Lively bar/restaurant in the downtown area. Great choice of beers but maybe limited quantities - they were out of my choice when I ordered a second but they offered a similar choice. Calamari starter was not good, overcooked and greasy Mushroom soup was very tasty and the meat and cheese platter was plenty for one, the prosciutto was excellent. The burgers were good but the fries were terrible, dried out and cold - not good from a restaurant touting it's Belgium style. Service was slow and not very attentive, and we had to ask for items more than once. Maybe be better in a different night

Google
Cafe Benelux is a great restaurant to visit when exploring Milwaukee. The food was exceptional and there were many options. I recommend the garlic bread appetizer. The service was okay. The restaurant was very busy and I think this led to servers being pulled in different directions. The atmosphere was awesome. There were multiple levels to the building. The roof was very cool as it overlooked the city. The lower levels have interesting art and decor that adds to the ambiance. In all, I would highly recommend visiting this restaurant if you are in the Third Ward area!

This was not an easy place to review though it is definately a well known place of the area. Now the food we had was okayish, though it took them some serious time to deliver it. The real surprise came from the beers. I came here especialy to try their beers since they proclaimed themselfes able to match a beer to any kind of food in their menu and they literaly have a beer book. First beer I asked was not available. Second one I asked for they "just finished it". Both were on tap. Thir beer was on can, called Stone IPA. For my surprise the beer was definately been staying for some time in their fridge, the foam did not lied. More over, the beers they have, the european niché monk style precious stuff, it's just to pretentious things for one to be able to enjoy and it is definately not a good idea to spend 7 or 8 or 10usd to find that out on your own pocket, especialy when waiters are completely oblivious to recommend you or to teach one about their 'tens of different beers. If you go here just avoid the pretentious stuff and hope they have it.

We went here because my hubby loves Belgium beer. Wow so they have an impressive selection. Their food is also impressive. The restaurant is very pretty. They have a big bar and lots of tables. I love how they have electric plug ins at each table and by the bar seats. I got a peach Bellini it was okay. The creamy mushroom and onion soup was amazing. We also got their meatloaf and jalapeno grilled cheese. It all was great. The carrot cake was also good. They have a lot of outdoor seating. We will definitely be back.

Starting off with the atmosphere, you feel like dining in Flemish area of Belgium or beautiful flower gardens of the Netherlands or castles of Luxembourg. The food was heavenly. We tried Florentine Benedict and Dutch pancakes. So filling and delicious. Try the 2nd floor balcony area and you won't be disappointed.

On Sunday, two girlfriends, a toddler, and I had a nice girls’ brunch at Café Benelux! The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, and our waitress was friendly, attentive, and quick with service—which we especially appreciated. I ordered the Mushroom Hash that came with crispy cheddar hash browns and spiced avocado, and the flavors were incredible! I cleared my plate. Would definitely come back for brunch again!

Google
This place is amazing! Great service, and the server provided excellent recommendations on the menu and drinks. They have a great selection of draft beers and food. I tried a couple of different draft beers(High speed wit & High Pilsner), and they all tasted really good. I’d love to come back and try more beers. Our family ordered a variety of dishes, and everyone enjoyed their food. The Pedal Pusher Burger, in particular, was perfect.

Google
First time eating here.(Still here actually) Food was so good! Service is severely lacking though. I interacted with my server maybe 3 times. He never checked on me after taking my order. A food runner dropped our food at the table. I needed a fork to eat but he never came back to check. He walked past my table 3 times and didn’t even look our way so I couldn’t get his attention.. he didn’t come back until I had finished my Kebobs and was no longer interested after be treated so poorly: maybe he was having a bad idk but I won’t be back.

