! They were so crispy and fragrant. I adore BP and highly recommend it IF you have the patience to wait. They unfortunately do not take reservations and are always busy. Even on weekdays and off hours, I've never been able to be seated immediately. I do wish they'd start taking reservations! But the great food and great service brings me back!
google avatar

Ashley G.

Yelp
Went for breakfast, very loud if you sit inside. Sit outside if you want a more enjoyable experience (away from the large group tables). Had the Southern Breakfast and it comes with a yummy jalapeño sour cream for the fried green tomatoes. House coffee is very bold. Get it cut in half if you want something milder.
google avatar

Christina M.

Yelp
I really enjoyed my first visit here and I'm happy I got a decent experience since I've heard so many good things about it. Our server was friendly and the place is very cute but super small for how many people try to eat here at once! The food was delicious. I got their seasonly lemon blueberry pancakes which is everything I hoped it would be. The fried green tomatoes were surprisingly better than expected but the sauce is what really made it good. My only issue is how much my total was. I understand that this is supposed to be higher end but my total came out to around $50 with tip. Which btw the minimum tip is 20% when it gives you the options... whatever happened to 15% and 18%?? It's honestly not that big of an issue I just didn't expect to spend so much on brunch when alcohol or any speciality drinks weren't purchased. I would return again for a special occasion since I did enjoy my food and the service was good. I just highly recommend getting something you can't or won't make at home because otherwise you may be disappointed.
google avatar

Yelp
I had a really good brunch here. And the best part is that it was on a Monday. I came here after checking out from my hotel was able to get seated rather quickly. This restaurant is pretty cramped when it comes to space and four people at a table took some maneuvering. But on a good note, our waitress was pretty pleasant and very knowledgeable with the menu. I ended up ordering a pomegranate mimosa. I didn't really taste the pomegranate, but that's OK... What we really want is the bubbles anyway which it did have... For my entrée, I ended up ordering the buttermilk pancakes, which came with fruit and pecans, and I must say these were some really great pancakes maybe number two on the best list of pancakes I've ever had. I got a side of chicken sausage, which I thought had a little too much salt in it. But overall, it was a good experience and if I'm ever in town again I will come back for those pancakes...
google avatar

Melissa M.

Yelp
The ambiance I would say not upsale but not full blown casual We came on a Monday morning and was seated right away but they were busy it was a constant revolving door. The service was great she was on top of everything, not sure of her name as she never mentioned it but so nice and with suggestions as well as it was my first time here. The food everything sounded amazing and it tasted amazing as well. We started off with the fried green tomatoes with a jalapeno Cream sauce which had amazing flavor and the sauce not too spicy. I had gotten the goat cheese spinach and sausage omelette which was packed with ingredients and sausage that you can see. It came with a side of potatoes and choice of biscuit, bread or English muffin. The person I was with had gotten the mushroom bacon and cheese omelette and same it was packed full. Could only eat half of the omelettes. It is pricey but realistically you could share one meal. Will definitely be back as there was a lot of items on the menu I wanted to try

Scott A.

Yelp
First time here! Jill was our server, and she was excellent. We had the Kale Salad and Grilled Cheese w/ Tomato Soup. The food was very good. We did not have dessert but the cakes looked incredible and are made in house.

Yelp
What a yummy brunch spot!! This place serves breakfast all day! Visited here on a Wednesday from out of town around 1pm and were seated immediately. I don't think you can go wrong with this place at all no matter what you order. Our table ordered the blueberry stuffed pancakes. breakfast torta, mimosas, drinks. The blueberry stuffed pancakes are probably the best pancakes i've ever eaten in my life. Serving portions are generous, so it's enough to eat some here and take the rest to snack on later. Drinks were pretty average priced- we did think the cost of ordering a bottle for mimosas was slightly pricey, and the small cup of orange juice they give you to drink with the bottle is kind of a joke for champagne to OJ ration... But overall would recommend to visit for brunch!

