After eating here for well over 5 years +, my wife and I have come to the conclusion that THIS IS THE BEST BURGER IN HOUSTON. We've probably eaten here 200 times or more (they helped us through the pandemic). We typically only come here for burgers and since they are so awesom we rarely stray but occasionally My Wife orders the Yard bird which is their incredible chicken sandwich and I have to say it's almost as good as their burger. Today I tried their spin on the elevated version of McDonald's fillet of fish and it was as good as it looked in the photo. The staff is always friendly and well groomed, and the restaurant is always spotless. There's typically a manager present, but we've never needed his services. Give this place a try, you will not be disappointed!!

Stopped by here for my first time yesterday. The guy taking our order was super cool. We ordered the double smash burger and mushroom Swiss burger. Both were amazing. You can taste how fresh the beef is. We also had the truffled tots and truffled fries. The tater tots were unique because they use little potatoes sticks basically and roll them into a tot and fry them. The truffle flavor was perfect and not overwhelming. I definitely recommend giving this place a try when looking for a good burger.

Delicious food. Fries were a little soggy, but that didn't stop me from eating them! Workers were polite. That chicken sandwich was life changing. If you have questions about the meaning of life, eat that chicken sandwich and all will be answered!

Great burgers done to your liking. Beef patty lacked a bit of flavor but still great. Garlic fries on the hand tasted good but far too greasy with no crunch. Overall one of the better burger joints in the area.

Just came from seeing Twister and looked to see what was in the area and so happy I ran into this place. It was getting near closing time but they were so accommodating. Everything tasted so fresh. The burgers were seasoned and smashed to perfection. Even the mushroom one was delicious. The buns were nice and soft. The portions were generous. We couldn't even finish the fries. The tots and the strawberry lemonade were amazing, too. I want to come back to try the chicken. Everything was perfect. Definitely worth a try!

Nice people, delicious food. I got the July special, The Blue, which was fantastic. My kid, who is very picky about her chicken tenders and fries, loved the food. Husband got the Texan and destroyed it. Some of the best sweet potato fries I’ve had in Houston. Best of all, dedicated fryers and grill for gluten-free safety! It’s the best price on gluten free burger in town that I know of, and it is a really good burger. Edit: I liked this place so much I decided to eat it two days in a row. I am in love. The tater tots are pretty much the best thing to ever happen to potatoes. The Momo is one amazing sandwich.

We love Buff Burger for a great quality burger! The manager or owner is super nice and always around. One of the best burgers in town for sure!! Truffle fries and tots are both rave worthy!! After Beryl hit we were thankful they were open and we picked up for the first time- just as good and amazing at home as it always is in house.

I ordered the Mushroom & Swiss, Texan, and the MoMo. Both burgers were delicious and well seasoned. The MoMo was a bit salty but the Buff Mayo made it taste yummy. I ordered the truffle fries…so so. I’ve had better. I didn’t order the tots because someone said it was not good but looking at it in person, I will come back and order that!

For whatever reason, there seem to be less-than-5-star-perfect reviews floating around, on here but I can honestly say I've never had a single issue with any aspect of Buff Burgers. Whether it's the service, the food quality, the friendly customer service, the ambiance, or the prices, they've consistently impressed me, not the price though Im frugal by nature. According to my Google map, my first encounter with Buff Burgers was six years ago in 2017. When I first saw the name, I got this notion that it was a burger place made for those of us who want to workout and that this burger was scientifically embued with protein on a macro level for gym-rats ‍. Surprisingly, I wasn't entirely wrong. The "buff burgers" here will make you work for it, but in the best possible way. I mean you might wanna walk iKea after this What sets Buff Burgers apart is their unwavering consistency. Their burgers consistently deliver an amazing taste, and the best part is that you won't feel lethargic afterward. In fact, one of my pickiest friends raved about the burger she ordered in a wrap for keto reasons, declaring it her all-time favorite. My go-to is the Texas burger - it's got everything I want on a burger except avocado (which I love). The bun is where perfection truly resides - not too dry, not too soft, just right with a slight crispiness. I've also ventured into the world of their avocado burger, and the combination of fresh avocado, oven-roasted tomatoes, fire-roasted poblanos, Tillamook pepper jack, and Fresno chili mayo creates a dynamic palette of flavors. It's a culinary journey that feels almost Mediterranean. And those shoestring fries? They're uncomplicated yet utterly addictive. - I got Queso fries this time The only thing missing is a Buff Burgers spot on the Northside of Houston/Spring/The Woodlands. If you're reading this, Buff Burgers team, consider it a humble request.

