We stayed at Casa de Uco as part of our first trip to Argentina. We were extremely delighted with all aspects of what the resorts offered. ||We are a family of 5 and were put in a beautiful 3-bedroom house on-site. The house was fully equipped and had all the facilites that we could imagine! The resort staff were extremely helpful, courteous and knowledgeable. They really went the extra mile! This was despite us staying over the Christmas break (24 - 27th Dec). ||The resort offers stunning views of the Andes and a variety of activities, including horse riding, cycling, winery tours and wine tasting, not to mention the delicious food and the traditional Asado! ||I could not recommend it strongly enough. If you decide to stay, I hope you enjoy it as much as we did!

This hotel and restaurant is a modernist but not minimalist beauty in the heart of its own vineyards in the Uco valley. Backdrop is a stunning section of the Andes and a huge view of the Patagonian steppe. Not so much do on the site, but lovely place to relax. And a drive/into the mountains if you're feeling energetic. Hotel is luxurious and house wines are of course excellent.

Casa de Uco is a fantastic place to stay! We stayed only 3 nights but wished we’d added a few more days. We had the 2 bedroom villa and it was one of most beautiful places we’ve ever stayed. Floor to ceiling windows overlooking the vineyards and Andes. We could not get enough of the views! The food was fantastic. It was literally farm to table as they have a garden that grows much of their vegetables and fruits. Only breakfast is included but this allows you to take on adventures outside the property. Their cooking class was also a lot of fun as it was outside on the grills so you experience their traditional way of cooking. Finally the staff were amazing! They really cared and provided a personal experience!!

We had lunch at Casa De Uco. The lunch was in a very beautiful and somewhat formal inside dining area with a beautiful view. Staff were very attentive and the food was delicious although quite expensive. We had just come from another wine tasting, so only had one glass of rosé each. The wine was excellent as well. This was a good and tasty experience, but we enjoy the slightly less formal vineyards a little more.

Our family had an exceptional stay from the seamless check-in to a smooth, hassle-free checkout. The staff were warm and welcoming, making us feel right at home. Delightful meals and fine wine and free wine tasting!!. The scenery is postcard perfect everywhere you look. Our room was spacious, immaculate, and comfortable, adding to the relaxing, calming ambiance. There are several complimentary activities onsite — wish we had stayed longer to enjoy all of them. Highly recommend!

Beautiful place with excellent service. We really enjoyed our stay! The people working there could not have been nicer! There are a lot of fun activities, such as archery and winetasting and horseback riding as well as a spa. Definitely a highlight for a trip.

Casa de Uco's location is all about the views. If you want somewhere that is very central for experiencing all the different areas of Mendoza's wine region, the drives from Casa de Uco could start getting a little long. But if you are happy visiting some of the closer ones (and there are several), then the location and views here really make it worth it. We had stayed 2 nights in Lujan de Cuyo and then travelled on to Casa de Uco - this is a great way to do it if you have the time. The service is also outstanding - we received a great deal of help before we arrived to make sure that our trip was planned perfectly, and the staff were super friendly and attentive once we were there too, helping us to plan a couple of last minute activities. The food at breakfast and dinner was great. The massage in the spa was very relaxing - they use some lovely essential oils. We did both the sunrise hike and the sunrise horse-riding, and would highly recommend both. The hotel also arranged all our transfers at our request and provided a full printed itinerary to help us stay on top of everything. The rooms are very comfortable, we loved the balcony on ours. Being able to walk around the vineyards at different times of the day is really special as well.

This is easily one of THE BEST HOTELS I have ever stayed at. The consistency and care of their staff is 10/10. There is no need to go anywhere else when staying in Mendoza. They can support all the activities you care to engage in on or off property!

Yelp
My partner and I stayed at Casa de Uco for two nights, and overall, of all the hotels around the world that I've stayed in, this is the best hotel I have ever stayed at. What's more, this day was completely serendipitous - we did not have reservations, but we were staying in Lujan de Coyo about 45 minutes north and we asked for hotel where we should stay for the next night and they recommended this hotel. They were able to negotiate us a pretty good rate, around $310 a night. The welcome was very nice and personal, and one of the managers took us all around the property including the spa and pool and then showed us to our room. The hotel itself only has 16 rooms, but it has anything you would want from a larger hotel without all the people. The design is architecturally beautiful with a modern yet classic design. The sunrise filters directly into the hallways, and we could see the pink sunrise (that lasts for about two minutes) directly from our room. The views from the hotel no matter where you are are just amazing and unforgettable. The room itself was on the smaller size but not cramped. The room was very modern, since the hotel is so new, and every design element has been thought about. The hotel soaps were very nice and I loved that the shower look directly onto the Uco Valley. The service was also very good - they were able to book us tours and tastings at wineries that they recommended for us. We said we didn't want to go to just the big tourist wineries but the places that they themselves would go, and they succeeded in that mission. Especially since the hotel is well-known, it's best to have a concierge call for you as opposed to you trying to do it all yourself. The spa was a small by huge hotel standards, but considering that the hotel is not large, it was very adequate. There's also a game room with a pool table and TV if you have a larger group. I don't have enough superlatives for this hotel. I love it, and I certainly would return. It's definitely out-of-the-way, but this part of Mendoza, the Uco Valley, it's so beautiful, as is this hotel.

