Miami’s New Restaurant Openings

"This Mexican restaurant from Toronto is in the middle of all the fork lifts and illegally parked cars in Wynwood. Hopefully the aguachile, tacos, and chicken milanese are better than the ones in LA." - mariana trabanino

A Ritzy Bi-Level Mexican Restaurant With a Private Pool Debuts in Wynwood - Eater Miami

"Casa Madera, located at 255 NW 25th Street directly above Sparrow Italia, is Noble 33's second Miami venture. Executive chef Abelardo “Tito” Vargas leads the kitchen, serving a menu that blends traditional Mexican techniques with modern touches and an emphasis on seafood. Dishes include starters like casa guacamole topped with tajin-dusted mango and ceviche blanco made with white fish and citrus pepitas. The raw bar serves selections like hamachi serrano and tuna timbale with truffle ponzu, while tacos come filled with ingredients like wild mushrooms, tiger shrimp, or A5 wagyu skirt steak. Larger plates include dover sole with chile de arbol and a casa tomahawk steak. The beverage program, overseen by Noble 33 beverage director Juan Carlos Santana, features an extensive selection of tequilas, mezcals, and wines alongside cocktails made with fresh produce. Notable drinks include the Cielo Nocturno with white aperitivo, peach, and prosecco topped with peach air and the Quintana Roo with a choice of mezcal or tequila infused with blue spirulina, lime, and agave. The 17,660-square-foot restaurant spans two floors, with a main dining room, bar, and lounge on the lower level, and a more casual indoor-outdoor lounge and a 4,280-square-foot members-only rooftop deck on the upper level. Designed by ICRAVE, the space features light plaster walls, grained wood furniture, and greenery, with upholstery and drapes in beachy ivory tones. The restaurant plans to feature local and international DJs, performance artists, and live musicians nightly. Opening hours are Wednesday and Thursday from 5:30 p.m. to 11 p.m., Friday and Saturday from 5:30 p.m. to midnight, and Sunday from 5:30 p.m. to 11 p.m. Reservations available up to 21 days in advance." - Olee Fowler

Lovely ambiance and low mood lighting. The DJ and guitarist performing live were a nice touch to the vibe. The sole was fantastic and the truffle fries were great too, though the portion was rather small. Best bite was the tres leches for dessert! I suggest pre drinks elsewhere as paying $30+ for a cocktail in Wynwood is asinine.

Google
Not your traditional Mexican cuisine! There is an almost tropical flare to all of the dishes. We were pleasantly surprised by the vibes and live music in addition to the food. Forgot to take photos of every dish, but the tacos, salad, steak are must try

Google
Cute place, portions are very generous, and service was great! Very nice bar area and good music. Food itself was ok, unfortunately, most of it was too salty, which is not a great sign at the restaurant. Tacos were pretty good.

Casa Madera is an absolute gem! From the moment you step in, you’re transported to a dreamy Tulum-inspired paradise. The ambiance is stunning, with earthy tones, lush greenery, and a vibrant yet relaxed energy that makes it perfect for any occasion. The music was fantastic too—it perfectly complemented the vibe and added to the overall experience. Rami was phenomenal—his service was impeccable, and his food and drink recommendations were spot-on. He guided us through the menu with such enthusiasm, making the experience even more memorable. The food? Simply incredible. Every dish was bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. The drinks were creative, refreshing, and expertly crafted. Casa Madera has quickly become one of my favorite spots. If you’re looking for a place with great vibes, top-notch service, amazing music, and unforgettable food and drinks, this is it. I couldn’t have chosen a better restaurant to spend my birthday. Five stars all the way! Not all the food we ordered was photographed due everything being just absolutely delicious, but I attached a picture of our receipt with everything we did order (party of 4)

Google
This place is stunning. The service was great but could be more luxurious. The truffle burrata with honeycombs was delicious but I think the rest of the food was overpriced.

Google
This restaurant is an absolute experience for your senses. The design, the lighting, the service, the music, and even the silverware and dishes make you feel like you are dining in a Mayan paradise. The food and drinks are an absolute hit. I would recommend any of the starters, including the tacos. The steak with bone marrow was insane and the Dover Sole and seabass. The desserts are also must try. Just wow!

Google
Casa Madera in Miami blew me away! The service from John was top-notch, attentive and warm. Every dish was a hit, but the Hamachi, snapper, Yucatán salad, Wagyu, and short rib were unforgettable. And the desserts? Absolute perfection. Can’t wait to go back!