Yelp
We had breakfast and it was incredible but this review is just about the drinks. We actually had breakfast, walked around and returned to try their cocktails because we saw the menu during breakfast and just had to come back!! I love Negroni cocktails so when I saw it on their cocktail menu and noticed it featured an orange citrus gin I was excited to try it out! I was in love with this slight variation in the classic recipe. It was just a tad bit sweeter than if made with a traditional gin, and I liked it! A lot!!! I appreciated that it was made with care and served with one large ice cube, making it cool but not too cold which might mask the great flavors! My boyfriend had the Wandering Traveler, another gin cocktail. This one was very refreshing, bringing out the flavor of crisp gin and bright bubbly lemon raspberry. I say, stop in if just for a drink! And if you stay longer! Try the delicious food as well. Their menu also features the perfect drink pairing for your meal!!! Attention to detail which is hard to find these days!

Yelp
fun spot near our hotel where we could all gather for a cocktail and then a lovely spot up on the roof top for lunch. sophie was our bartender, and she was amazing with drink knowledge and suggestions. i left my flight in her hands, and she knocked the selections out of the park. there were nine in our party, and we got burgers, tuna salad, grilled cheese sandwiches. everything was very good.

Yelp
My husband and son ate here while in Milwaukee this week. It was excellent. We sat on the rooftop which had a nice entertaining vibe. It was a perfect night to sit outside. We started with Bistro Cheese & Prosciutto Plate. It was great! Even the grapes had a little seasoning on them. My husband ordered the Everything Salmon salad which looked yummy. He said it was very good. My son ordered the Sprocket burger which he said was very tasty. He wasn't sure about an egg on a burger but he said it worked. He also ordered a Benelux side salad, which he thoroughly enjoyed. I ordered the Single Speed burger which was a little bland and a little too pink for me. I would have given this restaurant a 5 but with my burger and the service being a little slow, I had to give a 4.

Yelp
We did not have a reservation and came during lunch. It was busy, so we weren't able to sit outside or on the roof which we were hoping to do. However, they did make room for the 10 of us inside. Our server Jess was amazing. Very efficient and gave great recommendations. Many of us had salads and said they were good. I had the havarti bacon chicken sandwich and it was excellent. The sweet potato fries were excellent.

Yelp
You can't beat the rooftop area. On the last nice, sunny afternoon in WI before winter, what a perfect place to enjoy the day. The server was new and super sweet (she probably refilled my water 10 times), as were the hostesses! I have had the mussels before & they were great, but the pull apart cheese bread was soft and amazing. This place is a MKE staple for a reason.

Yelp
Been here a couple of times before, but this was the first time for breakfast. Benelux is part of the Lowland Group that owns several other restaurants including, Cafe Hollander, Cafe Centraal, Buckabaton. They are all unique, but feel similar in many ways. Benelux is in the heart of the Third Ward, kitty corner from the Milwaukee Market. It's a big place, that doesnt necessary feel that way. They have seating on the sidewalks, inside, and on the roof balcony. Lots of spots with different points of interest. Got here on a Saturday morning, 10am and they were already filling up. Wanted something a bit more quiet so took a spot on the rooftop. Not much shade in some spots, so bring sunscreen. We had a nice view of the streets below. Got served with menu and waters. Our server did a great job the entire time (thanks Haley). Ordered a Chai Latte (extra foam) and the Hibiscus Yogurt Fruit Bowl. The chai was very good, made right and served in a china cup. The yogurt came out a little later, and that was fresh, flavorful, and good portion. The other folks were equally pleased to. It was a very good experience (as it usually is). A dependable choice for a meal downtown.

Valerie K.

Yelp
Sat in the rooftop terrace. It is enclosed in glass with heaters. Great view of the hip, happening Third Ward. Everyone was so friendly and too much to choose from on the menu. Everything sounded yummy. Couldn't resist one of their Bloody Mary's. I chose the Milwaukeen with the horseradish infused vodka. It was quite tasty and came with a "biermosa" chaser. Not their actual "biermosa", however which is beer and orange juice. My husband's lamb burger could have used a little more fat. My crab BLT was great all on its own.

