"Like the dish whose name it borrows, this charming Gramercy Park spot pulls together a variety of elements into something more than the sum of its parts. The setting has the feel of a warmly hospitable neighborhood bistro, while the cooking highlights greenmarket ingredients, judiciously drawing on global flavors, from Mediterranean to East Asian. Inspector notes: 'A meal might start with a selection from the raw bar, or an umami-packed appetizer of crisp, lightly battered hen of the woods mushrooms with a dipping sauce of anchovy, caper and cornichons.'" - MICHELIN Guide

"Cafe Salmagundi offers New American cuisine with a Korean twist. The menu features dishes like pork belly confit, whole branzino with kimchi vinaigrette, and short rib braised in red wine and soy sauce. Smaller items include calamari with picked jalapeño and grilled shishito peppers with salmon jerky. The restaurant has a 40-seat outdoor dining area and will only accept walk-ins when it opens on September 2. The opening was delayed to ensure safety during the coronavirus crisis. Chef Donggul Lee, also from Osamil, leads the kitchen." - Tanay Warerkar

This place is such a gem! The patio is gorgeous! The cocktail program is out of this world and super unique. The food is whimsical and delicious. Tons of raw bar offerings like oysters and Crudo with the best bubbly! All brunch reservations are greeted with Champagne! Nobody else is doing that! Honestly though the service— the service is so hospitable, friendly, knowledgeable, accommodating and just excellent. I’ve been multiple times and everyone is so welcoming and warm! They love what they do and that’s truly hard to find in this industry this day in age! Can’t wait to go back soon!

This is a can't miss experience! Absolutely fabulous in every way, from the service to the food, the atmosphere and the drinks. Everything was spot on and we were blown away. Every dish was amazing, we all did the 4 course. Those in our party ordered dishes including the Tuna, Lobster, Sea Bass, Prawns, and Carrot cake. Honestly one of the top 10 dining experiences I've had in my life in terms of the taste and quality of the food - it is truly that good.

What an amazing meal last night! My boyfriend and I stopped for brunch on Saturday and we’re so impressed we had the 9 course tasting menu on Sunday. Cathy, Julia, Renee, Dimitri, Tyler, and Brennan along with the rest of the staff were absolutely phenomenal. The food had me speechless and the wine and cocktail pairings were spot on. I cannot wait to go back! Highly recommend this spot. Amazing food with a more relaxed and friendly vibe.

This is my new favorite restaurant! What a unique experience. Wanted food after a concert and came across this place. The restaurant is gorgeous! The vibes are so great here! I've never been to a restaurant like this and I absolutely loved it. The food is so worth the price. It's definitely an experience you'll never forget. We ordered 3 items and shared them. We started with the tuna - avocado, cucumber. Then the lobster - cauliflower, red cabbage. And also the Prawn - parmigiana tagliatelle. Everything was fresh and delicious. Seriously, the best pasta I've ever eaten. I'm not in NY often, but I will definitely be back to eat here again. The staff was great as well! This restaurant is a must!!!

Google
Top tier on all fronts - food/drinks, service and ambiance. Repeat customer with plans to return. Unique cocktails, excellent wine pairings, one-of-a-kind tasting menu with attentive servers. Most recently I came in for the restaurant week coursing menu and brunch. Highly recommend... everything.

Google
Awesome brunch and dinner place on Irving Place. Richard's pancakes were excellent and a great Father's Day treat. Attentive service and lovely outdoor seating. It is so sad that Salmagundi is no longer offering brunch (but we hear it may be coming back). Tonight's dinner by Chef Brendan Skiber was awesome. Lovely chicken and duck and fabulous desserts. We got completely "skiberised".

Google
Popped in last night unplanned and really enjoyed my dinner. Was only able to try 2 dishes, but the double fried wings and short rib were so well prepared and delicious, that I have no doubt the entire menu is tasty as well. There is lots of outdoor seating and the inside is cozy as if you were in a Parisian bistro. Looking forward to coming back and trying the entire menu. Definitely a great date spot.

