The Best New Restaurants in Las Vegas, July 2025 | Eater Vegas

"Cafe Landwer got its start in 1919 as a small coffee roasting facility in Berlin, Germany. More than a century later, it makes its Las Vegas debut with a Mediterranean-inspired menu of breakfast and lunch, plus a bakery. Located in the Boca Park shopping center, the cafe serves shakshuka, schnitzel, hummus plates, and sweet, layered rosalach pastries. Beyond coffee, also find a selection of teas, fresh juices, wine, and craft cocktails." - Janna Karel

The Best Shakshuka In LA - Los Angeles - The Infatuation

"Convincing anyone to navigate the Westfield Century City parking structure on a Sunday morning is a challenge in itself. But once you’ve made sure you won’t forget where you parked (again), you can treat yourself to a delicious Israeli breakfast at Cafe Landwer. One of its four U.S. locations and its sole California shop, this Tel Aviv-based chain has excellent brunch options that include an entire menu section devoted to shakshuka. The standard version comes as a silky smooth tomato sauce with two poached eggs and a side of nutty tahini and labneh. We’re more than content with the original, but sometimes we like to upgrade to the Med Shak with feta and roasted eggplant, or the Sinia Shak with tender beef kabob if we’re craving something heartier first thing. The great range of options make this an easy choice for when we’re on the hunt for a casual brunch, but we also have a soft stop for their za’atar crusted pita bread." - sylvio martins

Retro Coffee Shop Café Landwer Opens With Mediterranean Food in Century City - Eater LA

"Stylish, retro-designed Café Landwer, a coffee brand that originated in Berlin in 1919, has opened a location inside Century City’s Westfield Mall as of yesterday. This Los Angeles outlet is the first on the West Coast for Café Landwer, and the place has an extensive brunch and dinner menu with mostly Mediterranean influences. Think shakshuka, falafel, avocado toast, and chicken shawarma for brunch, and salads, veal schnitzel, hummus bowls, and beef kebabs for dinner — all at fairly reasonably everyday prices. The all-day restaurant has coffees (naturally), cocktails, and desserts as well to power busy mall shoppers and Century City denizens. Hours are 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily." - Matthew Kang

Google
I ordered the avocado toast with a poached egg. It came out with an over “hard” egg that was burnt. Then the avocado was supposed to have labneh on it but was straight up the most sour cream I’ve ever seen on a piece of bread. Like there was more sour cream than avocado. Absolutely the most disgusting toast I’ve ever seen. Not only that it took them 20min to make said toast. Would never eat here again. Revolting.

Their house tea blend is AMAZING! Literally one of the best teas I have had in quite some time. Cinnamon Stick, Fresh Ginger, Mint and The Landwer Mix. I had 2 cups of it. The place smelled amazing too. I'm gluten-free and they had a few options available but I wasn't hungry at the time so I did not get any food, but it did look delightful from what I could see. The server was also very friendly and seated me right away and made sure I had what I needed.

Cafe Landwer hit the spot. The staff were warm, attentive, and the service ran like clockwork. My stack of fluffy souffle-style pancakes came fresh off the griddle with plenty of whipped cream, fruit, and syrup—simple, delicious, and beautifully presented. Bright atmosphere and happy taste buds—would definitely pop back in

Google
Food is great. I asked for a salmon sandwich and chai latte. The bread was soft and well seasoned. Chai was perfectly prepared. The staff is not the happiest but they are efficient. The only recommendation that I can give is to have someone who receives new customers. It is akward to just wait at the entrance not knowing what to expect.

We came here on a busy day for Sunday lunch and we got lucky with a table outside right away. The service was overall fine. The waiter tried to help as much as possible. We did try to ask if falafels were gluten free but no one in the restaurant was able to inform us - even the chef. For the food, the chicken shawarma was a very decent size with a lot to eat. It was okay. I gotta say it was very salty overall, a bit unfortunate. The roasted cauliflower was good. Overall, it was an okay experience.

Google
Cafe Landwer is a gem! The ambiance is beautifully designed, creating a cozy and welcoming atmosphere that’s perfect for any occasion. The staff was incredibly nice, attentive, and made us feel right at home. We ordered Turkish Coffee and a Nutella Latte; both were absolutely delightful. The flavors were rich and perfectly crafted, making each sip a memorable experience. One thing that stood out was how clean everything was, especially the bathroom, which is often a good reflection of a café’s overall standards. I highly recommend Cafe Landwer for a relaxing coffee break or a casual hangout. We’ll definitely be coming back!

