Best Korean Food in Dallas/Fort Worth DFW | Eater Dallas

"Its connoisseurs who enjoy Korean barbecue here, with a la carte premium meat cuts grilled over burning charcoals. Diners can order specific meats individually, but the best value is the barbecue combination sets of a variety of meats, including porkor beef, or a mix of pork and beef. The seasoned meat skewers, a non-traditional addition to Korean barbecue, are also worth an order." - Courtney E. Smith

The meat was decent. Was missing kimichi with the side dish since they ran out. The only decent one was the seafood tofu soup.

We went there 2 years back. That time, the experience was awful. No AC, smoke all over the place, we were sweating, and the service was not good at all. The food was good, though. But we went again after 2 years, and they had remodeled the restaurant with a ventilation system. Now no smoke. And our server Rach was so sweet and attentive. This time, our experience was 10 out of 10. I am so happy with their upgrade.

So cozy and so yummy! The meat was super fresh, sides were on point, love the bulgogi, and our server was amazing. Can’t wait to come back with friends!

One of the few Charcoal-grilled Korean BBQ places in DFW. Choose from their any of their Pork or Beef Combos - full on smokey flavor 🥩 marinated Short Rib is probably the go-to for me at any KBbq. Open at dinner starting at 6p - until late 2AM on weekends + drink specials ✨

This place is such a hidden game! I love how they season all the meat. And all their side dishes taste awesome, too! My server was extremely nice and helpful. She helped us grill the food and was quick and very attentive. I love the idea that they offer food combos for couple and group of 3-4 people. Very nice idea! It helps save me a lot of time thinking and choosing what to eat! Also, the combo also comes with lots of choices and side dishes. I could not ask for more! We spend around $40 per person plus tax and tip, for a table of 3 people in total. Will be back here again to try their skewers, they look good but I was too full to try them :-( Keep you your good work, Burnin92!!!

I don’t usually leave reviews, but our experience here was disappointing enough that I felt it needed to be shared. I went with my friends. One of the servers seemed quite disengaged, didn’t smile, and lacked the basic courtesy you’d expect in a service setting, which made us feel unwelcome. She didn’t even know the menu, which made the experience frustrating. We had to ask another server to help us, and thankfully she was much more polite and professional. The food was actually quite good we tried the beef BBQ combo and really enjoyed it. It’s just unfortunate that the poor service took away from what could have been a great dining experience. I hope management addresses this and trains their staff better in customer service and menu familiarity.

Google
Update 5/2025- service was much better. The meats were marinated deliciously. Side dishes and kimchi pancake were average. Meat over charcoal fire is the best!

Google
Meat quality was great with very tender and flavorful cuts. They use real charcoal which provides intense heat for a good char and a hint of smokiness. Our server, receipt cashier “Rach”, was great. She was very attentive and nice with the kiddo. Overall it was a good meal but expected better portions for the price.

Yelp
My son was in the mood for Korean food so we did a search on Yelp to get some what of an idea of where to go look and ended up here. It must have been serendipity because this was not one of the places that was suggested. But after walking in and being greeted by a pleasant hostess who also educated us on the menu we decided to stay and check it out. The ambience is nice with spacious booths. And they have package deals if you opt to have the whole BBQ experience and from what we witnessed it seems reasonable. We decided to order individual entrees for ourselves and enjoyed them. Pictures attached. The service was attentive and pleasant and the food was good! The area looks a bit rundown but don't let that deter you. There is plenty of parking. The inside is nice and clean. And the staff very nice and helpful. All in all a good experience!

Yelp
Visiting Dallas for a business trip and decided to go here instead of Paik's spot (no chicken there). Overall, it was aight. I've been to countless kbbq, high end, super authentic and generic. This falls in the generic category. Simply because the meat was just meh. We ordered the small $99 set, chicken skewers, lamb skewers and chicken heart. Skewers were underwhelming, dry and lacked salt. The meat, like I said, weren't memorable. I did love their kimchi pancake!!!!!! It was fluffy and soft and had crispy edges. Ambiance was nice and divey, and service was great. They cooked the meat for us and kept up with our table frequently.