Yelp
Drinks (5/5): Ordered several drinks with some friends and had a great time. We even asked for a randomizer: a random bartender drink and had something amazing. Highly recommended. Service (5/5): Super friendly service and tremendous bartender. My friend lives near this bar and always talks highly of the bartender 'Gelo. He didn't disappoint and made excellent drinks as well as treated us well. Ambiance (5/5): Beautiful place with plenty of seating and a great atmosphere.

Yelp
Came here with my wife and daughter for restaurant week. We chose Salmagundi because the restaurant week menu had more interesting options than many other participating restaurants. We started off with cocktails which were well executed. Our apps, entrees and desserts were all very good as well. Very good experience at this restaurant. I would be happy to drink and dine here again when in the area!

Diana W.

Yelp
The food is amazing! There's a good rotating selection of oysters on the half shell, which were shucked perfectly. The appetizers are nicely portioned so I was able to taste multiple dishes. The scallops were seared perfectly. On top of the expansive variety of dishes on the menu, it's the gluten free fryer that will bring me back. The French fries and hen of the woods are gluten free and that's not something that is widely available to those with a gluten allergy. All together, there's a good amount of dishes that are gluten free, so I wasn't limited to just being offered salads like in most restaurants. I am very appreciative of that effort because I hate salads. The cocktails are very well balanced, and there's a few non-alcoholic drinks too!

Kaylee S.

Yelp
The food was so overpriced and not great. We got the "Hen of the Forest" or something- it was basically sweet potato shoe strings and aioli. I got the $32 scallops. 3 mediocre scallops, cut in half to look like 6... on a bed of beans. Way way overpriced. Fun to hang with friends but I would stick to the drinks and skip the food. $100 later I am hungry and bored w what I had.

Jordan W.

Yelp
Came here for a drink on a first date. They offered us complimentary champagne, which is amazing. I had the green point as my cocktail... also amazing. We split the melon and fois gras.. everything was super good so now I want to come here for a dinner sometime.

Anant G.

Yelp
I came to cafe salmagundi with a group of 6. We all did the tasting menu (7 courses I think?). While overall I think the food and service were only ok, at the end of the day we got out for 200 / person while ordering multiple bottles of wines and a large tasting menu so I think cafe salmagundi is pretty decent value. Food 4/5: While no course was bad, the restaurant didn't have many dishes that really stood out either. Interestingly enough many of the non-vegetarians commented that it seemed like the vegetarian tasting menu may have been better. A few comments on specific dishes. Cucumber appetizer 2/5: nothing wrong with this dish but it was too light on flavoring and felt similar to just eating a wedge of cucumber. Melon appetizer 3/5: generally fine with better flavoring. "Cornichons" dish 5/5: Tons of textures mixed into this dish with flavors that worked together really well. This was my favorite dish. Poached eggs 4/5: generally well cooked with good creamy sauce. Mushroom entree 2/5: well cooked but flavoring wasn't very inspirational Cauliflower entree 4/5: flavored kind of like a thanksgiving meal with some char Carrot cake dessert 4/5: perfect amount of sweet with cinnamon and walnut flavor on the back. Pie / tart 1/5: way too sweet, I had one bite and stopped eating

Yelp
Dined at the bar on a Friday night. This place was excellent. It was packed as well. Amazing food, great cocktails, very kind service. Here's what to get: the Korean fried wings- awesome soy garlic sauce and crisp. The steak- cooked medium rare is perfect, is great without dipping into the sauce it comes with. The calamari- cooked perfectly. And the gambas- awesome spicy flavor. The whole menu sounded awesome though. High recommend.

Nisha L.

Yelp
The food was excellent and innovative. The speck and melon was.... Muah. The duck was deelish. Our server was lovely. Now for the flip side, the wine is expensive and the pour is 4 oz not 5. I asked the manager or maitre'd (not sure) about the size of the pour since it was visibly smaller, and he said it was 4. I said I was surprised since the normal pour was 5 and he went on to say that was old fashioned. Huh!!! He tried to make amends by bringing us a glass of bubbly on the house. So I would definitely go back for the food.

