"Downtown Golden’s The Buffalo Rose just wrapped up a remodel that includes a refreshed dining room, a cocktail bar, and new menu. Now the restaurant, one of three original structures that date back to the late 19th and early 20th centuries, once housed the International Bowling Saloon, and later the Buffalo Rose Saloon, making it one of the oldest bars in Colorado. The renovation retained most of the original building structures and reused historical materials harvested from the job site. The space now includes a newly constructed indoor and outdoor bar as well as a state-of-the-art commercial kitchen. Diners can find an original Old West dining room-lounge area that focuses on regionally inspired American cuisine with a Latin twist for lunch and dinner and a large outdoor patio bar. Chris Cone, owner of The Buffalo Rose, says new dishes include chorizo jalapeños with cherry chipotle glaze; salads such as the Aztec Caesar with chili-rubbed top sirloin and jalapeño blue cornbread; sandwiches including the pulled lamb sandwich with smoked lamb shoulder and apple jicama slaw; and entrees such as pan-seared salmon in Hatch chile broth. Chef Jan Vonada heads up the kitchen. The outdoor patio features fire pits, live music, a full-service bar, and a retractable glass roof." - Susan Stapleton

We had a delicious meal at Buffalo Rose in the heart of downtown, historically charming, Golden. The Rose Bison Burger—was perfectly cooked and among the best bison burgers we’ve had. Equally impressive was the Cedar‑Planked Salmon, seared on a smoky plank, rubbed with chimichurri, and finished with a delicate puree and truffle oil, another highlight of this popular Colorado restaurant.

Very good atmosphere and nicely decorated saloon. Our waitress was friendly, although I noticed that not all staff members were as welcoming. The place has a lovely terrace and an interesting history. On the downside, the food wasn’t great—the hamburger was a bit small and slightly undercooked.

Lively atmosphere, great live music, good food. Great service. It was a little chilly so bring a jacket. All the dishes that came out to other tables looked delicious. Our server was friendly and accommodating. Our meals had great flavor.

First time eating here. Upon entering the restaurant, it was a nice opening and very warming. Staff were friendly and we were able to sit immediately. Although we had a reservation, it didn’t seem too busy initially. Upon getting my food, it was cold and tasted old. The rice I had, there was definitely something in there that made a crunch nose. The carne asada I had tasted old and was super cold. My families food was also cold. Did not taste fresh. I will say the salmon my wife, that was definitely good. It was warm temp. Overall, I’d likely not return to this establishment. Although our server was great, the food didn’t taste well and I definitely was not pleased.

Google
This is elevated bar food that was surprisingly good! I had some of the best nachos of my life here and my husband had a huge fried chicken sandwich. Drinks were good. And beer list was great. Our server was so much fun and very efficient. We had an early lunch so the noise level was fine but I could imagine it can get pretty loud since tables are close together.

The signature smothered burrito was huge and really good. I liked the wings and cheese curds a lot. The bison quesabirria was pretty good but the birria tasted different than normal.

Google
Service was good, but the food was a huge letdown. My smothered burrito was mainly all beans and rice as you can see from the pictures I did point it out to them. There was only two very small pieces of chicken. I could even find in the entire thing, not even a bike worth put together. I did bring it up to the Waitress, of which we also asked for no onion on the burger, and as you can see a huge chunk of onion was on the burger she was not the one that brought it out, so I do not feel it was her fault. It was brought to their attention, but they chose not to do anything. The manager did not even come to speak with us. The drinks were good. The plumber’s crack was excellent, but for what you pay for the food was unacceptable. I will make sure that none of the companies I work for have dinners or company meetings there. It is not worth the value.

