Family-owned Italian and Greek spot rooted in the owner’s Cypriot heritage. Loved by locals for generous portions and hospitality; a neighborhood fixture verified via its official site and recent reviews.

Google
Hidden gem. We are visiting from NY and looking for a place to have lunch. Food taste amazing, fast service, Small but good place.

Hidden gem!! Excellent menu and specials. I had the Mediterranean chicken and it was superb, and reasonably priced. Loved it and look forward to going back soon.

We finally tried Ceno Grill the other night. I wish we would have tried it sooner. The wife had Ceasar side salad, and I started with the antipasto salad. The Ceasar was good, but the antipasto was great and huge. I ended up taking it home and eating two lunches off of it. For entrees, she built her own pasta dish. She had angel hair pasta, bolognese, and meatballs. I had the chicken Francese add capers. My dish was very good, but hers was splendid! Once again, portion sizes are large, so we walked out with a bag of leftovers. The atmosphere was nice, they had sports on the TVs. The place isn't very big, just a single wide space in the strip mall. Service was very prompt and pleasant. Zoey was our server, and she did great and had a great sense of humor! We will be back! This is going on our regular rotation!

Food is delicious and the service is very warming and comforting. Our waitress was very nice and she knew her menu, she was very pleasant didn't rush us at all. The flavors of the dishes was tasty. We will definitely try it again

First time there and Alice, our server was great. The food was good, especially the appetizers Alice was our server again and she was great again. Had some food issues, one dish was cold but it was the kitchens fault.

First if you don't like loud, consider somewhere else before giving them a bad review. Also, the kitchen is in the open. Again if you don't like smells, consider somewhere else. Now thats done, the food is incredible!!!!!! The owner introduced himself which is huge to me. Now the bread with that crack cup of oil is seriously to die for. I had the Atkins platter with broccoli. I would def order again. The soup was Italian wedding and probably the best I've had. I cannot wait to go back.

I have to say Ceno’s has consistently provided great food and service. My go to choice is the lasagna, it’s the best around. My wife had the lobster ravioli appetizer as her meal and she loved it. Thank you Jamie for the great service it was a pleasure dining there tonight.

First time trying this place today with my friend and it did not disappoint! The staff was very friendly and accommodating, the food is outstanding, it’s a great place to unwind. I opted for the penne Alfredo with broccoli and the sauce was so good. Highly recommend !

Yelp
One of my faves in Cape Coral. Mediterranean/Italian style. Been there several times and haven't had a bad meal yet! Drinks are good and servers are friendly and efficient. It is a smaller place and doesn't seat many. I've never had reservations but also have never had to wait too long. Definitely on my must do list in Cape Coral.

Yelp
We came here for a small lunch before getting ice cream next door. We ordered a pasta with tomato sauce, meat balls, and zucchini and this was delicious. Absolutely hit the spot as I had been craving pasta. We also got a small side of Caesar salad and this was just the right amount and what you'd expect. Quite yummy too. The croutons were a bit on the larger side and I wish they were smaller but that's teeny nitpick. Service was excellent and very friendly. The only real down side was that it was pretty expensive pasta. The meat balls were $6 for 3 pieces and the zucchini was another $4. We would come back if we're feeling lazy to make our own pasta, haha.

Yelp
Love Ceno, truly. But the only reason I'm giving three stars is because of the inconsistency. There have been several times when the oven was already turned off and they weren't making sandwiches anymore, or the quality just didn't match what I had on a previous visit. That said, when they're good... they're really good. I keep coming back hoping to relive that standout experience I had the first time, even though I know there's a bit of a gamble involved. It's a small, cozy spot with an intimate feel. The waitresses are always kind and attentive, which I appreciate every time. I just wish the kitchen could match that same level of consistency. If they did, this place would easily be five stars.

Yelp
The meal I had was tasteless. Veal Marsala should be very flavorful, but this wasn't. I won't be returning.

Yelp
Checked out this gem of an establishment at the recommendation of friends and we were not disappointed. Nicely diverse menu full of all our favorite things, beautifully prepared. I did feel my carbonara needed a little more salt to my taste, but my husband said his seafood asparagus was excellent. Nice spice level with perfectly seared scallops. Clean establishment with friendly and attentive service. Will definitely go again, Especially when friends visit. Highly recommend!

