Cute, pocket-sized space offering coffee, mimosas & light bites for breakfast & lunch.
"B-Side is a little Capitol Hill corner cafe that operates out of Analog Coffee. They also happen to serve Seattle's greatest breakfast sandwich, a.k.a. a toasty english muffin stuffed with scallion-folded egg, Beecher’s cheese, country ham, pickled daikon, and charred onion aioli which you can (and should) doctor up with hot sauce. There are other non-breakfast choices like cashew butter-topped toast and grain bowls, but be real—you're here for this sandwich. Picking up something before a WFH session here will almost make the day feel like it’s a weekend." - aimee rizzo, kayla sager riley
"B-Side is a little corner cafe currently operating out of Analog Coffee. You can expect a sizable line that makes an otherwise sleepy sidewalk come to life on the weekends, but their takeout-friendly breakfast is well worth the wait. In particular, they serve the greatest breakfast sandwich in town, a.k.a. a toasty english muffin stuffed with scallion-folded egg, Beecher’s cheese, country ham, pickled daikon, and charred onion aioli which you can (and should) doctor up with hot sauce. There are other non-breakfast items like cashew butter-topped toast and grain bowls, but be real—you're here for this sandwich." - aimee rizzo, kayla sager riley
"This bite-sized restaurant inside Analog Coffee (get it? B-side?) is one of those “hidden gems” that’s hardly hidden — everyone knows about the breakfast sandwich here by now, surely? Ham, Beecher’s cheese, daikon pickles, charred onion aioli, and as the star ingredient, a thin omelet-y slice of egg dotted with scallions. Like much of what B-Side does, it’s casually impressive and shockingly good. Just be advised that this place can be extremely crowded, even on weekdays, and parking in this part of Capitol Hill is not for the faint of heart." - Harry Cheadle
"Egg Sandwich With Ham “I promise I’m not being hyperbolic when I say that the breakfast sandwich from B-Side is sometimes my only motivator to get out of bed in the morning. It’s hard to articulate precisely what makes it so brilliant - the pickled daikon? The neatly-folded scallion scrambled egg? The paper-thin country ham? Or maybe it’s just the holy, serotonin-inducing combination of it all. The sandwich, which comes on a soft, toasted English muffin, is packed with flavor and deceivingly filling for its size—and you should order one immediately. Grab an iced latte next door from Analog to wash it down.” - Julia Chen, Editorial Assistant" - julia chen 1, carlo mantuano, aimee rizzo
"The toasty, stuffed english muffin at B-Side Foods has it all. There’s sharpness from crumbled Beecher’s, tang and crunch from pickled daikon, spice from hot sauce-doctored mayo, and tender scrambled eggs with green onion folded in like grassy confetti. Add thinly shaved country ham or slow-cooked mushrooms, and you have Seattle’s very best breakfast sandwich, let alone Capitol Hill's. " - aimee rizzo, kayla sager riley
