Google
Good burgers and plenty of space for a working meal. Easy to order via mobile app. California Birger was very good as so was the fries. Offers some good beverage options.

Google
Man what awful food, even for airport food. I was planning on ordering a burger until the nice lady handed me a menu which listed a 1/2 fried chicken. I'm a sucker for fried chicken, especially thighs. Well, this isn't a half chicken, it's 3 pieces of overcooked pigeon. The electronic menu shows "3 pieces" while the paper menu shows a true fried chicken. While that was overcooked (and under seasoned) beyond belief, the fries barely were cooked and should be listed as "wet potatoes". Also no seasoning. The biscuit was fine, but clearly a few days old. The place looks cool but I'm taking off points for misinformation on the menu.

Google
Located in Concourse C of LaGuardia airport. 4 stars because the item I wanted on the menu wasn't available. Went with my second choice, BALT sandwich with fries & a Strawberry Smash Cake Shake. Our waitress was very friendly & attentive.

Google
As one would expect from an airport restaurant, the menu here is overpriced. I got one cocktail and one of the more affordable entrees, and the bill came out to $50 for one person. The Moscow mule was good but the hamburger (with mushrooms) was extremely mid; I asked for it to be cooked medium but it was definitely well done. It came with fries which were also very mid. The service was fine and the ambience was actually really nice, felt like a little getaway within the airport.

Google
The scan and order were swift and did not bother me. The service was excellent and fast. However, I ordered a burger, and it came up so messed up, which did disappoint me and was struggling to fill it up and eat in my hurry time. The fries were good. Their salad was excellent and quite different from other salads I had around. It wasn't spicy or salty but very smooth to chew. The chicken tenders on their kid's menu weren’t that great. The fries on the same kid's menu and the one with the burger combo are different, though the burger combo fries were tasty. Overall, it is an okay place. But the service deserves a Go if you have no time.

Google
Order via app is straightforward. I was greeted and given a short but friendly instruction on ordering. I just wanted a quick bite, so a drink and an appetizer was the game plane. Unfortunately, while friendly, service was slow and I had to request attention several times. There appears to be no way to order water in the app, so I would take this to mean it should be standard, but I had to request water be delivered. This was necessary as they had to make the tea - 15min. Then the deviled eggs took about 20 minutes. They did give me status that it was going to take a little longer, much appreciated, so they're trying. Food was good and nicely presented. I was thankful for a metal fork, sometimes it's the small things. I would give them another shot next time through terminal C.

Google
Sat down and had to wait. Ordered soda and water together only got the water then 5 minutes later got the soda. Ordered our food (Matzo ball soup and bacon Mac & cheese) was told it would be out in 10-15 minutes. It wasn't out for over 20 minutes. There were 5 crumbled tiny pieces of bacon and then a few minutes later the matzo ball soup came out it was cold and hardly any soup. The matzo balls weren't even cooked all the way. Nobody came and ask if our food was good or even ok. Never saw the waitress again. Then when I viewed the bill I realized there was a tip for OVER 20%. I've worked in the service industry for 10+ years and I believe in tipping but never would I have tipped OVER 20% for this service. Not sure what was worse the service or the food but I'd never recommend this place to anybody.

Google
Can't stress how good that chicken sandwich with fries is, Although the price brings the price/quality ratio down quite a bit. Tough to o find a seat today, but we went over to the terrace seating area and watched the jet skis and planes. Friendly people behind the cash register, they also give away some pretty sweet paper bags for take away.

Yelp
Not wonderful, but whaddya expect, it's the airport! With time to kill I walked from restaurant-to-restaurant and checked my options. We circled back to Bubby's for one reason: you can get a salad instead of fries with your sandwich. To their credit, my burger was thick and grilled as requested, medium rare. However, to make up for getting that right, the kitchen burned the mushrooms and onions that topped the burger. My salad came pre-dressed, even though I asked for ranch on the side. I personally didn't believe T that his fried chicken was good. Three scrawny pieces that looked like they came from Swanson's TV dinner. His chicken came with a biscuit and a skimpy portion of coleslaw. The meal was way over-priced. (I know! It's the airport!) After ordering, I looked at posted photos from other Yelpers of Bubby's matzoh ball soup. The soup looked homemade, though I would expect nothing less from 'bubby,' which is Yiddish for grandma. For anyone even contemplating dine-and-dash (not that you would) forget it. You pay when you place your order.

