"Adjacent to the Mercedes-Benz stadium, the new Signia by Hilton boasts five restaurants and bars, but Capolinea, the Italian signature, is the one not to be missed. The food is matched by the atmosphere as a whole: the attentive service, the close-up view of the stadium and the West End, and the martini cart are all more than enough to impress diners and aesthetes alike. New menu standouts by chef Christopher Li include steaks, pizzas, and handmade pastas, like Tagliatelle Alle Vongole with littleneck clams and a spicy, spreadable salami, or Funghi Al Forno with roasted oyster mushrooms and polenta, and Neapolitan pizzas proofed over two days. "Capolinea in Downtown Atlanta at the Signia by Hilton hotel has sweeping views of the Mercedes-Benz stadium and has quickly become a favorite for its pasta. Chef de cuisine Christopher Li is making a variety of seasonal antipasti, pizza, and pasta dishes. Try the simple but hearty Spaghetti Al Pomodoro in which the sugo di pomodoro (tomato sauce) is cooked for eight hours and topped with basil and 30-month-aged Parmesan. Thankfully, you only have to take a few steps and a trip up to the fourth floor to get to Capolinea. And that’s great news because the red sauce restaurant serves fantastic tableside martinis that you’ll want to come back for every opportunity you can.