Yelp
One of my favorite Kbbq places in the area and one of the only few places in Dallas that use real charcoal grills! I've been coming here pretty consistently over the last 5 years and seen it evolve and expand over the years. It's easy to call ahead and make reservations. They used to be BYOB but I believe that is no longer the case. Although it's not AYCE, I think it's still worth it for the better meat quality, and prices are very reasonable. We usually order one of the beef combos and switch out one of the items for pork jowl (one of my favorite cuts, especially when it's crispy). The combos come with lots of side dishes, salad, rice, lettuce, soup, steamed egg, and corn cheese, making it a very complete meal. The servers offer to help you grill if you'd like. I think that the charcoal gives the meat so much more flavor, and I also love throwing some garlic on the grill. I always leave this place satisfied!
google avatar

Vanan D.

Yelp
It's on the pricier side but the food is worth it! Definitely come here for the meat especially the beef cuts. Haven't tried the skewers yet. Service was wonderful, they also offer to cook for you as well.
google avatar

Stacy W.

Yelp
Love the charcoal grill! Meat quality was good, tender. Usually the a la carte spots have people to help cook the meats but this spot doesn't seem like their staff members do it? We asked if they cook it or us And they responded that we do

Yelp
Delicious! Husband took me here as we had been wanting to try Korean BBQ and this is one of the few places in the metro that does charcoal grilling! We came on an early Monday evening, not crowded at all, we were seated immediately and given our menus. Though we had done a bit of research beforehand, our waitress Anna helped us navigate the options and made great suggestions for us! ALL the food was delicious, we enjoyed every bite. Cool date night place!

Yelp
What a great restaurant we stumbled in! The servers were very nice and gave us the option of cooking or to let them cook. We got the Large Pork and Beef combo. Our favorites were the prime short rib and the pork belly. The other pork option had some bones/cartilage in it which made it a little difficult to chew. We also ordered the skewers, which honestly were not my favorite. They were covered in seasoning, which was flavorful but completely overpowered the taste of the meat. The sides were great too, and they were kind enough to refill our greens whenever we finished them. I wished the corn cheese was a bigger serving, but the meal itself was very filling and left us satisfied.
google avatar

Yelp
Very casual charcoal kbbq place. Sweet manager who took care of us service wise. Restroom could be cleaner, and did not have paper towels. Food was overall eh. Corn cheese was underwhelming and meat quality was not the best
google avatar

Crystal F.

Yelp
Nice Korean BBQ spot. My husband and I enjoyed the marinated short rib for Valentine's Day. The rib was seasoned good with a beautiful complement of condiments and dipping sauces. My favorite dipping sauce was the soybean sauce. The service was good. The manager/owner was great, she guided us on how to order and what to pair the short rib. I recommend this cute spot for a nice date night.

Yelp
I wonder how long this place will last. After changing their meat, quantity and prices a few years ago this place is really empty now. There used to be long lines and jam packed. The Korean staffs are no where to be seen so it doesn't even feel authentic anymore. A lot of what we ordered came AFTER all the meat was grilled... oh and the kimchi is realllllyyy old here.We only come here once in a long while now if we really want charcoal kbbq. The prices, quantity and quality doesn't entice us to come to this sketchy part of town like it used to.

Yelp
Camera did not eat first in my picture so please excuse the half eaten meat plate! Burnin 92 is an open wood fire grill concept KBBQ place! Each combo you order comes with a salad, lettuce wrap, lots of yummy banchans, an order of corn cheese, egg soufflé, and soybean soup. Service is super quick and they open until 12AM every night! Definitely a place to check out and get your KBBQ late night craving out of the way!

Yelp
I love Korean bbq and wanted to try out a new place. The food was good like any typical Korean bbq place. Service was very slow. Our appetizers came out after we finished our bbq. Overall, the food was delicious and service was lacking.