Yelp
There's basically 2 really high end places to stay in the Uco Valley. We didn't stay here, (stayed at the other place) but we did come here for a fantastic lunch and wine pairing, with gorgeous views! Definitely a beautiful property, and worth a lunch at least! We found the staff to be pleasant and friendly, and we were able to customize the menu a bit for our liking. The bill wasn't paid by us, so I can't comment on pricing, but I imagine it's not terribly cheap lol.

Yelp
IS THIS PLACE HEAVEN!? HONESTLY AMAZING. The keys on my keyboard have no way of sufficiently explaining that a dream this place was. My Husband and I spent one of our honeymoon nights here and it was truly the #1 night of our 2 week trip. First of all, it is breathtaking. The views from this spot are amazing. Initially we were staying closer to the city of Mendoza but I am SO grateful we took the drive to Casa de Uco. It was completely worth it if even only for the views of the Andes. There is even a little glass room that has a couch where you can take in all the beautiful vistas of the mountain. The staff was also incredible. When we arrived we had no plans for the next few days so we asked the staff if they had any recommendations. By the time we came down for dinner they had booked us 4 winery tours, 2 lunches and a dinner! And each of those reservations panned out amazingly! You dont often find that kind of hospitality in the states. There was also so much to do around Casa De Uco. We went on an awesome horseback ride around the grounds and our guide Martin was so fun to hang with! They gave us some really great wine as a gift for our special occasion. There is also a game room with some books and a pool table which we played for a bit while we waited for dinner.

Yelp
The scenery at Casa de Uco is beautiful. Our stay was serene and a great last stop on our Argentina honeymoon. The place was a little disorganized though and we felt like it was a con job how we prepaid and yet they tried to double charge for just about Avery activity we did. My favorite parts of the stay were the massages and the outdoor barbecue. It was fun meeting other travelers during our stay. As far as the wine goes, it was really special to tour the vineyards but my favorite wines were at other nearby wineries. The hubby enjoyed archery and we both thought the food was decent!

Yelp
The hotel was very clean and quaint, but because everything is so remote in the area, we felt a little isolated especially because we unfortunately had poor weather during our stay, which put a damper on the views and outdoor activities. The staff was extremely warm and accommodating with the exception of the American woman who runs the hotel who for some reason was not friendly at all and gave off a rude vibe. The meals were quite good but as mentioned above, we felt a bit stuck in one spot and wished the menu had more variety to keep things interesting during our stay. It's difficult and expensive to get cab rides outside of the premises so plan ahead!

Yelp
I ate at the restaurant but I didn't stay here. Incredibly frustrated. My husband and I ordered bottled water as we were visiting from the US. After drinking most of our water bottles we realized the glass bottles we were served didn't have caps on them when they were served to us, and they read "con gas" on the bottles and we were drinking still water....which means they gave us tap water in an old bottle.. We also ordered red wine, grilled peaches, a salad and a chicken breast to split. Ended up being violently ill for the remainder of my vacation and threw up for 4 days. Assuming from the tap water we were served..... even though we ordered bottles. Eat here with caution.

Yelp
This resort is breathtaking. The views of the Andes and the vineyards are amazing. The rooms are beautiful, and the staff is friendly. We had dinner at the hotel restaurant and it was fabulous. It is a quiet, serene place to visit. The hiking tour and horseback riding through the vineyard was a great experience. We plan to go again!

Yelp
Setting is outstanding but hotel is sub par. Our "suite" had no dressing area, sitting area or bathtub as described on its web site. Marcella, who greeted us, made us feel like she was doing us a favor. Her demeanor was less than welcoming. Most of the front desk staff was unhelpful or unknowing. This place is a 1.5 hour drive into the heartland. One day, they just closed the dining room for a 7pm sunset dinner. We were told that we could order bar food to our room if we didn't want the sunset dinner. Housekeeping was poor, at best. The windows did not work. The air conditioning gave us heat and had to be repaired. The bathroom literally stunk. The personal wine tasting was a scam to offer us our own acre vineyard for only $150,000.00. Hail covering was an extra. There was a disgusting rug on the floor in our room. Finally, the reading light on one side of bed could not be turned off. Avoid this place at all costs.
