The 12 Best Restaurants Near Hyde Park - London - The Infatuation

"Inside The Pantechnicon—a grand building in Belgravia, with columns and a cream paint job—is a lovely ground floor cafe with exposed brick and foliage. The drinks menu includes that timeless post-walk thirst-quencher—the iced coffee. Choose from things like kinako iced almond latte, blossom iced matcha latte, and a floral rose syrup that tastes like spring. Our favourite is the almond latte, and you should also know that they have a few chunky sandos you’ll probably want to get involved in." - rianne shlebak, sinead cranna

Coffee Shops in the West Village | Eater NY

"This interesting coffee bar channels Paris and Tokyo, and thinks its a fancy clothing store — and if you look in the back room, it is. The madeleines and fox cookies are to die for, and all sorts of twee little pastries are provided, along with some of the strongest coffee in town. It turns into a wine bar in the early evening." - Robert Sietsema

A bit disappointing, the food looks incredible but actually mid. The salad had too much watery sauce. The hollandaise sauce on the Benedict wasn’t mixed well and the spinach on it felt not fresh. The breakfast sandwich was good. Note that the grilled cheese sandwich comes with mustard seeds and spinach which is not written on the menu. Overall should not return. Also, 7€ for orange juice is way too expensive….

The vibe is chill, perfect for a coffee break. I ordered at the ground floor counter, friendly staff, quick service. The coffee’s smooth with just the right amount of strength. After grabbing my order, I headed up to the second floor. It's a cozy space with a relaxed atmosphere, plenty of seating, and huge windows that look out onto the street. However, this place is "laptop-free", I assume the establishment does not permit customers to use laptops while seated. Overall, it’s a great little cafe with solid coffee, good energy, and a sweet upstairs spot to chill.

The food was much better if it was warm, not cold:) So, the very tourists place, what I can say. You better take something away.

we were a bit scared at first, because of other reviews. but after we saw the food in person, we immediately thought that we couldn‘t trust them 100%. the avocado bread was really good with a lot of avocado on it. the salmon bagel was delicious too, but maybe a little bit too much salmon. the orange juice was refreshing.

The outside was nice, the place is great, the view and space. The service was awful, we had to wait a long time, it wasn’t even busy. There was one waitress really doing all the work (compliments for her), the other ones were just talking. The drinks where good, but nothing special for that price.

Again and again I am noticing just because a place is popular doesn’t mean it’s always good. Very average flat white - it was way too milky for a flat white. The matcha croissant was nice and flaky but slightly dry and zero matcha flavor. Definitely not worth the price. Pret still has the best croissants and the price is right.

The staff was very kind and friendly. The pastries were absolutely delicious . Our matcha latte and cappuccinos were wonderful. We highly recommend visiting.

The raspberry tart was amazing! I enjoyed my iced chai latte, however the chai flavour was a bit too subtle. As well, the tables could have been cleaner. However, I would still revisit in the future.