We’ve lived in Golden for the past 15 years and have gone to nearly all the restaurants multiple times. The last time at the Rose the hostess sat us outside and the waitress took our drink order. We waited 20 min before I walked up to the hostess and told her “we haven’t ordered yet” she was helpful and went to get the waitress herself but she didn’t show up for another 10 min. I would’ve been ok with her saying I apologize I am behind and have asked the manager for some help in this matter but instead she said “I heard yall are ready to order?” When we said we were expecting to order sooner she said “the kitchen is behind sorry” but the group next to us was seated at the same time and already got their food and drinks and was in her section as well. I said we would like the check and she said “I am sorry it didn’t work out for you”. I will update this if it gets better but so far that is not worth the pretty good food.

Yelp
Good live music and such fast service but their restaurant atmosphere isn't designed for live music appreciation for long. I came here mostly for the ambiance of dinner with live music. They said the music started at 7 so that's when we made a reservation. Unfortunately it didn't start until 7:30 or so and we were almost done eating by then and felt pressured to leave. The food and service was good though! The burrito bowl and veggie tacos are the same price but the veggie tacos are way less food so for GF vegetarian folks like me I would recommend the burrito bowl. We also got the crème brûlée which was great!!! All these items came out within 5 minutes or less of ordering which is honestly magical but it really shortened the experience. Our server was great and my complaint feels like an anti complaint for most people, just if you care about the music come later then they say it will start and eat realllllyyyy slow :).

Yelp
I stopped here for a quick bite before heading to another event, and this place was recommended to me. Buffalo Rose was pretty good, and the atmosphere was great--a nice mix of modern and Wild West. I ended up getting the classic burger, which tasted great, but the price was kinda crazy for how little meat you get. They say it's 1/3 pound, but that's probably before cooking, and by the end of cooking, the burger is about 1/5 pound. I ended up eating more of the tuna nachos that a friend ordered who only nibbled on. Shoutout to Emma for being a great waitress! Also noticed no Happy Hour while was I there around 4PM.

Yelp
The service was poor. The female manager does not know how to manage walk-ins and reservations. I observed her walking a party of six, Caucasian men in to the restaurant after 30 minutes of waiting for a table. I was part of a group of 6 - we were three women and three men with diverse, ethnicity. When I addressed it with another host, they asked me to identified the party. I declined politely. They seated us right away. My companion cleared the air by sharing our frustrations. While my companion was gracious enough to clear the air, the manager did not attempt to apologize for her flaws in managing reservations. The food was good, expectations we received from restaurant reviews. The price point was high. There are so many other restaurants in Golden that I will not visit Buffalo Rose again.

Savanna B.

Yelp
I visited the Buffalo Rose the other night with family from out of town. I think it's a great place to bring out of town guests. It's got a super cool vibe and it's in a historic building. It's the kind of place that visitors can think this is Colorado. Everyone who works there is incredibly nice. It was really impressive actually and the food didn't knock anyone socks off. It was a good enough experience that it didn't really matter and I would absolutely go back.

Rachael E.

Yelp
Went for happy hour but turns out no happy hour on fridays! Still got a well drink and a BLTA, the drink was only $5 in the end! That's insanely cheap to me I really like the ambiance and all the sunlight in there. There menus were like newspapers which made me feel funky but i liked it. No complaints here, sat at bar and they were very quick and responsive

Tom K.

Yelp
chose this restaurant for lunch. located in an historic building in the center of Golden. lots of menu variation including generous salads and mex specialities. There were four of us and everyone agreed it was an excellent meal. if in Golden, CO, again will definitely go back

Oliver S.

Yelp
Did not realize how cool this place really was, I know it's been here forever and I've heard about a lot growing up in denver and frequently visiting golden.. but the food was so damn good and if you can try to get the couch table at the end. Our server was awesome and really recommended some good dishes. This place was sweet

Yelp
Convenient to combine dinner and a show in one night. The restaurant side of the business is well laid out, part indoors, part outdoors. The patio is great for people watching and the food is decently proportional. The burgers are the usje fare but the street tacos were flavorful and warm but not too hot (spicy). Be prepared for the automatically added kitchen tip (under $2.00). Dinner and drinks for 2 was just under $120. The concert hall side of the house is really nice. Buffalo Rose has come a long way in terms of setup as 90% of the venue is seating and the area well maintained. Mezzanine is all rail seating and has a nice view. Perfect for folks who cannot stand for a whole show. GA is standing in front of the stage (the sound is perfectly loud!) while reserved tables just behind. On shows with a strong attendance, I would suggest not taking front row VIP tables. The crowd *may* obstruct the view and your table becomes a dumping ground for people's empty beer glasses and water bottles. Some people may even try and make theirselves comfy at your table top (in which they should know better considering these are expensive!)

