Israeli Slider Chain Opening SF, Bay Area Locations - Eater SF

"Burgerim, an Israeli burger chain with more than 160 worldwide locations has expansion plans in store for the Bay Area, with new locations in the works for Concord, El Cerrito, San Francisco (on Mission Street), San Jose, San Pablo, Santa Clara, and San Mateo — plus Fremont, Pleasant Hill, and Pleasanton locations which will have Halal certified meat. Burgerim, which launched in Tel Aviv in 2011, serves 2.8-ounce mini burgers individually, in pairs, trios, or by the “party box” full. They come in Wagyu beef, turkey, lamb, salmon, veggie, and falafel with a variety of toppings." - Caleb Pershan

Their chicken items are halal. Portion sizes are large. Service ok. Recommend the crispy chicken burger and wings. Enough for two hungry people. Their regular fries are also really good. Not a fan of the spicy garlic sauce - too salty.

Wow, idk.. Kinda disappointed with their burger. All the photos and advertisements definitely looks way better than the taste. I love to try new places and a huge burger fanatic here. I thought their burger was below average. Came around 4 on a weekday and it wasn't packed. The restaurants is modern with a nice bar right in the center of the restaurant. I must add that their deals for happy hour seems decent. Ordered The Angus Beef Burger and with this place being new and having good reviews, I expected my burger to be juicy and cheesy. That wasn't the case. The burger was dry and their bun tasted a bit stale. The only thing I really liked was their fries. Service was good and it looks like a great spot for game day with their appetizers/happy hour but their burger didn't hit the spot.

I wasn't impressed, the best part of the meal were the fries, salted appropriately a more interesting shape than your usual fries. The burger itself the meat was flavorless, loaded onto a big bun. To substitute American cheese for any other cheese was an extra 0.99 which I thought was unnecessary especially as a substitute, I could have had both cheeses for the same price... They charged extra for the sweet potato fries more than the happy hour special as we changed one order to sweet potato fries from regular fries.

Great staff and great food. The burger and fries are a solid way to go and the chocolate milkshake is really good. I also like the chicken tenders with the traditional buffalo sauce. The alcohol options are good and diverse, too. Easy to do call in orders or sit outside in the patio area at this moment (7/1/2020). This place is worth checking out and faster than the in n out line next door. The happy hour menu starts at 1p and is a good deal, too. Tough to pass up on a good burger and shake with a good/friendly staff that boxes up larger to-go orders nicely.

A good place that has food and booze (happy hour during the week days) with outdoor seating. Also like I can charge my Boosted Board. They are friendly to personal electric vehicles (PEVs)

Not very unique or different in their offerings from other burger joints that have recently opened and there have been a slew of them lately. But I guess different options in ways of ordering counts as a difference. After catching a movie in the AMC beside it, we were not too hungry and wanted a small bite of something that would NOT make us feel stuffed. So we were happy to try their "Duo" option in which you get 2 slider sized 3 oz portions of protein and you could choose your toppings and type of buns individually. So we got ourselves a Grilled chicken breast slider and a beef patty slider with addl sautéed mushrooms , while both had all the regular toppings, lettuce, tomatoes etc. Along with that we shred a fountain drink and a side of fries. Now fries here are thin slices of potatoes that are deep fried without any dipping batter. Since slicing was uneven, some of them remain under cooked - beware!! Other than that, we kindly liked the place and spent around $15 for the light meal between the two of us. A real solid deal when not hungry. IF you go for their regular burgers with 1/3 pound patties I believe it turns out to a slightly costlier than a meal at Five Guys! But definitely trying their regular burger the next time!

Went here with the lunch gang. None of us like the food. Even sent one back but refire was so over salted I didn't eat it. Onion rings were ok at best. Fries we're a disappointment. Burger house sauce has zero flavor, ask for it on the side and see. Only positive was friendly staff and patio dining. Was really hoping for this place to be good but we were all very disappointed. We won't he back.

The Buffalo chicken sandwich was cooked just right. Terrific onion rings, crispy just the way I like.