Vishnu G.

Yelp
I had the mushroom japchae, the Irving, and the espresso machine. The cocktails were good, especially the Irving for its uncommon flavors. The food was just alright, but the portions were quite small. Overall, this felt pretty overpriced for the quality and quantity.

Grace Z.

Yelp
I know. I know! You're looking at this thinking, "They charged you $12 to make 4 martinis dirty?! Surely not. That would be an utterly scheisty business practice!" After all, we here in New York will pay $18 for a cocktail when the occasion calls for it, which is not infrequently. But to upcharge us for our sodium chloride? It's a step too far. Fear not... there's an oh-so-reasonable explanation! (We called.) You see, classic cocktails are $18. And so although we had ordered the $15 martini, they HAD to add $3 per martini to reach the new prices. They just tacked on the "extra dirty" tag for laughs. Presumably a Campari soda is ALSO a classic cocktail, so they had to add $3 to make it $18. Wait, that would be $17. Let me just call them back... Oh and LMAO the burrata came with one slice of sourdough sliced in half and when we asked for more bread they charged us THREE DOLLARS lmao. Fuckin clowns. I hope you snort something dirty through the $3 soda + $3 bread + $12 olive juice = $18 doll hairs you squeezed from us and deviate your septum. Good steak tartare tho.

Yelp
Came here for a girls night, and they did not disappoint. Food was delicious and drinks were great. Very good wine menu as well. Service was excellent very prompt and friendly!

Fei S.

Yelp
I would never have guessed, by the name of the restaurant, that they served Asian-fusion food... and they do it so well! There were so many layers of umami in this modern version of Korean japchae noodles. I was very impressed. Definitely want to be back to try the rest of the menu. Japchae (sweet potato glass noodle, maitake, shiitake & oyster mushroom, truffle oil, sesame oil, poached egg)

Alice W.

Yelp
This restaurant was recommended by a friend as an Asian-inspired tapas menu. Came here for a Friday night dinner and it did not disappoint. The place on the outdoor seating was packed though so we got a seat indoor, not super large spot and slightly dim lighting sets the mood for the inside. We ordered a couple small plates to share. Each dish had such an interesting texture and flavor combination. It was great. My favorites: -Sweet Potato fries: these fries are SO large, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, the aioli that came with was also great. I really liked this dish -Korean fried chicken: the seasoning / coating on this fried chicken was great and it was so yummy to eat -Short rib: what an amazing combination of carbs, greens and meat. Generous portions with meat that's falling off the bones. SO good. I will be back again soon!

Yelp
Jungle bird was lovely. The rum float on top has this like roasted chocolatey flavor that was delicious but very boozy (well it's a rum float). The rest of the drink was quite sweet and tropically fruity which balanced that initial toasty taste. The gran merci was light and delicious but the lemongrass was heavier than we both expected. Loved the space, there's so much outdoor seating with heaters. And the waiter we had was so nice in giving us a good recommendation too!

Morlene C.

Yelp
Worse than the confusing, disjointed menu with seemingly no identity and that the acoustics of the space were such that I could not hear my dining companion over the white noise of the restaurant, was the impossibility of getting the attention of someone to take our orders, inquire about dishes that didn't arrive, and for our check. I imagine like most restaurants in *these times* they are understaffed and stretched thin, so despite the frustrating cadence of the meal, I'll move onto tepidly reviewing the food. They appear to have changed up the Caesar Salad recipe, for the one we had with dried figs and salmon jerky is no longer on the menu. Perhaps it was a temporary experiment in new flavors and ingredients, but it definitely didn't land. We had a whole fish in a green sauce that was tasty enough, though not one I feel compelled to return for. Their cocktails were well made though, so I wouldn't mind stopping in for another drink but only when they are less busy and I'm not in a hurry.

