One of the best tiramisus I’ve tried in CDMX, along with solid pasta, attentive service, and a thoughtfully designed, welcoming space. We were greeted promptly and seated, where we were informed about a Monday promotion offering a glass of wine and a pasta for $380, with an option to add tiramisu for an additional $100. However, it took a noticeable amount of time to actually place our orders, despite being surrounded by servers, which was a bit odd.
My friend opted for the promotion with the malloreddus pasta, while I chose the trofie pasta a la carte. The dishes arrived quickly and the presentation was 10/10. The flavor of my dish exceeded expectations and the sweetness of the tomatoes was a delightful surprise (8.5/10). The tiramisu, offered as part of the promotion, was the true standout of the meal—easily one of the best I’ve had (9.5/10).
The service, while attentive and friendly, was a bit too much at times, with water being refilled almost too frequently—but it was appreciated nonetheless. The pricing, aside from the promotion, is reasonable: my pasta was $220, which felt fair for the quality. One annoyance, however, was the $30 charge for bread, which was offered at the start of the meal without clarification that it would be an extra cost, nor was it listed on the menu.
The menu itself is quite small, with limited pasta and entrée options. It seemed that alcoholic beverages outnumbered the food items, which could be disappointing for some (like me). That said, the pasta options we tried were solid, even if the selection could be expanded.
The ambiance was a highlight, with a delightful and stylish two-level space that felt both inviting and polished. Despite the minor hiccups, the experience was enjoyable, and the tiramisu alone is worth a visit.
