"It’s not the most subtle name, but it definitely gets the point across. This Gold Coast restaurant is the third location of I Can’t Believe It’s Not Meat (the others are in Hyde Park and Orland Park). As you might have deduced from the name, it’s a plant-based restaurant with vegetarian versions of tasty things like buffalo shrimp, hoagies, cheesesteaks, and pizza puffs. Just know that this place is takeout-only, so plan on getting your vegan loaded fries to go." - Adrian Kane

I came here twice before I made my review, and WOWW! The food is TOP TIER! The service is amazing, I love to see a woman of color at the front counter whom is pleasant, and beautiful. I ordered the Philly Cheesesteak one night, and the next day brunch. First time was pick up and go, the next day I dined in with my baby girl. Even the shake was amazing. I will be back again to try so much more! I came all the way from NC and debating if I even want to go back, the vegan food in Chicago V/S NC does NOT even compete to compare lol. I love this place and as long as I’m out here, I’ll be spending my coins here ☺️

This establishment has a pure vegetarian | vegan friendly menu, which is pretty diverse. The quality of the food is good and overall fresh. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. This has become a regular spot to frequent when cooking is not on the agenda. This restaurant is recommended to the vegetarian | vegan community or for all those who want to try something new.

Had a Dr.’s appointment out in Tinley Park and am always on the hunt for new vegan restaurants whenever I travel further away from where I live! I was so pleased to find this place! The atmosphere is warm and inviting and the food was absolutely delicious!!! I opted for the “Not Cane’s” tenders along with the Cookie Monster shake and was blown away!! My partner got the Nashville Hot Chicken sandwich and also loved it! We will definitely be making the drive and returning very soon to try more!😋

Google
Nice setup and vibe here with music to jam to while you eat. The menu is extensive with a lot to choose from so I just went with the Who Betta Burger which was seriously better than expected. First off it is a big burger with all the traditional toppings. The first bite was hella good it was juicy, and messy, just the way a burger supposed to be 8.7. Next, I got there Philly Cheese Steak Rolls. Yo, these things are a certified banger in my book. I mean packed with flavor, it's cheesy, crunchy, and that sweet dipping sauce was dangerous 🔥🔥 9.5. Washed it down with their Mango drink its very refreshing and with the right amount of sweetness for me "It was crack🔥🔥🔥🔥" 9.8. Overall, the vibe is chill, and I love the fact it's vegan 9.3

I live in Central Illinois so whenever I get the chance to travel up north, I stop by and get food. Absolutely loved the shrimp po boy but with all the toppings they put on makes it's so messy.i love that it's got a kick to it but it's not over powering. The philly cheesesteak egg rolls are divine and a lot larger than I thought they'd be! The chikn nuggets are normal size and juicy. I will say, the only disappointing thing was the Chi Town's finest. I previously got them at the Hyde park location and they were A LOT bigger . However they were still delicious.

I’m vegan and tend to never have good options. I was in the area & decided to try this. Had the Chik’n Philly sandwich. It was amazing!! I was blown away. Will make the drive back to try other items.

Had the WhoBetta Burger at the Jerk Seafood Vegan Festival and it was delicious! I can't wait to visit one of their locations in the near future!

Google
This place has some really tasty food, the wait is wild though, It seems they cook EVERYTHING in a pizza oven, literally. Service was decent, this is more of an order your food pick it up at the front and they provide seating type of restaurant.i think if they stepped it up to provide table service, it may be a more pleasant experience. The music is way too loud.

Yelp
I really appreciate this is such a successful vegan small business, they so deserve it! The ambiance is really tropical, colorful, and homey. I saw all the reviews and was in the area so I thought I would try the really popular vegan recreation of Wendy's Krabby Patty. Unfortunately, they were sold out but I got the Big Mik instead (was told that was the most comparable). I took a glance at the menu and was immediately overwhelmed by all the other options - it's really nice you can also choose between vegetarian and vegan cheese. My only note about my order was that the patty did become increasingly salty as you ate through it, but I didn't realize it was a double patty and would probably go for a single next time. The portion was very generous also. The only thing I would not order again is the milkshake - it did taste kind of synthetic and was too thick to suck through the straw. This was really, really impressive! Would definitely come back if I'm in the area!