Yelp
Food was subpar. But the worst was customer service! The restaurant charged me twice for my lunch $33.83. Then when I called their number to get a refund, dealt with a very rude customer agent who literally told me she couldn't help me since I couldn't ID the correct city for LaGuardia. (But on Google it states East Elmhurst or Queens.) Anyway, called back and talked to another apathetic customer agent who jotted down my info and didn't even ask the name of the restaurant and its location at the very end, which was Flushing. But she could not give me any reassurance or timeline for my refund. She literally said she wrote my report and submitted to upper MGMT, and they could look at it tonight or a week from now. Or whenever. No idea when I will receive my refund or if they will contact me. Didn't get an email confirmation. She just said my report is attached to my phone number if I decide to call back for an update. Terrible inconvenience and just poor customer service with meh food. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

Yelp
Airports seem to be offering more and more food choices to make travel easier. Bubby's was a wide open seating establishment with on line ordering and nice atmosphere to watch the world go by. Service was good and attentive and had to have my last bagel and lox before leaving NY. The food was good bagel fresh, plenty of lox with onion and capers and a nice side of greens. A little too much cream cheese for me so I just scrapped some off. Price wise it was comparable to standard bagel places in NYC.

Yelp
This was my first experience at Bubby's. I just ordered from the takeaway menu. A tea (Early Grey with Oat milk) and muffin (Banana Crunch) both were good. I'd say that the wait time was longer than it needed to be. The muffin was already prepared and I just got tea, it took nearly 11 minutes. Although the person who handled my order was pleasant. The service was slow. It's a gorgeous restaurant and set up with a lot of seating options. I'll try again next time and actually have a meal. But for this go around, I'm a little disappointed.
google avatar

Amanda T.

Yelp
I enjoyed the cocktail and fries. Yeah it's airport food. The cocktails was good but the fries should have been better. They were like baked frozen fries that you make at home. They came out before the cocktail. Giveaway they aren't fresh. And for the price I really wish they were fried! But the location is great. The lighting is nice and spacious. It's a nice break from the rush of traveling.

Yelp
This was an unusually delicious experience. I thought it would just be okay, but whoever was in the kitchen "put their foot in it," as they say. I will go back again happily! It's not just airport food. I felt like I had a gourmet experience with the salmon. The coleslaw was not bad.

Yelp
My flight was delayed, so instead of finding some sort of mediocre sandwich that is my usual airport MO, I decided to sit down at Bubby's for an actual meal. The beautiful horseshoe bar was too enticing, the plates around me looked pretty good, and I love a good swivel stool. I was flying off to what promised to be a horribly unhealthy weekend, and so I didn't get the Fried Chicken and Pancakes that I actually wanted, and rolled with Bubby's Breakfast. Two eggs (I chose overeasy), bacon, home fries, and a piece of sourdough toast. And that's what I got. The whites of the eggs were not quite set (note to self: order over-medium next time), and the portion of home fries was a little stingy in my personal opinion, but it was a fine breakfast. The sourdough was fresh, the butter spreadable, the bacon decently cooked, everything properly seasoned, and I ate it all. I would've preferred paying less than $27.05 (including tax and tip) for a two egg breakfast, but this is an airport, and that is the world we live in. I don't love ordering through a QR code and being forced to choose a tip before getting any service at all, but the nice dude behind the counter refilled my water as necessary, and was generally pleasant. He deserved that tip. If anyone at Bubby's is listening: Load us up on the potatoes, they barely cost anything. And please get a hot sauce that isn't Tabasco.
google avatar

John M.

Yelp
Okay, so I get not everyday is our best day, but on this particular visit the Bubby's service was exceedingly slow. I ordered a simple Bubby's Breakfast (a couple of eggs, bacon, home fries and sourdough toast) from the Flo.io menu and it took 25 minutes for my food to arrive ... cold. My eggs were ordered over medium but arrived barely over easy, the potatoes and toast were cold (there was no melting that butter), and the bacon was room temp--this is all unfortunate because had the meal been promptly delivered it had the potential to be pretty good (seasoning on the potatoes was decent and the bacon had a nice smoky flavor). Once the server delivered my meal he was not seen again until long after I was done. Just overall not a great experience. But it wasn't all bad ... my ice water was nice and cold too.
google avatar

Dee W.

Yelp
This was good. Service was ok. Had the eggs Benedict and thought the sauce was average and home fries were pretty good. I liked that rhe home fries didn't have rosemary in them. I asked for extra sauce and they did provide it. I wish the waiter would have continued to fill my $4 coffee cup without me asking.

