First time here and sure won’t be my last. I was craving noodles and a huge noddles person. I decided to stop by and tried the chicken noodle dish. It was delish and fulfilling. It was not too oily and I ask for it to be spicy. I wish it was more spicy. I wish the shop more success and health. Definitely give this spot a chance and they serve sushi too. Bubble tea also.

My favorite Burmese restaurant ever!!! The owners are also the sweetest because they gave me free desserts for two times. One for the Burmese's new year and one for my birthday 🎂. They provided the best service and the prices are really reasonable. You should try Burmese Vermicelli Noodle(They have dried and soup version) but I recommend the dried one :) Also try varieties vege fritters (You should eat when it is hot), it will be delicious 😋 , crispy at the same times and really goes with its our traditional tamarind sauce. If you used to eat Char Kwey Teow, you should try our traditional Meik Noodle :)

The food is awesome! Literally threw me back to the good time I had in Burma. The tea leaf salad is amazing, and it’s literally a flavor bomb because you have the tangy, umami, crunchy, spicy—all in one! I also love the mohinga, it’s so comforting and rich. And the Burmese chicken biryani is top notch, especially pairing it with the sweet and sour cucumber salad. Just soooo great! It’s a family owned restaurant and the food they serve is really authentic. The owner is super nice, and the service was great! They’re celebrating Burmese New Year, so we got some free desserts, which are great!

I recommend you try Kyay Oh and mohinga , Briyani and braised pork ! Super ! Banana cake ( pink one in the picture ) and coconut noodle is superb. I ordered via phone and they deliver for free if you order $50 and above around 1 mile radius. ( or slightly further if you can negotiate:) ) I ordered chicken Briyani and moving today and I can share with my bf as you can see. Big portion! Really worth it .

Probably one of the best places to eat in the city, small, authentic, not expensive, and absolutely delicious. Vegan options indicated! And there are quite a few!

Amazing! We can't wait to come back! My partner told me there was a Burmese restaurant he wanted to try. I think the restaurant does more take out than dine in (due to its size) and it looks more of a take out place from the outside, but the ambiance was perfect. Everyone was very friendly and welcoming. We got a little excited and ordered two apps and two mains - which is probably too much, but we somehow finished it all. The pickled tea leaf salad is great! Also the green papaya salad was one of the best I have had in a long time. We also did the Harp signature rainbow noodle salad which was delicious. And per many people's recommendations we also ordered a Mohinga, which I will be coming back for! Very happy to have this place open up in Bay Ridge!

It feels like being back in Burma based on how authentic the food is (especially in the US!). We got the “Yummy Tempura Roll” which is a tempura roll with filling inside. Delicious! We also got the Shan Noodles which I’ve always loved and the Kyay Oh with the soup. No complaints at all about the food and service. The side dishes that complement the entrees were perfect as well. Best part is that the place also takes card!! Glad to have Burmese Harp in Brooklyn and looking forward to going again.

Yelp
I was sad when the Thai place that was in this spot closed but not as much after trying the Burmese food here. We came here a few minutes after they should've been open but the door was locked so we hung around the area and came back 15 minutes later. Place is small and cozy, only has a handful of tables that seat 2-4 people. My friend and I ordered the Kyae Ohh Garlic Noodle (dry) which came with a side of soup and the Chicken Tapioca Soup that I requested to have noodles put in. The garlic noodle is a little bland by itself but the table has a lot of sauces that you can use to spruce it up. My friend use the side soup to dip the noodles which made it very good. I ordered the Chicken Tapioca Soup which I think normally doesn't come with noodles but I wanted a heartier lunch and they were very nice about me wanting to add noodles. The soup is the thick consistency and flavorfulness I've been searching high and low for in a noodle dish I had in Vietnam called Banh Canh Cua and I finally found it here (with chicken instead of seafood). Overall they did not skimp on the portion size because it seemed like never ending bowls for both of us. I will definitely be back.

Yelp
Jack of all trades, master of none Got a Thai papaya salad, Japanese salmon teriyaki and Chinese sesame chicken. All are classic dishes but they failed on each one. Very odd how they prepared them and not traditional n bad way. Perhaps their Burmese food is better but I won't be finding out.

Yelp
This place took over a long-standing neighborhood hole in the wall Thai spot, so I decided to check it out since there aren't many Burmese places around. I wasn't sure what to expect since Burmese food is pretty rare, but the coconut noodle broth was very, very subtle in flavor. If you prefer bold, flavorful soups, this dish probably isn't for you. It also seemed like some ingredients were missing--both from the listed description and the photo, like the egg and chickpea crisp. What I got was just noodles, a few chunks of what seemed to be curry chicken, some cilantro, and a pint of broth with bits of onion. I'll come back to try the tea leaf salad since that's what they're known for, but the noodle dish was pretty disappointing, especially since it was listed as one of their most popular items.