Camille S.

Yelp
I unfortunately was so dissatisfied with my order of the Eggrolls today. They were dry , overcooked, and partially filled. In addition the fries which are normally crisp and flavorful were lacluster and soggy. As an Elite yelper, I've reviewed ICBINM before, this was nowhere near what I've experienced in the past. I hope this was a one off day and not the direction of the fare. Prices went up and quality became subpar At this rate, Momma might slap you back, and Baby Jesus will spit on you! . Sincerely, Camille

Yelp
As a vegetarian I really wanted this restaurant to be good. It surpassed my expectations. My friends and I each chose a different item, plus a takeout. We all enjoyed our choices. I really like that it's two restaurants in one space. All vegetarian/vegan on one menu plus soul food with vegetarian options on the other menu. Nice size portions and friendly staff. I'll be back to try other items the menus are big!!

Yelp
I have been coming here for a while, but the last few times I have come here have been horrible. I am warning people to not come here because the service is horrible. The food is mediocre and whenever you try and do pick up through any of their services, it does not work. They cancel last minute and take your money, when they don't want to make your order. The line goes out the door and they have older workers standing around but not helping people. This business could use a lot of help and I will not be returning.

Tabitha W.

Yelp
While the Hyde Park location is technically closer to me, the parking situation is more convenient at this location, so this is where we default to for indulgent vegan food. Their menu has a lot of of comfort food classics, and everything I've tried has been delicious. Our most recent visit was for the Spongebob Krabby Patty Kollab. Their prices can seem a little high, but it's mostly worth it for the quality of indulgent food. The inside can get loud and fill up even though they have a fair amount of seating.

Yelp
I have nothing but awesome things to say about this place! The decor is super green and cute. You smell how good the food is when you're just in the parking lot and believe that sent because the food was so good!! My friend got the bang bang shrimp, and it was my first time eating vegan shrimp. It wasn't bad. I like the size of it and it did look like shrimp! The seasoning with spot on. It was on the crispy your side, but it held up when you're dipping. The fries are crispy and seasoned well too! I got the Who betta burger. Let me tell you that I should've asked to shake the chef's hand because the experience of eating that burger was pretty close to the experience of eating actual meat. It had very good char and the seasoning was on point. Plus. the color and consistency looked like well done real meat too. No red meat juices but kinda a plus because then I wasn't dealing with a messy burger. It was VERY positive experience. I'm still craving the burger. I really did say out loud I can't believe it's not meat! The fries were seasoned well, too! Perfect pairing but the star for me was the burger! Kudos to this mighty tasty restaurant. It is one of my faves now because of the burger and I'll pretty much try any of their items now that I've tasted how thoughtful they are with their cooking.

Ayana H.

Yelp
The sweet steak sandwich is amazing! Definitely makes you think you're having the real thing. I completed my order online and it was ready as promised. The staff were very nice. The decor is so cute, with the flower wall and pictures of famous people who have visited. Love this place!!!!!

Brit F.

Yelp
Vegan vibes!!! Yes!!!! Can't overstate how good this vegan food was. Big Mik and Nashville "Chicken". We're. On. Point. Fries. Slay. 10/10 for Can't Believe It's Not Meat. Stop in. Stop by. Woman Owned and Operated.

Tinisha B.

Yelp
I walked in with zero expectations and left 200% satisfied! I've had my share of places and their non meat products and overall I've been underwhelmed. To my surprise this food actually visually looked and tasted like real food. I couldn't have felt better eating a $16 burger and fry combo. The ingredients are freshly prepared, the place is clean and the music vibes were wonderful. With easy access free parking and diverse patrons, you couldn't ask for a better community spot. Thank you to the wonderful staff there was well.