Yelp
The restaurant is located on the way to the gates 70-79 in terminal C (past security) and it offers both table and bar sitting. This is the first sit down restaurant before you reach the food court. I know that airport food is expensive, but $22 for a burger at the airport is excessive (before tax and tip). Ordering is done through the website (scan QR code). I had burger with mushrooms and Gruyère. Burger was okay, nice bun, crispy fries. Service was friendly, but not necessarily very attentive - never received any water refill. If you want to sit down and eat, it is fine, but I would check food court before.
google avatar

Athenais A.

Yelp
Ordered a mushroom gruyere burger which was also supposed to have sautéed onions and sadly it had like 5 strings of sautéed onions. The burger was actually pretty good, even though i missed my onions. The fries, on the other hand, were really lacking. They tasted stale from the minute I got them, so they were gross. . Service was okay. Server was nice enough, but with this whole scan to order thing, you basically get no interaction with your server. Bloody mary was good! Had a nice kick to it. Definitely okay for airport food, but would probably not frequent the restaurant in a real world outside the airport setting.

Yelp
My hubby and I were walking around looking for a spot to grab lunch and figured if a pre-packaged salad is $13-15 then might as well get a sit down meal. You order by scanning a QR code from the menu and place your order on their website. Relatively easy to use but the only annoying part is if they don't have something on their menu it's still there on their website and you won't know until after you pay, the kitchen gets your order and they'll tell you to submit a claim for reimbursement- not the end of the world but kinda annoying. We were surprised at how good everything was, food was cooked fresh to order, and was worth the price. I got the Branzino - which my hubby tried to talk me out of saying they're probably not going to cook it well or it's not going to be fresh. I took a gamble and surprise surprise! It was delish, flaky, and cheaper than I would normally get at a Greek restaurant in queens. I've flown out of LaGaurdia twice this year, and stopped by for their Branzino both times. I've also tried their Matzo ball soup, which came out piping hot and hearty - Hubby got their burger which was decent, fries were a toss (could be soggy or could be okay/crisp). There are people serving you and bringing you water and such, but a bit scarce if you're not sitting by the counter.
google avatar

Amanda W.

Yelp
I had a very satisfying light meal at Bubbys at LGA airport. I saw down and ordered using the QR code menu. It went seamless, food arrived within 10 mins. Ordered the matzah ball soup, which was a hearty bowl however was definitely not hot, it was luke warm. Had two huge matzah balls and tons of carrots and herbs. Also had a side of broccoli, which was actually on the colder side with chili flakes. Overall I wish the dishes were served at a higher temperature. Otherwise pretty decent. Will have to make this my go-to at LGA terminal C going forward!
google avatar

Chris Z.

Yelp
Wow, night and day difference from Bubby's Tribeca. I order the fried chicken and my wife ordered the hot chicken sandwich, hold the hot sauce. Her food came out with cold fries, chicken that wasn't crispy, and missing mayo. My chicken was better, but that's not saying much: the meat was juicy, but the outside was charred and had a burned flavor. As far as service, I didn't expect much but we had to wait around 5 min after the food got here to see someone we could flag down to get the missing mayo. We didn't get a water refill until we were about to leave. The most disappointing meal of our stay here. I've had great food in airports; that's definitely not an excuse.
google avatar

Jessica L.

Yelp
The horseshoe shaped bar is cool and it would seem that this would be a place to get food quickly in a fairly quiet part of the terminal, but that was not the case. I used the QR-code at my seat to order and pay and only ordered matzoh ball soup. I also wanted to order water but that wasn't an option on the ordering page. I saw servers bringing other guests water, but I couldn't flag anyone down. After 10+ minutes, I got up and asked the server at the to-go counter if I could just have my soup to-go. They were nice, found my order, and the server who brought my soup also gave me water. But the soup was lukewarm. It was disappointing since the bar seating seemed like a nice place to pass the time and it wasn't busy, either. I did appreciate that the seats were spaced far enough apart that I could fit my luggage next to me.
google avatar

Courtney W.

Yelp
Yum! The food was delicious. Our waitress, Tenzin, was amazing! Nice open area. Didn't feel too cramped.
google avatar

Patrick P.

