Highlights

Burnt Bridge Cellars is named after a creek that runs through the heart of the town we call home. Located in downtown Vancouver, the winery began as an idea in a garage more than five years ago. Today, the garage is a little bigger, but the detailed, hands-on approach remains. Every wine from Burnt Bridge Cellars is made from hand-picked grapes. Every barrel is crafted from hand-selected oak. Every bottle is hand-filled, hand-corked and hand-labeled. Yes, we know there are easier and faster ways to make wine. But when you love wine as much as we do, we feel it deserves the extra attention. We hope you agree. Burnt Bridge Cellar wines pair perfectly with food and friends. Enjoy! Artisan wines made from the best grapes in Washington.

"Mark Mahan and Greg Wallace have been serving wine made onsite at this urban winery since 2010. Burnt Bridge sources grapes from Washington state growers in the Walla Walla Valley, Columbia Valley, and Yakima Valley, from a plummy 2018 mourvedre to a 2019 semillón with pineapple and passionfruit notes. Offerings include wine by bottle, glass, or flight, as well as charcuterie plates and hummus; it’s all served in an airy indoor space or out back on the covered and heated patio." - Rachel Pinsky

I’ve driven by this spot so many times but never found a chance to stop by - finally changed that this past Friday! This is such a cute tasting room - cozy and welcoming. Service was phenomenal. The wine options were wonderful as well!

Google
Great atmosphere with really friendly and helpful staff. They have a great selection of wine by the bottle and the wine flight had a good variety! Their food is also really delicious! Especially the salmon spread! Edited: adding that they have live music on saturdays! Well at least they did on 09/18. Keep it up!

I'm loving my membership at Burnt Bridge Cellars! The entire staff is super nice and attentive, making every visit enjoyable. Whether it's Hailey, the manager, or any other member of the team, they always greet me warmly and ensure I feel welcomed. Their knowledge about wines is impressive, and they're always ready with great recommendations. Whether attending an event or simply relaxing with a glass of wine, I truly appreciate the care and attention they provide. If you appreciate excellent wine and friendly, attentive service in a low-key, unpretentious atmosphere - don't think twice and join the club!

First experience here and high recommend. They have great reds with rich and dynamic flavor profiles. Went during First Friday for a delicious dinner, live music, and to see gorgeous art!

Haley and Bailey were great. It was our first time in I got to choose my own reds for a flight of wine. Which costs $15. My husband who does not drink wine gotta beer on tap was very happy and I left with a bottle of wine. I will be back.!!!!!

We had a great time last Saturday at BBC. The staff and owner were amazing. They were very attentive, knowledgeable about their wines, and extremely hospitable. The 2 folks pouring couldn't be any nicer, and there was no rush. The owner gave us his perspective about his vision, and took his time explaining each of his products. The proof is in the wine though. We liked everything we tasted! That's rare. We were happy to join their club. Check them out.

Yelp
I love Burnt Bridge Cellars! Great wine, tasty appetizers, ambiance and events! I also like their growler fill availability, origami classes and wine clubs. It is at a very convenient location with lots of parking or walking areas in downtown Vancouver. Wonderful owners, wine makers and staff! Great place!

Yelp
Lovely tasting room and patio available so we could bring our dog. Mostly big reds, but we liked the GSM blend and Marsanne / Rousanne wines the best. There are food options and the girl who served us was awesome!

Yelp
Nice for first Fridays in the Couve! Lobster Mac and Cheese this month. Service and staff are great.

Yelp
I do miss the days in Sonoma and Napa California where you could go wine tasting for free, sigh! We had the wine flight, 5 wines , $15 a person. Each was about three sips, enough to get the full flavor. They were all very good. If you buy a bottle, they will not charge you for the tasting. The staff was friendly enough and the decor was a but sparse yet peaceful. I would go back again. Good place to bring out of town visitors

Yelp
We enjoyed the tasting but I have never been a fan of pouring all the wines at once except for a vertical tasting or for comparing the same varietal. I miss the input and comments from the host. With regards to food, the charcuterie plate was a decent value but not impressive and could be more upscale. Our tasting coordinator was pleasant and professional and provided good service. The location is conveniently located in downtown Vancouver and has an industrial feel versus a venue out in the vineyard or on a river. Recommended.

Yelp
Burnt Bridge Cellars has some of the best red wine offerings I've tasted. I am a particular fan of the Blend X and the 2016 Syrah. Great to have such a quality winery so close! What's great is that Burnt Bridge Cellars is not only next door to Class Cooking but the same couple co-owns them. They are able to utilize both spaces, at least for private events.

Yelp
A cute little local winery in Vancouver. The server was very friendly and offered suggestions of other locations in the area. The wine was really, really good too. You can tell that locals come here often. The servers would recognize the people coming in and knew what they like. A really cool community spot for wine.

Kelly M.

Yelp
The service was awesome! The caramel salted chocolates were an extra sweet treat with the flight we ordered.

Leslie M.

Yelp
I visited this lovely tasting room and was amazed by the friendly staff, owners and wonderful variety of wines especially reds. If they're your favorite this is the place for you!! I highly recommend this place. The atmosphere is fantastic so many amenities like cooking school and outdoor seating with live music. Just a wonderful overall experience !!

Dani R.

Yelp
Really fun and affordable wine tasting! Cute place with fun art inside too. Nice people. Bought a bottle that we liked to bring home for later.

Yelp
Great winery and great service. We had trouble deciding because EVERYTHING was good. The servers were really nice and accommodating. Loved it!

