All-day menus of elevated comfort fare & drinks in a contemporary setting with stylish interiors.
"Located inside of The Carpenter Hotel—a place that feels like a Wes Anderson interpretation of a woodworker's home—Carpenters Hall is an all-day cafe serving “elevated comfort fare,” which mostly translates to pancakes, burgers, and avocado toasts. As long as you’re OK with paying a small design premium to sit in the dining room or on the picturesque patio, we have yet to eat a bad bite here. Afterward, you can even purchase a pool pass and keep the water party going if your fingers don’t already look like the raisins in your granola bowl." - nicolai mccrary, matthew jacobs
"This cute Zilker hotel has a great, industrial-chic restaurant with a truly Austin patio that takes inspiration from the Mediterranean and utilizes Texas ingredients. Look for dishes like Hill Country crudite with local vegetables, dill ranch, and a chipotle pecan hummus; wagyu tartare; and roasted lamb with mango chutney. For drinks, try the Labor of Love with clarified cranberry rum and orgeat or the Beet of My Drum with beet and basil tequila." - Taylor Tobin, Eater Staff
"The Zilker hotel restaurant within the Carpenter Hotel is offering an all-day prix fixe menu for Thanksgiving. It’s $69 for the meat-centric meals per person (with an add-on for the ribeye option); $45 for the vegetarian meal; $35 for children under the age of 12; and $6 per additional side. There are also wine pairings available. It’s available from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Book reservations online; there are indoor and outdoor dine-in services." - Nadia Chaudhury