Google
We came across this restaurant by chance. It looked like a nice, cozy restaurant, which it was. But, we were greatly disappointed by the taste of the food. The pizza didn’t really taste like anything, and the bottom was seriously burnt. And, their Shakshouka wasn’t that good. (There was some kind of cheese sprinkled on top of it that was too pungent for my liking.) I felt like the food was not worth what we paid for.

Google
The food is always delicious and the staff is so kind. It’s cool family friendly retro spot and also a great spot for a date. We probably ate here 20x- this review is long overdue. We always get the Landwers famous breakfast but anything you order is delicious. Today the staff surprised my kids with yummy chocolate drinks. Any negative review here is obviously fake. We will be back!

Yelp
I've been to Cafe Landwer at Century City Mall multiple times, and every visit just gets better and better. I usually go with my wife and two kids, and every time we walk in, we are greeted so warmly. The staff is incredibly attentive and friendly, always seating us right away and constantly checking on us to make sure we're taken care of. Today, I was greeted by Amir, who I later found out is the owner! He was so humble and took great care of us throughout the meal. It's rare to see an owner so hands-on, making sure every guest has a great experience. There were also Damian and Oscar--Damian gave us awesome coffee suggestions, and Oscar, the manager, even came by to check on us and treated us to a free pastry! The food is absolutely phenomenal. I've tried nearly 10 to 15 different dishes here, and every single one has been delicious. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu. The service is always on point, with multiple staff members ensuring you're never left waiting for anything. This place is definitely underrated and a hidden gem! If you're looking for amazing food, friendly and attentive service, and an owner who genuinely cares about his customers, Cafe Landwer is the spot. I can't recommend it enough! Thank you, Amir, Damian, Oscar, and the entire Cafe Landwer team for always making our visits so enjoyable! We'll definitely be back!

Yelp
There is a Huge problem in the Kitchen! Today I ordered the Pancakes and a Belgium Chocolate Shake. The restaurant was about 10% full and it was lunchtime. It took almost 30 minutes before I received my order and that was only after I asked another waiter what happened to my order. There were several employees in the kitchen so I'm not sure why everything took so long. I clocked the timing at a few tables that came in after me and they experienced the same long wait times for their food. I received 3 - 1" thick pancakes and the smallest amount possible of Maple Syrup and Nutella. It was less than 1 ounce each. It was such a ridiculously small amount of Syrup and Nutella I was waiting for a camera crew to jump out and say "your being punked". The pancakes were incredibly DRY, but slightly tasty. They were really overcooked which is unexplainable considering how long it took to get them. I would have needed a gravy boat of maple syrup to make the pancakes edible. When the waiter came by and asked how everything was, I told him it was "terrible". I told the waiter that the pancakes were really Dry and unacceptable. I asked him how the cooks expected someone to eat such a large mass of pancakes with almost no syrup or nutella. He said, "Sorry" and walked away. The Belgium Chocolate Shake was good. Stay away until this place get's it's act together. There are too many better options a few feet away.

Yelp
Food was tasty would recommend eating there based on food quality alone Unfortunately once they have your money their service is lacking I was accidentally double charged, called the restaurant twice, left messages with someone who seemed nice enough, unfortunately no calls returned Have to call my credit card company now to dispute the charge Would not recommend purely based on poor operations in the double charging because one machine wasn't working (clearly it worked) and then lack of effort to rectify

Yelp
Food had big portions and okay overall. Service was not though. I wanted to take my leftovers home and the staff just threw it away, probably due to some miscommunication. They just said sorry and didn't do anything about it. Also got the wrong receipt and an extra charge for items we didn't order.

Yelp
My family and I were waiting in line for Din Tai Fung and decided to check out this cute little cafe downstairs in the meantime since it would take over an hour for us to get seated. We only wanted some drinks and snacks, so we were hoping they wouldn't be annoyed by us for not ordering full meals. Our server was so nice! They didn't make a big deal of it at all and the vibe was so chill. First of all, walking in, the decor was beautiful. Secondly, the restaurant itself wasn't too crowded and we were seated right away. My mom and I ordered the Nutella hot chocolate and my dad and fiance ordered the fruit shakes. We also ordered a side of sweet potato fries to share. The drinks were AWESOME. I think that was the tastiest Nutella hot chocolate I've had in a long time. They were generous with their portions. Same with the sweet potato fries, they came out nice, hot, and delicious. Honestly, I wish we stayed longer so that we could actually order a full meal, but this place was a good spot for just coffee and dessert too. All in all, I will definitely come back to this cafe! Such a pleasant surprise.