Andrew F.

Yelp
What a find! Michelin star quality experience. Cannot wait to come back, especially when we can experience the indoor decor/vibe properly after covid. Was walking around Gramercy in search of an outdoor dining spot that was not only properly socially distanced, but had enough cover from the wind/cold, along with heat lamps. So, this is a definite plus for a first impression. Started with a few delicious drinks (the mocktails with vodka/gin added were amazing, highly recommend, espresso martini was so rich with flavor), going good so far. We started with the uni bibimbap and the sweet potato fries. If you get any one app, it's the sweet potato fries, hands down one of the most deliciously flavored fries I've ever had, the jalapeño mayo to dip them just sent them to another level. The bibimbap had the right amount of everything, creating a flavorful, perfectly textured dish. On to the bigger items, the pizza di mar and pork belly confit were both great. The pork belly didn't even need a knife to cut and the fig spread balanced the salty/sweet perfectly. Really hope this place makes it through and deserves to be filled to capacity all day every day!

Jeremy G.

Yelp
Awesome bar. We had "The Patty," an off-menu item (might be on it now) that is basically a Matchatini. The bartender Jello makes it-- it was incredible. Hello also makes a jellorita shot which was the best shot I've ever had

Eric K.

Yelp
This is a review of outdoor dining during COVID. Café Salmagundi is a new restaurant which opened recently during the pandemic. Maybe it's because of COVID, but this place is still relatively unknown and there are open reservations even on weekend nights. However, they definitely deserve a visit! The outdoor dining area is large and well spaced-out. Many of the tables are covered which is a huge plus. Both the food and cocktails are great. My friend and I split the gambas, pizza di mar, and braised short ribs. Portion sizes were surprisingly large and everything was extremely flavorful. The gambas were probably our favorite dish overall. Buttery, garlicky, salty deliciousness with a large piece of toasted sourdough to suck up all that flavor. The only (relative) miss was the seafood pizza --- unfortunately, my friend had a bite of shellfish which was sandy and not cleaned well. While the food was good, the drinks were the true stars. I ordered the Penicillin and The Irving while my friend ordered the Tequila Surprise. All of the drinks were well balanced, beautifully presented, and spirit-forward, just how I like them. The Penicillin is shaken and served tableside which is a nice little touch. However, the drinks are quite expensive at $19 per drink, which is even more expensive than the average drink at nearby speakeasies like Dear Irving and Raines Law Room. Anyway, I hope that business continues to increase here and that more people are willing to check them out. Will definitely be back soon.

Elisa H.

Yelp
Romantic, open garden feel inside & out with good service. The touted fries were ok. The oysters fresh, the wings decent and the fall off the bone rib was delectable. It was definitely the company & ambiance that makes this spot return worthy for a celebratory occasion.

Kalel P.

Yelp
First let me say, I've only had drinks here, so this rating is only for that. But if more people are having a similar experience, you know something's up. Ambience: it's pretty packed in but has a nice speak easy vibe to it. Drinks: I'm sorry but they just were not good. Not even decent for 16.00 a pop. The "penicillin" literally tasted like medicine. It's not supposed to. I've had some fresh really delicious ones. The "Blue Lagoon" you see in the picture was not tasty and a bit on the sour side. I didn't mind the spice. If you're naming a drink with anything "Blue" it should taste refreshing and delicious. This was neither. I will still give it another shot and go back at some point, but for my first round, I was disappointed.

Sarah L.

Yelp
Found this gem as I was passing by. I tried out the daily selected oysters here, and I was not disappointed. The oysters are fresh, and the sauces add another layer of deliciousness. However, some of the oysters I received had some "broken" ones, and I almost swallowed a piece of shell which was a little unexpected hence the 4-star. But overall, I enjoy the freshness and the variety of the selected oysters and the ambiance for a quick lounge/catch-up spot with friends, so I will probably come back in the future and will recommend it!

Allison H.