Yelp
Humble Korean BBQ in Dallas' Koreatown, also serving charcoal skewers. Ambience - 3/5 A bit of a factory-floor feel with the metal tables and fume hoods, but not too offputting Service - 5/5 Excellent staff assistance, including grill changes and tableside chatter. Lamb Skewers - 5/5 Small, heavily seasoned chunks of lamb, perfectly kissed by charcoal. A nice snack. Beef Salad (Yukhue) - 4/5 A pretty good representation of a Korean raw beef dish similar to Tartare. The Korean pear pairs perfectly with the egg-laced beef. If you're not put off by raw beef, it's worth a try if you haven't experienced this before. Combo D1 Kalbi - 5/5 Excellent beef flavor. Succulent and tender. Beef Belly - 5/5 Thin and beefy but not overwhelmingly fatty. Beef Tongue - 3/5 Thinly sliced, but needs cutting up into smaller pieces at the grill as it is quite chewy. Scallion Salad - 5/5 A positively huge helping of a scallion salad as good as any we've had in Korea. Goes great in lettuce-wraps with the meat. Soft Tofu Stew - 5/5 Personally, I liked their soft tofu stew better than what I've had in Korea or Koreatown in LA. Don't sleep on this.

Yelp
KBBQ always gets a 5/5 for me. I loved the kimchi fried rice and the bulgogi is always amazing. We were able to choose from so many sides and the service was super fast. Here they use coal so that was a different experience and still great!

Yelp
Great food and good vibes. Service was fine I have nothing to complain or endorse here This had to be my favorite kbbq food ever. The rice cakes were incredible and the meal was absolutely delicious. Ordered a beef and pork combo - highly recommend. Would go back next time I'm in Dallas for sure

Yelp
Has great variety! The beef skewers is a must, with tender and juicy meat. If you crave spice, get the mala beef skewers. If you hate eating cows, there are lamb skewers to replace it. The corn cheese lives up to its name, with its cheesy, yogurt flavor mixed with the sweetness of the corn. The steamed egg looks overwhelming, but you won't look back after eating it. The soy bean paste brisket soup is good, although the soup to object ratio is a little off. Plays music at perfect volume. Do not think this place has bad servers. Extrovert? There are a lot of chatty servers ready to strike at the opportunity of conversation. Introvert? There's plenty of quiet staff, too. To end it off, this place is great. You do not want to miss this restaurant in Dallas. It has flaws, but who cares when you can have the great food instead?

Yelp
This is a fabulous place for intimate, personal, and groups to gather and feast while interacting with the process from beginning to end at the dinner table. The service is quick with friendly staff who ensure the food is fresh and you are enjoying the process. The noise level is moderate and spacious for privacy. We love going for date night casual or dressed up. Chow.

Yelp
Authentic Korean barbecue with charcoal flavor. Worth the drive! Great service, great prices, great meats, great vibes! Absolute favorite Korean barbecue!

Yelp
came here on a saturday night and it was surprisingly very empty. the restaurant has an old school vibe to it with dark lighting, nice place to have some drinks with friends. the quality of meat here is 10x better than any of the ayce places. the 3 of us got the beef combo set for 4 and it was perfect for us (big appetites lol). my only gripe is that the combos are set and there's not a lot of room to mix and match the types of meat you want. the hanger steak and brisket were fantastic! it does come with complimentary banchan, salad, steamed egg, soybean soup, corn cheese, and cheese dip. the extra stuff was a hit or miss. - kimchi was way too fermented and was really mushy.m - the salad is really good but they charge you if you want a refill - corn cheese was super dry for some reason, and the cheese just clumped up - egg was just okay, very dense compared to other places - cheese dip was just canned cheese. - soybean soup was really good! - the rice we got was old and had a brown tint to it, but when we asked the server they were nice to bring us new rice - their sauces are tasty too, we especially liked the soy sauce with onion and jalapeños maybe we just caught them on a bad day, but it would have been 5/5 stars if the side dishes were better.

Yelp
Waitress forgot part of our order, waited almost 45 minutes for an appetizer because the kitchen was backed up...was almost done with cooking meat when it finally got to the table. Manager did comp the appetizer, and the waitress did eventually bring our drinks.