Yelp
We stopped in for our first time this past Sunday for an early lunch and we're so happy that we did so. I work in one of the buildings next to the Century City mall, where Café Landwer is located on the second floor. It's directly under and next to Nordstrom's on the north side of the mall. The design on the inside is really bright and open and looks kind of like a café that you would see in a European train station. The dangling ferns are a great touch. They specialize in Middle Eastern flavors and serve breakfast and lunch. Our server was very polite and everything came out fairly quickly. Parking is easy to find because it's attached to the giant Century City Mall. Pricing is fair, especially compared to other restaurants within the same mall. They have a fairly small menu, but it has a lot of international classics on it. We chose the Mediterranean Breakfast and the Schnitzel plate. The Mediterranean Breakfast was honestly really delicious and the labneh was a wonderful addition. The Schnitzel was a lot smaller than I am used to, but it had the same great traditional flavor. I have been to Europe many times and it did taste similar to what I got over there. For our drinks, we chose their famous café Landwer Iced Tea and although it was very sweet and very good, I still prefer the traditional iced tea. Overall a great breakfast and lunch option if you live or work close by or if you are visiting the mall. I would recommend and plan to be back in the future to try other dishes.

Yelp
The food here is top tier, so much flavor, and it's high quality ingredients. The restaurant wasn't too busy when we stopped by but can get a bit loud. Where they lack is the bathrooms were very dirty and the staff was fairly rude, you could tell they favored patrons who gave more of an LA vibe. However, once our waiter realized I was taking photos and videos of my food, he then changed his attitude and was more friendly. Will come back for the food but be warned service is not great and you will wait forever just for a water refill.

Yelp
Coffee shops always feel like home to me. Having moved from Detroit, I've been on the hunt for a good local retro one. Stumbled onto this place with a couple friends by chance while on our way to grab earthbar protein smoothies but the exterior to this caught my eye so we had to see it. Ambiance: so beautiful. The decor is super retro and timeless. An easy place to fall in love with. Employees were super kind and helpful. I showed up with friends with an embarrassing red face after getting micro-needling done for the first time and they didn't look at me funny coffee: tried the Nutella latte which was recommended to me by the kind owner and it's soooo good. I'd go as far as saying it's the only way you should be consuming Nutella. Will be back again!

Yelp
Have been here many times for Sunday brunch. The service can be hit or miss but the food is tasty and flavorful. It's nice to have some unique options as compared to the typical brunch menu. The herb omelette and hummus bowl are two of my favorites. There is spacious seating and overall the vibe is comfortable and inviting!

Yelp
Breakfast with a middle eastern twist. We enjoyed the food very much. The service was very good. We shared the breakfast for two and couldn't finish everything. There was a wonderful assortment of hummus, pita bread , cucumber and tomato salad etc. Everything tasted so fresh.

Yelp
A great spot to check out if you're at the mall and don't want to go the usual food court route. Delicious, quality ingredients, Mediterranean favorites. Staff is very attentive, and the space is cute. Get the lemonade slushy, soooo delicious.
google avatar

Estele K.

Yelp
Food: 4/5. Super simple dish yet so delicious. The burger is juicy and flavorful. I think one of the best burgers yet. However, the only down side is the food takes 30 minutes to come out every time I go. The french fries tasted like they were re-heated but the sweet potato fries were crispy. Service was friendly, ambiance is good for family gatherings.

Lauren H.

Yelp
Unreal. The service & food is fantastic. Great spot for lunch! I highly recommend the pancakes, or the chicken salad.

Yelp
One of the best resturaunts in LA. Phenomenal service. I love the Nutella latte the most!!

Yelp
What a great find in Century City! We stumbled on this lovely cafe while meeting a friend at the mall. It's Mediterranean and has been in business (somewhere) since 1919! We had a delicious falafel pita and shakshuka. We did not get the pancakes, but that was clearly a mistake as they looked incredible and multiple tables ordered them. I would definitely go back!
google avatar

Angela P.

