Wynwood Gets a New Smash Burger Spot | Eater Miami
"Bringing a late-night twist to Wynwood’s burger scene, Celia’s opens its doors from the team behind Miami Dante’s HiFi and Coyo Taco — Arturo Nuñez, Sven Vogtland, and Alan Drummond — and is named for Nuñez’s aunt, Celia. Located next to Dante’s HiFi in the former Manjay space, the menu centers on a smash burger made from a 50/50 blend of Wagyu and Certified Angus Beef, topped with American cheese, griddled onions, and house-made B&B pickles seasoned with mustard seed and brown sugar on a custom butter-toasted potato brioche bun from a New York bakery. Sides include crispy Belgian-style Belgian-style fries that are double-fried and served in a cone with a variety of dipping sauces, highlighted by Celia Sauce (a twist on the classic secret sauce); desserts feature French vanilla soft-serve and a selection of Mexican sodas. Celia’s is now open Tuesday to Sunday from 7 p.m. to ‘late’, and starting October 1 will be open daily from noon until ‘late’ at 2618 NW Fifth Avenue in Wynwood." - Olee Fowler
