Yelp
We've heard nothing, but great things about Cafe Momo, which serves vegetarian and Nepalese cuisine. So, my friend and I finally got around to having a nice dinner at Cafe Momo, conveniently located off I-93 at Exit 6. The atmosphere is very cozy and intimate with limited seating in tight quarters in the main dining area to the left. We were practically sitting right next to the other diners. There's also a "not much larger" dining room to the right. The decor is colorful and there's light background music playing. The menu is interesting and specials are posted.
We started out with some Mojitos ($6 each), which were very good. For non-alcoholic fun, they also offer a Virgin Mojito ($4). The chicken Momos ($8) were little steamed dumplings, very tasty. The Flat Herbed Bread ($2) was served warm. The Nepali Pickles ($2) were very spicy.
For dinner, we had the Shrimp Stir Fry ($15) and Fish Special ($16-pan crusted haddock) both served with rice and a medley of fresh hand cut vegetables, which were both very good. The food tasted light and healthy. For dessert, we tried the Sikarni ($5-creamy yogurt and fruit), which was refreshing and cool.
Overall, the food here was very good and interesting. The service by the owner was attentive and spot on. He explained the menu and refilled our water glasses often. We would definitely return here again!