Yelp
Layover of a couple of hours and I wanted some pie and a coffee. Had the banoffee pie, which was good, and some black coffee, which was average. Grabbed a piece of apple and a piece of sour cherry for the trip to eat later. Good but not great. Service was better than average, maybe because business was slow but I didn't see the rude that all these other reviewers are describing.
google avatar

Rosie K.

Yelp
The hostess seats me at a placemat that has no cup and the napkin was left over from the previous customer. I asked her to remove it and she ignored me and walked off. I tried to submit a comment to Bubbys through the survey they push through the app but, after filling it all out, it won't submit. So we're skipping the tip today. The tip must be decided when you order on the app so we're basically being asked to evaluate the server on the initial seating. They didn't get me water or coffee until after I ordered so not much to do here. Food was eh. It's an airport.
google avatar

Jess B.

Yelp
To start, it was so so so frustrating to have multiple staff members come up at me, glaring and chastising me with "if you're going to sit here you have to order". Geez! Way to greet a customer! Also it turns out none of those staff were the actual server who helped me so I'm not entirely sure why they were so judgmental. Literally the only reason I'm giving this place two stars was for the ONE kind server I had because I feel like good staff is hard to find. To start, 40 minutes for a burger and fries is wild. I came during a weird post-lunch pre-dinner slump ( around three-ish) so maybe it was a staff shift change. I also asked for my burger to be medium well and it came out more red than not which killed my appetite.
google avatar

Scott L.

Yelp
Completely unfriendly and inattentive staff. If I could give the zero stars I would. You order by QR code, they don't say anything to you when they bring it. They don't clean the dirty counters, only collect the plates and glasses. You have to go ask someone to bring you a water. No napkins or straws were provided when our drinks came. And a guy just came by at 842pm to tell everyone the kitchen is closed. All for a $30+ hamburger and a couple drinks. Shame on me for not checking yelp until after the service sucked.
google avatar

Rick P.

Yelp
Can't even sit down to order food without giving them your phone number or email. No thanks. Don't need you selling my information or sending me non-stop marketing stuff.
google avatar

Robert S.

Yelp
As I was heading towards my gate (Terminal C gate 69), I saw this huge restaurant with an inviting wraparound counter, nice lighting and cozy atmosphere. It caught my eye, but because I did not have time to sit down and wait for a meal to be cooked, I grabbed a Cobb Salad from their refrigerated case. It was about $18 for a medium salad salad, but it had all the right ingredients inside the container....the label said Cibo, so I wondered if Cibo is the food supply purveyor of Bubby's at LGA. I paid using a point of sale terminal and off I went, it was really easy. The salad itself was average, nothing great, but it was a nice easy lunch. Bubby's the restaurant, opened on Thanksgiving Day 1990 when Chef / Owner Ron Silver began baking pies and selling them to restaurants and his neighbors out of a small kitchen at the corner of Hudson and North Moore St. in Tribeca. Based on their website, they are known for simple and fresh comfort food.

Dawn S.

Yelp
Don't eat here. Food and service are both terrible. We got charged for food we never received and the waitress claimed she refunded us but she didn't. Now I am disputing with my credit card company.
google avatar

Jody S.

Yelp
Bubby's is pretty typical when it comes to an airport restaurant. It includes the QR ordering option which makes your ordering a bit more secure and direct. The location is open, bright, and most pass by when walking to and from gate, so pretty easy to find. Tons of sitting areas and place mats ready and awaiting your order. I ordered the branzino but immediately wanted to change once I saw a chicken and waffle plate walk by. The staff was willing to accommodate the change but I was hungry and just stuck with my order which seemed would arrive sooner. When it did I had a decent meal but the pesto and saltiness were overpowering. I wish I did try the chicken and waffles.

Yelp
So, I am not impressed!!!!!!! The thing of this place is, you sit down, scan a QR code and order the food. Then someone will bring your food/drinks to you. Well, there is an assumption that you're over 21! You open the page and BAM, let's buy some alcohol. No way to verify your age. Now, let's talk about the speed of service and the quality of food. You're asked to pay a tip and you haven't even been served yet. WHY?????? What have you done but bring a plate and a soda? No normal service! THEN, the food that is brought is late. WAYYYY LATE THE YOUR WIFE WHO WAS ABOUT 3-5 minutes later than me to place her order. THEN, the food is burnt, has tasteless bacon. And the toast looks nothing like the picture, which isn't the biggest idea here. THEN, the service, I had to get up and wave at someone to ask them where my food was? 3 other people did the same thing. The "servers" kept their heads down and just kept running out a plate, the race back to the back. Not impressed at all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! But, unfortunately pretty common for airport food places!
google avatar

Tricia T.