Yelp
Wanted to check out this cafe for lunch with a friend. It was a hot day but we sat outside in the shade which was nice with a slight breeze. Would recommend staying inside next time when it's hot though. Tried their falafel sandwich and it came out a little smaller than I expected. Nothing too fancy, just a typical pita with falafels. A lot of the food on the menu was overpriced for what they're worth. The waiter noticed our need for the check and came right away. He apologized for the loud security sound from the escalator nearby. Overall, the food was okay in my opinion.
google avatar

Yelp
Solid food all around. Actually feels like made with love with great quality Ingredients. If u get the pasta ask for extra sauce. It will take it to a different level

Yelp
I'm a Barbie girl, brunchin' in my Barbie world ‍ Absolutely had to try the limited edition Barbie menu at @cafelandwerusa after seeing it all over TikTok. Definitely expect a long line and girlies all over the cafe giving cute pink Barbiecore, but there are plenty of reservations available on OpenTable which allow you to be seated without a wait! The food also took quite a while to come, but my sister told me that this was expected even with their normal menu. As for the food, my sister and I ordered the Hot Pink Latte and the Strawberry Dream, which were so beautifully crafted and cute. We weren't really feeling the Barbie menu dishes because they were drenched in pink food coloring, so we opted to order their Landwer's Shakshuka and Salmon Eggs Benedict. Honestly, I was blown away by the huge portions, quality of ingredients, and prices, which were VERY reasonable for West LA. I'll definitely be back to try their regular menu after the Barbie hype dies down!

Yelp
Was excited to come, but had an underwhelming experience. The interior was super cute and had good ambience for a brunch, but food and service were lacking, especially for the value and quality you expect from a Westfield Century City Mall restaurant. Here is what we ordered: Chicken Shawarma Hummus Bowl - 3/5 This came highly recommended. Chicken came lukewarm and had good flavor but the hummus was bland. The pita tasted like the kind you get at a store (bland and not fluffy like you get when its freshly made) and it wasnt even warm. Aireis Entree - 4/5 Never had one of these before but I thought it was pretty good. Lots of flavor and the potatoes that came as a side were really crispy. The tahini sauce was delish as well. Barbie Waffles - 3/5 Waffles were nice and crispy (wish it was warmer). Whipped cream texture was strange - like the kind that comes out in a can. Barbie Smoothie - 2/5 Watery and not smoothie like at all? I expected something cold and refreshing with some viscosity but it was really thin. At least it tasted like there wasnt a ton of added sugar. As for the service, it was overall mediocre. We were greeted warmly by the hostess but the lady who sat us down put the menus on our table and didnt say a word. Our server was good, she was timely in taking our order and was friendly - she and the hostess were the best part of our experience with the staff, which I think in the grand scheme of things is standard. And upon leaving, we walked past 3 staff members and didn't receive any acknowledgment, goodbye, or thanks for visiting which I find to be relatively common in any respectable establishment. Maybe this was a one off experience, not sure. Likely not coming back, but do hope they improve menu offerings to be better quality and invest in staff members who can create a more pleasant experience.

Yelp
Wowww amazing pancakes so fluffy Located in the century city mall with accessible parking and a real nice mall the breakfast burrito was amazing as well we also had the halloumi Shakshuka nice place to enjoy a good mediterranean breakfast

Yelp
Waited 20 minutes for a beer and one drink. There were three tables and 5 waiters wandering around. Manager was dismissive and rude. Go somewhere else. This place sucks.

Yelp
Barbie. Barbie. Barbie. We obviously had to come here for the barbie themed pink waffles and latte. We came here for a 12:30 reservation after seeing the barbie movie, which appears to be the same for many of the others in the restaurant. I ordered the pink lovely latte, which was cute, but seriously tasted like warm milk. I was disappointed with a $7 price tag. The pink waffles were delicious and served with fresh fruit. No complaints there. After dropping off our waffles, our server didn't come by till 40 minutes after. We had no one to ask about our roasted potatoes and ham we ordered, which came 20 minutes after our waffles did. We had been done with our food at that point, which was disappointing. I would say if you're seeing Barbie in the area, it's fun to drop by and experience the limited time items, but I would not return again.

Yelp
Turkish coffee was amazing . Lebanese was bit too lemony and the yogurt was super soar didn't enjoy it as much overall healthy option . Mediterranean salad and the falafels were great .
google avatar

Sherri H.