Yelp
I have been wanting to try this place for a long time, I finally got the TIME and OPPORTUNITY to do so and I'm glad I did. I Tried the Philly cheesesteak egg rolls based off of a recommendation from my friend. The Philly cheesesteak egg rolls were delicious, especially with the sauce they give you. There were so many things on the menu I could have tried and would love to try in the future. I was definitely pleased with my food. The service at the counter and inside was ok. After sitting and eating the place got pretty packed quickly. This restaurant is good for vegans & non vegans because they have another restaurant attached called Phlavz, that is popular among non vegans/non vegetarians. My friend tried their salmon & waffles and loved it. Definitely check them out! The decor is nice, Love the concept & happy that they are fulfilling a need!

Irene Kitty L.

Yelp
I am a breast cancer survivor and have decided to become a pescatarian and eliminate meat. I will try and have as much vegan as possible but sometimes I will have fish and seafood. So when my hubby suggested this place, I was very excited to try. The place was super cute!!! They have a Louis Vuitton wall that is just adorable!!!! The food was fantastic! I ordered the vegan egg omelette with vegan cheese and omg it was sooooo good with some potatoes. I would definitely try again!

Denise R.

Yelp
Good food and nice vibe. We got there about an hour before closing, thought it would've been a long wait but wasn't too bad. Would definitely go back when visiting Chicago.

Andy F.

Yelp
The food is outrageous. Legit incredible. Do NOT overlook this place. Service and atmosphere are awesome too. Five stars. Easily. Not a single complaint.

Ellie G.

Yelp
Great fast food for vegans and vegetarians. Even meat eaters liked it. Good options.

Victoria R.

Yelp
Top Nit h Vegan fare. That's right Ladies and Gentleman! But,...be careful because there are two restaurants cohabitating under one roof so be sure to order from the right menu.

Tigra C.

Yelp
I wasn't impressed with the food or the service here. It was confusing and the employees couldn't care less to assist you, as they chatted and joked amongst themselves. Pop's Big Fish Sandwich - Not a big deal, like at all. The fish looked VERY similar to Gardein fillets, which you can get at any Target/Wally World/supermarket's frozen section. It was ok, but disappointing, taste-wise. Boneless Wings - I requested the sweet heat sauce and was given buffalo (and the worker rang it up as buffalo, despite repeating "sweet heat" back to me. The wings were fine, but it's not the sauce I wanted. Their buffalo sauce has zero spice, to my dismay. EPITOME BERRY SHAKE - Delicious! I wish it came in a large. I always end up licking the cup. Yum!

Sherry J.

Yelp
Food was pretty good. We enjoyed the egg rolls more than anything. We aren't vegan (pescatarian) and wanted to try something new. I'm pretty familiar with vegan meats but this had a taste I could not pinpoint; the gyro and pizza puff almost tasted overly salty. The tzatziki sauce on the gyro was too watery for my liking and lacking flavor. Fries were good. We also got a jug of the "lemonade" and it was grossly overpriced ($10). It tasted more like koolaid than lemonade. The restaurant was nicely decorated and spacious enough for a couple decent groups.

Phillip B.

Yelp
I eat pizza puffs growing up in my non vegan years and this brought back so much nostalgia! It was fire and it was hard to believe it's vegan but this was fire! If you want that classic pizza puff you can't miss with this one! The service was nice and friendly and the ambiance is great

Alexander M.

Yelp
Sierra was a great host. Warm atmosphere for families. I took a trip to nostalgia lane and the menu is veganized all your traditional favorites like hot dogs, burgers, pizzas, Vegan BLT and even shakes! Ooowee blast from the past.

Chris D.

Yelp
THE FOOD ! Fire!! my wife is vegetarian and she loves this place . I'm not a vegetarian and i love this place ! The service top notch ... very polite and friendly. Great music very crowded but I'm not surprised place is awesome

Nick J.

Yelp
Let down by this restaurant. Their social media for sure hypes this place up more than what it really is. This restaurant feels more like a place for people to go and take photos of the food and of the restaurant than it is to enjoy the food. All the food was "meh" and did not have much seasoning. Not a place for people who go out to eat for the flavor of food. I would say this is a place for non-vegans to go to to post on their social media saying they went to a vegan restaurant. Also, the prices are incredibly high for the amount of food you receive. I will not be returning nor would I recommend this place. The restaurant did have a nice ambiance to it and the staff are friendly.

Rue N.

