The Miami Smashburger Power Rankings - Miami - The Infatuation

"Celia’s just opened in Wynwood this month, and comes from the Dante's HiFi team (it's right next door too). Celia’s smashburger is refreshingly simple. The one burger option, offered as a single or double, comes with american cheese, pickles, onions, and a pink sauce that’s reminiscent of 1000 island dressing—all between toasted brioche potato buns. While it won’t be the smashburger you journal about, it’s still a good late-night bite after a few hours of head bobbing at Dante’s." - mariana trabanino, virginia otazo, ryan pfeffer

Miami’s New Restaurant Openings

"After pasta, smashburgers are the trend taking over Miami. Celia’s is another entry in Miami’s smashburger universe. The Wynwood spot is good for a late-night bite (but if you want truly excellent smashburgers, go to Cowy). " - mariana trabanino, virginia otazo

Celia's - Review - Wynwood - Miami - The Infatuation

"Miami is rich in two things: bros with podcasts and smashburger spots. We're good on podcasts, but we’re not mad at Celia’s for bringing more smashburgers to Wynwood. Like their menu and small restaurant,  Celia’s smashburger is refreshingly simple. The one burger option, offered as a single or double, comes with american cheese, pickles, onions, and a pink sauce that’s reminiscent of 1000 island dressing—all between toasted brioche potato buns. While it won’t be the smashburger you journal about, it’s still a good late-night bite after a marathon of head bobbing at Dante’s HiFi, which is just a few steps away from this place (and owned by the same team)." - Mariana Trabanino

Wynwood Gets a New Smash Burger Spot | Eater Miami

"Bringing a late-night twist to Wynwood’s burger scene, Celia’s opens its doors from the team behind Miami Dante’s HiFi and Coyo Taco — Arturo Nuñez, Sven Vogtland, and Alan Drummond — and is named for Nuñez’s aunt, Celia. Located next to Dante’s HiFi in the former Manjay space, the menu centers on a smash burger made from a 50/50 blend of Wagyu and Certified Angus Beef, topped with American cheese, griddled onions, and house-made B&B pickles seasoned with mustard seed and brown sugar on a custom butter-toasted potato brioche bun from a New York bakery. Sides include crispy Belgian-style Belgian-style fries that are double-fried and served in a cone with a variety of dipping sauces, highlighted by Celia Sauce (a twist on the classic secret sauce); desserts feature French vanilla soft-serve and a selection of Mexican sodas. Celia’s is now open Tuesday to Sunday from 7 p.m. to ‘late’, and starting October 1 will be open daily from noon until ‘late’ at 2618 NW Fifth Avenue in Wynwood." - Olee Fowler

The beef in the smash burger has excellent flavor and is seasoned just right. The fried onions add a great touch and bring everything together. I was also impressed by the thick, Belgian-style fries: they’re made from quality potatoes and are seriously crispy, which I loved. If you’re looking for a late-night burger spot with standout flavors and top-notch fries, Celia’s is worth a visit.

Great smash burger. Juicy, flavorful, and cooked just right. The space has a cool Wynwood vibe and the owner/chef was super friendly.

Awesome little spot. Easy menu to pick from. Will be my new spot when I’m in the area for a quick bite. Songs or double Smashed Wagyu Blend Burger served with American cheese, pickles, onion, and their Ceila sauce and steak fries . Stop by

Celia’s burger was great! This recently open establishment is very clean and the employees were very tentative. I went during the middle of the day and there was no line and service was very fast! Now for the burger, I ordered it as a double with no modifications to toppings and I really enjoyed it. The burger patty itself wasn’t completely smashed like a traditional smash burger with the crispy edges BUT the flavor of the patty was delicious! Very well seasoned and rich in flavor. The toppings were neatly assembled and complemented the burger very well. I also got an order of fries and they were spectacular! They were THICK cut, crispy on the outside and mushy and smooth on the inside and I loved they’re seasoning used on the fries. Although the food and service were great, the menu left more to be desired. There is only one burger with the option to make it a double, fries with a small or large option and Mexican coke or sprite. Would be interesting to see something like a different burger of the week or just some more burger options. Nonetheless, I had a great experience and food was great!

Wow!! This wagyu blended burger is top notch!!! I’ve checked out all the popular burgers around in Miami and this has got to be the best hands down! It is a smash burger but there is so much flavor and it’s actually juicy!!! Incredible. The menu is simple with the option of double or single patty, regular or large fries, coke, sprite or water. This is truly all you need! Catering to their items beautifully. We order one to try and a second one because we loved it! And both burger and fries came out exactly as it did the first time! Don’t walk.. run! Super nice staff! Attentive to customers!

Google
Celia's is super yummy. It's a very simple counter style restaurant featuring burgers & fries. There is seating inside and outside. The menu is very limited but what they do they do VERY WELL!! It's basically only Celia style burger and fries, THEY ARE AMAAAZING! So delicious the fries also delicious. Straight up no nonsense location with old school style burgers & not super fusion burgers with 20 ingredients. Simple & pure and incredible because of it. Go try them you'll love it.

Google
This burger was good, hot, and fresh. However it wasn’t much flavor. No seasoning on the patty. The only flavor came from the sauce they added onto the burger. Also wish they had bacon on the menu as an add on. I would definitely come back just to try again but if the burger is flavorless again not sure if I would return.

Yelp
Stopped in after a after a Yelp event after hearing people talk about this place. It's located in Wynwood not directly on the street. We were lucky to find street parking and were able to get to the location pretty quickly. They have a very limited menu but when you make something good, you don't have to make a lot of different things. I had the burger and I ordered some fries. My friend who was with me also ordered the same, but honestly, we could've done for one order of fries because it was a lot. The burger was pretty good. The bun was nice and buttered. The burger was a good smash burger was cooked well. The fries were yummy. I would definitely come back.

Yelp
Hole in the wall in Wynwood with some amazing smash burgers. Quick and friendly service which was also a plus! Simple menu choice of burger (with or without cheese) or a double and fries. Sometimes you don't need a lot to be amazing and this was one of those places. Def recommend if you're in the area.

Yelp
I don't know why they have only one review. The burger and fries were fresh ,seasoned and hot. Also, great service. Do yourself a favor and give them a try .

Yelp
Was there last night. I heard several people talking about how good the burger was while I was at Dante's. We walked over with a group of about eight of us and I must say that may be the best burger we've ever had.

Yelp
Not sure why they only have 2 reviews ....this burger was delish! Simple menu of wagyu blend burger and fries. Oh and Mexican coke/sprite. Super good and cheap! Def worth a trip.
