"If you’re familiar with M. Henry in Andersonville, you’ll recognize much of the food at Bryn Mawr Breakfast Club in North Park, since the chef here started at M. Henry. This place’s food (e.g. bread pudding french toast and chilaquiles) is on the same level, but the good news is that here, there isn’t quite as long of a wait. It’s a cutely decorated spot, with counter seating that makes it perfect for dining solo and they recently moved down the street from their original location, so now there’s a back patio for the summer, too." - sam faye, adrian kane, john ringor, veda kilaru

"Chef and owner Manny Mejia, who previously worked at M. Henry and Marmalade and also owns Big Hill, turns out dishes with global influences at this North Park gem. The eclectic selection includes a Caprese omelet, blackberry and kiwi French toast, scallion pancakes with eggs and pork belly, and French toast stuffed with Canadian bacon. Expect crowds and a wait on weekends. A second outpost is located in Belmont Gardens. Order online here." - Samantha Nelson, Eater Staff

"If pancakes are made with whole grains instead of white flour, they must be healthier, right? The multigrain pancakes at Bryn Mawr Breakfast Club also come with blueberries — a superfruit — which probably makes them extra nutritious. Keep an eye out for hotcake specials in flavors like sour cherry and mango. There’s also a second location in Belmont Gardens." - aimee.levitt, Eater Staff
