Brick-walled space for Mexican classics prepared by hand, plus margaritas on tap.
"Capacity: 25 (35 Standing) Tacos and tequila statistically make work functions better. So if you book the private room at Casco Antiguo, which is the perfect blend of corporate and fun, you’ll be the hero of the office." - aimee rizzo
"Casco Antiguo is a place where you can eat delicious pork enchiladas and tacos filled with marinated halibut and mint mojo. It works extremely well for a group hang after work, or the kind of lunch meeting where it’s also doubling as somebody’s birthday lunch or a team morale event—two situations where 12pm margaritas couldn’t hurt." - Aimee Rizzo
"Even if you don’t plan in advance and get a reservation, it’s usually easy to get a spot at the bar at Casco Antiguo, where you can eat some of Seattle’s best Mexican food in a space full of exposed brick, wood, and air plants. A big plate of fluffy fish tacos, plantain black bean empanadas, and braised pork enchiladas is perfect when a takeout burrito eaten on your couch just isn’t going to do the trick, and you could even do a coworker Happy Hour with chips and salsa before transitioning to a full dinner. Toast to your good decision with an on-tap margarita." - aimee rizzo
"Avoiding $11 servings of thimble-sized guacamole is a priority, but you still need a Mexican place with nice touches that your friend who takes her lifestyle blog seriously will appreciate. We challenge you to find a better Mexican spot for this situation than Casco Antiguo. Here, you’ll get on-tap margaritas for $8, substantial portions of things like braised pork enchiladas and beer-battered fish tacos for less than $20, and a space full of exposed brick, rustic wood, and plants. Read all about it on your friend’s blog." - aimee rizzo
"Amazon country is about to land some fantastic Mexican food. Casco Antiguo — which has built a strong following in Pioneer Square since 2015 for its plantain empanadas, braised beef tongue tacos, and margaritas on tap — will open a second Seattle location near the Amazon Spheres next Monday, July 15. The new space at 2102 7th Avenue has a rustic feel, with exposed brick walls, floor to ceiling windows, a patio with a view of the Spheres, and a mural painted by local artist Victor Melendez. It will also have the same food and drinks menu as the Pioneer Square spot, although the official Instagram page teased some new dishes, including squid tacos, roasted chicken, and shrimp in garlic gravy." - Gabe Guarente