Yelp
Taste like fresh home cooking. I ordered the shawarma chicken plate along with a watermelon and mint beverage. It was quite tasty. The chicken was well seasoned, couscous was served warm leaving a comfy felling as I digested it. The cucumber, tomatoes and onions in the salad were nice and firm. Although the watermelon, mint beverage was refreshing, I was expecting more watermelon flavor.
google avatar

Yelp
Such a cute little place. Service is fine and food was delicious. Ordered the pancakes and the presentation was on point. Although, this place doesn't seem to be kid-friendly, it is. High chairs are provided and large families are welcome.

Yelp
I came here while I was waiting for a reservation at a different restaurant. They tell a latte is so amazing! And our waiter was super cool. I really love the location here and I can't wait to come back for brunch.
google avatar

Yelp
Took my friends to try this place and they were closed for a private event, came back the next day with friends, and glad they had a table. I have come here before and it was very good, especially the vegan shawarma flatbread. That said, I order it again and it was pretty burnt and the soy meat very dry and parts were inedible that I had to cut some pieces out. Service was friendly and the ambiance is always nice.
google avatar

Olivia Y.

Yelp
TLDR: This cafe is so cute!! It's a little pricey but everything is pretty good, especially the hummus!! FOOD: I've had all the hummus related dishes and they are all soooo good! I've also had the cheese pizza which was really good although i do want to note it is extremely cheesy so if you want a "light" pizza, this one is not for you DOGS: they allow dogs only in a stroller SERVICE: all the staff here are so nice! they let me and my friend study here and always come by to check on us. They also have wifi!!
google avatar

Ashwini A.

Yelp
SERVICE - located inside century city mall near Nordstrom's - parking in the mall can be expensive and is not validated here - indoor and outdoor seating - retro diner themed decor - service is good with servers frequently checking in on diners MENU - Mediterranean inspired breakfast, lunch, and dinner foods - gluten free and vegan options - average price ($17 per entree) FOOD - Buddha hummus (8/10): creamy hummus topped with babaghanoush, matbucha, and guacamole served with 2 fluffy pita breads. This dish was served the fastest as all the components were already prepared. It makes a great dish to share or as an entree for one. The guacamole was the most underwhelming topping as it was just mashed avocado. I really enjoyed the spicy tomato flavors in matbucha which complemented the creamy hummus perfectly. WOULD I GO BACK? Yes! It is a great option for dining while at the mall
google avatar

Laura C.

Yelp
Parking: They don't appear to validate parking in the parking garage. Experience: I saw a video about the Barbie menu on social media, and I was surprised to see that there was a ton of availability on Open Table, so I made a reservation for after our Barbie screening. We checked in with the host and then they seated us about 5 minutes later. The inside of the restaurant was really cute! Food: Honestly a little disappointing. The pink Summertime Smoothie wasn't that flavorful. My friend go the Pretty in Pink waffles, but I wasn't feeling either of the 2 plates on the Barbie menu, so I ordered a shawarma plate off the regular menu. However, I didn't get my food until a full 30 minutes after my friend got his waffles. The portion size was good, but I didn't really like the dish. I think the pizzas looked better, and if I had to go again, I'd try that.

Yelp
Cafe Landwer in Century City is such a gem. The atmosphere at Cafe Landwer is so cozy and inviting. It's the perfect spot to relax, catch up with friends, or get some work done. The menu at Cafe Landwer is filled with delicious options. Whether you're in the mood for a hearty breakfast, a flavorful lunch, or dessert, they've got it all. Their coffee is top-notch, and they offer a variety of specialty drinks, my personal favorite was the Nutella latte. The menu is diverse and full of flavor. We ordered the feta shakshuka, arais, and the pancakes. The ingredients are fresh, the portions are generous. The service at Cafe Landwer is always extremely friendly and attentive. The staff is knowledgeable about the menu and happy to make recommendations. Highly recommend!!

Yelp
Food was pretty ! Very stylish and beautiful! There was a bit of a wait for every thing except drinks and the waffles & they were out of salmon. The shroom pizza was good too. I wouldn't recommended the rice(that had onions and carrot), its on the plain side. Waffles were fluffy and sweet. Fruit was fresh. We also go the hummus, kinda bland for me as I like spice in mine (we added pepper and the cucumber salad and it was perfect) The peach Bellini was yummy. The workers worked tirelessly from opening this day til at least 5pm. Mat was super friendly and fast. Appreciate you girl!