Yelp
I always forget to take pictures of my food because when it shows up at a place like this all I can think about is eating it. By the time I remember there's nothing left. That's my review every time I come here. I have a great time with the staff and thoroughly enjoy whatever is on special or all the good stuff on the regular menu.

Yelp
We eat here often. The salmon was great. The beef tips special tonight (05/12/2025) wasn't served hot as if it had been sitting for a while. Several pieces were chewy and it took a while to be served.

Bonnie R.

Yelp
We ate here yesterday, and had great dishes. The lasagna was delicious. We ordered the greek stuffed grapeleaves, which the cook came out to explain that it would take some time. We were fine with waiting for them, and they were very good. Worth the wait.

Yelp
Delicious food! Friendly staff! We stopped there on a whim on vacation. Mediterranean and Italian foods was delicious.

Yelp
Had a wonderful dinner at Ceno Grill with family. Started with the mussels; they're the *BEST* I've ever had at any restaurant. Had the Mediterranean Fettuccine as my entree; it was very good. Another family member had the Firehouse Chicken and really enjoyed it. Never been disappointed at Ceno Grill. Be aware, it is small and fills up with quickly patrons; our party of 5 ended up sitting at the bar which was OK by us. Outdoor seating is available.

John E.

Yelp
Ordered delivery from Ceno, I live in Mariner Cape Coral, at best it was "meh". I had the Gyro and the meat was tender and had some flavor. Tzatziki was used so sparingly that getting a taste for it was next to impossible. Greens were not crispy or tasty. My wife ordered the seafood asparagus and it was not as advertised. Zero lumped crab (shredded would be a better description). Served with the rose sauce, which was good, tasting the crab was not on the menu. Wife said there was very little shrimp, except for shells, I managed to get 3 bites of shell as well, interspersed throughout the meal just enough to make it not enjoyable. For $28.00 I would rather get a burger somewhere else. I have found that sometimes an eatery makes a mistake but quite honestly I don't know I will give them another try.

Yelp
Server, Zoe, was fantastic. Both of us ordered the Chicken Francaise over Fettuccine in the Lemon Sauce...excellent. Chicken was tender, sauce was tasty. Also ordered as a side dish Zucchini...recommend ordering the serving is enough for two. The restaurant is small inside so noise level on the higher side during busy times otherwise a great place.

Yelp
We must have gone on an off night. Calamari was greasy. Greek salad was doused with balsamic dressing. It was overpowering & balsamic does not belong in a Greek salad. Obviously I could not eat it & the waitress said nothing. Will not go back.

Yelp
Iv been eating here for years and I'll continue to do so always a fantastic meal and great service .

Yelp
This place is a super homey, local, restaurant with a hole in the wall feeling. You can tell that there are a lot of regulars who come here and I can see why. The staff makes you feel right at home the moment you walk in. We dined here a friday around 6 and we were able to get a table immediately without reservation. The cuisine is a mix of Italian and Greek. We ordered the scallop special, the mussels in white wine, the firehouse chicken, and the asparagus shrimp pasta. The portions were nice and big and the food was packed with flavor. We split the shrimp pasta but did end up having to take some home, the portion was huge. The hero of the meal was the staff, the waitress was super genuine and helpful, she was not pushy and honestly we felt that all her recommendations were on point. Would come back but with an appetite.

Yelp
Fun little Italian restaurant. Food is incredible. The cocktails are good, we sat at the bar and enjoyed an easy banter with the barmaid and the 3 guys just back from golf. The laughing was good, funny, delicious and friendly good times were had.

Yelp
So looking forward Ceno's after great meals last year. The chick parm was tough, less than 1/4 " thick, with a total weight of approx 4 ounces. My question to manager was tonight dish up to their quality standards. Manager welcomed feedback and took it back to kitchen. Chef/cook didn't want to hear any feedback, very defensive and sarcastic. We could hear him from our table up front. We were not charged for the chick parm. Manager and server apologized and ask for another try. Too many great food choices in the cape, doubt we"ll be back

Yelp
Loved the food and service. I had the house special pork chop. Excellent! Served with a sweet potato mash that had a hint of maple flavor. My better half had the lasagna. That was great too. Will be back

Yelp
Great seafood and service. Not a large seating capacity so plan ahead. The staff really cares about their customers and ensures you have everything you need to enjoy a nice Italian dinner.