Yelp
Best airport breakfast food I've ever had! Bacon was so good! The home fries were delicious. Both items I ordered I would again. The staff was on top of it too! Dishes taken right away. Tables were clean. Would eat here again!
google avatar

Victoria R.

Yelp
Awesome ambiance and the food when it first opened was delicious. But my same order has gone downhill. Chicken Cobb salad is still good but chicken is hit or miss if it's too charred off the grill. Fries are now hard, stale, cold. And the buttermilk biscuits which were amazing on the first visit a year ago- ordered them twice since then as I'm a frequent flier- and they are now hard, dense and not flaky or light. Like little hockey pucks. Please improve the freshness and baking - it was a great spot in the beginning and now just mediocre and expensive.
google avatar

Judy T.

Yelp
Terrible service. And weirdly awful food at the Delta terminal at LGA. I am an old Bubby's customer from the early days in TriBeCa. I ordered Biscuits. They were like rubber. Undercooked in a microwave and browned to look cooked.
google avatar

Rabab M.

Yelp
Wow! This place has changed within months. To start off, I frequent at their Tribeca location and it's still a great brunch spot. LGA location being fairly new, they did an amazing job at setting up a nice looking restaurant. I am a frequent traveler and had been stopping by at the LGA location for a quick bite or drink for the most part of 2023. Come 2024, this place has completely changed. Service is now lackluster and food is barely edible. I think I'm going to start taking my business somewhere else after my last experience.
google avatar

Dayo E.

Yelp
Airport Bubbys. Who would have thought. It was really good though. I'm very glad I tried it. Went for the classic chicken and pancakes and it did not disappoint. The pour on my drink was also appropriate for the airport so I was very appreciative of that. Overall great service. Nice little spot in the airport with loads of space, charging slots and tvs.

Yelp
I arrived @6am. Told by waiter no paper menus. Only url code "as if you shop online." Ordered online... 20 mins later after seeing waiter hand 5 paper menus to another party. Told online not working. Took pic with f phone with online order. 5 people arriving after me- eating already- still awaiting anything. Requested coffee prepaid for I online order. Given @ 6:25. Dark no creamer. Requested creamer, directed to stirrer, no creamer!- finally got coffee @6:30. Received paid meal @640am. Received wilted and cold bacon. Returned telling: cold bacon will give heartburn all day. Requested hot/ crispy bacon. Received 2nd portion: colder and wimpier. Did not eat any of my 1/2 of meal- total of $60 spent for 2 breakfasts. Asked for manager. Left @ 7am. No meal. Prepaid tip. No manager. Not even a return from our waiter. (Did NOT make a scene @ the airport- wanted to get to my destination). Husband paid for experience- would cancel payment on credit card- so upset!). Horrible experience @ supposed James beard restaurant. Not what I expected!!!! Did I mention diabetic husband had NO option for non sugar syrup. And prepaid tip prior to horrible NON service.

Jeanne M.

Yelp
I would give a zero if I could! To start, our waiter took our drink order, then left. After 15 minutes another waiter informed us that our waiter abruptly left. We ordered one burger! There were only 8 or so people in the restaurant. 20 minutes later, as we realized our flight was ready to board, we finally got our small burger with cold fries! We were asked to pay in advance, and we paid in cash! Our 2nd waiter abruptly left, and we were forced to leave to make our flight without getting change!! I have never left a yelp review, but felt it necessary to warn people!!!!
google avatar

Amol K.

Yelp
Airports are always a bit of a crap shoot for food but I thought Bubby's was good! The bar set up is clean and well spread out. Staff was nice. Order from your phone which is fine but limits your ability to customize and upgrade your order. That being said I got the burger with blue cheese, side salad and extra pickles. Burger was really good. Char grilled cooked medium. Salad was fresh and the pickles were the perfect addition. I'd 100% get the burger again.
google avatar

Katie A.

Yelp
I'm shocked at how good this quick airport breakfast was! I ordered a delicious omelet and my husband ordered pancakes. They were perfectly fluffy, way better than anything you'd typically find at an airport restaurant. Our only complaint was that the service was a little slow to start, but we weren't in a hurry. I haven't been to Bubby's in Manhattan but I would love to try it after this surprisingly satisfying airport meal!
google avatar

Kev O.

