"This laid-back strip mall joint in Burien isn’t near any body of water, but it feels like a beachside diner—there are crab nets, an aquarium by the register, and wafts of freshly fried seafood coming out of the kitchen. Of that deep-fried stuff, get the Captain’s Platter, a combo of flaky salmon, cod, and halibut with choice of beer batter or panko-breading. While the fish & chip dishes stand out the most, the restaurant’s crab rolls don’t disappoint. There’s a substantial portion of meat mixed with celery, diced red pepper, and housemade tartar sauce that adds depth (though you’ll probably need to sploosh in a lot of lemon to add brightness). Of that deep fried stuff, the fish and chips dish stands out the most, with a wonderfully flaky casing that leaves a satisfying crunch. Get the halibut over the cod for the best flavor. And don't neglect the restaurant’s crab rolls, either —they come with a substantial portion of meat mixed with celery, diced red pepper, and housemade tartar sauce that adds depth. We like the beer battered version, though there's a panko option, too.