Yelp
Very good food. Atmosphere is average but nice. We got very good service when we went there and also the owner did come up and greet us which was very nice

Yelp
Lovely dinner this evening with Mom. The restaurant isn't very large and when it's full, it gets a little louder than we'd like but sitting in the last table in the back tended to help except when the kitchen was clattering pans. I was going to get a salad but my eye caught the "Atkins Special" that was the very last item on the menu. Blam, that's what I'm having! A skillet filled with sliced chicken, meatballs and sausage topped with tomato sauce (not perfect on keto but close) and mozzarella cheese. Delicious and I somehow managed to avoid splattering any of it on me. Mom chose the Chicken Marsala which was a good portion and she pronounced it delicious. She also selected the linguine but plain so that she could just add butter. That's what she likes and I don't argue. Good, attentive service and a good meal that was reasonably priced. I had originally chosen Ceno because it was on my Delta rewards program but dang it, forgot to add that credit card to the account. I guess I need to return to Ceno! Yelp
We tried Ceno Grille for the first time on Friday night and it was fantastic! We are from NJ and have been in search of great Italian and we found it! Not only was the food amazing but the service from all, was top notch. We sat at the bar and April was so much fun! The chef even came out after we raved about the food. It was really great! We can't wait to go back.

Yelp
Delicious food, attentive staff only complaint, it is too small being so good it would need to be at least 3 times the size to fit more people at once

Yelp
We keep coming back to this place for the fabulous food and the ample portions. That being said, as a dine-in venue, we do struggle because of the noise level. My husband has a hard time hearing with a lot of background noise and because this is a small, busy place, the noise level is a challenge. Despite this, the food keeps calling us back. My brother and his wife joined us recently and we decided to try the octopus appetizer. None of our party had ever tried octopus and we were quite pleased with the presentation and taste. It was a total win! I've included a photo here because it was so pretty (who knew an ugly octopus could be so pretty?). I always order the Seafood Asparagus and my brother agreed it was delicious. As usual, I could only eat half (nice portions!) which means I got to have a dinner of leftovers another night. My husband gets the Atkins Special (lots of meat) with Rigatoni served in a huge bowl. He has no trouble polishing that off. My brother's wife ordered a salad as her entree but wasn't wild about the dressing. Next time, we'll order it on the side to switch it up if need be....lesson learned. Ceno does have a few tables outside for those who want to punish themselves in the heat. I prefer the air conditioning and you've got a choice of sitting at the bar, choosing a high top in the middle or sitting at tables (no booths here). A word of warning: have a sweater or light jacket handy in case you get seated under an AC vent which can be ice cold! We've been coming to Ceno for years (see prior review) and it never disappoints. They do get quite busy on Friday and Saturday nights so avoid the 6:30pm busy time (seems everyone in Cape Coral dines out at 6:30). Since there are multiple restaurants in this plaza, parking can also be a challenge. Tip: focus on the end closest to Chiquita next to the gas station, there is almost always a spot on that end. If you hit this place at 7:10pm you'll score a parking spot and an inside table pretty easily. Enjoy!

Yelp
The service was great. The portion for the eggplant parm was huge. It was a pleasant dining experience.

Yelp
My other half wanted a meatball sandwich ) and he is very picky). It was a beautiful day and they do have seating outside, but we decided to sit inside. He was shocked when we went inside! It's a small, quaint very nice place- he just expected something bigger. His meatball sandwich, although the bread was soggy so he had to cut it and eat it with a fork- was a success!! The potatoes, which are like slices of potatoes, was given a "these are really good" I ordered a Greek salad. The waitress was good, she brought a side plate for the seeds in the olives and the stems of the pepperchini's. It was a perfect lunch and we will be back!!

Yelp
We came here for Valentine's Day dinner. They didn't take reservations on this occasion but the wait wasn't not bad. We got there at 6ish and there were a few tables before us. We started with a couple appetizers. Stuffed grape leaves with meat and rice was very good as it was served warm. As we saw the portions of other people's food were big, we decided to share an entree with a side of meatball. Frutti di Mare appetizer and Penne Vodka was very tasteful. Dessert was tiramisu. The lady fingers were moist with liquor but not overly soaked. It was like a cherry on top of a sundae.

M Z.

Yelp
Definitely one of the best restaurants we have been to while visiting Cape Coral! Small seating and can get pretty loud when it's busy but the food is worth it. You can watch the chefs cook the meal and see that everything is truly made to order and not frozen from a bag. The owner (or manager?) was very nice and attentive to the restaurant and staff. Overall decently price, big portions, and a wide variety of items and specials. Will definitely be returning if we ever vacation there again!!

