The Best Restaurants In Rogers Park

"If you’re not someone who dreams about eating lamb seekh kabob so tender that it melts in your mouth, a visit to Bundoo Khan will change that. This fantastic meat-centric Pakistani restaurant on Devon also serves the best biryani in the city, the juiciest chicken malai boti we’ve ever had, and special rolls stuffed with beef or chicken wrapped in naan so soft and fluffy we’d like to take a nap under it. The rest of the menu is made up of karahi and grilled meats, which is what you’ll find on most of the tables in the large dining room, filled with families and small groups of locals. " - john ringor, veda kilaru

Where To Eat After A Bad Week

"Mercury’s not even in retrograde and your computer has managed to die during all three of your client presentations this week. Send that laptop to the IT department and head straight to Bundoo Khan for lamb seekh kabob so tender that it renders knives (and teeth) unnecessary. This meat-centric Pakistani restaurant on Devon also serves excellent biryani, juicy chicken malai boti, and special rolls stuffed with beef or chicken wrapped in naan so soft and fluffy, you could take a nap under it and pretend your technology setbacks were just part of a nightmare." - adrian kane, veda kilaru

25 Dishes for Offal Lovers Around NYC | Eater NY

"While most offal recipes concentrate on just one or two organs, some throw everything into the mix except the kitchen sink. One example is a dish named kat-a-kat, found within the Pakistani canon. It puts goat or lamb kidney, heart, brain, liver, and testicles into a stir fry with a gingery yogurt gravy. The advantage for first-time organ eaters is that distinguishing between the ingredients is difficult, so if one of the above makes you squeamish — just plow ahead!" - Robert Sietsema

We traveled all the way from the West Coast to explore the culinary offerings on W Devon Avenue, and this restaurant truly stood out as a gem. It is, without question, the most authentic representation of Karachi-style BBQ we’ve encountered in the United States. We ordered the BBQ platter and Bihari kabab, which featured an assortment of tikkas, seekh kababs, and chicken tikka botis. Each item was exceptionally flavorful—beautifully marinated, perfectly spiced, and grilled to perfection. The seasoning struck a flawless balance: bold without being overwhelming. The puri parathas were also outstanding, reminiscent of what one would find back home in Karachi. The authenticity of the flavors transported us instantly—a rare and special experience in the U.S. The ambiance of the restaurant was warm and inviting, blending traditional charm with a relaxed, family-friendly atmosphere. It felt lively yet comfortable, making it a great setting to enjoy a hearty meal. The service was equally commendable—attentive, courteous, and genuinely hospitable, enhancing the overall dining experience. We’re excited to return and try more items from their menu, and will update this review as we do. This place is a must-visit for anyone seeking truly authentic Pakistani BBQ. If you haven’t been here yet, you’re missing out on a culinary experience that’s second to none.

The service here was amazing and so fast! Wait times were not long at all. The employees are probably the best part of this restaurant. Their energy is on another level and they really take it to the next step when listening to your needs! The food was absolutely delicious! We would definitely come again.

Google
I love it when I visit a restaurant and the experience breaks my norm. Certainly happened here. I normally don't like sauces, normally wouldn't eat cucumber but here I did. Dipped the cucumber in the sauce and it was delicious. I ordered Dahl, rice, and somosas. They were all so so good. The mango drink I had was also very tasty. This is a great place to have a meal and socialize with your friends and family.

Google
We dined at this restaurant for the first time, and we were impressed by their excellent barbecue, specifically the Pakistani-style food. The highlights of our meal were the Chicken Tikka and Bihari Kabob. However, be sure to check the prices, as some menu items can be quite expensive. For instance, we paid $38 for a small plate of Mutton Karahi, which was very spicy and difficult for us to eat. Overall, we had a great experience and I highly recommend this restaurant.

Google
We had a great experience here! The cheese naan was absolutely delicious—the kids loved it. The garlic naan was top-notch, super fresh and tasty even on its own. The Highway Chicken Karahi was full of flavor, and the grilled platter was yummy and well-prepared. Good portion sizes and solid service. Would definitely come back!