Yelp
One of the only Korean bbq spots with charcoal grill. They do a great job ventilating the place - it's not smoky or smelly inside. We ordered the D1 combo for 4- it was all very good but we ordered extra meat. The portion sizes could be a little bigger but the price is fair if you compare to other places. The non marinated short rib and skirt steak were my favorite. They also do a fabulous job refilling all the sides- I wish they had a button on the table for service. The egg/ gaeran jjim is very fluffy and delicious!
google avatar

James N.

Yelp
The service was super sweet and cooking over charcoal is a nice change as it adds good flavor despite the downside of not being able to control the temperature. However the food was just not it. Already weary if a Korean bbq restaurant serves their salad with basic Italian salad dressing. Basically everything they served felt like it was just purchased at the supermarket. Ordered combo C2 for $59.99 which was supposed to serve 2. Meat quality was subpar. Came with striploin (a thin basic New York steak), brisket (12 pieces of thinly sliced meat that was unfortunately 90% fat), and marinated short rib (actually quite good but only one piece of galbi, was by far the best quality and tasting meat). I could've eaten everything myself, so saying it could feed two is a stretch, maybe two smaller women. While tempted by the seemingly reasonable price tag, the quantity of food was not worth the price. Also the side dishes just were not good and tasted storebought. I'm a big kimchi fan and this kimchi tasted like it was straight out of a mass produced jar from Walmart. It was nice they provided garlic in a ramekin with sesame oil. While the service was lovely and the price seemed reasonable, it was a pretty disappointing meal. This was a let down since the reviews seemed good. Also had to circle the parking lot a few times to find parking but luckily the restaurant was mostly empty besides a few very loud tables nearby so we didn't have to wait on a Saturday night. If the servers weren't all so nice and trying so hard, it probably would've been closer to a two star meal.

Yelp
I think the first time I had Burning 92, I liked it a lot more. This time around I was not as blown away. Everything is pretty much standard with not a lot of flair. Interior is chilling and definitely take you elsewhere. Service is great. Food is standard.

Yelp
I visited this restaurant which was highly rated on yelp and seemingly one of the top 3 korean bbq places in Dallas proper. From the outside, this building and restaurant doesn't look very fancy and upon walking in, you still don't see anything fancy here. Looks like a bunch of tables tightly knit together with exhaust fans in a dark area, maybe like you would see in another country. Regardless, they obviously aren't trying to score points with their decor. We ordered the D2 (with regular short rib and chuck flap tail) since I had 3 people in the group and added a seafood pancake and corn cheese. The total was only about $135, so not too bad. Everyone loved the food, including the meats, sides and apps. The total amount of food was actually perfect as we ate everything, without needing to order more, or take any to-go. I have to say that a couple of the meats tasted very similar, even though they were different. The meats were all cooked pretty well by the attendant (they did not ask how we wanted it cooked), who doesn't stay at your table the entire time, just the times while placing the meat on the grill, turning it, or moving it to the side so it doesn't continue cooking. Service was excellent as there were plenty of wait staff, bus staff, or managers to stop by and provide you with whatever you needed, with exception of the beginning of the service when they delivered the cheese corn with no utensils to handle it. Otherwise, definitely a great option for Korean bbq.

Yelp
Looking for the best KBBQ spot in Dallas? This is it!! I had trouble debating between Burnin92 and Ari, since they are equally amazing. However, Burnin92 completely changed my view on KBBQ because they use natural CHARCOAL for their grill. This is not your typical AYCE, so don't expect to pay a set price and eat as much that you can. I was skeptical at the beginning, but it's worth the splurge for a good meal. I said splurge, but it's not that much more expensive compared to Gen or Manna (typically $28). My boyfriend and I usually get their combo 4, which comes with 4 different cuts of beef, totaling $50. We also get pretty full by the 3rd round, so it's not bad at all! Asides from the high quality meats, it also come with lettuce, rice and your typical Korean side dishes. I like to stuff myself with kimchi & radish, and I also wrap my meat in a lettuce wrap. IT IS LIFE CHANGING. Grilling the meats with charcoal really give it more flavor, and you smell like delicious KBBQ afterwards too (instead of the nasty sweat smell). The wait can be long or short depending on your timing. I've been 7+ times and I think the average wait time was 30 mins. There was a time they got popular from a Facebook group post and it took 1.5 hour to get a table. Customer service is slow sometimes, even though they have a bell on the table where you can press. Overall, I'd highly recommend this place!