Yelp
Ceno Grille is one of recommended dining facility in Cape Coral. We procrastinated for many years, finally, we went for an early dinner. It is located in a strip mall along Cape Coral Parkway with plenty of parking space. This is a typical bar setup with a number of inside tables, high tops and several outside tables shielded by some small palms from parking lot. We were seated immediately inside before the crowd starting to pack the place. Seating at the bar is also available. I asked if they have grilled Octopus but unfortunately it is not available to night. Initially, we were thinking about a cup of pasta fagioli soup and grilled calamari. We abandoned that idea and ordered small order of Caesar salad instead. We ordered Spanakopita and Frutti de Mare for our entree. The Spanakopita is baked with spinach, herbs and feta cheese wrapped with Phyllo dough and served with roasted red pepper and Greek style potatoes. It was very good but could use a little more spinach in their filling! The Frutti de Mare is loaded with huge scallops, shrimps, mussels, and Little neck clams over linguine with a light tomato sauce. It is cooked perfectly and full of flavor! Helen, our waitress was friendly and attentive. George, the owner stop by and greeted us to ensure everything is OK. We will be back for more of their specialties next time!

Yelp
Great little restaurant next to Lobster Lady. The food was fantastic. Boasting authentic Italian and Mediterranean, they back their claim. Service was fast and helpful. They couldn't be nicer. Well worth the trip.

Yelp
We are visiting from out of state and have sought out places that the locals eat - we haven't had a bad meal yet. However, if we had visited here earlier in our trip, it may have been a must-repeat spot! The feel when we walked in was that of a spot the locals love and frequent - the staff was engaged with several tables where they seemed to have a familiarity with their customers. Our server was a sweetheart, and asked what some of our overall preferences were when we asked for suggestions. (I appreciated that, as a big bowl of pasta wasn't quite "it" after a hot day in the sun. We did mussels and a salad as an appetizer- my husband added on some gyro meat to the salad and it was a great addition. The mussels were plump and flavorful. The garlic oil with the complimentary bread and the mussels could have kept me happy! My husband tackled the lasagna as an entree (it won the day - delish, and two meals with the leftovers!) and I went with the Mediterranean chicken - chicken breast served on a bed of sautéed spinach, with tomato, feta and mozzarella. It was PERFECT. plenty filling, and delicious. As I said - I'm sad we didn't try it earlier in the week because it would have rated a return trip if we had more time. The service combined with the menu options makes this the type of place my husband and I wish we had at home. Thank you for a wonderful dinner!

Kim K.

Yelp
Used to Love, Love, Love Ceno. However, dinner was watery and Rushed. The hostess looked miserable, the staff looked like they didnt know what to do. The to go bags were literally thrown on the table as the waitress ran by. So sad to see a nice place go down the tubes.

Yelp
My wife and I used to come here regularly in 2016-2019 timeframe. Food, service, and ambiance was always good at that time. We had waited 30-60 minutes for a table many evenings. We had a bad experience with poor quality food a couple times and had stopped going to Ceno Grille for a few years. Since it had been quite awhile and we remember how good the food once was, we decided to give it another try tonight. Service was very good, there was no wait at all, but food was the worst we ever had there. Neither of us enjoyed our meal. My wife's spanakopita was terrible, the phyllo crust was hard, dry and and burnt, spinach filing was also dry and overpowered by too much mint. My eggplant moussaka was terrible, very little eggplant, a thick bottom layer of terribly over spiced meat, and a disappointingly dried-out béchamel on top. We've had both dishes in Greece and know how good they can be. Tonight's Greek dishes were both lousy. The potatoes served with both dishes were burnt to a crisp and very hard, they tasted like they were leftovers. Overall it was a disappointing evening. The server did not seem surprised when we did not finish much of the food and did not want to take any leftovers home. No one stopped by our table to ask us how the food was. Maybe the low quality food explains why there was no longer any wait on a Friday evening. Sadly, we won't be coming back anytime soon.

Kristina E.

Yelp
This was the first restaurant we dined at after moving to Cape Coral. The service was great, and so was the food! We went in the middle of the day, and there was no wait, but I cannot attest to the wait time for dinner. Many different things to try, and everything is good. Highly recommend!

Mark M.