One of the best burgers in town. Service is pretty fast and is family friendly too. The flavor in the burgers is incredible. I just wish place was bigger.

I'd definitely go back for the tater tots. These aren't your regular tots. They are huge, in the shape of a coin and crispy. I got their avocado burger and it was good. Not the best but it's good & gets the job done. Cheese, peppers, avocado (duh). Two people could easily share this- its huge! Aside from the damn good tots, they also had a ranch jalapeño dip which is to die for! If I am in that area, I'd definitely go back for the tots.

I brought my dog to the Gulf Coast Center and this place was so close. I tried the holiday burger and thought it was delicious. Tastes gourmet and it's obviously made with good quality fresh ingredients. Also tried the truffle fries and OMG I am coming back for more of those. Highly recommended! The food was ready pretty fast. I didn't go inside but my brother commented on how clean the restaurant and restrooms were.

HAIR IN FOOD! I am a regular buff burger customer and usually order the Yardbird. My order was picked up from buff Burger at around 7:30 p.m. and my Uber eats driver was stuck in traffic due to a car accident, hence the late review. I took a bite of the chicken sandwich and it was divine, when I removed the white paper, a long brown hair was stuck in the chicken breading. I had to throw my entire order away. YOU NEED TO REQUIRE YOUR EMPLOYEES TO WEAR CAPS OR HAIR NETS!!!! WE SHOULD NOT HAVE TO PICK HAIR OUT OF FOOD. IT'S DISGUISTING!

I Just had the Goat burger medium with the tots, I love the spicy ketchup and truffle aioli. The lady that took my order was so sweet also!

Tasty food, nice people, and it's become a favorite whenever my son comes into town from Baylor.

I haven't been to Buff Burger in awhile. Since I was closer to I10, I decided to go there for lunch today. I recall in the past the burgers were always tasty and the fries were good too. Today neither was great! I asked for my cheeseburger to be cooked "medium well" and it came out medium & even a bit more ink in the center than I would deem acceptable. I asked for crispy fries since I abhor undercooked or limp fries. They came out tasting like the oil hadn't been changed in awhile and had a very unappealing taste. My lunch experience was not a success at all and I can't imagine going back. The reason I gave 2 stars is the lady taking my order & ringing it up was nice & efficient.

Honestly I don't remember what kind of burger I got, just that it was very yummy and well-cooked. The plain fries were a little lacking in my opinion, which is why I'm not giving a full five stars. They just lacked flavor and weren't salty enough for me. The truffle fries were really good though! They were also ready fairly quickly.

Great burgers, great price, and hand cut fries...do I need to say more? I've only ever gotten it delivered from apps, but I usually receive the order pretty efficiently.

Ive been here twice and each time the cashier (different ppl) were extremely patient with us because we asked a million questions and changed our order a few times. I don't understand why it was so hard for us to order burgers Speaking of burgers; they were delicious! Seasoned very well. If the burger doesn't already have an aïoli sauce; add one. I really enjoy the truffle, aïoli and garlic aïoli. The fires were also A1! You can order from their menu or build your own. They also serve beer for the beer drinkers. Yes! I will be back!

Went to Buffburger with my daughter and 2 grandsons for lunch. Daughter and I had baby Buff burgers with cheese. My grandsons had regular Buffburgers with cheese. As usual, they were really good and so were the fries.