Yelp
Absolutely made my day! So after ordering a breakfast platter, which had 2 eggs any style (I love over easy) I realized there was no toast to dip in my eggs. Not available as a side. No big deal. As a prolific traveler, I get used to being disappointed in the airport at restaurants. Not here! I commented about not having toast as an option...and within MINUTES the manager came to me and offered a side of toast! This place has amazing staff, great food and even better care for customers! Look no further...if you fly a Delta out of LGA...this is your stop for food!
google avatar

Lesley O.

Yelp
The name suggests a different vibe than what I felt while seated at the bar. I ordered the Turkey, avocado, BLT with a side salad and a pint of Stella Artois and with tip it cost me $38. I know that the mark up on food and drinks are high at an airport, but that's steep for what you get. There is nothing to rave about but the sandwich was edible and much needed since I was starving. I'll be looking for other options in Terminal C next time.
google avatar

Dwight C.

Yelp
I might would maybe think about 4 or 5, but in an airport venue I can offer an enthusiastic 5 stars. I had the matzo ball soup and a cesar salad. Either would have beenenough. The soup was delicious. The matzo balls were tasty and had a good texture. The amount of vegetables and chicken were spot on. I finished every spoonful of the broth. My salad and my wife's cobb salad were huge salads. She got whole avocado, generous portions of chicken, bacon, etc. She rated it a 5 star salad. I ordered with my phone and a bar code. The process went smoothly and seemed well thought out. The wait staff was very attentive and efficient.
google avatar

Ashleigh S.

Yelp
The set up looked inviting and easy as an order from your phone set up. However, it took a very long time for our burgers to arrive that we had to rush to our flight and eat way too fast. The burgers were ordered as medium and came out well done and charred. Fries were room temp to cold. All though the staff was fairly friendly, I have to note that they all were wearing gloves. I guess maybe they consider it sanitary, but it was the complete opposite. The entire time I was there not a single one changed their gloves once. They would touch their phones, their hair, itch themselves, touch their hair, touch dirty glasses, touch dirty dishes, clean off dishes, and then proceed to make the next persons drink or grab their new plate of food with those dirty gloves. I'm sorry, but I can promise you frequent handwashing is much more sanitary than those gloves. It was very unappetizing. Would not recommend.

Yelp
It's not hyperbole to say that this is the worst food I've ever had in an airport. Yes, it's a low bar... and they somehow couldn't even clear it. For starters, everything came out at different times. Very weird, since it was all ordered on the same ticket. The second problem was that everything came out cold. I'm usually not a complainer, but this food was room temp at best. So we sent it back, and after 10 minutes... it all came out cold again. This was breakfast, mind you. I don't know how they screw up bacon, eggs and pancakes. The pancakes especially were disappointing. They were clearly not cooked fresh. They tasted a day old, or maybe even frozen. It's a shame, because Bubby's in Tribeca is good, and is specifically known for their pancakes! If this had been a cheap meal, I would have shaken it off, but it was $95 for two adults and a child. No alcohol. Just coffee and three meals. It was a robbery. Avoid this at all costs. You'll be tempted to sit here because the ambiance is nice, but if you order food you're going to regret it.

Yelp
Nope, nope and nope. Bubby's is a perfect example of why you don't want to count on receiving a good meal experience in an airport. First of all the Bubby's Turkey BLT is $19.99 and the Bubby's Strawberry Smash Cake Shake is $9.99 (for a small). A $20.00 BLT wouldn't be so bad if it was something special. The bread was good, but did not work well in this case (more on the bread later). The sandwich had fresh ingredients, but still took too long to make and usually when a sandwich takes this long it often comes with a reason why it is worth it. It is not very big sandwich and it comes with a lot of mayonnaise and when I say a lot of mayonnaise, I mean a lot of mayonnaise. The mayonnaise is already dripping down the sides, but when you bite into it, the mayonnaise squirts out all over and even up your nose from the large holes in the otherwise nice, artisan bread. Just too much mayonnaise. Too much! It ends up all over your hands and when you take each bite, definitely lean forward to keep it off your body. To top it off, they provide a small oil/vinegar based stack of lettuce/greens with no fork or knife ns most importantly no napkin. After I made my way all the way to my gate far away from Bubby's and opened the bag there was nothing in it except a box with a sandwich in it with those lettuce/greens next to it. Imagine trying to eat your salad and mushy mayonnaise saturated sandwich bread with no napkin and eating your lettuce/greens with your fingers, no fork, no knife, no nothing. Very gross . . . gross not just for you, but gross for all those people around you forced to look at you. My fingers, face and shirt sleeves were all filthy. I will say the small strawberry shake was tasty But, again, it sure would have been nice to have a napkin to deal with the whip cream stacked on top. Expensive menu items and bad customer service; a combination of the two worst things a restaurant can offer.