Yelp
What a pleasant addition to the neighborhood. Small and cozy seating area. Lots of take out orders being placed in person and on the phone. The staff was warm and helpful in assisting with choosing dishes. The tea leaf salad had lots of depth and texture, I really enjoyed it. It had layers of peanuts, mung beans, dried shrimps and crispy garlic chips. The tomato's and citrus really perfected it. The garlic noodle stir fry was delicious, called Kyae Ohh Garlic Noodle on the menu. It had lots of protein, chicken dumplings, fish cakes, and quail eggs on a bed of delicately prepared noodles (similar to angel hair). Do not miss out ! They also have a Japanese menu including sushi but you can get that any where in the area. Burmese not so much, happy exploring.

Yelp
A much needed & very welcome addition to the neighborhood! Overjoyed would be an understatement for my fiance, who has been craving mohinga. Given there's only a handful of burmese restaurants throughout NYC, having one right in Brooklyn is a blessing! Burmese Harp seems to have opened fairly recently, but we saw a good number of diners within their small and intimate restaurant. One things for sure - they're authentic. For table service, only Burmese dishes are available, but takeout offers some Japanese items. I'd only note - please be patient, as it's a small mom & pops shop, and they make the food to order. My fiance & I ordered their Mohinga ($11.99) and received our order in about 15 minutes. The fish soup is soo deeply savory, and it's not fishy at all. For spice lovers, highly recommend adding a scoop of their dried chili flakes. Toppings were generous with the fried chickpeas & egg, and overall portions were good. We finished off with the Banana Suji, which tastes a little bit like a banana sponge cake. Can't wait to be back to try other dishes, and would highly recommend for anyone looking for an authentic Burmese experience. Cash & card are both accepted. Inside seating fits about 12 people total.

Yelp
It's hard to find Burmese food in New York so I was excited to hear that this new Burmese restaurant opened in Bay Ridge. This is a cozy spot (only 4 tables for dine in) serving up home style cooking with friendly hospitality. They have a Burmese menu and a Japanese sushi menu. I opted for Burmese of course. Since I was unfamiliar with most of the menu items, I asked the owner to help me choose a dish. He recommended the kyae ohh garlic noodles. The noodles themselves (which is a rice vermicelli) are flavorful and garlicky and there's a very generous amount of it in the bowl. It's served with minced chicken sausage (flavorful but benefitted from some hot sauce), fish balls (a little too spongy for my taste), and a side of broth (incredibly good, probably my favorite). This place is definitely a hidden gem worth checking out if you're looking for something different.

Yelp
So glad this has opened in Bay Ridge! Burmese food is terrific, and they do a great job at Burmese Harp. Excellent noodle dishes and salads, including a superb version of Burma's famous tea leaf salad. The two noodle dishes we got (Rainbow Noodle Salad and Nan Pyar Noodle Salad) had very different kinds of noodles but in both cases the noodles were springy and well seasoned; both were delicious. Phone ordering was easy and delivery was quick. Will be ordering again soon.

Yelp
Ordered a lot on the menu so I can try all the different type of burmese food as there's not a lot of burmese restaurant here in Brooklyn. Service is great and clean. It's a small shop where there's a few tables. I love their fried tofu and burmese tea and their garlic noodles. Will definitely try again as the food really did hit the spot.

Yelp
Found out about this little burmese restaurant through a friend and I have to say, the food here tastes almost as good as my mom's cooking. Tea leaf salad (Lah Phet Thoke) and Mohinga was delicious. Highly recommend paying this place a visit if you can.

Yelp
The food was great and the service was very friendly and efficient. Since Burmese food is a rare find, even in NY, it was absolutely worth it to come here. We had the fried tofu, mohinga, shan noodles, kyae ohh garlic noodle, and banana suji. All the food came out great, everyone in my group enjoyed the everything we ordered and we all wish we lived closer.

Yelp
Amazing outstanding food is cooked to order so it's always fresh very friendly clean establishment. The food is a 10 out of 10. They use very high-quality ingredient and whenever I'm having it delivered is always piping hot. This is the best thing that ever happened in Bay Ridge.

Yelp
Brooklyn is more conservative than queens and one way is that there are fewer unusual ethic food options available. Burmese harp plays by the rules and offers sushi and sesame chicken. Skip them and head for the Burmese menu. I had a warming bowl of fish soup (tho it could use more fish) with a ton of noodles , eggs and crunchy bits for texture. More of this please.

Yelp
Small cozy hidden gem located in convenient place or Burmese people and other Burmese food lover. Their menu is simple but authentic taste. Excellent service. They match the sauce with your order which is rare to find in here( E.g Tamarind sauce for Fried Tofu; red chili sauce and pickles chili for Kyay Oo, onion mint chutney for Biriyani). Hope they can get more local customers( other than Burmese) so that they can stay in this area for long term.

Yelp
First time trying them and the food is delicious! I had the chicken meatball noodle soup with fish balls and it was absolutely delicious. Light and refreshing in a chicken broth with a light hint of garlic, I think. Perfect for a fall afternoon, which rice noodles and springy fish calls. The other dish I tried is the rainbow noodle stir fry salad. It wasn't as striking for me as the soup but it was quite yummy, with a gentle savory taste and a light crunch from the small dried shrimp. I think there are some tofu pieces mixed in too, which add a little texture. Overall, very excited to try more dishes if I can!

Yelp
So good has all my favorite foods in one shop. Respectful service and quick serving times.