Yelp
Visited Café Benelux for Sunday Brunch around 1:30! This place seems to always be busy with its fun rooftop, cool interior, and front patio seating. I would highly recommend making a reservation if you want to sit on the rooftop as there was a much longer wait for up there. We did have to wait about 10-15 minutes for a table but noticed many open tables upon arrival. Once sat, we ordered a round of drinks and our food to still meet the 2pm brunch menu cut off. My friend got the Pineapple Passion Mule which was perfect for a sunny, patio day! I ordered the BELT & A Sandwich which the kitchen forgot to add the bacon! Our server was very surprised and immediately went to fetch me a side to add. There wasn't much given but it was cooked how I requested it. My friend got the Turkey Pesto which was a huge portion and tasted good. Since it was a busy day, we weren't forced to leave but kindly made gestures to turn over the table as we sat. Either way, the food was good and I'd love to come back to see the rooftop!

Yelp
Went to Cafe Benelux for breakfast today and sat on the rooftop which has an absolutely beautiful view of the Third Ward. The service was quick and our waitress was absolutely amazing and made sure we had everything we needed. The food was overall well prepared, but the Nashville hot chicken seemed to just have to too many conflicting flavors for my taste. Definitely a fun place to go for brunch!

Yelp
My wedding weekend was here & my Groomsmen & my dad wanted a great brunch near the hotel in 3rd Ward. Knew Cafe Benelux was on my top 3 choice. The guys all loved it. I got the Sausage Quiche & it was phenomenal for a lighter fare bc I had a light breakfast 2hrs before. My one friend got a chicken sandwich & he loved it so much he came the next morning. My groomsmen loved the Bloody Mary's. I then came back with my then wife the next morning for lunch after the wedding. Loved it again. I got the Hodge Podge & boy was it filling & delicious. While I don't get Hangovers, this meal would have been ideal for any of my guests who did have one. My wife got the Salmon Smoked Sammy & it was great & light. This place will have a special spot in my heart. Last meal before marriage & first restaurant meal after marriage. Both 5*

Yelp
I wanna start this review off on a positive note and say that the food here was absolutely delicious. The chicken Cobb salad was the best salad I've ever had. I can't actually even remember what the rest of my food tasted like because the salad was so good. The drinks were OK at best. The decor in the restaurant was cute, but the vibes were off. That was probably because the service was so terrible. I walked in and saw him. Nice restaurant looked and expected so much more. We had a reservation, but our table was not ready when we got there. Almost every order at our table was wrong. When we wanted to get our food corrected, all of the servers had a bad attitude except for our main waitress. I was blown away by how terrible their customer service. Two people in our party waited over an hour and 20 mins to get their food and when they received it was wrong. The restaurant had to be promoted to give it to them for free. Unacceptable. The person we were celebrating had food allergies and called ahead to be sure she could eat something other than salad with her allergies, they named options over the phone. When at the restaurant, they told her the only thing safe was salad. The only reason I gave two stars was the sweet waitress that was trying to make up for everyone else's attitudes and the amazing salad.

Yelp
I have nothing but amazing things to say about this restaurant. We came here for Saturday brunch. I was scared there would be long wait times but we got seated really quickly, outside and had a table in the shade. We ordered the Nashville chicken and waffle along with French toast and literally both were so delicious. We live in chicago and I would drive up just to eat here. Anyways would recommend, super chill spot to grab some delicious food!

Yelp
Man I love this place and miss coming. Been about two years since I was here last and it delivered just like the first time. Great ambiance sitting on the street with the outside summer vibe, solid beer, and of course great food. Mussels were top notch and green beans were swimming in butter...yum! Coworker loved the meatloaf. It was covered in bacon and gravy if that is your style. Burrata was an odd but good one. Usually the cheese is the star but here this spicy tomato jam thing took it to another level. Absolutely outstanding! Hopefully it won't be another two years until I'm back in the city!
google avatar

Maxwell G.