Yelp
A friend of mine invited me to meet her here on a Thursday night since they have discounted glasses of wine. Thirsty Thursday, don't mind if I do! I've passed by this place a million times - lord knows why I haven't actually stopped in, but now I'm glad I have! Their Grenache is SO GOOD and the gals working there are sweet to boot. But places seriously win me over when their DOG FRIENDLY - and this place is! *SWOON* Anyone who knows me knows my dog is my baby - she comes with me everywhere she's allowed - and it's always great to add a new place to the mix!

Yelp
Burnt Bridge is a very appropriate name They certainly have burnt our bridge!! I almost never write a negative review, but condescending attitude is unacceptable My wife was walking and didn't have her license with her (however lovely she is 63 years.) she was "scolded" for not carrying it in Washington state. Having lived near Napa for many years , where hospitality is prevalent everywhere she was astounded Average wine. Below average attitude Good thing Washington has many other fine wineries Rare for me to write this type of review. Needed to be done. I'm sure they write this off as "sour grapes". But it's true

Yelp
Wow Mark, thanks so much for opening that reserve Cabernet, it was amazing! You and Greg made us feel so welcome! We had such a great time and you helped us forget about hurricane Irma for a while! Your wines are amazing and your hospitality is even better! Cheers, Joanne and Steve Daytona Beach

Yelp
I visited on one of those over 100 degree weather day, already I was glad when I was stepping into the place because of the nice cool and strong AC :) $10 for a flight of 5 wine tastings and if you choose to pick up a bottle, the tasting is free. The prices of the wine were also very reasonable. $20~$40ea. I'm no wine expert but it wasn't hard to find a bottle that I like. PS. Also very intrigue with the large kitchen connected to it that offers cooking lessons. May need to return to try that soon!

Shannon W.

Yelp
If you like complex bold reds, it's a must try. I stumbled upon and signed up for their wine club by the time I left. It all tasted amazing

Niah N.

Yelp
Just a lovely place and great music in the back. Great wine. Hey Mark! I still use the glass I bought here but wish I had more of their wine to put in it.

Yelp
I loved this place!! I stopped in while visiting from out of town and found this cozy spot to be perfect for a wine tasting. The wine is really good and the staff are excellent. The atmosphere of the place is unbeatable. I met people who were very friendly. There were lots of locals who stop by for wine. What a great vibe! Very welcoming and fun.

Yelp
I live down the street and have been wanting to check out this winery since I moved in about 2 months ago. I was very pleasantly surprised! The finger foods were a good price for what you got and the wine was big and bold - I was really impressed! I ordered two glasses of the Reserve Cab Sauv and I strongly recommend others to try it! The folks at the bar were pleasant and helpful, and remembered my name, which made me feel like a valued customer. On a Friday evening it was filled with lots of folks just getting off of work and meeting their friends for a drink, but was not over crowded. Everyone there was friendly and cheerful. I definitely recommend going for a drink and enjoying some wine and a snack!

Michael S.

Yelp
Really good wines. Nice people. Worth a visit, plus a friendly puppy!

Yelp
My friend, husband and I happened to walk in during one of their wine club pickup parties and couldn't have been more ecstatic with the timing. Great service, fun crowd, normal sized pours but extra wines to try to make comparisons (the 2013 vs. 2014). We were told we would try six wines but I think we were poured 8-10 tastings during our flight. We didn't get quoted a price for the flight but we dove in. Appetizers had been served by the cooking class that is conjoined to the winery. Seriously unreal food - the curry chicken salad?? What kind of wizardry was this?! This is the only winery in downtown Vancouver and they were honestly just so great all around. We lucked out on timing but I would absolutely be back for a normal tasting just to experience it again. And side note, if I were local, I would immediately sign up for one of those cooking classes next door. Side note, it ended up being slightly less than $10 per person for those flights. So much bang for your buck!!

Yelp
I visited Burnt Bridge for the first time yesterday and was pleasantly surprised. The atmosphere is relaxed and comfortable, the staff was friendly and attentive without being pushy, and the wine was fantastic. We went in for a tasting and ended up buying a bottle! To top off an already great experience, they are dog friendly too!

Michelle G.

Yelp
We were very disappointed with the First Friday event on June 1. Which was sad, because we were really looking forward to it. The first problem was they ran out of food at 6pm, the event was until 9pm, and they seemed completely overwhelmed and were rude. There was no hospitality shown, no friendliness, just rudeness. The only area that had some seats was in the kitchen, and one of the staff members rudely told the people next to us; 'don't get any closer, I have hot pans". That would have been fine, but the way it was said was like we were invading her home, which was not the case. To add fire to the flame, the wine is expensive, but we were excited to meet up with friends and enjoy a nice dinner. That did not happen. We will not be back.

Yelp
What a wonderful treat. Mark and Kim have opened a great tasting room in downtown Vancouver. There wines are fun and so are they. You need to check Burnt Bridge Cellars out.

Yelp
Burnt Bridge Cellars provided a wonderful Christmas event for our company - wine tasting and a dinner to die for! The ambiance in the tasting room is wonderful and on a cold, rainy night, it was welcoming and warm. The wines are excellent and Kim cooked a buffet dinner that was incredible. All the dishes were unique and flavorful. I can't wait to come back and take a cooking class from Kim. Thank you Mark & Kim for a great night and for your hospitality. I love to see new businesses opening and thriving in downtown Vancouver and I would highly recommend Burnt Bridge Cellars for their wine, cooking classes, or a private party!

Trish N.

Yelp
Such nice people and really wonderful wines, it's worth a trip to Vancouver to taste their wines, last year they sold out after Christmas so I recommend going before they do.
