Quaint, Latin American-style cafe serving a variety of breakfast sandwiches & burritos.
"Every morning—especially on Sundays after tequila-soaked nights—Nob Hill dwellers climb down from their Victorians to revive themselves with a breakfast burrito from Cafe Isabella. The Mexican breakfast spot’s version is saucy and generously stuffed. Get the Best Friends, a tightly wrapped and griddled burrito with well-seasoned carnitas, eggs, cheese, and all the usual fixings. And be sure to drip their house hot sauce on every bite (just note it’s $1 extra). There are also bagel and croissant breakfast sandwiches, tamales, and espresso drinks to round things out. The handheld meals hold up well to go, but there are also a few tables on the sidewalk if you need to inhale the goods ASAP." - Julia Chen
"Justin Phanksom's Tea Bella Cafe pop-up offers Madagascar vanilla Basque cheesecake and masala chai. The pop-up is named after his golden retriever, Bella. Phanksom hand-grinds the spices for his chai and serves it at a set temperature. The chai is described as strong, spicy, vegan, and reminiscent of hot chocolate by a campfire or mulled wine at Christmas. Phanksom also offers cheesecake, emphasizing its texture, color, and taste." - Paolo Bicchieri