Yelp
Disappointing Experience - Would Not Return We visited this restaurant on Sunday, August 2025, during a family weekend in Winter Park. We were really looking forward to a nice breakfast. My husband dropped us off at the front while he went to find parking. I had my 3-year-old on a tricycle and my 9-year-old walking with me. As we entered, we were immediately told the tricycle could not be left anywhere near the restaurant. I called my husband, but he had already parked far away, so I had no choice but to leave the tricycle a few doors down by a bench. When we returned and approached the host stand, I was told we could not be seated until our entire party was present. I explained that my husband was just parking and asked if we could sit, as the kids were hungry and getting upset. The host refused, citing policy. I even offered to sit at a table for three and have my son sit on my lap temporarily. Again, I was told no. At this point, my 3-year-old was crying, and my 9-year-old was visibly frustrated. I asked to speak with a manager, hoping for some understanding, but he was just as rigid and unhelpful. His only suggestion was that we could order food to go at the bar. As a mom trying to care for my kids, I did just that--I ordered food at the bar while they sat and I stood beside them. Moments later, my husband arrived. I quickly explained what had happened. The manager then came back and said, "When the people leave, you can sit there," referring to the bar". At that point, we had already lost our appetite and decided not to order anything else. I later emailed the owners, Celeste and Joe, and received a follow-up call from Santiago, who was very kind and apologetic. He acknowledged that we should not have been denied seating, especially after I offered a reasonable solution to accommodate us. I appreciated his understanding, but the experience had already left a sour impression. This was a very sad and disappointing morning for our family, and unfortunately, we won't be returning.

Yelp
I've been meaning to try this restaurant, and it was definitely worth the wait. The spinach, goat cheese and sausage omelette was packed with flavor, paired perfectly with creamy cheesy grits and sourdough toast. The mocktail was light, refreshing, and just right. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. We sat outside and enjoyed the lovely outdoor seating with a nice view of the park across the way great ambience all around.

Yelp
Omg... this place is absolutely great! I have come a couple of times for breakfast and brunch.. absolutely great option in Park Ave! The food is really good (the Nutella waffle and French toast is delicious), their service is excellent, and their restaurant is a quaint with a nice coffee style! Love the music, the variety and of course the location !!

Yelp
This place has the best breakfast in the winter park area. Anything you order will be delicious. The only thing is the place is kind of small so the lines are always SO LONG! And in Florida, it's hard to wait in a long line outside in the heat. The prices are also high but the quality is very good. I'd recommend going in the fall or winter time so you can take one of the tables outside and actually enjoy the weather. It's a great spot for brunch!
google avatar

Diamond B.

Yelp
Our waitress was very attentive & consistently checked on me to make sure I was OK while I was waiting for the other guest. They provide large portions and the food is tasty. I can say that I didn't really like sitting in the middle of the restaurant. It felt a bit cramped in there but that is probably typical for a brunch spot. I wish I would've gotten a slice of cake because those were massive and looked too good.
google avatar

Trista C.

Yelp
My favorite favorite favorite restaurant in all of winter park and favorite brunch spot. Service is fast food is absolutely delish couldn't be any better. Always has a line and full crowd for a reason. I love the aesthetic. Perfect place to grab weekend brunch with the family or with friends. Always a great experience and always want to come back for more.

Yelp
So came here for brunch on a Saturday around 3pm. This is a good time to eat here because it has more seating available especially inside. Outdoor seating is nice especially people watching but it is HOT during this time. It was a bunch of us women having a brunch date. We were seated within 15-20 mins after arrival with no rsvp. We were seated inside. They gave us 3 menus. 1 for Brunch Special, 1 for drink menu and 1 for the main food menu. We all ordered an array of foods from Eggs Benedict, Fruit topped pancakes, Peach / Strawberry Waffle, A California style Chicken Sandwich with fries and an omelet with spinach with a biscuit and grits. Drinks were a Banana Cold Brew with Foam, A Iced Coffee and a special drink that one of the ladies ordered which look citrusy because of the yellow tint when it was served. Everyone was pleased with their foods. Good Portions. My Peach / Strawberry Waffle had roasted peach slices with cut up strawberries and I think walnuts or pecan sprinkles with whipped cream on top of the waffle. The waffle was tender soft with the flavors of butter. It was delicious. I could not finish all the serving so I had packed it to go. The banana cold brew was disappointing - I did not taste the banana syrup they apparently placed onto the drink. The coffee was def strong though. Ambiance here is always busy unless you come here about 3pm ish then the crowds dies. My company enjoyed their time here and loved the food, Briarpatch is always will be my top 3 brunch eats here in Orlando.

