Don’t be fooled by social media!
The setting and view are undeniably stunning — but that’s where the appeal ends. This restaurant is a classic case of style over substance, and absolutely not worth the hunger-games battle for a reservation.
After a week of trying, we finally secured a 3pm slot and arrived early to spend the day at the nearby beach (not recommended unless you bring a mattress!). We showed up at 2:50 only to queue for over 30 minutes, during which some diners gave up and left. Many were unhappy with their seating.
We were lucky to get a front-row table, but if we hadn’t, there would’ve been nothing redeeming. Service was rushed, drinks had to be chased multiple times, and food was disappointing — chewy octopus, bland prawns, and oily chips.
For 3 starters, 1 main, bread, and two soft drinks, we paid £150. Given the poor food and service, you’re really just paying for the view.