Yelp
Continuing on my tour of vegetarian eateries in the south suburbs, I went to CBINM for my final meal before leaving town. Note: it's one storefront housing two restaurants, one vegetarian/vegan and the other with meat options. I went with the Philly egg rolls and fries and chocolate chip cookies. My fried ordered the Big Mik and a strawberry cupcake. Everything tasted good. Really enjoyed the egg rolls and the fries were fantastic. Loving all the vegan options around and I'll be back next time I'm in Orland

Howard L.

Yelp
If you want an amazing place for vegans, vegetarians or even if you want to experiment with something new. This place has amazing foot traffic. Lines are long and people really love this food and I didn't know about this until pulled into the parking lot after passing it up plenty of times. Their burgers were absolutely amazing, thankful they came with a side of fries which are also made very well. Great smoothies too. I love their interior and the warmth and vibe this place offers. Just because of how busy this place is, it may take a while to get your food. Overall I'm happy I found this place. I would love for them to keep expanding. Please come to the Joliet area simply because it lacks restaurants Like these!

William D.

Yelp
The food and service were great. Stopped in here before going to the concert. Well worth the visit. Parking lot is a little tight

Shay J.

Yelp
The words have not even been invented yet to describe this experience! This is a place you can go with your vegan or vegetarian or pescatarian or even your "flexitarian" buddies (that's a person that eats meat but dabbles in the plant based life--not my word, Thanks, Chef Fab for that term). I am on vacation in Illinois and I saw a video posted by Tabitha Brown about this place, and honey...I am glad I stopped by. These Philly steak egg rolls are nothing short of amazing. It has that traditional egg roll crunch, but that Cheesesteak filling hits your taste buds and you are not sure if you are having an out of body experience! And it has this sweet chili sauce that you don't think complements a Philly cheesesteak and somehow it does!! I wish there were a word greater than "WOW" to explain this! If you are ANYWHERE in near or close to the STATE of Illinois--make the journey here. Confession: I came her last night for the Big Mik burger, and it was so good--I returned for another one...and TWO TIMES, a tear welled up in my eye! And you are telling me this is VEGAN? Baby, yes!! It's has been referred to as a spin on the Big Mac, but that restaurant can't even be in the same stratosphere as this sandwich.

Smitty W.

Yelp
the best vegan breakfast burritos that youll ever have. outstanding food and service. a most definitely must try if you're vegan.

Chantal A.

Yelp
My, my, my all I can say is this establishment did not disappoint! My partner is a vegan chef and he was even impressed. The pizza was good but that sweet steak took home the prize! It was well prepared and wasn't that sweet. The cupcake that I ordered was a hidden gem as well. I was disappointed that I only purchased one. We are visiting from Miami and finding this establishment made me reconsider moving back home. Maybe a summer condo so I can have the best of both worlds. This is restaurant is a win for the vegan community in Chicagoland!

Jay Ef Jai ..

Yelp
This place can be better and I will express why. But before I start I would like to make one thing clear: I am not using this review to promote other products. I am just using the products as examples. 1) If you are named "Can't Believe It's Not Meat" then whatever I taste should never make me want the meat product. The items did not make me do that. 2) The Big Mik (I guess their version of a Big Mac) resembled a Big Mac in the looks dept. but it came up way short as far as tasting like one. A Big Mac has onions on it's burger. Where were mine??? 3) The pizza poof (I guess their version of a pizza puff) only has to do one thing: taste like a pizza puff. It lacked any Italian seasoning or ingredients of a pizza puff. And once again, it sure did resemble a pizza puff. A real pizza puff doesn't have greens in it either. Oh well :-( Good fries, though, (free with an entree) so all was not lost. After standing in a long line, reading all the accolades and press that owner has received (which I should not have been doing, but that is how long it took for me to receive my food) and paying a whopping $40 for 2 items, I can honestly say I won't be back. My mother always says "fool me once, your fault, fool me twice, my fault" and as Luther Vandross (R.I.P.) sung, I... "Don't Want To Be a Fool"

Jim C.