Yelp
What a lovely spot! Stopped here before attending summerfest - a beautiful location in the Third Ward! Seated immediately, friendly service throughout the visit. Tried the cheese curds for an appetizer with the Sumac Salmon as an entree - I can honestly say this is the best salmon dish I've had! Paired with a delicious Sauvignon Blanc. Cooked to perfection with tasty sides, seasoned well. Looking for an excuse to return!
google avatar

Yelp
This is our go to restaurant when we are in Milwaukee. The food is fantastic and the bloody Mary's are even better. The staff is great and they have a wide selection of beers from around the world and most are on tap! My go to meal these days is the burger paired with the Holland IPA. If we do end up there for brunch, I go with the belt & a which is bacon, lettuce, tomato, egg and avocado. As far as seating they have two levels. You can sit in the main dining area, the bar, out on the first floor patio or the second floor roof patio.
google avatar

Andrea M.

Yelp
Friendly service, nice big rooftop terrace, impressive Belgian beer list, and an absolutely fantastic burger. I appreciated that the kids meals came with both fruit and veggie sticks. The one thing I wouldn't order again was the tuna tartare tostadas. The tuna wasn't super fresh, and covered in mayo.
google avatar

Gina F.

Yelp
Cute spot and love that they have a patio. Food is good - nothing out of this world but solid! They have an amazing selection of beer - great place to stop into if you're looking for rare beer finds and an extensive drink list in general. Our waitress was so nice and fun! As the weather starts to get nicer, I definitely recommend stopping in here to enjoy!
google avatar

Yelp
Great spot!! I had the chicken and waffles with a latte, the food was to die for. Good service and very good vibes! Will be back again! Cheers!
google avatar

Nathan N.

Yelp
Food was decent. Nothing to write home about. But the wait was very difficult to stomach. Brunch on a Sunday is most certainly their busiest time, so be prepared to wait over an hour for food. Not from the area, but I can't really recommend it to anyone, local or not.
google avatar

Danielle P.

Yelp
We went to Cafe Benelux for a late lunch/early dinner ahead of the Nutcracker showing this past Sunday and had such a great experience! For starters, we had a reservation snafu that was wonderfully rectified...I had called a couple weeks ahead to make a reservation for 10 at 4PM, but called back immediately after to adjust to 3:30. I thought all was well, but when we showed up for our reservation we learned the staff member that helped had only canceled and did not reschedule. The hostess, Mel, took quick action and went above and beyond to accommodate our large group on the rooftop space that was supposed to be closed. So, we got to have a private dining experience in a beautifully decorated space that wasn't as loud and our family could mingle & talk - it was perfect! Thank you, Mel :). Our server, I cannot remember his first name but his last name was Lens, was quirky & funny and we really enjoyed him. We got a couple of frites cones for the table which never disappoint, the holiday sangria was DELICIOUS and I shared the cuban sandwich and chicken bacon sandwich with my sister. Both were so tasty & the benelux salad on the side is my fav. Benelux does such a nice job decorating for the holidays and they really pulled through amidst a mixup to give us a great dining experience. Thanks!
google avatar

Chuck E.

Yelp
Great ambience, friendly staff and a great beer selection. However their food quality is lacking. My wife had the tartine for breakfast and I had an omelet. The omelet was just barely ok. My wife sent back the tartine - pic attached- my wife said everything about it was awful starting with the stale radishes.
google avatar

Scott S.

Yelp
It's a TGIFridays pretending it's casual fine dining. Nothing bad, just nothing special either.
google avatar

Nancy B.

Yelp
I can't believe I hadn't left a review for Cafe Benelux before! But this is a great opportunity as I was delighted to see more vegetarian options (some can be made vegan by skipping the cheese) and the brunch menu looks very appetizing. I went with a more usual order for me and that is the walnut smashburger. I ordered it without cheese but there is a Violife plant based cheese option for fifty cents extra. It's a hearty portion (the last couple of times it has had two patties) so make sure you are hungry! Their heated walkway is fabulous for outside dining in winter.
google avatar

Apex S.