Google
The tables are quite small, making it difficult to fit all the food comfortably. Service tends to be slow, especially during dinner rush hours when it gets very crowded. They need to improve both spacing and serving efficiency, though it’s clear they’re trying their best. The lamb chops were delicious, but I wasn’t a fan of some of the chicken karahi dishes. Our bill was more than 300 dollars for 9 people. One major concern is the pricing — the added taxes and 18% gratuity feel excessive, especially at a time when everyone’s trying to manage their expenses. A more flexible pricing or service model would be appreciated. Due to the heavy crowd, it’s understandable that waiters sometimes forget orders, but it does affect the overall experience.

Google
nsanely good. I had the garlic naan, chicken biryani, and chicken Kashmiri—some of the best flavors I’ve ever tasted. The service was excellent and the atmosphere was warm and inviting.

Google
Starting from welcome greetings upon entering until the end we had great service and warm hospitality here. We ordered mix kabob platter and you can tell each variety tastes uniquely good and fresh. Goat Karahi and naan came in reasonably fast. You can tell they care for their guests and always nearby to make sure the hospitality is served. Love their food and will recommend all to try as well!

Yelp
Great grilled chicken, spicy, decent service. Very busy place on the weekends, which is generally a good indication that the food is authentic.

Yelp
Bundoo khan hits the spot every time! I love this place for authentic Pakistani bbq! We got the beef Bihari kebab, the beef kebabs and the goat chops. All were perfectly cooked and nicely flavored. The bread is so fluffy and light I could eat it alone. We also got the falooda which was nice but very different from traditional Pakistani falooda: had jello and canned fruits in it. The servers are nice but the food took 30 minutes to prepare which are rather annoying.

Yelp
food is 5 star!! amazing lamb curry and naan. the chicken seekh kebab was so juicy. service was 3 stars at best. they kept bringing us the wrong food. the floor and table were very dirty. the servers were giving us a lot of attitude when we asked for the correct food to be brought. they ignored us when we asked for one dish to be canceled since it took so long to come out that we had already finished our meal. seems like takeout might be the way to go here! i can't recommend the dine in experience.

Yelp
Absolutely delicious. The smoked karahi chicken was so good- just the right amount of Smokey flavor. I would have liked more salan though just because it was so damn good. Beef samosas were good/ very spicy. Not a huge fan of Bihari kabob- the taste was good but texture is a bit too mushy for me. Mango lassi was a perfect dessert. Service was okay but could have been better, they only gave us 3 glasses of water for 4 people, weren't very attentive on refills and asking us if we needed anything. Will definitely be back

Yelp
I'm on a chicken karahi kick so had to stop by Bundoo Khan for some authentic highway karahi. Also grabbed the bihari kebab and super fluffy and fresh garlic naan. Everything tasted amazing- the karahi was spicy for me but I loved every tear filled second. Service was friendly but we had to repeat our order a few times. Understandable as place was packed and very busy.

Yelp
Had never been here but got told by multiple people that it's very good and they have good karahi. So we stopped by here for dinner. The place was clean and pretty busy for a 5 pm dinner. We were seated right away and were told to use the QR code and look at the menu and when ready to flag a server down to order. Seemed like the servers were shared amongst the restaurant so you could ask anyone for anything at anytime which seemed to work well. We ordered some BK Beef Samosa for appetizers and then ordered a Highway Chicken Karahi (Half) and Beef Seekh Kabab Roll for entrees. The karahi was really really good. Lived up tot he hype and everything that I was told about how good it is. The chicken was moist and very well spiced. Came in a big pot of it's namesake. And the quantity was more than enough. The roll was also very good. The paratha was hot and soft filled to the brim with the beef seekh kabob and vegetable and drizzled chutneys. The beef samosas were good and fresh and piping hot. The mince was flavorful and the wrapper was very crispy. All in all a very affordable and flavorful dinner for a family of five. Will definitely go back and maybe try some of their bbq dishes.