Yelp
Our plane was delayed for 8 hours at La Guardia. So we had plenty of time to walk around and find a place to eat. Located at Delta terminal C. NYC diner , had to check it out. Prices are a little high, but what isn't at an airport. You have to order and pay from your phone. Our server was there as soon as we sat down , gave us water and we ordered drinks. We ordered 2 Bubby Burgers, chicken and pancakes, and I ordered a chicken breast with cole slaw. Everything was on point and tasted great. The only problem was not all the food was served at the same time. I got my chicken breast first, but did not get the cole slaw for at least 15 minutes later, which is odd ,because I would think the slaw would be pre made , and I wanted to eat it with my chicken. The other three plates came out randomly also. Which was actually OK. I was finished ,but snuck in a few fries from the burger dishes. Fries were cooked perfect. Definitely a good stop if you have a layover, or a delay.

Yelp
I had the matzo ball soup today. Decent portion and it was delicious vs. normal airport fare. Nice matzo balls, carrots and chunks of fresh chicken. Not too salty like some diner type matzo soup.

Yelp
Paid $35 for a burger and an iced tea. Waited 20 minutes for burger. Came cold, meaning it sat for a long time before anyone brought it out. Will not come again.

Yelp
Landed an walked right by Bubby's. Ordered from a QR Code which was pretty easy. Food came right out and was good. I would go back.

Yelp
QR code scan required to order - no alternative permitted. The menu is available to peek at in a couple of places, but you still have to order by scanning a QR code. There is a kiosk order station set up next to the snack wall with the full menu available for takeaway, but there was an apparent guard on duty there to usher away anyone attempting to order. When I told her I wasn't going to use the QR code, she said to catch the attention of the waitstaff. The place wasn't very busy, maybe at one-tenth capacity. We sat down in the bar area so we would be noticed; there was a low-table area in the middle of the terminal connector that looked nice, but we had a goal of catching the eye of the waitstaff, so we stayed at the bar. We patiently waited for several minutes as we were ignored in favor of re-organizing the booze wall. Finally, the guard caught the attention of the apparent manager on duty. I smiled and said we'd like to order the - ... He brusquely cut me off to tell me that we had to use the QR code. I said I wanted to circumvent it. He said there was no other way. I nodded my acknowledgement, gently voiced my disagreement with the policy, thanked him for his attention, and we left. Seriously, we weren't even permitted to order at the kiosk?

Yelp
Prison food experience right in the airport. Great combination of bland, dried out and expensive...very clear why you have to pay up front. Honestly bad food even for airport standards.

Yelp
Got the Hot Chicken sandwich. Was disappointed with it. Wasn't spicy, was very greasy and was overcooked so it was dried out. Fries were ok. Service was good. Husband got Cobb Salad. Said it was , fine.

Yelp
I ordered the turkey sandwich and it took forever to arrive! They bring out several orders at a time so that causes delays. The food was excellent though. Don't sit down if you don't have much time.

Yelp
This diner is located in C terminal where Delta departs from. While it's location is a C, it's quality is an F. Everything about my experience was fine except for the most important part, the actual food. It has the standard QR code for ordering which is now pervasive in the city. Once you order, a sever comes around and brings water and silverware. I ordered a standard breakfast before my flight, scrambled eggs, bacon, breakfast potatoes, and sourdough toast, with a glass of orange juice. The OJ came out quickly and was the only good part of the meal. The food followed shortly. The thick cut bacon was not crisp, it was limp and sitting in a pool of grease. The eggs would have been fine but they were lukewarm. The toast was likewise not hot, the pat of butter they placed on top had no chance to melt in my lifetime. The breakfast potatoes were the only thing remotely warm on the plate, but they were also limp and greasy. The formula for a decent breakfast is not hard, bacon potatoes and toast crisp and everything hot. There must have been some major issues in the kitchen that prevented this desirable outcome. I have eaten at plenty of full service sit down restaurants in airports, and this was one of the worst food experiences I've had. You'd be better off with the defrosted baked goods at Starbucks.