Yelp
We went here for a weekday dinner with a large group and ordered buffet style from their menu. We got their seafood platter with crab dip, tuna tartare, shrimp remoulade, smoked salmon, some crunchy veggies and crackers. It was very good. The dips had different flavors and seemed freshly made. As an entree, we had the sumac salmon with the chickpea pilaf. It was well cooked and a hearty meal! My drink of choice was a pineapple passion mule and it was great. It had a kick of ginger and the sweet-sour combination of pineapple and passion fruit, great flavor profile. Service was good, a little spotty at times. The ambiance is quite nice, a cross between a sports bar and a nice dinner place. Worth a one time visit if you're in the area. They also have nice outdoor seating with heat for chilly days!
google avatar

Ella W.

Yelp
Such a cute spot in the perfect third ward location! We were able to get a table for brunch and I HIGHLY recommend the bloody Mary's! It was my first bloody Mary ever and I actually was happily surprised!:) The service was great! Definitely a Milwaukee staple.
google avatar

Abra P.

Yelp
Our waiter was great, but the hosts were terrible. We had a long day and were overheated. We asked if there was a roof top table in the shade. They told us that the sun would be down soon (it was Not). They walked us past 5 tables in the shade with fans, then sat us in the sun: If there had been nothing in the shade, fine we would have sat inside. Disregarding us was rude. We overheated and only ordered an appetizer before having to leave. We did tip our waiter well, he was great. This is one of the few negative reviews I have ever given, I even waited a full day to see if I was overreacting last night. I don't think I was. We had a long conversation about the type of table we wanted. And we would've been happy to sit inside if we could've not had shade. The second star is for the waiter...
google avatar

Bree W.

Yelp
I personally won't be returning, the food was okay, the salted Carmel cheesecake was actually very good. My issue was I ordered, and pointed to the N/A Bev of the peach bilini, as I am of legal age to drink and not pregnant. but I am 2 years sober and to see that server gave me the alcoholic version was very disappointing. (And calling to confirm in fact that's what I had on my bill) Definitely should be more mindful and knowledgeable of the correct menu items.

Yelp
We were in town for a college tour and decided to stay the night in Milwaukee. Someone at the school recommended this restaurant, and it ended up being the highlight of our trip. Our server, Alexis, absolutely made our evening! She took such good care of us, checked on us regularly, kept us smiling, and chatted with us about various items on the menu. I'm so glad she suggested I try the eggplant (it was called Balkan Eggplant Schnitzel), because I loved this dish. My daughter really liked her fish, and the carrot cake was unlike anything we'd had before - it was dense and moist with fluffy frosting and a decadent caramel sauce. We took half of it home to have our coffee in the morning. Alexis also told us to check out the market across the street after dinner and it was great. Thanks for a wonderful experience, Cafe Benelux!

Yelp
I am mad the food was good, because the service was not. We were there on a Saturday morning, so we definitely expected it to be busy and we weren't in a rush. However, we were one of the first tables to be seated in our area and the last to get our food. We were there for three hours. When our server did come over, she would say, "your food will be out shortly" and then we still waited another hour. It was just a rough experience - even to reorder drinks. However, the food itself was great. I really enjoyed my dutch pancake with apples and pears. And we loved their cocktail options - our one friend who loves Bloody Marys loved trying different varieties. Although, we did have one friend with us allergic to sesame; she ordered a plate and sesame was not mentioned in the ingredient list - but she got her plate, only for it to be covered in sesame. Common allergens should definitely be listed on the ingredient lists or descriptions! Thankfully, they remade her plate immediately - but after already waiting almost two hours for food, it was a bit rough.

Yelp
Love the domes to eat in. Food was good, experience was great. I highly recommend eating in the Lux Domes, I only advise is to show up on time because they're very strict on the timing of the Lux Dome reservation.