Yelp
I think this was hands down the best customer service from a Korean restaurant in the DFW! Super attentive and even cooked for us! Will definitely be back to try other items. Think we ordered B2 which was the combo for 2 people and it was more than enough for 2 females! I love the garlic!!! Pop it in your mouth after each bite of meat!
google avatar

Tammy D.

Yelp
I went here on a weekday right when they opened so no wait. Parking is easy and plentiful. This kbbq place uses charcoal and not your typical electric/ gas grill! Their side dishes were nothing too spectacular, it's was standard and I only stuck to the kimchi and pickled cucumbers as the others weren't my favorite. The beef platter we ordered was just enough for 2 people given that we also ordered the spicy rice cakes/ tteokbokki. Meat on its own was pretty good. Tteokbokki was my favorite at any restaurant so far. The spice hits fast and its a lot spicer than expected which I like. The texture of the rice cake was perfectly chewy. Overall I wouldn't rave about this place however it's still delicious if you're looking for some kbbq in this area. It's not ACYE by the way, they offer a la carte or platter combos. I might come back to try their other dishes though!
google avatar

Selena S.

Yelp
The food was phenomenal! I was in absolute heaven. All the side dishes made it feel like it was authentic and made out of love. Our server Rach was the most sweetest and attentive server I've ever met. She strived to make sure your dining experience is a successful meal. The place was clean and beautiful. Everyone who worked there walked by with a genuine smile and made sure we were very well taken care of. When I'm back in Dallas I'll be sure to come back again. They gave large portions for an affordable price and I'm forever grateful to have found such a beautiful restaurant!

Marvin T.

Yelp
My favorite KBBQ restaurant in all of DFW. Food is great. a la carte menu with good pricing, this is the only a la carte spot that I go to. Love that there are combos just in case you want a taste of everything without spending too much. Charcoal grill is an extra plus! ALSO THE LETTUCE. Surprisingly very rare for places to have leaves of lettuce to make wraps. Love the rustic look to the decor
google avatar

Keli M.

Yelp
Amazing KBBQ hidden gem! Great service and prices are really reasonable especially for a group. We tried a little of everything food wise: kimchi pancake, and the Wagyu combo. The cuts of meat were very fresh. The ambiance is kind of a pop up feel, but you don't really notice because the food is so good. I have heard that the wait can be long so make a reservation to be on the safe side.

youngsun l.

Yelp
I had Christmas dinner here with my family. The owner was friendly, the staff were friendly, the food was delicious, and the charcoal barbecue was especially good.
google avatar

Andy P.

Yelp
One of the few places that doesn't use gas grills. The meats aren't as good as koryo or Joa... sometimes it's frozen but not bad all in all.
google avatar

Tim T.

Yelp
One of the best KBBQ spots I've been to, period (and I've lived in Los Angeles, Virginia, and Texas, where there exists high concentrations of KBBQ places). You can also see the charcoal burning (they also use 100% natural charcoal), which adds a unique dimension to the flavor profile of the cooked meat that is tastier than standard KBBQ places. The meat is also very high-quality, and their side-dishes are superb. Definitely recommended if you are on this K-Town-esque area/district in Dallas!
google avatar

Monalisa Z.

Yelp
Exhaust fans didn't work .., place was full of smoke. Our hair, clothes, jackets smelled of smoke when we came home. Meat quality was good, but none of the meat was marinated. I prefer eating sweet tasting galbi. None of the sauces offered were sweet. Only salty sauces were available. Fishcake was tender but quite salty. Cheese corn was excellent. In some places they use canned corn but I could tell that here, they use fresh corn. Beef skewer was just ok. The place used very heavy seasoning for the skewer. I'm just very used to eating Fat Ni beef skewer with lighter seasoning, I prefer Fat Ni's. This may come down to preference. I just think this place is leaning toward salty taste.

Yelp
Love love love this place, quality of the food is the best! My favorite is the soft tofu soup, I get it extra spicy and it just hits the spot EVERYTIME!

