Other reviews note this place is a little expensive, which is true. However they have a two page menu and you can get all the things vegetarians can't other places - gumbo, buffalo chicken, French dips, etc. For an old-school vegetarian, this is extremely exciting. Your choice of vegan cheese (didn't try it) or dairy. We got the pepperoni/sausage pizza; a chili dog; gumbo; a buffalo chicken wrap; and a smoothie. They told me 15-20 minutes and came through.
I probably wouldn't get the pizza again; $24 for a medium pizza is a bit much and it was only so-so. Dairy cheese appeared to be a cheddar/white cheese (not mozzarella) mix so it didn't stretch right and the house-made sauce was a bit sweet. My companion noted he really liked the crust. It came with garlic bread (not toasted); both it and the hot dog bun were very old-school Wonder Bread-soft. We both liked the chili dog (the relish, unlike the Portillo's version, is not neon green); the gumbo is best enjoyed hot but was nice (more okra would be good); and I really liked the buffalo chicken wrap, though I'm not usually a big buffalo fan: nice mix of textures, sauce hit just right. The smoothie was fine, but when I come here, I'll probably concentrate on the stuff I can't get anywhere else (patty melts, French dips, etc.). As noted elsewhere, line for the vegetarian food is on the right (the people taking your order will happily tell you); grab a menu and browse.
I was here mid-December and even though it's in a mall, it's on the edge, so you're spared any craziness and parking was available. At about 3pm on a rainy day, no line to speak of but plenty of folks chowing down. 4 stars for food (eat it hot if you can; I got take-out); 5 for selection.