Yelp
Cafe Benelux is a classic Third Ward restaurant to visit if you haven't been already. I'm partial to Lowlands group restaurants (including Cafe Benelux, Cafe Hollander, Buckatabon, Centraal) and Benelux is no exception. I was surprised to have been able to walk in on a Sunday during brunch without a reservation, and get a spot on the rooftop with no wait time! I ordered the mushroom hash, which has cheese-stuffed hashbrowns (yum), mushrooms, broccoli, braised spinach, cherry tomatoes, red onion, avocado, a mojo verde sauce and a sunny side up egg on top. Can't go to Benelux without ordering a bloody. I tried the Malone and it didn't disappoint with jalapeno, habanero and sriracha-infused vodka!
google avatar

Matt B.

Yelp
We had a team dinner here and had a limited menu. Ordered the steak kabob and it was absolutely delish. Quality of the food was so good that I came back for breakfast. The mushroom hash was excellent. Great location in the Third Ward, rooftop seating. A must if you're on the area

Yelp
I have been seeing Cafe Benelux on TikTok and all over social media as it has been popular place in MKE to be. I was very excited and was in town so me and friend went. Host: Very accommodating, nice pleasant smile and sat us right away. Ambiance: Very beautiful European setting with a rooftop that's a hit. Love love love the blg set up. Food: Was good! Drinks: Was very good as well. Service: Unfortunately, it was okay. We had to ask for waters and we didn't felt the service from our 20% tip. We over see other servers who were very accommodating and hospitable to their tables. I also slip by the server station before the restroom and inform a server and just said "okay". Did not see anyone wipe it up and was still there till we left. Hope no one slip after me :( Over all could've been great! Would still recommend this place though!

Yelp
Amazing experience, incredible place, great service and delicious food/beer. We brought our dog and everyone was super friendly and accommodating. Came for a weekend brunch and started with a couple Belgian beers. Beer menu is incredible; it's my favorite style of beer and they had some options I'd never even heard of. Opted for a couple local options and both were delicious - a quad and a tripel from some Wisconsin breweries and they were delicious. Also sampled a pair of limited distribution imported beers and they were really good as well. I got the short rib hash while my wife and friend got Pannekoeken, basically danish crepes with ham and cheese and they were super flavorful, nice and light too. Everything was really flavorful and the short rib hash was ample enough for two meals with plenty of each ingredient. Next time I'm in Wisconsin, will definitely return

Yelp
Lovely rooftop patio. We stopped for soup and salad. Enjoyed the offerings. Edible and satisfying....

Yelp
First off this was new restaurant of the week and it's an amazing place and done very well with the street patio, inside space/bar and upstairs patio area. At first opening service s#cked on a Sunday morning because my server was MIA . I I ordered the Bloody Mary spicy and the hodgepodge breakfast plate. The Bloody Mary was weak and not spicy. The hodgepodge plate was actually tasty but very oily with bland sausage slivers and bacon scraps. The potatoes seemed like baby reds in melted cheese on a pool of oil, the concept was amazing but the execution was a failure. All in all it's a very nice place but the food and drinks are mediocre
google avatar

Dani G.

Yelp
Busy spot! We were in town for the weekend and found the cafe on the way to another restaurant. We liked the menu and ate there instead! A lot of seating, including outside. Service was great- prompt and professional. The food was good- new American-ish style. A lot on the menu. The drinks were tasty! A piña colado and a beer- so nothing too fancy. They have a lot of specialty drinks and cocktails though. I'd love to go back if I'm ever in the area again.
google avatar

Calvin Y.

Yelp
Food is extremely good and the staff takes care of you. One of the servers accidentally spilt coffee on me but the GM came out and was very proactive and responsive. Their carrot cake is also extremely good! And it is a very fun summer/fall spot that I love to go back to for the roof top terrace seating. Definitely come back once a month or so
google avatar

A G.