The Beyond smash burger is excellent, better than others I've tried. My husband had the Buff Classic and liked it. He's picky about his burgers - doesn't like In-n-Out or Shake Shack - so him saying he'd happily go to Buff Burger again is a big deal.

A lot of restaurants don't offer plant based options so I was excited to try Buff's Beyond smash burger. It was entirely plant-based and very delicious. Would absolutely eat again.

We stopped by for a late Sunday lunch. There were a few people in the restaurant but no line to place your order. We ordered a Texan, yardbird, and truffle fries. We were given our order number and waited for the food to be delivered. Next to the soda station, there were different sauces to try, so we decided to try both the aioli and spicy ketchup. The food was taken to our table, and we were shocked by the size of the Texan burger. It was decently large, and the truffle fries were more than enough for 2 people, could possibly feed 4. The chicken patty on the yardbird was also large, and the pickles were thick cut. Starting with the Texan, it was a bit disappointing the burger patty itself didn't have much flavor, and the bbq sauce had espresso in it, which gave it a weird tang As per the yardbird, it had what they called an SSS sauce which was also a bit strange and didn't add to the sandwich but overpowered the pickles and breading on the chicken. The fries were honestly the best thing we tried. They were shoestring like but crispy and flavorful. Overall, Buffburger was a 7/10.

Without question the worst restaurant in Houston. I walked in a simple kids meal and they could not even do that. I wouldn't wish that place on a snake

It's an ok burger, but the weirdest thing were the tater tots. I looooove tater tots. I'm fact, one reason we came here was for tots. But these aren't regular tater tots and they aren't good. I don't know what it is, but it ain't it.

One sign of a good restaurant is the ability of management to see if it's something is wrong, and to fix it, after my last review, my next visit, the manager came up to me apologize for what happened and truly made everything right, this is one major reason why I keep coming back to BuffBurger , when a mistake happens, they fix it. Thank you for always striving. They have the highest quality of both food and service.

This place maybe be simple and small but the burgers are Fresh and Delicious! They have different types of burgers but my favorite one is the Avocado Burgers. The sauce that they add to the burger is amazing. I love semi spicy food and this is my go to burger. They also add poblano pepper with tomatoes and melted cheese. Once you take a bite you feel the juiciness of the burger and sauce. It's so good i even want to lick my fingers! The environment is clean and friendly. You don't have to be dressy. But be ready to EAT a moth watering burger. You will be satisfied with the freshness of the burger and the choices that they have..... oh did i mention that they have Beer!! Highly recommend!

We had the burgers and fries. Burgers were delicious and the French fries were even better! The kids eat free Monday and Tuesday all day. Yay! The service was excellent

Well.... The food is Amazing. I love the burgers over here.The best, especially truffle burger that was removed from the menu. I went today with my family after a while and to my surprise a lot changed. First -my bill for family of four went from 64 to 84 dollars. Now they charge You for everything extra (0.75)including best in town truffle Aioli. The beer. cost 7$. I understand price increases but 30% is a it too much. I won't be coming back anymore.

Not my first time and won't be my last. Legitimately one of the best burgers in Houston. Never disappointed. The restaurant is in a strip mall off if I-10 so it's easy to get to. Rustic setting. Staff is always friendly. Beer is cold. Burgers are amazing.

Lot's of burger places around but this is one of my favorites. The burgers are interesting and always seem fresh. I like the fries and they are always not. It is a small place but plenty of room to enjoy a great burger.

Great burgers but slightly on the pricier side. I got the goat cheese one because I love goat cheese, and I've never come across a burger place that had goat cheese with their burgers. I thought that was pretty unique. It was so delicious and filling. My friend and I got a side of truffle parmesan fries on the side to share. I like that the truffle aioli sauce is self-serve. The fries were shoestring shaped and were good, but I wished they weren't as soggy. Service here was good and there's plenty of seating also.

Inconsistent We ate here like 1 week ago. It was great, so we ordered to go today. Today, it was terrible. The patty felt like a frozen patty. This is suppose to be a fresh burger! The patty was both undercooked and chewy. It was ordered as well done but it was clearly patches of pink in both burgers. We tossed our burgers midway through them, they were inedible. I don't recommend this place.

