A great and authentic restautant with a nice atmosphere. Service was relatively quick at first but towards the end when the restaurant filled up the waiters seemed a bit overworked. The food was excellent, although the sauce that comes with the lamb could have had more taste. The portions are a bit small.

Great food at this location we were able to dine on the front of the restaurant. Top-notch service. some of the portions were a little bit small and the prices were a little bit High for my taste but we did really enjoy everything that we had there. I would suggest it for people that want to have a great dining experience.

Authentic French. Tuna and quail were outstanding. Starter of crispy shrimp terrific. Desserts excellent. Wine great--you get what you pay for. Knowledgeable, friendly, english-speaking staff.

They took us in at the last minute on a saturday night to start! Really enjoyed the service and the food was also excellent. We had the duck breast and the filet and both were cooked perfectly. Don't skip dessert. It was inventive and delicious. All the food tasted very fresh and they cater to english speakers as well.

Went there last night and did not enjoy it at all. The food was not my taste and did not finish the dish. Went after looking for another place where I can have something to eat. The staff were not friendly. Maybe if you speak French they will welcome you and take care of you more. Wouldn't go there again and would not recommend it if you are looking for a good meal to wrap you long day.

Google
Friendly service, but way too expensive: 28€ for a starter and dish of the day, 6€ for a Coca-Cola... The portions are quite small too, so definitely not worth the price. Also the seasonings were not great - very salty and with unnecessary alfalfa seeds everywhere. Unfortunately this seems to be quite common in that area of Paris!

Yelp
We had two fabulous meals at Cafe Jamin. The first meal was so good that we had no hesitation in going back. All of the entrees we had (steak tartare, whiting fish, lamb and beef steak) were excellent, as were the appetizers and the yummy desserts. (Try the chocolate mousse!). The service is attentive without being intrusive, and the staff are all unfailingly nice. We went for a casual dinner, but this could also be a "special occasion" place.

Yelp
What a great meal! The food was spectacular and not your every day meal. The wine was good too. The service was amazing!!! The staff could not have been nicer and more attentive. I would highly recommend having a meal here.

Yelp
We were visiting Paris for the week and this was probably our favorite dinner spot during our entire stay. Everything was perfect. They have double doors to begin with so even though it was frigid outside and we were right by the door, we didn't get cold. The staff was incredibly attentive and helpful, even with our limited knowledge of the French language. It's a small place and looks like it might be one of the better kept secrets of Paris. From what I could tell it seemed we were the only tourists. People were fairly dressed up. We wore jeans not knowing any better, and were fine but we would have felt more comfortable if we had changed pants before going. Since we had on dressy shirts and shoes, we were able to get by. Some of the men wore jackets. The food was out of this world. They will add truffle to any of their dishes if you'd like and are known for a lobster dish. Unfortunately I'm not much of a lobster person and ordered coq au vin (which was amazing) so I cannot tell you how the lobster is, but if you like lobster, look for that dish. We went on a Friday night and managed to get our table with no reservations, but I suggest getting a reservation as I think we were lucky. It's certainly not a cheap place either. After a reasonable bottle of wine, two entrees, two plates and a dessert, we spent about 150€. Totally worth it!
