Everything You Need For Christmas, Delivered From London Restaurants

"For: Wine that will impress. The bad news: hot dog and bubbly heaven, Bubbledogs is one of the many restaurants that has been forced to close this year. The good news: Their website, Bubbleshop, is still very much up and running. We like their Christmas party packs as a no-brainer option that will have everyone nodding and saying ‘I like this pinot, I like it a lot’. If you’re just looking for a nice bottle to bring along for your host, you’ll find plenty of options on their website - all handpicked by their owner, an award-winning sommelier. Echo Falls who?" - heidi lauth beasley

"Bubbledogs, Fitzrovia. The creation of chef James Knappett and his wife Sandia Chang, Bubbledogs is the catchy name that tells it how it is - an establishment of champagne and hot dogs. 30-odd champagnes in fact and a wide selection of dogs. A warm, industrial interior of bare brick and reclaimed fittings - though notably the copper topped bar is the central feature. More of a champagne bar than a restaurant, drop in for lunch or join the almost constant, but quick moving, evening queue."

Champagne and ‘dogs. Bubbles and “junk” - love love love it! Had the most epic time here! Service was as good as the food and drinks! Had a million different champagne types to choose which I know not much of but the recommended was awesome! Can’t wait to come back!

Great place to enjoy a more upmarket and delicious hotdog. And some great champagne to pair with it. It matches surprisingly well. I would recommend

Fun concept and the building and decor is cool and what you'd expect in a trendy London restaurant. The hotdogs were ok, but I had visions of them being a lot bigger than they were - not sure if the idea is to order more than one and sample different ones. Very extensive champagne list, but we stuck to the house one, which was good enough. It can get very busy, took over an hour and a half to get a table, but didn't mind waiting. Was a bit peeved though that I wasn't given a phone call to say the table was free, had to go back, despite leaving my number. All in all, good idea if you're looking for a quick bite and a novelty, but feel the food could be more sizeable.

What's not to love? Hot dogs and champagne?! 🌭🥂 And reasonably priced champagne at that.. in a cool space with great service! It's not the place you'll have a long, leisurely dinner (try michelin-starred Kitchen Table out the back for that) and linger all night, but it is excellent for exactly what it does. Yum!! All my London foodie loves on Insta at @hello_hedonaut.

The star of the place is the champagne, not the hot dogs. Fun concept and vibe - a twist to a regular night out drinking. However, our 2 hotdogs weren’t as delicious as we expected. We’ve had better.

Love. This. Place. Now been here a couple of times and can safely say I’d keep on coming back. Don’t be shy on telling the staff here on what you’d like to spend on champagne, there’s something for everyone on the menu. Food wise, everything is great. You get to pick your type of sausage (pork is great!) and everything can come veggie too. You’re also now able to book ahead 👍

Best expirience ever, the gourmet hotdogs were interesting, full of flavor paired with champagne gave it a special twist. It's an odd and pleasant combination. The icing on the cake was the popcorn ice-cream it wad surprisingly delicious. RECOMMEND

Champagne and former hotdogs, and interesting experience! I enjoyed the hot dog (had the BLT) and there was a nice range of options to choose from. However I felt like it was a bit overpriced for what you got. You really need to go for a few sides as well to feel full.