Yelp
Absolutely loved everything about this restaurant, the dishes were all delicious with a hint of Korean influence already planning on coming back to try everything else! Low ceiling, dark wood, dim lit, cozy and casual ambiance with great music and the perfect (not too quiet or too loud) sound level. Highly recommend!!

Greta H.

Yelp
Best smelling bar with the coolest ceiling art! Seriously - was at the end of the bar with the fresh herbs, syrups and spritzes and citrus zest. I came in for the name (researching early American Food - so the name caught me). But would stay for the cocktails and the bartenders. I had the Rum en Roll - and it was like going back and getting all the richness of rum and cocoa and sugar, the bitters and the spice. It lives up to the idea of Complicated Tasty - 5/5 Would recommend!

Su L.

Yelp
My friend and I picked this place for Sunday brunch after seeing that it was newly opened. They have a picturesque and cute outdoor dining set up. We were seated immediately when we got here, and service was attentive and efficient throughout our visit. We both ordered the mussels since we wanted something on the lighter side. The mussels came in a big bowl, with a large chunk of bread. They were satisfying and filling. Would come back to try their other food.

Megan P.

Yelp
Slightly mixed reviews about this restaurant. Great ambiance and vibes. When it is warm out, the outdoor space is fantastic. I'm a big wine fan, but not a fan of their wine (not downgrading the stars off this because I'm picky). Why I didn't give 5 stars is because of the service. Sat at the bar and the bartender was incredibly slow. We had a very simple order - 2 glasses of wine which took entirely too long to get. I did not try the food, so I can not compliment my review off the food - it is just ambience, service and wine menus.

Johan A.

Yelp
Outstanding. We went to the restaurant on a Friday evening after watching an off broadway show. We took the "Let's cook for you" menu. The food was amazing, fresh and we certainly will come back. As Europeans we enjoyed the flavors, fresh and variety of food. We will come back and bring our friends for sure. The service of Brian was great as well and the chef came out a few times to explain the different dishes.

Coco C.

Yelp
If I could give this place more stars, I would! I came here with a few girlfriends to celebrate her birthday and the food was phenomenal. The service was amazing and all the staff were so nice! We ordered truffle fries, shishito pepper, uni bowl, signature Korean fried chicken, and short ribs. These are usually my to-go dishes at many restaurants so I wasn't expecting to have my mind blown but WOOWWW, when I say those are one of THE BESTTT Korean fried chickens I've had, I am NOT kidding. You HAVE to try the signature Korean fried chicken. It's slightly tangy, sweet, and spicy with a crispy skin and juicy meat. My friends and I almost burned our tongues when we took a bite the second they placed it down because of how incredible it smelled. You have to try the short ribs too! The meat literally flaked off the bones and paired perfectly with the mash potatoes. We couldn't get enough! Zoe, our bartender was very attentive and kept coming to refill our water and drinks. After a few round of drinks and finishing our food, we noticed we were one of few tables left and felt like we should go but Amy, the manager came up to greet us and even assured us it was ok for us to stay. She noticed we were frantically rushing to finish our drinks. We decided to move to the bar for one last drink before leaving after we paid the bill and my friend mentioned she wanted something less strong. Primo, the bartender was very professional and asked for her liquor preference, sweetness level, etc. The service here is unmatched! Food: 5/5 Ambiance: 5/5 Service: 5/5!

Adam P.

Yelp
All of the portions are ridiculously small. For example we ordered the tortellini and it was 6 pieces of mediocre pasta for $30. The salad was also a small portion and same goes for the salmon. Overall pretty underwhelmed and won't be going back, especially for the price.

David T.

Yelp
Really happy we ended up here on a random Saturday. Food was great: loved the pasta with the chopped shrimp, the halibut, and the gnocchi. All exceptional. Nice atmosphere, too, and excellent service. Will be back for the pasta!

Tony R.