Yelp
Clean establishment, friendly workers, but most importantly, the meal I had was incredible. Meatless Philly cheesesteak. Don't be fooled, there was plenty of grub under the lettuce and tomato. Should have taken a better photo. Definitely will be coming back for meatless options.

Donna S.

Yelp
Stopped in for a quick bite and a lemonade. The cashier said "ice is $1 per cup" WHERE THEY DO THAT! This is exactly why black businesses are not successful, PETTY! We come to support you, and this is what we get total lack of courtesy. Instead of spending time trying to figure out how to nickel and dime your people , try putting your energy into running an efficient business. The young lady at the next table had to take her food back twice because they got her order wrong. Help us to help you by extending us, the courtesy of doing what's right when we spend our hard earned dollar with you. It's 1000 restaurants in the vicinity, we chose yours treat us as though you appreciate our coins. Get your crap together stop asking people to pay you for a cup of ice when they're buying food and drinks!

Eileen T.

Yelp
Super clean and super friendly staff! My favorite is the vegan pizza puff...bring me back to my childhood. So good!

Brownie T.

Yelp
Amazing food! Got a variety of items so we could try a number of things. Service was great, they gave great suggestions. Food was piping hot and delicious. Would highly recommend, food, service and ambiance was outstanding! Can't wait to go back!

Jaclyn W.

Yelp
First time trying this place and it was decent. We ordered the Big Mik, which is a vegan Big Mac. It was ok, thought it lacked a little flavor. Fries were good The Philly sandwich is good. I enjoyed all the veggies on top and it was seasoned well. Fries were good. The Cookie Monster shake was really delicious. This was probably my favorite part of the whole meal. The pink juice is super overpriced. It's $5 for some strawberry lemonade that tasted like a .99 cent lemonade from Walmart. Definitely not worth it. We spent almost $50 on our meal. I think the prices are pretty high, but they get a lot of business so people are willing to pay. I did hear other people complaining about the prices.

Krystal J.

Yelp
After seeing @Blackpeopleeats post about this place for months on IG I was finally able to try it! Upon entry we were greeted by who I believe was the owner and she was awesome. It was our first time and she recommended some popular items and they did not disappoint. I haven't had a pizza puff since I had transitioned to a vegetarian lifestyle around 10 years ago. We were so impressed it tasted exactly as I remembered. Everything was so tasty and the menu was huge! I can't wait to come back and try some more items. We also tried the hulk smoothie as well as the chocolate chip cookies; delish.

Steve A.

Yelp
As the name of this place says, I just can't believe it. Can't Believe It's Not Meat is one of these all vegetarian places that are popping up everywhere lately. It has a few locations including this one in Orland Park. High prices are the only bad thing you'll get. There's pretend versions of burgers, hot dogs, and more. Going through this area we searched for vegan options and this was at the top of the list so we got here. It looks a lot like a fast food place. There's a counter to order at and they call your name to come pick your order up. Line wasn't that long but it still was a bit of a wait to get food. The cooking process is slower than fast food so don't be fooled by the looks, they actually do real cooking here. We went and placed orders. For drinks we chose the smoothies which all sounded good. It's $7.75 for most smoothies. These are a pretty big size so it's a good price for these. I had an Anti Bad Vibes Smoothie. It's made with blueberries, house lemonade, raspberries, and strawberries. This ironically failed to get rid of my bad vibes. I had a Hoagie Sub to eat. It's $8.50 for just a hoagie. This has smoked hickory vegan lunch meat on French bread, with choice of cheese, deli oil, giardiniera peppers, green peppers, onions, and tomatoes. It's vegan if you substitute the cheese. This is an additional charge, and this is how things add up. Be careful what you add. That already expensive meal will cost even more. She had some fake chicken sandwich that smelled good. This was about the same price as a hoagie. Expensive but she says it was good. The prices are too high but you can't deny people like eating this kind of stuff. Has so much vegan food to choose from. It has options that before were impossible to get, like egg rolls made without eggs, and pizza puffs. The prices are very high for what looks like fast food but believe it has much better taste.

Jazabel C.

Yelp
I wish they would bri g this out to the Naperville area. This place is absolutely amazing. I would definitely recommend coming in and trying the Big Mac. They have delicious fries too. I will be returning!