Yelp
Great place! Food was delicious! We hab no reservations and came on a busy day. They said it would be a 30min wait but sat us in about 10min. I highly recommend the Bloody Mary's, this place has a menu just for them!
google avatar

Dave F.

Yelp
Had dinner here with a friend recently. Drinks came quickly and were potent and reasaonably priced. We tried the tuna tartare tostados. They were very good. Nicely presented with just a touch of heat to them. Friend had the eggplant which he liked. I had the meatloaf which was good comfort food. Service was kind of spotty. Water glasses remained unfilled and we got our check without even being asked if we wanted dessert. My friend was up for it so we each ordered carrot cake. I'm a big carrot cake fan, but this was really not good. Drenched in carmel, it was gloppy and way too sweet for my taste.

Yelp
We had an unfortunate experience at Cafe Benelux this last weekend for brunch. Our server barely greeted us and was just doing the bare minimum. She checked in a few times, but drinks sat empty for a while. Cocktails were okay overall. Our menu had been taken away, so we asked a staff member walking by who didn't make any eye contact with me and muttered "mhm" under her breath and then threw the menu down on the table and walked away. It was very odd because I have always had positive experiences with staff previously. We had the salmon sandwich and Benedict which were good, but under seasoned. Breakfast potatoes were barely cooked at all. Chicken and waffles was very good. We were able to sit up on the rooftop which is always very nice.

Yelp
The food here is absolute fire I got sweet potato fries and a gluten free turkey pesto and it did not disappoint. The fries were crispy and don't even get me started on the gluten free bun. The service was a bit slow but thats also probably bc it was rly busy. Overall the restaurant has a nice vibe and the waiters are super friendly and accommodating.

Yelp
The vibe on the rooftop was impeccable. Such a cool and eclectic place. Definitely the place to be. The cocktails were subpar. Ordered and old fashioned and it was so bad. Seemed like they made it with grenadine and club soda. Couldn't finish it. The food was pretty good. We got the Boursin burger (10/10) and the crab cake BLT (6/10). BLT was weird, very heavy on the breading. Overall, a good spot to enjoy the city. Stick to beer and wine.

Yelp
Made a reservation and got to a table fairly quickly-- they hadn't cleaned it yet and then seated us at a totally wet table. Our waitress was fine until we actually needed her and she blamed things on the kitchen-- however, not having silverware or napkins or other items requested was not the fault of the kitchen. Food was good-- but very salty...seems more like bar food when menu was extensive and promoted as a dining experience. Celebrating a bday and nothing was mentioned-- even after putting it in the reservation-- very disappointing!

Yelp
Easily the best place I ate in while in Milwaukee! The hodge podge was beyond delicious, the flavors paired so well together. I'm not a fan of runny eggs but I sure did eat all of this one. Not only was our food good but we left feeling FULL and our wallets only a smidge lighter. This place isn't cheap by any standards but I think the value vs food we got was really good. Our server was attentive and made sure we had drinks ordered etc. I would highly recommend this place for their food alone. I know some prefer their atmosphere but the food is up to par

Yelp
Went out for brunch with the whole family. The service was friendly and attentive. The ambiance was lively. I ordered the Classic Benedict that came with potatoes. Very filling!

Yelp
Love this place! Great beer list and the food is all awesome. Great, burger, great mussels, cheese curds of course. Service always top notch too. Had Kenna most recently and she was impeccable. On top of everything and so sweet. Easy go to and easy to recommend.

Yelp
My girlfriends and I went to Benelux over the weekend and had an amazing time. From the time you step into the restaurant with its beautiful atmosphere until the time you leave, it is a fabulous experience. The drinks were so good and the food was perfect. Our server, Ashlyn was super friendly and made sure we had a good time and had everything we needed. She was very attentive and we loved her energy. If you are in the Third Ward, I highly recommend going here to eat and have a couple drinks. -Ryanne - Appleton