Yelp
I have lived near Cafe Salmagundi since it opened and would walk by the restaurant every day on my way to work. I never thought about making a reservation until is saw it on the Michelin Bib gourmand listing. What a find. The three of us had a very good meal. The saesar salad mussels and clams, squid french fries, hanger steak, Salmagundi Bowl Rice, farro, barley, quinoa, red cabbage, bean sprout, carrot kimchi, micro arugula, soft tofu). ( Choice of Spicy or Soy dressing ) and the Uni Bowl Uni Bowl (uni, quinoa, wasabi tobiko, rice, kimchi, pickled radish, perilla, shallot, seaweed purée, frisée) were all tasty and well prepared. Service was efficient and helpful.

Gregory M.

Yelp
Solid food and cocktails- steak portion was a bit small, but it was tasty nonetheless! My girlfriend and I were aiming to do a Steak Frites vibe but our Truffle French fries were brought out 10 minutes prior to the steak. Also wish they had a wider variety of beers. Would go back, and wish this spot the best of luck.

Jane L.

Yelp
Shameful. Completely and utterly shameful. I've lived in NYC for over 16 years and have never experienced such blatant price gouging, which speaks volumes considering how many bars I've frequented in this city over the years. My husband and I met two friends here for drinks last night before dinner, and although we were somewhat taken aback by the size of the drinks (the wine was basically a tasting pour and the martinis were served in small coupe glasses), we decided to stay there since we were having sushi across the street afterward. The bartender was fine at first but his demeanor changed when I believe he overheard us comment among ourselves about the volume of wine in the glass (which we never expressed to him directly, nor did we ever treat him with anything but respect). Once we were ready to close out, I started to ask him if it would be possible to get two separate checks, but he cut me off mid-sentence and snapped, "I will give you one check and you guys can figure it out." I was somewhat taken aback but didn't react. Once we got the check, we saw that we were charged an additional $3 per drink for the soda water in the vodka sodas as well as an extra $3 per martini to make them dirty. That elevated the price of each drink to $20. When I questioned it, he told me to speak with the manager, and the manager at first claimed that the bartenders add more alcohol to drinks when there is a mixer, which is completely false since we watched the bartender meticulously measure out one ounce pours for each drink. When I told the manager this, he then claimed that the soda water was "artisanal," which is why they add $3 per drink. Ha! I'm sure the olive juice is hand pressed by Greek monks as well. I am appalled by this place and the positive reviews. I will never return here, nor will our friends (who, for the record, are native NYers and also never experienced anything like this before). I wish the nail salon that occupied this space previously would come back, because the last thing this city needs is a cliche establishment with "artisanal soda" that has no ethical boundaries or sense of customer service.

Nicole S.

Yelp
Absolutely delicious food. Service was personable and attentive and ambiance was lovely. Not sure why it took so long to find this place but so glad I did. Highly recommend.

Cecilia O.

Yelp
2nd time here on 3/11/2022 and experience was very disappointing. From the moment we sat and all through out we were reminded many many times that we had 1hr and 30 mins. It got so bad that 10 mins before our time was up, they came and told us that there are seats are the bar although we were still eating and drinking. At that point we were so annoyed that we paid and left. On our way out I informed the hostess about the poor experience and she was just as rude as our waiter. One of the worst experiences in a long time.

Joy S.

Yelp
We have been to many celebrity chefs' restaurants - Thomas Keller, Jean George, Marcus Samuelsson, etc. - and Chef Brendan Skiber is as inspired, creative, and skilled as any of them!! It is like discovering Picasso before everyone else knows he is Picasso. His food tantalizes all the senses. Each bite is perfect harmony. We have followed him from his last restaurant to now Salmagundi and we will follow him wherever he goes. We also need to thank the wonderful staff there, too. Simply five star service throughout the meal! Go to Salmagundi the first chance you get. You will not be disappointed!

Paola A.

Yelp
Disappointing cocktails for the price. Dimly lit, so good for a date. Didn't stay for the food once I had the mediocre cocktail. Maybe I'll come back to try food and stick to beer.

Laura S.