Yelp
Located inside Moxy hotel, the elevator ride transports you from Wynwood to Mexico in a matter of seconds. The smell of this place is amazing and the decor is beautiful. As delicious as the food was, the service here makes Casa Madera so special and standout from other establishments. Let's begin by how elegantly dishes are brought to your table with the finishing touches added in front of you and then, some items, like the salad and barbacoa wagyu were plated for you so that you could enjoy the first bite immediately. The margaritas are delicious, especially when adding the recommended hibiscus. Very refreshing. Here's what a table of three ordered to share: Starters -Black truffle burrata with honey served with warm tortillas -Tuna Timbale -Caesar salad Main -Wagyu Beef Short Rib Barbacoa -Broccolini and stewed corn Dessert -Espresso martini with horchata and a side of churros -Key lime We left more than satisfied with the overall experience and are already planning our next return.

Yelp
An amazing restaurant with excellent service and a perfect ambiance. Ideal for an intimate date night! It was the perfect way to kick off the New Year as a foodie! Parking: Convenient valet and street parking options available. Decor: Modern Bohemian Chic with a breathtaking view of the city skyline. It is absolutely stunning! Food: The Seafood Tower was delightful. Everything was fresh, including clams, oysters, hamachi, lobster, and shrimp. Arrachera tacos made with wagyu skirt steak were incredibly flavorful. The flaming branzino was perfectly flaky, fresh, and moist. The Wagyu NY Strip is tender and full of flavor, and paired well with rich bone marrow. Dessert: Both the tres leches and butter cake were heavenly! Overall, I loved everything about this place. Top-notch service, stunning ambiance, and outstanding cuisine. I'll definitely be back with a hot date!

Yelp
I was not expecting the food to be this good here since it's more of a trendy vibe but boy was I wrong! I started out with the mint tequila cocktail... wasn't crazy about it so switched to a spicy margarita. We started with the hamachi serrano (very fresh) and then the aguachile verde with shrimp which was delicious! Then we had the wagyu and sea bass tacos... both phenomenal! For entree we had the Dover sole (absolutely delicious) along with the sides that almost stole the show they were so good: street corn & mushroom carnitas. Do not skip the sides! They were so good! Lastly had the tres leche for dessert. It was decorated so pretty. It did remind me more of a combination of butter cake with tres leche but great nonetheless! Service could have been much better but I understand they are working out that new restaurant kink. The manager was extremely helpful when we asked to speak to him also! Will certainly be back!

Yelp
Amazing new restaurant in Wynwood, with great ambience around the bar and a live DJ playing some great music; and don't worry it's not that loud to disturb your meal or conversation. As for the service Rami was on top of everything, checking back on us and dropping recs about all things in the menu. We shared a couple of things, to which I would say that the prime angus beef was delicious, don't underestimate the burger and don't miss on ordering the burrata or the salads to share! Needless to say, it's a Miami restaurant if you know what I mean, so except to pay for it

Yelp
10/10 highly recommend!! Escape to Tulum in the middle of Wynwood. Located in the Moxy hotel, this place is ducked off and a pleasant surprise. Service - we had Rami and he was phenomenal! Consistently checking on us through the evening and provided awesome recommendations. Food - we tried the Caesar salad, shrimp and wagu tacos, and potato pave. Everything was excellent! Ambience - decor is typical of a Tulum themed restaurant but the live music brought it up a notch. At the end of the evening they bring a post card that can be used to send out. This was such a unique touch.

Yelp
Came for Golden Hour and had a great time. It's their version of happy hour. We had two drinks (very good), tacos (sea bass, chicken, and shrimp) and churros. The tacos were amazing. Flour tortillas, freshly made, and the proteins were so well seasoned. Some of the best tacos we've ever had. The churros were easily the best I've had, and they come with four sauces. This is my second visit here but first time eating. Would definitely revisit.

Yelp
Everything I had was ABSOLUTELY delish! The hospitality was also on point and really exceeded my expectations. I tried the guacamole, the burrata, and the arrachera tacos and everything tasted phenomenal. The upscale ambiance + music makes it the perfect date night spot or setting for a nice dinner with your girlfriends :) definitley a must try!!