Yelp
Bundoo Khan is an authentic spot with unique BBQ entrees that never disappoint. This is my second time here, and it's become my go-to place when my friends and I crave some genuine Indian non-vegetarian BBQ. Despite being busy, getting a table is easy, and the service is both good and fast. This time, I ordered the Highway Chicken Kadhai (chicken curry) in half with butter naan. The portion was perfect for 2-3 people. I also had the Chicken Seekh Kabab (like ground meat croquettes) and Chicken Malai Boti (marinated chicken). All the dishes were absolutely flavorful, and I loved every bite. They offer a full range of BBQ entrees, fast food, rolls, and grilled items. The place is huge, with tables that can accommodate bigger groups. Plus, they provide containers for leftovers, which I appreciated since I took some to go. If you're looking for authentic and tasty BBQ, Bundoo Khan is definitely worth a visit.

Yelp
I ordered the Philly steak sandwich/fries. Delicious and large portions of meat. Friendly staff and clean restaurant.

Reminded me of my home country! Soo soo good! Highly recommended!!

Yelp
I am foodie and I love good food but unfortunately alot of restaurants just disappoint you. With Bundoo Khan that was not the case. I always saw big lines out the restaurant but didn't wanna stand in one so always took a pass but this time I went inside and I am glad I did. The ambience was nice and clean except thr entrance. The staff was very attentive and catered to our needs. Sat down and before I know the menu was there. Choose my food and started waiting for it. Water was brought in promptly and then salad. The food came at the right now not early nor late. Started with Karahi and my mind was blown away then tried the rice and same, it was so delicious that I over ate. The staff kept checking on us throughout which was nice. I am telling you this is the best Pakistani food in chicagoland no questions asked. Actually it's the true authentic Pakistani food as alot of other restaurants confuse indian with Pakistani food. Both are very different cuisines.

Yelp
4.7 Stars. Food was fresh, seasoned to perfection, marinated to perfection, quality meat. I ordered the Lamb Tikka Boti and it had to be the best lamb that I have ever had. The table ordered ordered the Goat Biryani and the Chicken Tikka. We all ordered Naan. The sauces are literally the best I have had. Staff went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and they were able to anticipate our needs. Service was a 5/5.

Yelp
ignore the biryani. Try the barbecue . The prices on the menu is way too expensive compared to other restaurants. The quantity does not justify the expensive prices. However, the quality of the food is good and it could be improved a lot more..

Yelp
This place was book-marked, on my radar, and then recommended by Pakistani friends so I figured it was a no-brainer. We were somewhat in the area and decided to make the trek to Devon to check it out. We got lucky in that we were seated at the last open table. It took a little bit for the staff to realize we needed a waitress but once that happened it was smooth sailing. The samosas were excellent to kick things off. Then the chicken tikka - which I saw another table order - was on the top of the list for me and didn't disappoint. And finally the Highway Paneer was very good but a little too spicy for the girls. Of course, I could have eaten their naan all day long. Very good food. Nice atmosphere. Excellent option if you are in the area.

Yelp
Amazing Bihari kababs and Tikka's. BBQ is delicious and properly cooked. Service and ambience is great. Must visit every time I am in Chicago!

Yelp
I've only had food picked up from here, so I can't speak on customer service, but I have to say this- please do better on your chicken strips and fries! The saving grace for almost all South Asian and Asian cuisine restaurants is that they have chicken strips and fries because it's something picky eaters and children can eat. Forget about having a frozen option, the option over here looks like it's inedible. Yes, I get this option for a child, but I eat it as well, and I wouldn't even suggest to bring family to this place because I know the chicken and fries option looks like it's not even worth one dollar, so the prices they're charging is a stretch. Children also deserve good quality food, not whatever this is. I would have taken a picture to post but it was not appetizing and I think it would do better for this restaurant to up their game on at least this option than for me to deter people with that picture. It looks like it was uncooked and freezer burned and I didn't even offer it to my child. The karahi had a really weird ginger taste, almost like it went rancid, and the chicken Tikka was good, although on the spicy side. I know that Pakistanis like things on the spicy side, but if we ask for medium spice then that is what we mean. Until they get an actual fried chicken option, we won't be coming again. There's too many good pakistani options to settle for mediocre.

