Burnt City Brewing closes in Lincoln Park to prep for West Town move - Eater Chicago
"Burnt City Brewing founder Steve Soble has spent 24 years in Lincoln Park, but Sunday will be his brewery’s last day open. Burnt City started as a gastropub with a bowling alley called Lucky Strike back in 1996. Soble and team began brewing beer in 2012 as Atlas Brewing until switching names again in 2016 to Burnt City due to a trademark claim. Now, one of Chicago’s first brewpubs is packing up to move to West Town. The new space should open this spring." - Ashok Selvam

"One of Chicago’s first brewpubs, Burnt City Brewing (nee Atlas Brewing Company) will close its Lincoln Park brewpub next year and move operations inside a West Town warehouse. This is a consolidation move aimed to merge the Lincoln Avenue brewpub with Burnt City’s South Side production facility, reported the Tribune. March 3 will be Burnt City’s last day at 2747 N. Lincoln Avenue." - Ashok Selvam
"Bring your own stein to Burnt City Brewing (bar and 8-lane bowling alley) and they’ll fill it up with Oktoberfest Märzen for just $6 a glass." - Marguerite Imbert
Awesome place! Bowling is $40 per hour, there were 4 of us and we were able to finish 2 games in that hour. That includes getting up and getting drink. You can skip people that aren't ready because the scores are kept on paper. Their beer is awesome, service was awesome, and the bartenders were very attentive and polite. This is probably my favorite brewery in Chicago.

To start this is not a brewery in the traditional sense. It's multiple breweries with taps available to pour yourself. Because it's self pouring we paid $24 for two pints (I'm a bartender so I know how to pour beer). We ended up with lots of foam that had to be dumped because the lines were over pressurized. Also there are NO bowling alleys. We actually paid $20 for an Uber here to go bowling at a brewery. This is false advertising and we were not happy with the experience at all. The description of this place needs to be changed. The only reason I gave 2 stars and not zero is because the beer wasn't terrible.

Great beer, great music, great atmosphere with the bowling in the background and while they had league on a Thursday, I'll be back to check out this place on other nights when it's open bowling.

Ate at the pub next to the bowling alley. A little more my speed (more chill). Nice Cubano sandwhich. They are doing some good beers here. Good variety. Solid quad and imperial stout. Also some sours. Friendly and attentive staff. Check it out.

THE BIG: Part of the 4 breweries located inside the District Brew Yards brewpub. Parking is available on the street.
THE BLACK AND WHITE: This was the last stop in my brewery tour and I had a chance to sample all of their beers here without getting a 3oz pour (1oz all the way!) They had a lot of interesting concoctions here.
My favorite brew here was the Juice Pillow Hazy IPA. Reminded me of a NEIPA but a little lighter with a ton of pineapple. Second favorite would the Party Hard Ginger Ale. It wasn't necessarily a beer but a hard ginger ale. Perfect for those who want to party and settle a upset stomach.
THE FINAL BAMBOO: Overall a great hangout spot inside the District Brewyards. Each of the 4pks ranged from $10 - $20. I'd definitely come back with a few friends and hang out.