Yelp
If you are looking for the laid-back energy of Tulum with the artistic pulse of Miami head out to Casa Madera in Wynwood. From the moment you step inside, you are greeted by "everyone". The restaurant itself instantly transports you to a beachside retreat. The aesthetic is stylish yet relaxed, with dim lighting and a chic, bohemian vibe that sets the tone for a memorable dining experience. They have live music which enhances the relaxed vibe of the space. It's the kind of place where you can unwind with friends over great food, sip cocktails, and not have to yell across the table to be heard. They specialize in coastal Mexican gastronomy, with a menu that celebrates fresh, high-quality ingredients and bold flavors. The dishes are inspired by the culinary traditions of Tulum with locally sourced ingredients. We had the Tuna Timbale and Mayan Hummus to start. The tuna was so fresh you could almost taste the salt water and the hummus was a big hit. My husband dislikes olives, so I didn't tell him that what he was folding into the hummus was Olive tapenade. He liked it so much he spread it on everything he could, even his main course. For our mains we had the Prime Black Angus Filet, Pistachio crusted Salmon, truffle fries and mushrooms. Everything was cooked to perfection amd the fries stole the show for me. They use use fresh truffle (not processed truffle oil) so you can actually taste the potato and have the hint of truffle. Desert was their take on key lime pie. The presentation was very unique and the flavor rivals all Key Lime pies I've had before. Our cocktails were a twist on gin and tonic and they were very smooth. The service is warm and attentive. Despite the high-energy environment, the team maintains a level of professionalism that ensures diners feel well taken care of throughout the evening. Sebastian, one of the managers, made his way around the restaurant, always attentive, but never intrusive. He was knowledgeable of the menu and quick to offer recommendations. Jon our host (because server does not do him justice) was funny but not obnoxious and attentive, but not bothersome. Casa Madera Wynwood is a must-visit spot for anyone seeking an immersive dining experience that combines exceptional coastal Mexican cuisine with a fun, laid-back ambiance. Whether you're in the mood for a casual night out with friends or a special evening filled with flavor and live music, Casa Madera delivers on both fronts. It's the perfect blend of Tulum vibes, Miami style, and mouthwatering gastronomy.

Yelp
The food is amazing, the service is amazing, the atmosphere is AMAZING. My favorite dish is the crab balls. Everything was made fresh. This restaurant is goodie heaven. Fresh fresh I love it! The tres leche is also my favorite, it was so flavorful & creamy.

Yelp
We were very excited to eat here and the menu looked really interesting. However .... We arrived and thought we had gone to the wrong restaurant. We arrived on Sunday at 7 pm and it was pitch black ( nightclub dark ) so dark that besides the DJ booth it was hard to see where you were walking. Speaking of the DJ booth , the music was so loud we had to shout to the hostess to be heard and could t even hear each other speak. We asked the manager to turn it down given it was a Sunday an early evening and he told us he couldn't because the DJ and guitar soloist cost him $2,000. Je acted as if it was absurd that an upscale Mexican restaurant on a Sunday should have anything besides bumping techno and pitch darkness. I hope this place learns it lesson and closes so a reasonable establishment can take its place. Not everyone in Miami wants to eat in a night club

Yelp
This is the sister restaurant sparrow down the block. It's located on the 7th floor. The space has a very nice ambiance overall great for a date night or group night out to get dressed up. Sat by the bar are the service was really good. The bar tenders and wait staff are very friendly. Overall the food is good but do be mindful of your budget.

Yelp
Just another overly expensive restaurant in a busy market. The food quality or presentation is not up to the price, in my opinion. Also not sure why people say this is a Tulum style restaurant. I'm not sure what they mean. Yes, the Toronto and Sunset Blvd (LA) locations are, but this one is not. The music is so so loud in a place that is enclosed, it becomes a nightclub. And the DJ playlist needs some upgrades. Drinks were good tho. All in all, not returning.

Yelp
AMAZING located in the heart of wynwood everything from the service, food and dessert was amazing. The vibes were giving honey very dim and sultry perfect for a date night! They even have valet parking for ten dollar right in the front and $6 / hr after that. The prices $$-$$$ if you're in wynwood I would definitely try this place! You won't be disappointed

Yelp
Casa Madera was amazing! A real pleasant surprise. The food was so incredible , the ambiance was lovely, the service was excellent. We were delighted. I'll definitely go back.

Yelp
Amazing experience. Very sexy vibe. Food was incredible. Highly recommend the sea bass tacos, wagu steak, oysters. Definitely just went top of the list for restaurants.