Yelp
Now please don't go too Ceno's because you will cause a wait list. This place is the real deal awesome food great servers and very fair prices. We went on a Tuesday an got right in but friends say the weekends they are packed. You won't be disappointed.
google avatar

Jan B.

Yelp
I can't believe we found this little gem of a place. The ambiance is lacking but the quality of the food and service more than makes up for it. We shared a serving of lasagne and Carbonara. The carbonara was the best I've had outside of my favorite Italian place in San Diego. We will definitely be back to sample more of what they have to offer. The owner, George, came out and sat with us for a few mins which is very rare in todays world.

Yelp
Grilled calamari, AMAZING! Never had it grilled, always fried, well, I was open to something new after a glass of the sangria and.... whoa! Saved me the heartburn and I loved it! Hubby had seafood asparagus ( delish) and I tried the Moussaka ( look it up, another whoa! ) This is my new place, cozy, crowded, great sizzling food coming out that looks so amazing, I am going back! Huge fan! Chrissy the server is on top of it, now THAT is service that deserves a tip!!!! The godfather table will soon be mine!!! Say hi next time your in!

Yelp
Food is outstanding, quality , service is impeccable, located in Cape Coral this is a great spot for a gyro or Mediterranean meal!

Yelp
Food was delicious!!! Definitely recommend. The service was good too. It's a small quaint restaurant I would make reservation's

Yelp
Excellent service from all staff consistently. Wonderful food options with creative specials daily. The owner,George, is often onsite overseeing his restaurant which runs flawlessly wether he's there or not. Everything I've had there has been outstanding every time. This is a highly rated go-to spot in the Cape.

Yelp
Our first time at Cino Grill. My husband had a huge prime rib and I had salmon with lemon sauce. We enjoyed our meals thoroughly. Originally we were going to Lobster Lady. But there was only two of us and they don't take reservations for a small party. So rather than hang out in the heat or inside with the loud noise I quickly checked Ceno's menu on my cell phone. We walked in and were seated immediately. It was quiet compared to Lobster Lady. Not that I have anything bad to say about Lobster Lady. I just won't go there in the evenings anymore. Too loud.

Gozde G.

Yelp
I wish there was a zero point that i can give for you. I got food poisoning after two hours eating the mussels from you. Ended up in ER. Had to pay too much out of pocket. If you are serving a see food you have to know how to cook it properly.
google avatar

Shannon A.

Yelp
Went here with a friend a few months ago. She got the special, which was a steak, and she loved it. I got the chicken parm dinner, which is a weakness of mine. It was amazing, and huge! Had to take most of it home. The bread they serve before dinner is very good as well. It's a small place so make sure you go off season or at an unusual time. This strip mall has lots of good restaurants and the best ice cream place in the Cape, so it's a popular place to be.
google avatar

Debbie C.

Yelp
Nice atmosphere but the restaurant is small inside. I've had several meals which all were delicious. I even tried the Gyro. To my surprise it was actually very tasty. I will definitely order that again.
google avatar

Monica L.

Yelp
Very small with limited seating. Very loud also but food is hood and staff is great. Owner just opened a steakhouse in same plaza and haven't been yet but I really like Ceno and will be back. I had lunch one day after a Dr appointment and had a really good caprese and a glass of wine with tip less than $20

Gerry C.

Yelp
Have dined here many times with great satisfaction. Although on my most recent visit, I noticed that although the pricing hasn't changed, the portions have diminished. I always order a bowl of pasta fagioli and grilled calamari. I have to say, these items usually fill me up, but I need to order some mussels (which were very good) to make that happen.
google avatar

Elena L.

Yelp
Went in for late lunch early dinner with my husband. We had heard good things so we decided to give it a try. First impression when we walked in was clean and cute. Nicely decorated with greek and italian decor. Server was friendly. We ordered the fried calamari app. It was nicely breaded and tasted good. Only complaint is it could have been cooked a minute or 2 longer. I ordered the baked ziti and a side of meatballs. Sauce was good, simple, Pasta cooked perfectly al dente. My husband ordered a Gyro without tzatziki sauce. He enjoyed it. Came with housemade potato wedges. All in all a good experience. We would likely go back.

Yelp
Always excellent food!!! Haven't been in a while. I think lunch soon !!! Small intimate place .. George , the owner , is always there , great gentleman !!

Yelp
Went to Ceno Grill today for lunch with my wife. We both had the gyro sandwich with fries. Huge homemade fries. Fantastic gyro. Still deserves the rating!