Yelp
the service was wonderful, Hugo our waiter shared his wine savvy and his food recommendations were superb. The "Richard" pancakes were delicious .. apparently a recipe from the chef's mother, , and the poached egg over cornbread fait maison with a dash of hollandaise had delectable panache . oh and the hamburger with sauce mornay was yummy too. The location and atmosphere were great. Can't wait to go back!

Hanna K.

Yelp
Ambiance was nice but food and service were not better than expected. It would be good for late night snacks but not for dinner quality.

Jefe D.

Yelp
Fantastic spot in the Gramercy area for food and cocktails! I had oysters during happy hour and were amazing. Also had amazing cocktails from the beverage director Gelo. Definitely worth checking out the menu and staff is great!

Kristie Q.

Yelp
Great little restaurant near Union Square. Perfect for a date or after work happy hour. We had the sweet potato fries to start which were excellent, they use Korean sweet potato for these which are my favorite. Then for entrees we tried the Bronzini and Short Rib, both were great but out of the two the Short Rib stood out the most. I also had an great strong Espresso Martini here. 10/10 would recommend :)

Don D.

Yelp
There aren't enough adjectives in the English language to describe what an absolute treasure this place is. The menu is perfectly conceived, the food is perfectly prepared, the ambience finds the fine balance between stylish and casual but not silly, the service is gracious but not in any way precious. All in all, a spectacular way to spend a few precious hours of one's life. Oh, and don't forget the bar! The bar at Cafe Salmagundi has become my favorite bar in a city filled with great places to have a drink. The bartenders know how to make perfect cocktails (try the Paper Plane!) and serve them with hospitality and humor. I have many reasons to visit NYC but Cafe Salmagundi is at the top of any list.

Yelp
3.5 stars, rounding up to 4...because, well why round down? And also because we ended up finding this spot while walking in the neighborhood, so it was a surprise find (the good kind). It has a pleasant and relaxed outdoor seating setup, and being situated on the corner on Irving Place, it feels quintessentially New York :) Small menu, but executed well: Caramelized beets and brussels sprouts were fine (though nothing notable). The striped bass was good - cooked well, and interesting combination with the leeks, asparagus, and carrot infused beurre blanc. Drinks: had the Penicillin...robust ginger flavor, albeit a bit too sweet for me on the first go. They adjusted the sweetness down on the second go when I asked them to...listening to feedback is one thing, and responding to it is another (definite plus points to the server and bartender on this. Also a contributor to rounding up the half star). The service was warm, courteous, and attentive. All in all, a good addition to the neighborhood!

Yelp
I went to this place for the first time and loved it! Outdoor seating was adorable and cute! Great spot to take photos!! Manager was very kind and professional. We ordered Banana foster french toast, jamon serrano, fruit and waffle and sweet potato fries! *Fruit waffle - flavorful chewy and crunchy! It seemed small quantity but quality wise it was perfect! *jamon serrano - egg was so creamy and soft *sweet potato fries - not to oily and loved the jalapeno sauce! Spicy but very fresh and unique taste In my opinion they should add more menu for vegetarians. Especially in New York city Their manager recommended me to come for dinner! He said they have various menu for dinner. I would definitely come back!

Yelp
the most amazing restaurant - the cocktails were phenomenal, the chicken wings, japchae, oysters, steak and spicy squid were ALL 10/10. I do not have one complaint about this experience. It was a home run and I would go back in a heartbeat to try more items!!!

Yelp
Obsessed with this place. The food was outstanding (same owners of Osamil cocktail bar) and flavorful. I even liked the drinks better than at Osamil. Quaint adorable spot that was fairly easy to get a reservation at on the same day. Awesome Korean flavors.

Stumbled across this place and I'm very happy I founding. I came during happy hour 5-7pm they have $4 off some of their cocktails (no wine :() and $1 oysters. I had the chicken wings and they were super tasty. The food looks great will definitely come back and taste something else. Dog friendly and staff was incredibly nice.