Yelp
I came here on a with 2 other friends. We came right when they opened for dinner so we didn't have to wait long. Food -- Honestly great pricing for the amount and quality of meat we got. I prefer this place over Ari in a heart beat because of the amount of food we got and the much more affordable price we paid. Everything tasted great and we were super full. Seafood pancake (5/5): This might be the best seafood pancake I've had. It was so crispy and flavorful. Not too thin, not too thick where it just falls apart when you pick it up. Pork combo (5/5): Combo comes with pork ribs, pork belly, pork shoulder, and bulgogi. All the pork options were so good, tender and juicy! The bulgogi was sliced different from what I expected, but I like the way they cut it compared to other kbbq places. A great combo to order and share. Burnin'92 lamb skewers (4/5): Skewers come to the table already grilled. They were solid. Service -- Great service, they brought out everything pretty quickly and promptly. Had no issues with refilling our barchan. Summary -- You have to visit Burnin' 92! The charcoal grill is a game changer. It's my current favorite kbbq place in Dallas! i can't wait to come back.

Yelp
Great Staff, went on a Thursday at open and was the 1st to arrive, after we were done eating, there were 5 other groups total. Def worth going to get some real wood action that stayed VERY hot even after we were done eating. Combo 4 was Galbi, Rib Eye steak, brisket and bulgogi. All fantastic! for $51, it can serve 2-3 people depending on how much other stuff you order. Theres a difference with Charcoal for sure at Burning 92. I ordered the MALA lamb and beef ~ $2 a skewer and the lamb takes the cake and its a real treat! Highly recommend getting the mala version which is spicier and it has a numbing effect and a flavor bomb. Pair with the Citrus Soju and you are set! Its a different experience then traditional AYCE bbq, so no rush cramming everything into the grill since it stays hot the whole time, for sure get the lamb skewers, few beers and soju and its a great special treat. I might sub the beef skewers for a different side like cheese corn next time.
google avatar

Megan N.

Yelp
One of the best kbbq places I have ever had, hands down. The quality here is 5/5 stars! Due to this, they're normally pretty busy and you have to wait to be seated. Especially if you go for dinner time on a weekend, it'll be packed. You put your name and number on the list and they'll call you. We waited from 30 minutes-1hour. They have different combos or a la carte, but it is not AYCE. Which is fine, because the combos are more than filling. The meat quality is amazing. Everything tasted delicious. We had to try the raw beef salad, that was the best. Loves the sides and flavor of everything. Definitely recommend this place! Will definitely be returning!

One of my fav places to get kbbq in Dallas. Love the quality meats and grilling with the charcoal, it really makes it better! It reminds me of a place I went to in Korea. The meat is not overly marinated and you can definitely taste the quality here. I like the side dishes also. We've tried the skewers but wouldn't get it again. It is not AYCE so it's more pricier but you do get more premium quality meat here and having the charcoal grill is a different experience. The service is also friendly as well!

Yelp
Long wait for dinner, since there aren't that many tables, but it's worth it. The meat is great quality and the banchan are excellent, too. And being able to grill over charcoal instead of just a hot plate just gives it so much more flavor.

Yelp
This place was incredibly overpriced. The other reviews were spot on about the side dishes being really plain. The meat was decent, but I think an all you can eat kbbq is worth the price compared to this place.

Yelp
Great KBBQ! Flew into Dallas and needed a good meal, I found Burnin92 and saw they had charcoal bbq! The menu was super easy and combo 4 plus an order of brisket and ribeye were enough for us, we also got two soju, terra, corn cheese and a kimchi pancake and the bill was so fair - about $185. The combos don't come with soup though which would've made it better. The ambiance is quiet and sectioned so your party has a booth. Be cautious though since the table has a built in BBQ so there's not much table space. Rice you have to ask for but there's a convenient "push for service" button at your table in case you need anything. Overall great experience and will come again! Meat quality was surprisingly fantastic! Pics included :)

Yelp
Just came back from this place. I went here because of all the positive reviews. Nothing Korean BBQ about this place. Place smells like a mold just walking inside. I've order a combination dinner meal. Side dishes are not authentic Korean. You get kimchi from Costcos. Soybean soup tasted 'strange'. Meats were just average. Ordered side order of chicken skewers. It tasted dry and tasteless. I really wanted to like this place. What a big disappointment.