Amy A.

Yelp
Joined the Colorado Cowboy Gathering for a performance at the Buffalo Rose and it was a great venue! We had a seat at one of our he high top tables near the middle of the venue and visibility to the stage was great. Sound management also seemed to be good. There is table service for drinks and food; we can't comment on food yet drinks were good and relatively reasonably priced. Service was friendly. We enjoyed the event we attended here; our only comment is that the venue could have been a bit warmer. Yet to be fair, out side temps were hovering around 0F, so certainly it was much warmer inside than out!

Greg H.

Yelp
Felt the food, ambiance and vibe was spot on. Loved the fun paper menus that make you step back in time and then the fun and amazing menu choices. We had the poutine fries, burrata salad with chicken and then cinnamon roll bread pudding. I loved the salad. The burrata was fresh, veggies crisp and the balsamic hit just right. Then add the chicken and toasted bread it is a party in every bite. I would likely never leave this place without the bread pudding in my belly. It was warm and served with a healthy scoop of ice cream making for a delightful taste.

Meghan B.

Yelp
I loved the look of this place, a variety of cute and different seating areas. Menu is newspapered style, nice touch! The menu had a variety of options. We ordered the artichoke jalapeño dip. It is served with chips but I have a beef/pork allergy and they are fried so the waitress suggested bringing out carrots and celery, which was perfect. It was very appreciative she found a solution so I could still enjoy the dip. My friend and I both ordered a margarita which was very good. We decided to split the shrimp tacos. Our waitress put everything on the side, just in case there was any allergy issue so it came with slaw, rice, black beans, some cheese and sauce. The tacos themselves were a little bit hard and soft in other areas and had no flavor however, the shrimp or huge, so balanced it out. Can you place to come if you are in the area just wanna grab a quick dinner.

Kristen S.

Yelp
Shortest review ever. Dog friendly patio and hostess was prompt. However, my husband and I left after 20 minutes because no one ever came to serve us. I even said something to the hostess and she said she'd tell someone. We waited another 10 minutes (included in the 20 minutes above) and then bc the door to the inside is code locked and I knocked once and no one heard, we decided to leave climb through the little fence they have. Would love to comment more but never tried the food but as others have said, service was poor. Wouldn't return.

Michaela S.

Yelp
Stopped in for a cold drink and appetizers to share. For a first time experience it wasn't bad but I wouldn't go out of my way for it. Overall, it was fine. I liked the space & fun details such as the menu pictured. Service was great though, very attentive.

Colleen D.

Yelp
What a cool place with a really fun vibe. Open, airy space. The menus are like newspapers. Lots of options on the menu. Great for groups. I had the cornmeal crusted trout and it was very good. Service was attentive.

Sarah W.

Yelp
The appetizer and dessert that we ordered really stole the show for me. We got the green chile artichoke dip to start off and it was So Delicious I was wishing we had more once it was gone. For dessert we got the peach crisp and it was also delicious. The butterscotch ice cream was phenomenal. I got the rose bison burger and it was pretty good but just a tiny bit dry. The cheese on it is sort of like a blue cheese flavor, so if you don't like that you probably wouldn't enjoy it. My friend got the elk burger and he said it was good but pretty dry. He actually added some ranch to it bc he felt it needed more sauce and he said that improved it a lot. But the fries were good! We asked for ranch on the side and the ranch itself was also great! Pretty runny, which is how I prefer it. At first I ordered a dirty Shirley and it was... not good. My friend ended up drinking it and I ordered a pineapple/cherry drink and that was delicious. There was a little bit of a mishap with ordering the second drink because my friend called the server back because he thought I was ready to ask for my second drink, but I wasn't, and it was a little weird and then the server seemed to be very annoyed with us for the rest of the time we were there.