Aisha K.

Yelp
The place started off being excellent. Over the years the food quality and taste is just not there any longer. For the last 2 times we have been there Chicken Karahi dishes were not cooked enough. Beef Bihari kabobs- you couldn't taste the meat since it was packed with spices. Nan, mango Lassi and service was pretty good

Yelp
Went with my friends on a Friday night and we were seated within 15-20 minutes. We got the aloo palak, mixed grill platter and nihari to share. Had it with polao and the garlic naan. It was more than plenty of food for 4 people and we had leftovers to take home. Food came out fast, and all of the entrees were flavorful and the meat was high quality. The mango lassi was also solid. I am usually not a fan of desi desserts but the ras malai was also amazing and not super sweet. I would return for sure.
google avatar

Yelp
What amazing food and service .. I loved the ambient lighting. I will definitely recommend this place to anyone wishing to try Pakistani or Indian cuisine. I had the Karahi and mixed grill with the most delicious Naans.
google avatar

Austin S.

Yelp
My food was pretty good, and the vibes were nice, but they really didn't have many options.

Arzina A.

Yelp
I've tried this place multiple times and it never disappoints! I've tried multiple things, including grilled items, gravy, items, rice dishes and bread and everything always is so tasty. Definitely recommend for a good Pakistani food experience.
google avatar

Cameron F.

Yelp
I'm honestly not super familiar with a lot of Indian/Pakistani food, but I saw this place was recommended in the Infatuation and we were nearby so we gave it a shot. It was totally empty when we walked in on a Saturday at noon. We really don't know a lot of food, so we just tried some recommendations. We got the Lamb Kabab and Goat Biryani. The Lamb was amazing and I would go back just for that. The Goat Biryani was also quite good. Not sure if they're house-made, but their complimentary sauces were absolutely delicious too (the spicy red sauce and sweet yogurt sauce). We would come back just for the lamb, and would like to try more.

Amun M.

Yelp
The food is very mediocre and the staff doesn't seem to care about anything. Very overhyped the Texas one is the best

Yelp
Looking for authentic Pakistani food in Chicago, you need to check out Bundoo Khan ASAP! Walking on Devon Ave and noticed this place was packed and decided to give it a try and it was the best decision. The food was absolutely delicious. As you walk in to the restaurant you are welcomed with the amazing aroma of the freshly prepared kabobs. There is a glass wall and you can see the kabobs getting prepared. We didn't have reservations so put our names on the gwaitlist. We were seated within 15 minutes. The place was super busy and rightfully so. We tried the zinger burger, highway chicken Karahi, grill meat platter, daal, and naan. I can't rave about the food enough, it was perfectly cooked and the portions size was great. The dishes are so fresh and flavorful. The highway karahi is the star dish and a must try. The grill platter was also so good and kabobs were moist and not dry at All. Daal also tasted really good. The zinger burger was so tasty and juicy. Special mention for the fries, you can't stop eating them. Check out Bundoo Khan to enjoy some traditional Pakistani dishes. Highly Recommend !

Yelp
This was a pretty amazing experience. Like lots of brown people in the midwest I've been a longtime observer of things on Devon (including working up there for a couple years), and this is a standout. It is very rare to find a restaurant that really specializes in grilled items and so far as I can tell, actually uses charcoal. That one element makes a major difference in the quality and flavor of your grilled dishes, particularly in adding the smoky flavors that define BBQ traditions around the globe. I had a single order of the lamb boti: amazing. Has to be one of the best grilled lamb dishes I've had anywhere. It was amazing how soft the lamb was despite cooking on such high heat as one does on a grill. But there are several things about this place that are exceptional in addition to that. The service and dining room are both excellent. It has been hard at times to find places on Devon that really offer a proper dining experience, especially in service. The dining room is comfortable and well lit. I came alone, but I would love to come back with a crew: I know they would have a really nice time. One thing that really blows my mind is their offer of standard grilled items like filet mignon, etc. For a restaurant in this part of town that's really something: they've truly owned their identity as a restaurant specializing in the grill and let that push them to expand their menu in a way that's pretty surprising. A family behind me was telling their server how they always come to Bundoo Khan when they come to shop on Devon. You can imagine why. This is a special place within this neighborhood. My friends have all recommended it for a reason.