Yelp
Food is good. Ambiance great. You feel like Tulum vibes. If you are looking for a place to have a good talk or impress you should go. BE CAREFUL: we ordered some bottles of wine and our check had a price which was completely higher than the wine list. The guy taking care of us just said that was a system mistakenly charged us almost 200 dollars extra. So I highly recommend to check carefully your receipt. Never going back because even after this situation, nobody apologized to us or explained why this happened.
google avatar

Adnan V.

Yelp
The vibe of this place and the food is good! We spend about $300 for two people so everything has to be incredible! At first they tried to put us in this"private room" which honestly should not exist! Please guys if you're reading this get rid of that room! If you get put into the room you're getting downgraded in experience dramatically! Thankfully the manager Sebastian moved us to a table near the music and center of the place. If you're in the main dining area the place is really nice! I have a suggestion! Knock that wall down and upgrade the "private room" and make it really nice like a VIP area because right now it's horrible! The food was good the tacos were good the chicken Milanese was great and the salmon was great!
google avatar

Yelp
What an experience! There was not a single thing I ordered on the menu, I did not like. The Tulum vibe was also a great touch.

Yelp
Visit this place on a week day and was very pleasantly.. will definitely return. Food was great and place look and feel amazing

Yelp
A + Service I believe his name was Dan. Very knowledgeable very friendly and guided our whole experience. My wife and I will definitely be back !! Great music good vibes. Highly recommend !

Heidi C.

Yelp
Incredible ambience. Live music. Delicious food. I love the vibe and if you feel like getting up to dance, you can! The most central & wonderful views over cool & urban Wynwood. One of my favorite spots for sure. Try their cocktails at their beautiful bar, they are amazing! My favorite, a cooling spicy margarita I don't know how they make it so good! Great service to boot.

Joan D.

Yelp
Came here with a group of 6, service was incredibly slow. Servers were unenthusiastic... the guacamole portion didnt just taste mediocre but was REALLY small. What a rip off- please serve accordingly when serving a big party of table of 6. Other than that, youre paying the ambiance here, the music and decor was nice, the mezcal drinks were nice as well. Would I come back? No. Your portions are absurd for GROUPS. Come here on a date.

Mike B.

Yelp
Was hopeful for this place, but sadly won't be returning. The ambience was great, but it is ridiculously overpriced for what you get.

Elisa A.

Yelp
The food was great. Ambiance and service too. A little pricy for what it is but enjoyable.

Ronen D.

Yelp
Beautiful place, amazing ambience, fantastic DJs, acoustic best in business. You still hear the music and you can talk at the same time and to top it. All the food and service is exceptional.

Lorraine Z.

Yelp
The food was absolutely amazing. Service was top-notch and the ambience was super cool. Had a great night with good friends and amazing food.

Isabella E.

Yelp
I came here for my birthday and I had a decent experience. Food had good flavor but not sure if it's worth the price especially for portion of some. I ordered al pastor tacos, good flavor but $18 for 2 tacos. My friends ordered chicken milanese, pretty big i would say but $42 but no sides just 2 chicken breast; salmón $40+ by itself and almost $20 for a side. Drinks were $20+ they had good flavor. Guacamole $18 for the size of a Chipotle guac side with 3 plantain chips. The restaurant seemed to promote sharable meals but I personally like personal meal for the prize i'm paying. Each person was almost $100 with just meal and drinks and 1 app for the table. music was somewhat loud, a little heard to hear our waiter and speak at my table. Waiter was let known that it was my birthday and yet I had to order dessert. First restaurant i've been too that doesn't bring it out automatically (just found it strange in my opinion). they take a while to take your order got there at 8:30pm left at 12am. Place was very pretty and the ambience, a little confusing at first when you arrive upstairs bc there's no signange and seems packed at first by the bar area. Overall would rate 7.3/10.

Kelsey D.

Yelp
Guac was average. Tacos (waygu and al pastor) were not worth it. Definitely pass on those. I wish we got something off the raw menu to supplement the tacos. Waygu barbacoa ($91) was amazing. So worth it. Corn side was too citrusy so pass on that. Dessert was very good and wait staff was unbelievably amazing. The ambiance is also incredible. Great date night spot. Went on a Sunday though at 8pm and the place was completely empty.

Brittany G.

Yelp
Ambiance, service, food, drinks, views, and vibes 10/10/10s across the board. Thank ya!