Roel Kristy V.

Yelp
Loved our visit. Nice and big with indoor and outdoor seating. Super delicious burgers, fries, and sandwiches, plus a delicious ancient grain salad with an outstanding dressing. Nice beer selections. Super service

Sophia L.

Yelp
The atmosphere and server were excellent, however the quality of food wasn't. For an upscale restaurant, I feel like it could use extra love in the preparation and making of the food. Ordered a bison birria quesadilla, honestly didn't come close to anything like the original. The "consomé" was a slush of all sorts of spices with water (more like salsa than broth). All I could taste was the cinnamon and nutmeg, very unpleasant. The burger patty's are so thin and not worth the $20. On a positive note, the nachos with the chick roast meat were very tasty. $100 not worth it; It's a pass. Left an unpleasant taste in my mouth unfortunately.

Matthew F.

Yelp
Mid at best. Service was ok. Went for brunch and they were blaring music the whole time

Tatyana T.

Yelp
This was my second time at this restaurant. I felt that we got appropriate amount of attention. The food was served fast with accommodation for sensitivities. My chicken breast was not dry and none of the food was too greasy or overly salty. It was noisy but you could still talk without raising the voice. I would definitely come back.

Faith O.

Yelp
service was great. seated very quickly, mostly college aged kids working. LOVED how open it was,dog friendly patio, overall very chill vibe. we went for the tuna poke nachos and the clear creek burger. Something i was not anticipating was the pulled pork on the burger, which made it more of a pulled pork samwhich than a burger as it overwhelmed the patty. the nachos where great,if only a little hard to eat.

Jennifer S.

Yelp
Spent a few days in Golden. Love to try new restaurants. We hit this one up fist because of the pictures of their patio. This place did not disappoint. Great indoor/outdoor area. The architecture of the roof was the best. A lot of seating to enjoy the amazing weather. We split the burrata salad. It was the perfect salad to share. The flavors were on point. Now, we did have to ask for more crostinis, but they did not hesitate to bring us a few more. The next time I went I split the Philly cheesesteak with onion rings. Awesome dish! Crispy onions rings on point! They also have happy hour every day! I know many places only have it during the week, so this would be an added bonus if you only had the weekend to visit.

Tammy H.

Yelp
Dinner, drinks were delicious and Josh Blackburn with his band was amazing!! We always enjoy seeing a show here.

Rachelle C.

Yelp
We were in the area waiting for our brewery tour. The menu looked good and the server was very nice. Though I'm not sure what the hype is of this place. I ordered a Bloody Mary and it was thick to drink and I'm not even sure there was vodka in it. There was some weird thick stuck sauce under the chips of our tuna nachos I'm not even sure it was supposed to be on the plate. The burrata was good but hard to mess that up except it could have used about 4 more slices of bread and half of the amount of arugula on the plate. We don't live in this area but I would steer people away from here.

Beth H.

Yelp
Private event hosted by our business associates for cocktails hour. Excellent space that was elegant but accessible. Their selection of appetizer was choice, with beef Wellington on toast, tray of fruited Brie, and meatballs. I was in the super minority of being one of two women in the whole conference however, the venue's execution was well-balanced and artful. Acid balancing sweet, savory with spice. Service to clear plates and the private bar was engaging to ensure everyone was happy. Great location, though parking was tricky.

Amanda B.

Yelp
We went here for a concert this past weekend for the first time. I was very impressed with the space. One of the servers, David, went out of his way to help us when there was a slight snaffoo. Very pleased with the venue and the drinks. We can't wait to go back.

S M.