Yelp
Delicious every time! Cafe Landwer became a favorite while I was visiting Boston and the LA location upholds their standard of high quality, amazing taste. I went with family and we ordered: breakfast burrito, shakshuka, mushroom hummus, vegan French stir fry, Mediterranean salad, and mushroom cream pasta. I don't think a single scrap was left behind, despite how full we were. In addition to the food, three drinks were ordered, bringing our total to about $120. I'd say for the amount of food and beverages we got, that's a fair price! Service was a little slow but they were very busy on a Saturday. Definitely recommend a visit!

Yelp
Wow such a delicious surprise. We toon a chance in the Westfield mall for breakfast and it was fantastic. I had an avocado toast with whipped yogurt. Yum - try it

Yelp
A cute cafe that is easy to get a table at while shopping. Share the pancakes with someone. They are big, fluffy & delicious! Great drink & food menu with a variety of offerings.

Yelp
I shared with a friend the Landwer's breakfast for 2. You get a lot of bang for your buck if you get this dish. You get an assortment of accoutrements that can be eaten with 2 different types of breads you can choose from. These sides that are given are hummus, labneh, sesame spread, cream cheese, jam, etc. It was nice to try different Mediterranean dips that I've never tried before. I also really enjoyed the yogurt and granola. It was a nice touch to stray away from the saltiness that this dish brings. It came with eggs of your choice and also a side salad. I decided to go with the omelette and my friend did too. We had a little bit of a dilemma with adding ingredients in with the omelette. We were under the impression that we were able to get all the add ons without any additional charge but that wasn't true. We decided to get all of the add ons because of this assumption, but on the receipt, an additional $7 was charged on top of our order. They were very accommodating and waived off the additional charge but beware when you want to order the omelette! I also got the Nutella latte and it was really sweet even though I have a major sweet tooth. I also couldn't substitute the milk for a milk alternative :( Overall, it was a nice place to go get brunch. The entire restaurant felt very retro and old fashioned which is a good thing! The breakfast was good, but the drink was alright. I would recommend to anyone who wants to try a unique way to enjoy brunch in LA!

Yelp
My favorite place to go when I'm at Century City Mall - the food is always good, the staff is friendly, and you have the option of sitting inside or outside. I appreciate that sitting inside makes me forget that I'm at a mall! Their mushroom hummus hits the spot every time; I always plan to try other menu items but it's just too good to pass up! Whenever I go here, my friends and I all leave feeling full and content.

Yelp
For starters, food was very solid, I ordered the chicken shawarma plate with naan, pancakes and the mint leaf lemonade granita. The pancakes and blueberries were exceptional. As for the service, my waiter was very professional and kind, I think his name was Collin. Finally, the setting was incredible, I love the vintage feel with the coffee bar and the retro posters. I highly recommend Cafe Landwer to anyone in the Beverley Hills area!

Every time I go to Din Tai Fung, I see this cute lil cafe on the floor below and wonder to myself "Why haven't I gone there yet?" Now I can finally say that I have LOL. Servers are extremely attentive and nice. They checked on us several times even though we were the only ones sitting on the outside. Food came out super quick. Even though I made a reservation for dinner time for Saturday evening, it really wasn't necessary, as there was plenty of room. I do think that it gets busy during brunch though. My friend and I both ordered the Sinia Kebab, which consisted of grilled beef & lamb in a baked focaccia bowl. There were vegetables inside as well such as a giant smoked eggplant, tomatoes, chickpeas, onion, etc. I loved that it was drizzled with tahini *chef's kiss* The portion size was much larger than I expected, and it was very filling. I had to take the rest to go. Only AMC / Gelson's validates so just be forewarned. Overall, a really kitschy diner-y vibe with good middle eastern food. Solid place!

Yelp
We come weekly and always have a great experience. Today, a portion of our order did not come out (which is understandable, it happens) and we asked the manager Oscar (polo button up with sunglasses) to check on the status of the dish. Everyone else had finished but one. He decides to escalate the situation rather than acknowledging and fixing a simple problem. It got to the point where he told us to either "shut tf up or get tf out" The service with the waiters/waitresses have always been amazing. This is the first time I have heard a manager talk with such disgust and profanity... Hope the ownership does not support this behavior and maybe the service industry is not for Oscar.