Yelp
Pretty good KBBQ spot, differentiated by real charcoal grills, which makes a big difference in cooking the meat! They do get SO HOT though, so you really have to monitor the meat carefully - the char gets really beautiful when cooked perfectly. We ordered combo #2, substituting pork jowl for the brisket. The jowl was a bit chewy and crunchy after the grill, which I liked. The LA galbi and bulgogi meats were fine, but I couldn't taste the marinade very well, so they benefited from a little dip in the sauces they provided. Banchan game is fairly light here - about 7 or so, including kimchi, pasta noodles, fish cakes. They also provide fresh peeled garlic + jalapenos which are nice to grill as well, and a few large pieces of lettuce for wraps. I liked the call button they provide at the tables so that it's easy to get anything else you may want. We requested rice, which was delivered swiftly to us. Granted, we were the only ones in the restaurant at 6pm on a Tuesday, but we appreciated it all the same. I'd say the combo had the perfect amount of meat for two lighter-appetite ladies, but not sure if it would be sufficient for two hungry men. At the end of the meal, we were SO sweaty from the heat of the flames, but satisfied! I'd love to come back and try some of the lamb skewers!

Yelp
My partner and I came here late one night in search of food after pride last June. We weren't expecting too much since my partner is korean and spent multiple summers overseas in South Korea and I'm from a part of Southern California where real Korean food is in abundance. After so many asian fusion places that americanized their menu to suit the American palate, we learned to not expect too much from asian restaurants in Texas. However... ... this place was AMAZING. Real charcoal and the small round tables that reminded my partner of his summers in Korea. There was only about five or so banchan but all of them were so good we asked for refills throughout our dinner. My partner is very particular about his kimchi especially growing up with big jars full of homemade kimchi that his family in Korea sent with him on his plane ride back home and he absolutely LOVED the kimchi served here. Not sure if it's house made or not but either way he asked for about three refills during our time here. They even gave us lettuce, ssamjang, and sliced garlic/jalapeño for ssam, which is a nice touch that definitely helped swayed my partners homesickness. The lettuce was so fresh and crispy and was so good with the grilled meat. The ssaamjang had the perfect ratio of doenjang and gochujang that goes so perfectly with the pork belly. We ordered the combo with brisket, pork belly, and pork shoulder and subbed out the pork shoulder for galbi for a $5 charge. SO WORTH IT! The brisket had a good ratio of fat to meat and was sliced perfectly thin so the meat was melt in your mouth perfect when grilled. The pork belly didn't taste like it was at the bottom of a freezer like some kbbq places in Texas. The galbi was definitely the favorite, it wasn't overly sweet like some places and it reminded my partner of his moms galbi! The ahjussi checking the line made sure to let us know that he's clearing the tables as fast as possible and will seat as soon as he can. He was so sweet and it was clear that he really cares about his customers experience. I'm not sure if he's the owner or the manager of the place but either way his love for this place shows and is very much appreciated. It was also nice for my boyfriend to be able to converse in Korean with him since we live in an area where there isn't many Koreans. And the servers who set up our table with the banchan, drinks, plates, and whatnot are all so very sweet and attentive! This quickly became our go to place when we visit DFW. We dream of this place when we're back home in New Braunfels. We also make sure to visit here whenever we're in the area. We're already planning another trip in April for my birthday, and this place is at the top of the list (right after we visit Kings Spa of course).

Yelp
I came here on a weeknight with some friends. We were quickly seated as we already had a reservation. We ordered BBQ special #4, the corn cheese, the kimchi pancake, and a bottle of soju. Our food came quickly and was absolutely delicious! The meats were high quality and reasonably priced. Burnin92 uses natural charcoal for their grill and it was my first time ever trying it. It is life changing! My only complaint would be that the table was too small for all of our food and plates. I'll most definitely be returning to Burnin92