Yelp
I have been going to this place for yrs. Recently, they changed the menu and the gluten free options were more limited and most dishes cannot be altered to be gluten free. They removed the philly and chicken enchiladas. WHY??? I usually bring my out of town family members here when they visit, which is several times each year, but now I will probably take them some where else. Our waitress ( I don't remember her name, but she had multi colored hair) was very nice and empathetic w/my issue and she was very knowledgeable and helpful too. We didn't have to wait long for a table. Restaurant was clean. Ambiance was ok - no shades for the windows, which is needed when the sun is setting.

Yelp
This is a review for The Rose -- the event venue next to the Buffalo Rose restaurant. It is an excellent venue for receptions, meetings, parties or listening to live music. It used to be joined at the hip with the Buffalo Rose restaurant next to it, but has since separated to be on its own. I went to it last night to hear some live music. PARKING ======== There are two paid parking lots 1/2 of a block west of Washington Street. There is also parking on the streets if you can find it. I was lucky to find a spot on the street about 3 minutes away from the theater. The sign said 2 hour parking up until 7pm. After that you can stay parked as long as you leave by 2am. Not a problem. INSIDE ====== When you walk in the door the venue is very open. Once you get past the ticket taker, there is a large bar meant for ordering and then finding a seat elsewhere. SEATING ======= Between the bar and the stage there were tables and chairs set up. (I believe some of those can be reserved in advance.) Floor space in front of the stage was clear in case you want to dance. There is a second level with seating that overlooks the main floor. Most have an unobstructed view of the stage. I sat all the way in the back by the soundman for the group. Yet, because it's such an intimate venue, I still wasn't far from the stage. PRIVATE AREA ============= There was a private area on the second floor (above the first floor bar) that is perfect if you have a group and you want them separated from the rest of the festivities. It is closed off from the rest of the insides, but there are sliding glass doors that open up to the venue, so you can be in the private area and see into the rest of the place. Almost like a very fancy box seat. (I wanted to get a picture but the door was locked.) SOUND ====== I was surprised the band sounded so good. With the high ceilings and industrial trusses on the ceiling I thought there might be a lot of echoing. But the sound was very good and just loud enough. SERVERS ======== We had roving servers who came around to take drink orders. You can tell who they are because they wear white long sleeved shirts. If you drink a lot you might want to go down to the bar to get your own drinks because the servers do get busy. FOOD ===== When this place has live music they only serve drinks. if you want food you can bring it in from somewhere else. AUDIENCE ========= Maybe this is just the way live music venues are now, but people where talking the whole time the band played. They've come to hear the music, but they treat it like it's background music. I don't get it, but I guess that's how it is now. Fortunately the band was loud enough to drown them out. This is definitely a great place to hear life music and I'm planning to visit this place regularly.

Yelp
Three stars fits the bill for Buffalo Rose. Branded as the pulse of Golden, the building Buffalo Rose occupies has been around for over 150 years. I encourage anyone to read up on their interesting history, as it was a barbershop, saloon, concert venue, etc. It's a great place to take out of towners. Their patio is first rate with a retractable roof to elevate those beautiful Colorado days into something even more magnificent. There are touches that pay homage to their history and unique building characteristics. I do love their sizable draft set up. As far as a modern day restaurant & bar, everything is just A-OK. The menu is pretty big and though many items sounds good, the execution leaves something to the imagination. On our most recent visit I ordered the Buffalo Chicken Wrap and the Green Chile Artichoke Dip. Both were fine at best. And my cocktail had Stranahan's whiskey in it, but wasn't particularly balanced. The space is so big and sometimes service can be a chore. After they dropped our menus off right away, our server took a long time to come back. So we were twiddling our thumbs waiting to order our food and drink. Overall, it's centrally located in Downtown Golden and on a nice day there's not a better patio to sit on. However, stick to a local beer and maybe an app. There are a few great places within walking distance that will knock your socks off. Just my two cents!

Grace N.

Yelp
Visiting from florida and Deb made this whole experience from extremely welcoming to bringing in the uniqueness of being somewhere so special. The food was great and the beer was cold

Alisa J.