Yelp
what a gem of a restaurant. the ambiance is amazing- it feels as if you are in a cleaner, modern version of the motherland, without losing the authenticity and true vibe of such. the food was INCREDIBLE. my family and i entered the restaurant after a long day of fasting, and were immediately greeted with a refreshing roohafza drink as well as scrumptious samosas. we ordered malai chicken boti, beef seekh kabab, as well as daal (lentils) and rice, with plenty of chapati and naan. it was the best food i've had in chicagoland to date. incredibly delicious with every bite, so fresh and fulfilling. we also tried a new item secret off-menu item (chicken cheese haindy) that was out of this world! should definitely become a staple on the menu. the best part of all was the awesome service. the owner of the restaurant personally stopped at our table to see how we were enjoying our meal. can't wait to go back!

Altaf A.

Yelp
Old food reheated Likely chef changed Expected better not quality of food it used to serve

Nancy S.

Yelp
Looking forward to returning to Bundoo Kahn. Lively atmosphere and packed with people waiting for tables by the time we left. We got there around 6:30 and did not have to wait for a table. The service was almost overly attentive, multiple servers checking on us frequently. Most memorable, delicious dishes that night were the Beef Samosas, Garlic Naan and the Kashmiri Chicken Karahi. In fact, the Kashmiri Chicken Karahi was the all-star hit at the table, with it's creamy, flavorful sauce. So satisfying.
google avatar

Ikra Z.

Yelp
Food 9/10 Service 7/10 There's always Line/wait. But its worth it. We went twice for their kebobs. the Beef Bihari just melts in your mouth. We order Mix platter kebob the second time with puri parata it was an excellent choice. The chicken tikka wasnt mixed well with spices, gave me a bad tummy. If you request spicy tikka, in that case they prolly just bruch liquid Red chilly powder on the top. So chicken tikka kinda disappointed me. Service is quit slow given how crowded it is. They probably hired new staffs, didn't get any water glass after I sent back the 1st time due to dirtiness. Other than that I would deffinity recommend.
google avatar

Yelp
Service took a long time for waiter to take our order. Waited 30 min to get seated. Food was okay. Ambiance- very loud.
google avatar

Punga I.

Yelp
Nice food and service. Servers are watching you like a hawk so you don't have to ask for anything twice which is always nice. Quite a long menu so you can order a lot of things. Karahis and grilled items are great. We tried Truck stop Chicken Karachi and Kashmiri Chicken Karahi. Seating area is also nice. Now what needs improvement. Parking is a problem (general Devon problem) but it adds to the experience. Also no salty lassi. Please have lassi without sugar for those avoiding sugars. Also have more desserts (this is for those who do want sugars ;-))

Yelp
Visited twice in a week and got best service. We Had a great time eating there delicious food. We ordered bbq Plater with Poori Paratha , Garlic Nan, my son love the cheese burger it was so freshly made and My son loved it. Visiting for Virginia USA.
google avatar

Isra A.

Yelp
We tried out the combo grill meat platter and goat biryani with some fresh naan. The naan was but everything else was meh. I know this place gets a lot of hype but I wasn't impressed, the meat was mostly dry (especially the tandoori chicken) and the biryani was alright with very few pieces of meat and a small portion. Also the service was slow and I don't think I'll be going there again, especially since the price and quality and portion ratios were off. We also tried a mango lassi which was good but not coming back solely for.
google avatar

Preston O.