Sonia R.

Yelp
Wow wow wow! The place is so nice and decorated with people from OUR City!!! The product placement is nice and clean! they even make Lemonade!!! I had the egg rolls vegan with fries and let me tell you it was FIREEEEE! You wouldn't even know it's vegan. Def coming back to eat other items in the menu. The staff was very friendly and attentive.

Christeen B.

Yelp
This is the place of all places which both my husband and I give a 5 star rating with much respect! At the moment I entered this location for the very 1st time, I was greeted with smiles, courtesy and joy. When people are genuinely happy to assist you with ordering a meal, that's the place for me. From the menu selections to the menu suggestions, the workers are very knowledgeable!!! They not only asked what we like to eat, they were sure about what we would love to eat off the menu. And I tell you. The name of this restaurant is definitely represented well through every delicious bite. I Can't Believe It's Not Meat ranks #1 on my recommendation list.

DaVaughna D.

Yelp
Visited the Orland Park location while attending a networking event in Joliet. The location was easy locate and was well decorated and packed with people eating. This location has two restaurants in one so ensure that you go to the register on the right closest to the coolers (should have this displayed upon entry instead of on top of the cooler where it is hard to see). Service was excellent as well as the resturants atmosphere. I ordered for 3 people and we all enjoyed our food so much that we returned the next day to purchase more. The vegan turkey club and vegan lasagna and pizza puff were my favorite! The food is expensive but was worth it! If Franchise in OH ever present itself, look no further!

Christina M.

Yelp
Stopped here after school to treat my little girl to a shake before her music lesson. I've been here before so I didn't even look at the menu but had a feeling it hasn't changed. it hasn't. Ordered two shakes and grabbed a bag of what looked like home baked chocolate chip cookies. These 3 items were close to $30. Yep $30 but I'm already all in. Cookie shake: tasted like it had freezer burn plus the essence of any freezer food that had been sitting too long, picking up flavors of other surrounding freezer foods. Discerning 7year daughter took two tastes and delivered remaining to trash. Bag of "ChipsAhoy"cookies: if you like store-bought Cookies that seem to be relabeled and sold at a higher price ... lol ... then these are for you. Eeeee I cant believe these are some of the worst cookies .... I expected these to taste a bit fresher and better quality. I didn't know I could find such an unfavorable cookie. eeeee. I give two stars only because I'm hopeful and I want this small business to thrive.

Ebonique W.

Yelp
The staff was so friendly and helpful on the holiday. And the food was delicious...I can't get a good picture because my food is halfway gone already. I'd recommend the soul egg rolls, catfish and grits, the sweet potatoes... actually everything was great!

Maggie C.

Yelp
I was sold on this place from the moment I walked in! It's so cute!! It has the instagram worthy picture spots!! It's easy to navigate and has the most polite people working there! Our food was prompt and we had water while waiting. I bought some soft chocolate chip cookies that were delicious and had the shrimp po boy. I'll be talking about this place for a long time and am going to come back every time I visit in Orland park!!!

Ruth F.

Yelp
Other reviews note this place is a little expensive, which is true. However they have a two page menu and you can get all the things vegetarians can't other places - gumbo, buffalo chicken, French dips, etc. For an old-school vegetarian, this is extremely exciting. Your choice of vegan cheese (didn't try it) or dairy. We got the pepperoni/sausage pizza; a chili dog; gumbo; a buffalo chicken wrap; and a smoothie. They told me 15-20 minutes and came through. I probably wouldn't get the pizza again; $24 for a medium pizza is a bit much and it was only so-so. Dairy cheese appeared to be a cheddar/white cheese (not mozzarella) mix so it didn't stretch right and the house-made sauce was a bit sweet. My companion noted he really liked the crust. It came with garlic bread (not toasted); both it and the hot dog bun were very old-school Wonder Bread-soft. We both liked the chili dog (the relish, unlike the Portillo's version, is not neon green); the gumbo is best enjoyed hot but was nice (more okra would be good); and I really liked the buffalo chicken wrap, though I'm not usually a big buffalo fan: nice mix of textures, sauce hit just right. The smoothie was fine, but when I come here, I'll probably concentrate on the stuff I can't get anywhere else (patty melts, French dips, etc.). As noted elsewhere, line for the vegetarian food is on the right (the people taking your order will happily tell you); grab a menu and browse. I was here mid-December and even though it's in a mall, it's on the edge, so you're spared any craziness and parking was available. At about 3pm on a rainy day, no line to speak of but plenty of folks chowing down. 4 stars for food (eat it hot if you can; I got take-out); 5 for selection.