Yelp
We had the classic burger, the rose burger, and the blowhole cocktail. The burgers were good and I liked my drink. It was basically a sweet martini. Our server was also super nice and we were seated pretty promptly on a Saturday night. The bathroom was clean. Overall a good restaurant for dinner.

Sanaz M.

Yelp
I love golden for all it has to offer. So one night my friend and I decide to hit up buffalo rose, she told me it has so much history! The inside atmosphere is awesome, but I wasn't so much a fan of their food menu or food options. I ordered a tofu sandwich and it was basic, nothing to fancy by any means. While I enjoyed reading about the history and the atmosphere along with good service I wasn't a huge fan of the food side of things.

Anna J.

Yelp
Decent service - food was reasonable and okay. It's nothing special- but the wait staff was good and we enjoyed the shaded patio after a long day of walking.

Melissa S.

Yelp
Amazing open space bar and western style atmosphere. Delicious cocktails. Didn't try the food but looks legit. Serving Golden since 1859!

J K.

Yelp
This is a nice easy restaurant in Golden that serves very good pub grub. The service we had was stupendous and felt very pleased by the attentiveness with our large party. We had salads and burgers, and they were good to very good. It's the kind of food that you'll be pleased to eat, but it won't be raving about it. It is what it is and wouldnt hesitate to recommend this place and would go here again. Cool old school tavern atmosphere is a bonus

Michelle A.

Yelp
Just stopped in after a Clear Creek hike and had a couple drinks, No Shame (delicious) and Coors Banquet with Cauliflower Wings 1/2 buffalo 1/2 sweet chili and poke nachos. Service was on point and everything great! Enjoyed seeing the dogs with other patrons around us.

Ali C.

Yelp
The bun made it worth it! Huge cinnamon buns in bananas foster, apple compote or berry. They are from a local coffee shop/bakery with a line 50+ ppl. The eggs were cooked to order, but the home fries were from a bag out of the freezer, not awful but meh. Full bar, cool ambiance and on the main drag. It is huge so rarely a wait when the diner down the block has 30+ min wait. Again, only rated it 4 stars because of the amazing bun!! Enjoy!

Gene G.

Yelp
We really enjoyed our first visit back since they renovated the place. Food and service was great. I had the BLTA and my wife had a grilled chicken salad. We will be back. It's always nice visiting golden and Buffalo Rose gives us another excuse to return to the area

Dianna B.

Yelp
We stopped in while visiting Golden Co. It has a great corner location and apparently was recently rebuilt. When you enter, it's got a great lobby, and the tables near the bar are all high tops, great for listening to the live music they had playing. We started with cauliflower wings, which were delicious. We went with the usual, buffalo and were pleasantly surprised that they were not over dressed. They had just the right amount of sauce. The food, a bison burger and bison short ribs were incredibly decadent. My only "complaint" is that the service was sort of slow, but that is because the bartender was also server, and he was a busy, busy man. They seemed to have a lot of young women hostesses but few actual wait staff. Over all, we would come back.

Rachel E.

Yelp
Super cool place to grab a drink, loved the blueberry mule! I got mine with vodka instead of whiskey. Lots of different beers on tap - the tangerine creamy was really good! Loved the old prohibition feel.

Derek K.

Yelp
To us, it was a western rose of enjoyment. I know many people didn't enjoy their food but our experience was great! Our waiter was very attentive and relaxed. The ambiance kept our attention and out chairs were so comfy. We each had a drink, nothing to complain about there. Then we had the meatloaf and taco trio. Each bite of the meatloaf was a sad story knowing it would end eventually. The tacos were just a good nice few bites.

Javier B.

Yelp
We came in the evening for drinks and appetizers and were not disappointed, We sat at the bar and had an excellent time enjoying the ambiance and the fresh air. They had a wide variety of cocktails on their menu as well as plenty of beers with a wide draft list. For food we had the skillet nachos as well as the cauliflower buffalo wings which were both amazing! I also got the opportunity to try the tuna wonton nachos which were my favorite! All of the food was fresh and tasted great! The staff was very friendly! This should definitely be on your list of places to try in Golden!