Yelp
Great bang for your buck. If you're feeling safe the butter chicken is great for your "I'll order chicken fingers at dinner" friends but for you I wouldn't sleep on the Beef Samosas, Goat Chops, and Puri Paratha. Seriously good food

Mirsub K.

Yelp
Food and Ambiance is great There is a 30 minutes wait but it was Saturday evening Service is ok but again they were very busy
google avatar

Ali K.

Yelp
We ordered the lamb karahi, aloo bhindi along with nan. The nan were not good. We ordered the plan nan, garlic nan and onion nan. They almost seemed undone and all tasted the same . The lamb karahi was pretty good however there was very little meat in the karahi. It was fresh and had a great taste, I just wish there was more meat. And lastly, the aloo bhindi was horrible. Filled with oil. The bhindi was soo tinybloke it came out of a can or something not sure. Not a fan at all. Overall the karahi was good minus not having enough meat and everything else sucked.

Yelp
Nom nom nom nom nom nom Get the Highway chicken karai. You might find it a bit too oily but it tastes amazing!

Yelp
Came to Bundoo RIGHT before my flight as my last meal of Chicago and it was worth it! We waited outside as the store opens late for lunch. The server was very sweet and seated us and quickly gave us water on this hot day. We ordered the Highway Karahi, Mixed Grill with assorted naans. SOOOO GOOD!! I can literally sit there and eat this all day. The karahi is full of flavor - not too spicy where your mouth is burned but it's good where you actually feel the Smokey stir fry of the chicken emulsified with the spices. Will definitely come back on my next trip to Chicago.

Mary K.

Yelp
My family has order from this restaurant a few times. Usually food is pretty good. However, in my most recent experience, I was pretty disappointed not only from what I received in my take-out order, but also the overall response from the front desk and management. I ordered the "Highway Goat Leg Karahi" dish that very explicitly states on the online menu that there's ONE POUND of goat leg meat in the dish itself. When I opened the container after a long drive home, I found almost 90% of the dish was bones. Since, I'm getting home and having to feed the family, I ended up serving all the food and while people were eating I went into the living room to call Bundoo Khan and make a complaint. To my surprise, the little front desk girl asks me to take a STUPID PICTURE of the dish and send it off to her?!?! I explained that the food has already been portioned out, so what exactly is she expecting from a dumb picture. Little simpleton front desk girl replies that she needed to show the chef what had happened and that it'd be helpful for them so as to resolve the problem. She ends up texting me a number (847) 846-5351 to send the pictures to. I ended up having to ask my uncle to stop eating and intrude on his dining experience so that I could satisfy this absolutely asinine request to have a picture taken of his plate of food. After jumping through all these hoops, I get a call back from the simpleton front desk twerp only to find out that she's complaining that she can't quite make out the video clip. NOW MIND YOU, they asked only for a picture and I took the extra step to provide a little video clip that would provide "more information" by detailing all the pieces of bones without meat in the dish. I explained to front desk twerp-girl that, it's not my problem that they can't view the video clip. Furthermore, I don't understand what they think they are going to do with this information? I'm making a complaint. I am not doing this to obtain free food. I just want credit back for that one dish because that's $35 of something I never received!!!! Stupid little front desk twerp then responded that she'd get someone from management to call back within 24 hours. I just laughed and said, "LOOK. You're a desi restaurant and customer service is NOT your main focus. It never is in many of these restaurants. The fact that you needed me to send you pictures to prove the dish was not up to par, simply exemplifies my point even further." To date, no one has called me back and honestly, I don't care. I'm just calling my credit card company and disputing the charge all together. In the end, I'll win because I've gone through this process before with other establishments. The thing is, ALL this hassle and loss of business reputation over a $35 dish is SIMPLY DUMB!!!!!! Just goes to show, that the people who run this place are penny wise and pound stupid! This kind of short-sightedness is the bane of many businesses and usually the death knell for restaurants. With so many other great options on Devon, Bundoo Khan does NOT stand out as a place that I need to go out of the way for. Many other places on Devon St. offer the exact same dishes that Bundoo Khan does.

