The 12 Best Hotel Restaurants In London - London - The Infatuation

"The decor at Brooklands by Claude Bosi, a French fine dining restaurant on the roof of The Peninsula hotel in Belgravia, pays credit to the storied racetrack and airfield that the famous plane was built on, but we’re in the business of meals. And one at Brooklands is fiddly, with occasional wallops of flavour. But when Brooklands hits—like with its superb bread or a chicken liver mousse and a coronation emulsion nibble—it’s great. It’s about as classic a fine dining restaurant as you can imagine, but its vaguely teenage racing and airplane homage lightens the stiffness." - rianne shlebak, sinead cranna, heidi lauth beasley

The 9 Best London Rooftops For Good Food - London - The Infatuation

"Imagine a themed Disneyland restaurant, but make it Concorde. Brooklands By Claude Bosi is all stainless steel and some fantastic (and fiddly) British-French fine dining food, with a heated rooftop terrace that looks out from The Peninsula hotel across London. The racing and aeroplane homage lighten any potential stiffness, and a ‘Concorde carte blanche’ lunch at £65 makes it a reasonable location for a fancy meal with a view." - jake missing, heidi lauth beasley, sinead cranna, daisy meager

But when Brooklands hits—like with its superb bread or a chicken liver mousse and a coronation emulsion nibble—it’s great. Enjoying this from a heated terrace that looks out across London isn’t bad either. Took my wife here to celebrate her birthday and I have to say Brooklands delivered an unforgettable dining experience as it delivered an impeccable service, a refined ambience, and extraordinary cuisine. Whilst I've been lucky to have dined at very good and high end restaurants, the five-course dinner here was a masterpiece, each dish was divine and packed full of flavours that triggers your senses. The atmosphere was elegant and exuded sophistication. The service was flawless ensuring every detail of the dish served and drinks were perfect and a big shout out must go to Sandy who looked after us. The rest of the staff were absolutely great too but sadly I do not remember the name of everyone who waited on us. From start to finish, it was a dining experience that epitomised excellence.

Goodness. Now I know it seems I rate everywhere we eat as amazing (it is…! We rarely if ever, have a bad meal), however today’s lunch at two Michelin starred Brooklands by Claude Bosi at the Peninusla London was truly outstanding. In all honesty this meal is in our top three lunches ever. Completely awesome. Three superb, seasonal courses of great British produce, innovative, delicious and pretty. Supplemented by three amuse bouches, the coronation chicken one being the best I’ve ever had, two breads, curd, butter and a couple of petit fours, representing fantastic value for such elevated cooking. Service was informative, choreographed and friendly with the dining room original and quirky, with outstanding views of London’s iconic skyline. To top it off, upon leaving we were given a chiffon cake to take home, along with a personalised menu. A lovely touch. I’m lucky to have eaten in some great places. This ranks as one of the best. So good we booked a return visit for next month whilst drinking our coffee, looking at the view…! Go for lunch. You won’t regret it.