Elli G.

Yelp
Came here for dinner with my family. We are locals and come alot. It was a great experience. I'll start with the service. Our waiter was outgoing and attentive. The food was awesome! We had the trio appetizer which doesn't disappoint for a quick bite before dinner. The wild west burger was delish!! Unique with crispy onion rings inside the burger, which added great texture. The salads were great size and tasty. To end our dinner we got the bread pudding which was so good! Will definitely be back and we recommend visiting

Lance L.

Yelp
I will go with a solid four stars. They did a very nice remodel since the last time I came. It needed it as there are many nice places to enjoy your evening in downtown Golden. It went from old and dingy to what I consider upscale! We came for happy hour on a Friday afternoon, and the place was pretty crowded. Despite that the wait staff didn't miss a beat. We got nice table that overlooked the street. At first, I thought I was going to have to go the bar for drinks, but in pretty short order, here came the waters and "what can I get you". The restaurant side was closed for a special event that evening, but you can eat your dinner in the bar. I wasn't really impressed with the appetizer, but it worked as a snack. We stuck around for about an hour and walked away with two drinks, an appetizer with tip for around $30 bucks. Not bad!! I enjoyed the new look, service and value. Will I be back? You bet! I forgot to mention parking. If you just drive around the block even just a little bit, you will find something close by.

Visanu T.

Yelp
Great small venue for a suburb! We saw 6MDB 80s band. We saw them here years ago but seems like they upgraded the place with more reserved seating than GA. We got GA because I bought the tickets so early, I didn't see the reserved options but would have done those instead but we got there early enough that we got the last open table upstairs. As we waited to band to play and when they did play, it wasn't too loud that we were still having a decent conversation among ourselves. We also had table service which was convenient with restrooms around the corner which wasn't too busy. We snuck down to the front of the stage halfway through and Danced the night away! Overall, great small venue to see any bands. Would recommend getting reserved tables.

Jane N.

Yelp
My friend and I stopped in for drinks. I had the Spanish fly. It was very good but the drinks took so long to get here that I decided not to get another. I also ordered short ribs. They were okay but were served with truffle potatoes and no salt on anything. The menu was a simple newspaper. No description of type of sides. Service was slow and the "indoor seating " was not air conditioned. Great for drinks!

Ainsley E.

Yelp
We sat in the big patio area which was nice and open but also meant that we were swarmed by flies for most of our meal, though not sure what can be done about that if you are mostly outside. They have a good happy hour menu -- lots of food options and typical drink deals at a good price. Seemed like a fair amount of locals in there near the end of the work day. We ordered the poutine, southwest egg rolls, and spinach dip apps, and of the three the egg rolls were definitely the best. The other two were take it or leave it. I really enjoyed my burrata salad with added grilled salmon. The salad was fresh, the crostinis delicious and brushed with a bit of garlic, and the salmon was cooked perfectly. A very satisfying meal that didn't leave me feeling too full or heavy.

Yelp
Love this place. The ambiance is beautiful both in the bar and restaurant seating area. Great selection of food.

Yelp
We can only speak to the drinks but for $14, I'd expect at least a double pour and some flavor. Ambience is cool but its too expensive for what it is. Don't recommend.

Yelp
Went there for lunch today, the place was barely occupied. Got seated outside, a young man set up two outside heaters for us since it was cold out. The waitress took our order, our food arrived, unfortunately I was famished, I didn't realize I got the wrong dish (got the regular nachos instead of the tuna ones, and I didn't want to fuss about it so I just had that). Upon paying the check I advised the waitress that I got the wrong order and she actually asked me if I wanted to still pay for the tuna nachos rather than ones that were actual received. The food was okay, pricey for what you get. And the service was just okay. I probably won't return to this restaurant.