Yelp
I will get murdered for saying this: Bundoo Khan's cooking is better than my mum's The Bihari beef roll is straight up one of the most delicious things I've ever eaten in this world. The combo of smoky, tender beef with refreshing and zingy salad is to die for. The Karachi chickens are a must try. I can't believe the 1/2 portion comes with enough chicken to feed a family of 5. I can't imagine how big a full order is. I love that they focus on grilled items so the menu is relatively simple. Absolutely worth waiting for as long as it takes for the order because the food is phenomenal and extremely well prepared. Bundoo Khan is an essential stop on any Chicago trip... heck, on any trip within 50 miles of Chicago

Yelp
Bundoo Khan is a gem in Chicago's dining scene, offering an authentic taste of Pakistan. The lamb seekh kabob is a revelation, melting in your mouth with each bite. The biryani is arguably the best in the city, and the chicken malai boti is exceptionally juicy. While the menu is heavily skewed towards meat lovers, the few vegetarian options are notable. The bustling atmosphere, filled with families and locals, adds to the charm. Definitely a must-visit for anyone craving genuine, flavorful Pakistani dishes!

Yelp
We decided to stop in here for dinner and it was pretty good! We got a ton of food, including a mango lassi and veggie samosas.

Yelp
Overall was great. Samosa was good. Naan was good. Daal was good. I wish they have more vegetarian options.

Yelp
The Beef Bihari Kabab was just amazing, superb. Kashmiri (white) Chicken Karahi was bland, don't order that. Spicy Chicken Tikka and Beef Bihari Kabab best option, enjoy with Puri Paratha at this Bundoo Khan. Dont order other things. Famous of these 3 things.

Yelp
Ruined our evening by serving rotten beef kabob and not apologizing after recognizing their fault! Been going there for years, but yesterday the attitude was idgf kind, like eat and leave kinda thing! We don't care what we serve you pay in full because you're an idiot! I'm so sad that we didn't make a scene in-front of other customers! We approached them personally so other customers don't listen! I think it was the biggest mistake we should have been yelling at them for serving rotten food that can make us sick! Specially when you dine in with kids so sad! Next time if you don't have fresh say you are out! Have some dignity!

Yelp
We went today for my wife birthday and it turned out the kabobs were rotten and were smelly..at first the people at reception didn't believe that then later I personally brought the food to them and told them to taste and see to which they declined and then I had them smell the food to which they didn't have anything to say ..I have been coming here for years and now the service and food quality has gone down..I'm going to put some pictures of the food and receipt that I paid for ..the strange part was I asked the person who was preparing kabobs to taste it he said he doesn't eat beef and he replied there were 70 tables today and he was tired and he couldn't reply ,after coming back I have been in bathroom for a long time I'm guessing it's diarrhea..lol long story short bandoo khan is good restaurant over the years and we come all the way from suburbs to get good food ..but today was very disappointing..I would recommend you to closely look at hygiene and food next time ..first they give you bad food and then they act like it's your fault and give you attitude..at the end I lost appetite left the food and paid the whole bill..didn't want to create any scene..

Yelp
Incredible barbecue, not much more to say. My family is Pakistani and we all loved this place. I love a smoky Bihari kabob and this did not disappoint. Would love to go back when I next visit Chicago.

Yelp
Oh nothing like this place that I have had! Those kebabs are mouth watering and sooooo juicy.. I remember the first time I walked into this restaurant and was blown away with the aroma! But it was so packed that I didn't get seated but swore to drive back all the way from Indy "Just for this" and I did!!! And oh! I did not regret it one bit! Must try- the kebab platter, the lamb chops (beats anything I have tried so far) and the smoked karahi chicken! Desserts are yum too! Rasmalai is really good! Just don't miss this place if you visit Chicago and it's worth the long wait time! Tip- place order while you wait to be seated!