So, tried this place years ago when we lived in Jersey Village, but not sure why I never did a review because everything is top shelf. I also love the fact that they "local source" all their veggies among other things. Their fresh-made dipping sauces are also a positive in that aspect. If you've never given sweet potato fries a chance, you're in for a great treat. I love the fact that they use arugula on most their burgers because it somehow understands the assignment, as the youngsters say these days. haha!

This is the best damn burger in Houston, PERIOD! I just had the smash burger. It was a flavor bomb, cooked to perfection, and melted in my mouth. The house tots are spectacular. Try them with the spicy ketchup and thank me later. Oh, the smash burger is only offered for a limited-time so hurry up and get yours.

Went here because they serve all natural hamburger meet and don't use preservatives. The food was delicious and Holt at the register was great. We will be coming back.

I stumbled upon BuffBurger after visiting a nearby IKEA. Besides the great name, this counter-serve burger shop is noteworthy for their tasty burgers. I tried the classic burger on my first visit and left happy. Five stars.

The mushroom Swiss is my all time favorite along with their truffle fries . My partner had the Texan one and it was a bit salty but other than that, great burgers.

Great food and service! A bit expensive for burgers and fries but you get what you pay for! Also they have a great deal on Monday and Tuesday nights where kids eat free! Love coming here with the family and enjoying the delicious burgers. Recommend the avocado burger!

I ordered to-go and had the Avocado Burger (well done) and added a fried egg to it. Probably would not get it medium well next time. (I think being "well done" dries the patty out too much.) Overall, the burger still had a very good flavor... the ingredient combination was delicious! Fries were good, but too greasy for my liking. If I visit again, I would ask them to make the fries crispy. Would eat here again.

High quality food, you get tons of French fries and the truffle fries are amazing, the service is decent but the food takes a while to get done. The restaurant is clean and quiet, there are TVs playing sports most of the time.

Ordered BuffBurger for delivery and had a very mixed experience. Good: food was absolutely delicious. Ordered the Yardbird, truffle burger, and the cookies and cream shake. My girlfriend loves truffle stuff and this was definitely one of the most truffle-y burgers we've had (in a good way). Fries that came with the burger were tasty but the jalapeno ketchup was the real star. The shake was also pretty solid. Bad: There were several mistakes with the order. For the yardbird, I ordered truffle fries to go with it, and the entire side was missing. Also, I asked for no pickles for the yardbird, but instead I got no toppings at all which made it just a chicken on a bun with some sauce. The ingredients were still tasty, but I was really disappointed because I'm sure the yardbird would have been amazing with the slaw, and the meal felt incomplete without the side of truffle fries. Unfortunately, the takeout bag is stapled so there is no way to tell if the order is correct until you're just about to eat it. Overall, the food was amazing, but I was quite disappointed that some key parts of the meal were forgotten.

It's basically just another burger joint. There's nothing really special about it. Food is decent. The service is pretty good as a small place that much of a scenery.

Mouthwatering flavor at each bite and to top it with truffle fries that are accompanied by a truffle-aioli dipping sauce is beyond what you need to get that burger fix in. Good but expensive. The burgers are delicious. I'd suggest more if you were in the mood for something fancyish (ie with goat cheese or truffle aioli etc) than if you just wanted your average burger. I'd also suggest more getting a "standard menu item" than something more customized as that seemed a source of issues. We ordered the shareable truffle parmesan tots but received fries instead. One of our party ordered a grilled chicken sandwich with avocado (only topping) and got some kind of cheese on it as well. They weren't things worth complaining about / asking them to correct, but for $40/2 people, it seems like your orders should be more correct? Perhaps just bad luck. We were also almost misdelivered a Texas burger which looked delicious and I might have to try next time. Lol. They were tasty and reasonably quick and clean and the waitstaff was nice. They were busy but never quite to the point that they ran out of tables (Sunday, slightly late lunch)