Review of Brooklands at The Peninsula Brooklands at The Peninsula offers a truly unique dining experience, combining stunning views of Hyde Park and the London skyline with an immersive aviation-themed interior. From the moment you step out of the lift, the theme is evident—small airplane windows, aircraft-style lighting, and carpets with racing car inlays lead you toward the dining area. The pièce de résistance is the dining room itself, where a striking ceiling replica of Concorde, along with sleek metal accents and walls displaying Concorde’s Mach speed, altitude, and temperature, reinforces the sense of luxury and history. The carpet, featuring a constellation inspired by Concorde’s last flight, is a subtle but thoughtful touch. Service is excellent—attentive, friendly, and well-informed, adding to the overall experience. The table setting, with crisp white tablecloths and blue double-lined napkins, enhances the refined yet welcoming atmosphere. The meal begins with exquisite amuse-bouches, notably the leek pastry, which is a standout. The bread selection is also exceptional—crispy yet soft inside, paired beautifully with goat’s cheese, a vibrant green herb butter, and virgin butter. Among the starters, the St. Austell Bay Mussels with cider and three-cornered garlic shine—the mussels are tender and juicy, wrapped in an envelope of flavor, with a rich, creamy sauce at the base. The Koshihikari with citrus, black lime, and marigold, essentially a risotto, is sweet and citrusy, reminiscent of a dessert-like rice pudding. For mains, the Veal Cheek with smoked emulsion and pickled red onion is superb—the meat is incredibly tender, falling apart effortlessly. The pickled onion, while slightly resembling chutney in taste, pairs well with the richness of the dish. The Line Caught Pollock with eel and red pepper miso is cooked to perfection—just translucent, with a sauce that has an egg-like texture, adding depth to the dish. Desserts are a true highlight, both visually stunning and bursting with balanced flavors. The Blood & Bitter Orange with Basil and Mint is a perfect blend of sweet, sour, and citrus notes, delivering a refreshing end to the meal. The petit fours are equally delightful. As a final touch, a departure gift of a chestnut muffin is a wonderful surprise—it tastes just as exceptional as the rest of the meal. Brooklands’ Concorde menu is outstanding—both in terms of the quality of food and its incredible value. The experience is unforgettable, seamlessly blending history, aviation, and gastronomy into a truly special dining journey.

A sensational experience from start to finish! We visited Brooklands by Claude Bosi for a special occasion, to celebrate my 30th, and it was one of the most incredible dining experiences across the globe we've had so far. Starting with the food, each dish is a masterpiece, using fresh, locally grown produce, and presented beautifully. I understand the concept of this dining experience is to provoke an emotion and, let me tell you, there were a few moments when I took a sip or a bite and I felt transported to a seaside holiday in Cornwall or felt like I could taste spring in my mouth. I would certainly recommend the tasting menu, so you get to try a bit of everything as it's hard to choose favourites (still, I'd say the duck with the fresh homemade tamarind sauce was very close to being my number one if it wasn't for the delicious seafood tacos and fish broth too). Next, the staff: their hospitality is beyond anything you could experience here in London and they all seemed extremely passionate about their work, contributing to a fantastic dining experience. Finally, the atmosphere is calm, elegant and beautifully complements the delicious food and brilliant service. Love the Concorde concept throughout! I could write endless praise about this place, but I will finish by saying thank you so much to the entire Brooklands team for making my birthday so special and for treating us like Queens. Highly recommend to anyone!

We tried the tasting menu and every dish was exquisite. The main courses and desserts were great! However, I found the warm up dishes and starters a bit salty. But if you’re looking for a great place to go with furry friends, it’s worth a visit.

Located at The Peninsula London, the restaurant features a modern menu that reflects Bosi's creative approach to classic British cuisine. Dishes are meticulously crafted, showcasing seasonal ingredients and culinary finesse. Highlights include the perfectly cooked meats and fresh seafood, complemented by a curated wine list. The ambiance is refined yet welcoming, with stunning views adding to the overall appeal. I had the tasting menu for lunch at Brooklands. The restaurant is elegant and modern with aviation and motosport themes. The service is excellent, and the food is sensational. Outstanding dishes include the Seán Farm courgettes, the turbot with Blackmount cheese and Argan oil, the Racan guinea fowl with Scottish razor clams, and the Alphonso Mango, Marigold and Kaffir lime. Special mention also goes to the incredible prestige wine pairing I had. However, the petit fours felt very disappointing. I would definitely recommend visiting Brooklands, which is one of the best restaurants in London at the moment. Although Brooklands has Bosi’s touch, I was not as amazed as I was at Bibendum, which I believe has a more intimate atmosphere and more interesting menu. I believe this restaurant definitely deserves a ⭐️, but not🌟🌟with their current proposal.

Stopped by for a cocktail after Buckingham Palace... ended up staying for a magnificent lunch and splendid views. The most amazing decor, celestial carpets, circulat marble bathrooms, hot air themed lifts, it's a must visit... and prices very reasonable... and the staff are out of this world.