Yelp
While attending the annual Winter Park Street Art Festival we set our sights on breakfast at Briarpatch. The line to be seated was long but the wait not so much. This staff was well prepared for keeping pace with the business and the level of service exceeded expectations. We ordered a delicious pecan sticky bun with a side of applewood bacon, coffee and the Southern Breakfast that included eggs cooked to order, applewood bacon, stoned ground cheesy grits and the star of the plate fried green tomatoes with jalapeño sour cream and a small sweet orange juice. The food was extraordinary with emphasis on the exceptional warm gooey sticky bun and perfectly fried green tomatoes. Our server revisited our table multiple times making sure our experience met our expectations. When in Winter Park this restaurant is definitely a star in the arena of great local restaurants.

Quite busy for a Tuesday morning but was seated immediately once we walked in. Ordered a "Rise & Shine" which is their version of an espresso martini. Also ordered avocado toast but with smoked salmon and egg was extra however it was really delicious. The seating was kind of packed but overall enjoyed the place. I've been here before but haven't been there in awhile. I would come back for sure.

Yelp
Briarpatch has such an aesthetic feel! It's nice and the wait wasn't bad at all. You can sit inside or outside and enjoy the amazing view of winter park! If you haven't had their viral banana creme cold brew then you NEED to go get it! One of the best coffees I've had and I don't like cold brew! The French toast with berries is amazing. I could just eat the berries and be satisfied!

Yelp

Yelp
Only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is because of the outrageous prices. The food itself was delicious, the cremini mushroom sandwich was phenomenal but skip the grits they weren't that good. The burger was a very large portion, but they don't cook above medium, it was still extremely pink and it was $30. I would also skip the iced latte too, it was $11 and I only drank half because it wasn't good either. Other than that, everything was nice. Although it was very crowded the service was great and it wasn't too loud inside either.

Yelp
We went here at 8:00 a.m. right when they opened, because we heard it was a popular brunch spot. We had a party of 12 and they were very accommodating by getting us two tables right next to each other. All the food was very delicious. I ordered the pork belly waffle and had a bite of everyone else's food as well. The portions are nice and hefty. Definitely no complaints! The espresso martini was very delicious; I would say the best one I've had ever. But at $17, it's a little on the pricer side. The same with the entrees; they were all in the upper $20 or lower $30 range. The service was amazing and the place was very cute and small with some patio seating available. I would recommend trying if you haven't been before!

Yelp
One of my absolute favorites in the area! The only downside is that it can get very crowded at times, but it's well worth it. I haven't had anything on the menu that I didn't enjoy. The truffle fries and the zucchini sandwich are both delightful surprises. The service is always friendly and pleasant. In short, a fantastic spot!

Yelp
This place is an institution. It is always a hit. Went here with my sister yesterday for brunch and my mom decided she wanted to go here also today. Everything is so delicious and fresh. Flavors are spot on. The location is perfect for a nice stroll after. Been coming here for years and will continue to come as long as they are open which I hope is a long time.

Yelp
Good service, good food, healthy portions. I ordered the canadian bacon eggs benedict and my boyfriend got the truffle burger with the prime beef patty. I will say my eggs benedict was one of the better ones I have had in a while. The hollandaise was silky and tasted great, eggs were poached nicely and the muffin was not hard or soggy like you get at some places. The potatoes that come with are crispy on the outside and not dry - definitely liked!

Yelp
This iconic restaurant located in Winter Park in the Orlando area is very popular for breakfast and brunch. We waited in line for about 20 minutes and seated on the front outdoor patio since it was available. I would have preferred the cute inside but it might have been much longer. I had the Waffle with pecans $17.50. I was a little disappointed in the taste but especially after having a bite of the pancakes which were so delicious. They did not bring out butter which the waffle needed since it tasted dry. I also had to request more syrup. Everyone enjoyed their brunch. The service was good.

Yelp
It sure if it's new management or they just decided to change how the operate. But they are over priced for what you get now. Don't even have 1/2 menu available at 8am. I'd understand if they ran out of an item towards the end of the day but in the morning, this is just unacceptable. Added an over priced gratuity for a small party and the amount they charged didn't reflect the quality of service. This used to be my favorite place to eat. I'd literally drive two hours to come here. Now, this will be my last time coming here.