Yelp
House lemonade . Honestly the flavor of my birria/chick tacos was fire too but for my first time I thought I'd have a better experience. All of my tacos were thrown in to the box and I had to grab a fork to put it back in the shells, let alone the shells were mad soggy as soon as I got it, overall I won't knock the recipe definitely good but the chefs need to tighten up!

Yelp
We ordered the Philly egg rolls & chicken Philly and today it just was not good at all. I don't like to bash black owned restaurants because I love us, but idk food seems to just be going downhill. If you love yourself do not order any vegan cheese on anything.. it overpowers the food because it has such a weird overpowering flavor. I've also been vegan almost 10 years so I don't think I'm being picky either.. just honest The chicken Philly also used to be actual chopped chicken pieces like a regular Philly... idk if the chef was feeling lazy AF or if they just don't care but it was actual like big pieces of chicken slapped on there?? Huh.... as a vegan texture is everything.. like chop the damn chicken please haha And mild sauce, mind you, a little ass cup of it is 1.50! It used to be 1.00 which was already crazy. Idk used to love them but they hit or miss and I'm tired of them missing cause my money be hitting they account!!

Yelp
Congratulations, seriously, congrats!! I CAN'T BELIEVE how good your food is.....y'all did it!! This is vegan food on another level. It's been 15 yrs since I have had a patty melt or a pizza puff and now I can get them, in all their greasy goodness, whenever I want! I'm so grateful that you are here in my neighborhood. Even the fries are crispy, flavorful and fantastic. Service was great too. This isn't healthy vegan food by any means haha I hope everyone knows that going in. But it's d*mn good!! While I was in line, other customers were telling me that I need to try their pizza and their philly cheese steak. Ok, I will certainly be back for that. Thank YOU!

Yelp
It's not every day a vegan/vegetarian can mozy on up to a counter and order a Big Mac. In this case, it is entirely possible. Called the Big Mic, this sandwich packs quite a punch with it's double patty zestiness. Two vegan patties sandwiches between lettuce, onion, pickle, and special sauce on a sesame bun, I experienced fond memories of my youth eating an actual Big Mac. Paired with their cook to order fresh fries, this meal is designed in order to accommodate a very large appetite. As I first entered this establishment I was greeted with an upbeat playlist and friendly workers. I Can't Believe It's Not Meat also house Phlavz in the same building. Know which cash register to go to! I placed my order and they took down my phone number so that they would text me when my order was ready. Very convenient and helpful! 15 minutes later and my cook to order meal was ready! I Can't Believe It's Not Meat is definitely on the pricey side. $15 plus tax for a burger and fries seems a bit excessive. However, it being woman owned and operated somewhat justified the cost as I am always more than willing to support these types of businesses. Next on my list to try is the Hold Up Wait a Minute Philly Cheesesteak!

Yelp
Food here was so incredible! Staff and service was amazing, and the entire environment of the restaurant was not only super gorgeous, but also really inviting. Absolutely love the green velvet seating! I got the BIRRIA tacos, and I'm from California where Mexican food is poppin' off all over the state. It is so hard however to find a tasty and authentic vegan version of BIRRIA out in CA. This place did amazing! So much flavor in their consomme. The buffalo pizza was also so delicious and the vegan proteins were perfectly on point. Will definitely visit again!!

Yelp
Ordered takeout today and really enjoyed my meal. We had the burger and pizza puff. The pizza reminded me of the good old chicago deep fried pizza puff, this puff was good, fried and seasoned well but it just was not like the original. The burger was seasoned well, had loads of veggies and a good sauce, the meat was softer than regular burger meat but still good. Overall good food, great service and good location. I will be back soon.