Yelp
Never again! Six of us went to this establishment for brunch. Two waiters dealt with us. We ordered our food and asked for coffee. It arrived, but was tepid. The milk/cream that accompanied it was curdled and when it was brought to their attention, the request was met with a casual indifference. One waiter took away my cup and saucer and teaspoon away returned with a a cup - no saucer or teaspoon - just the cup plonked on the table. There were six of us and table settings for 4, so we had to ask for the extras settings. Each waiter, including the so called manager was pretty indifferent . A distinctly unpleasant, uncomfortable and dare I say rude vibe all around which was palpable. Within minutes, we unanimously, decided to cancel the order and leave - but offered to pay for the coffee. Manager "kindly" waived the charge and was as eager to see us leave as we were. This is a cafe we six customers will NEVER frequent again.

Yelp
VEGAN REVIEW Came here for an early dinner on a Saturday night. We were seated immediately at 6:30pm. Our server was a little confused about clarifying what options were vegan, but ultimately it worked out. The roasted eggplant with tahini was SO GOOD- get it with zatar spiced pita! Had the soy strip French stir fry with rice, which was super tasty. Small but serviceable beer & wine selection. Friendly & attentive service. Food comes out fast! Cute café ambiance.

Yelp
Their service is okay. Their food is okay as well. I will definitely not be ordering their pancakes again. It was a very dry pancake

Yelp
Today I had the worst dining experience of my life- by far is understatement. I am 8.5 months pregnant and went to lunch with my husband, 18 month old baby boy, and few of my husband's associates from work. We decided to have lunch at Landwer at century city. My husbands associates are regulars. They work in century city so they dine there 4-5 times a month. The meal started off pleasant enough. The waiter knew us and quickly took our order. The food came out, it was ok. However, my baby's order was forgotten. We all finished eating and the baby's food still did not come out. Our waiter was busy with another table and the manager happened to walk by so my husband politely explained the situation and asked if he can check on the baby's food. That's when things escalated. The managers response was "take it up with your waiter". No apology or let me see how I can help. My husband, still in a polite and respectful tone, asked "but aren't you the manager? Shouldn't you be able to help us with this since our waiter is busy with other customers?". Thats when the manager completely lost it. He proceeded to yell at using profanities that I will not repeat here. The entire table was in shock. The situation escalated from zero to a hundred in seconds. We understand that mistakes are made, people are human, and food can run late. We were not looking to argue or cause a scene. We simply wanted him to check on the food so we can feed the baby, pay the bill, and head out. The manager is completely unhinged. The waiters seem afraid of him. He refused to give us his name and so did the entire staff (later we learned his name is possibly Oscar). In a comical turn of events, HE called security on US. He threatened to have us banned from century city mall (on what grounds is still very unclear to me, again comical). We politely spoke with security and explained the situation. They seemed completely unfazed as this seems to be a regular issue with this manager. Then the manager decided to direct his attention toward me specifically. In front of security and using profanities I will not repeat here, he told me he was sorry for my children, I should not reproduce, he was sad I was pregnant (etc. you get the gist). I was shaking from the shock. I filed a complaint with security and the manager told us we were "banned for life" from the restaurant (as if we had any desire to go back). When I got home, I decided to look online at the reviews. Not surprisingly, there are dozens of reviews complaining about this manager. The ownership seems well aware of the situation and has decided to condone it. They are condoning the verbal harassment and assault of their customers. Clearly, they couldn't care less about customer service. We will never be dining at Landwer again and I will make sure share my story.

Yelp
A treat and surprise to get such a fun and delicious menu in the CC mall. Was drawn in by their Barbie themed menu, but aside from being pretty and kitchy, the food was all so good. Love the inventive menus and fun themes, but mostly appreciate the attention to detail in how everything is made and presented. Excited to come every time we're seeing a movie at the mall.

Yelp
Ate here for lunch on a weekday with a co-worker. Got seated immediately at 12:15pm. Ordered the shawarma tray and boy was it good!! So good that I immediately booked a reservation for a birthday lunch the follow weekend. Co-worker's pasta was also chef's kiss. She ordered the mushroom pasta. Interior was very instagrammable too!

Yelp
Awful service. Slow and staff wanted to be there less than us. Waited forever for drinks. Got food order wrong and 15 mins later food still had not come out. Go across to True Food instead

Yelp
I think they paid for the reviews , Cafe NO where near ANY LAND , should be the name of this overpriced , cheap ingredient place , can't call it a restaurant. Cheap oil that looked orange . Tomatoes tasted like it came out of a can , bread was stale , garlic tasted like it came from a jar you find at the dollar store . DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY , rude people work here , the manager told us we were picky when we said we taste the metal in the sauce .
